Title: How about investing into altcoins?

We are more focused on bitcoin than ever as most of the users wants to invest into bitcoin assuming a bull run post halving but nit many are planning to invest into altcoins, I think we need to focus on altcoins as well as there are coins like Tron, ADA and all which can pump anytime and priced extremely less as of now and even if bitcoin pumps it will have positive affect on altcoins as well so I think we should invest into reputed altcoins as well.

investing in altcoin is still needed because there are still some altcoins that provide benefits too, although not much. maybe the potential is more on altcoin that has a good rating so at the moment I'm also just focusing on a few altcoins that have a rating in the market, with the aim of finding the potential among altcoins that have that rating

Of course, that's why it is better to diversify out portfolio, but majority should be in Bitcoin and the rest altcoins in the top 10. There are a lot of Bitcoin maximalist around here in the community, but I will assume that there are also smart investors who goes into putting their money on altcoins.

The only thing worth to mentioned though is that majority of altcoins moves along Bitcoin. So it's very very hard for altcoin to push the price unless Bitcoin goes on another bull run. But when everything is right, like we have seen in 2017, altcoins will eventually bounce back and possible that majority of them will hit another all time high. So diversification is the key here.

Yes, you can actually earn more in the long run from altcoins. However, you have to be really careful about what projects you invest into. Try to stick to the top 50 or so coins on coinmarketcap to limit the amount of risk you'll be taking. If you want to be really safe but still make money in the long run, stick to Bitcoin. However, if you want something a little more risky with a higher upside, then try to find something around the #50 spot on coinmarketcap.

It's not true. the fact that if even the major coins like ADA, Tron and another altcoin major coin are also following bitcoin and get the same trend as bitcoin. We must take a big risk by putting our focus to the medium altcoin to get the best volatility as the majority of coins are getting a huge increase was coming from the medium tier like tezos, etc.
If you have a lot of money and that's enough to spend a small percentage to bet on the medium coin which was having the best volatility.
If that project is a good project and it has a lot of chances to be the next major altcoin like those coins were exist in the market. ADA, TRON, and many more start from nothing to something

Not every investor holding Bitcoin with that assumption. Some of them just want to save their assets in Bitcoin as it is the only independent currency in term of price. Just because people holding Bitcoin doesn't always mean that people believe the Bitcoin price will increase and just like when you hold your local fiat.

That's good because I'm sure there will be some altcoins that have a higher percentage increase than BTC, and I have prepared some altcoins that I will hold.

I hope there will be at least one altcoin that I hold will have a good price so that I can optimize revenue when the bull run occurs.

Why focus in altcoins if everyone is focusing in bitcoin? I mean you can focus in bitcoin but at the same time invest to altcoins of your choice. You can diversify into altcoins but don't be over hype with what you're hearing with those altcoins.

I'm also an altcoin investor but I'm more focused with bitcoin because I know what I'm doing. If bitcoin pumps, other alts will also get affected but it's easier to look into bitcoin prices. And if you're hearing trying to convince others and focus with altcoins, I don't think that many will follow that advice.

It's getting harder and harder to pump altcoins because a) you need a lot of money and b) you need others on the same exchange to follow, and usually they just don't.

It's different from the olden days when there were really only three main alt exchanges (Cryptsy, Mintpal and Poloniex) and it was easy to organise a pump across them all.

I don't see any value those altcoins can offer. I also don't see how they can pump any time as you said. When Bitcoin pumps, these alts are probably gonna down in BTC value, mostly keeping their USD value the same. As long as there is no alts with real, usable, relevant innovation I'm not pouring more money into alts.

I only invest in altcoin top 10 coinmarketcap for me it was enough to be able to focus more on making money. if I think bitcoin pump altcoin in the top 10 that will first look affected in the market

I don't think everyone here is just hanging out with bitcoin.
in altcoins we invest in the same way but do you wonder if the market is bad? :-\
not me because the alts bleed like crazy and who invests currently must reckon with the total loss.
well, that can happen with bitcoin, but the risk is certainly greater with almost all alts.

you know bitcoin will pump because of halving next year, but you choose altcoin because you predict it is going to pump too. do not you think it is funny? you choose something that is not certain and leaving the golden opportunity in front of you because of your prediction. trader always looks for profit, be wise with every action you make because it will be your downfall if you do not do it carefully.

I don't think bitcoin will pump on same year with their halving. Bitcoin was always pumped so high after halving hapened on the next year.

Trust me OP, I've invested in some altcoin as you say but none of them bring me much profit until now. Being on top altcoins doesn't mean that coin will be safer than other coins

Investing bitcoin right now is the right cheap price in a few weeks have you bought it from now because when bitcoin has started to pump then you will regret it too late.
for altcoin it is not necessary to depend on bitcoin increase we all know that altcoin is indeed experiencing a drastic decline but the short term is good if you are strong then do it.

This is bitcoin time, so bitcoin gets more attention than altcoins. so, most of altcoin would be dump as you can see
just several altcoins can go pump in this time, even top altcoin can't go pump too

but, most of altcoins is just pump and dump. especially when there is any news or good thing happens
the coin hyped and then pump so crazy, after that dump so hard and cant get up again.

yes, the pump usually will happen a year after the halving, but right now I am giving an example to people that think they will get a ton of profit by holding altcoin when they do not know what will happen to the altcoin.

Even in this current bitcoin price condition some altcoins are rising with it's own because the community is getting bigger and people are seeing potential from altcoins such as NRG right now it is on fire and people are pumping it hard. So i think we should invest in altcoin while we wait bitcoin halving to touch the market.

Not really a must but recommended, that we all take a look at promising altcoins in the market, we have a saying don't put all your eggs in one basket, and Bitcoin is not the only highly potential coin in the market, although it's dominance is pretty obvious, these altcoins are also progressing with their development.

That is the reason why you and we are here, investing in crypto is a good thing for now, indeed we are too focused on BTC price movements which have an effect on altcoins in general, and I agree to invest other than major coins like TRON, ADA , or modern tokens like BNB, EOS. However, all still need the right calculation considering that not all altcoins can bring profit to every user who invests. And now so many coins and tokens are born into each market, and every user, especially those who have their capital, take the initiative to make their own exchanger and token / coin by adopting today's exchanger technology. It is very difficult to determine what altcoins are right for investment.

Just choose the top 10 cryptocurrency on the marketcap except for the stable coins because you can't make a good profit from them. Accumulate more altcoins and bitcoin since the market is in dip you can buy it since the price is cheap. Just stay away with those shitcoins if you really want to earn a profit in the future.

investing in altcoin is still needed because there are still some altcoins that provide benefits too, although not much. maybe the potential is more on altcoin that has a good rating so at the moment I'm also just focusing on a few altcoins that have a rating in the market, with the aim of finding the potential among altcoins that have that rating

where you find this information party because I didn't see any growth in altcoins market and most of the cryptocurrencies where falling from their actual value to ground level rate from the past 1 to 2 years.
So while choosing that few altcoins also kindly focus to sell that coins as soon as possible.

Investing in an altcoins is really very risky and we don't know if the value will go up because some investors choose to dump their token/coins and panic selling if they see just a little bit of loss in value.

And more reason to do a research first before investing because maybe in the future the value will soon be rise up and only few altcoins has potential and solid team and community. And definitely the value could increase and pumps up in no time if there is a lot of supporters.

It would matter on someones financial capability and to their own decision towards investment. If he do tends to diversify then he would reconsider on putting up some funds
to alts rather than solely focusing on btc itself.

People get used to jumped into the boat when theres a big event to happen.Common mindset is not to missed up the another possible pumped which do happened before on year 2017
and we cant remove on ones mind to have those perceptions to foresee the possible profits that might gave it into us.

It is not bad to diversify and diversification means Bitcoin and altcoins and no other as far as the options in the crypto market are concerned. I guess many or even most of us here in crypto is diversifying our portfolio. There are probably very few people who are purely into Bitcoin without any other coin in their wallets. As for me, I always have altcoins and Bitcoin in my wallet. But I don't risk my investment with shitcoins. I only trust the top altcoins. ADA is one of them. I don't have Tron.

dont you see the last market conditions? most of altcoins is down at this time
so, that's why OP asked about this matter.

the fact, when bitcoin rise, altcoin is going down. even when bitcoin down altcoin is going down too
altcoin can go up when bitcoin is stable. but, bitcoin is never stable bcz of it's very volatile

If we can find the right altcoin, you will have a chance to make a profit, and that means you can get more bitcoin. Many potential altcoins can increase higher, but we are difficult to find the right coin, and we need to analyze one by one. But I am sure if bitcoin can rise higher, the altcoin will follow too. I guess we are almost seeing the bull market because of bitcoin and altcoin now are moving to a higher price. Many of us expect to see what was happening in 2107.

Well, although so far people have focused on altcoin, I might prefer to focus on ethereum, litecoin, BNB, and BCH before focusing on TRON, and ADA.
TRON and ADA might be a coin that will pump when recovery occurs, but I think that the rise in an altcoin that I mentioned above is better than TRON, and ADA. that's because altcoin that I mentioned has a strong reason to have a high price when a bull run occurs. but, it all depends on each of our opinions. however, each person has a different opinion about this.

Altcoins in the past was a very lucrative investment but after the market fall, it also fall hard and what I have left behind are the coins that I am holding with a very cheap value, despite of that, I still don't loss my faith that the altcoins season will come back again and we have waited for years already but we will never give up as that is the real meaning of "HODL".

Everyone's talking about alts today, seems like MATIC coin triggered the debate. Of course investing in alts is a good idea, but be sure you investigate them thoroughly since there are multiple scam coins. I'm looking forward to armour my wallet with new coins doon: XRP, NEO, NWC, XLM

Many of us expect to see what was happening in 2107.
altcoin hasn't moved to a higher price at all !, and Bitcoin is likely to bleed again too, now Bitcoin is trading at $ 7354 and you know the decline is very sharp,
we are still waiting for bitcoin dominance to decrease even higher because it could be the altseason coming

Because BTC will not be alone, of course, there are ALTs that will also survive, although some alt are garbage, but there are some who develop their projects for the advancement of crypto other than just for the pump. / dump.

People are in focus with bitcoin because they know that even the price went down but we could expect to rise back unlike with altcoins. Though some of them( altcoins) remain to its potentiality but in terms of profiting in the current situation, we can't expect to have it. People choose bitcoin because they give trust to it and they believe that they don't get disappointed in the future.

No matter how many altcoins you name if those tokens were not in the top list of cryptocurrency in markrtcap it's still useless because most of those tokens were shitcoins. Investment required some knowledge of the said crypto that you want to invest to fully understand what and how would that kind of crypto react to the market because some of these tokens were almost no movement.

There's no harm in investing with altcoins during this market situation. We can still invest if we want. It's actually the best time for us to purchase alts because the prices are still low. We only have to look for coins with a higher capability growing in the future. If we'll invest now, we should keep in mind that it may take a long time because it isn't the best season in gaining a good profit through altcoin investment.

Investing in altcoins is good when bullrun had already begun. While its yet not starting, investing into ADA and TRON is good because its very cheap, you could have thousands of it with just $100. You can imagine how much you will have if ADA turned more than $10 but that's a long shot for now, maybe 5-10 years.

The good thing about ADA is that you can stake it to profit while holding the token.

but I think more of trying to find coins that can provide benefits in the short term, the goal is that when doing hold does not take long. compared to having to buy and wait for the bullrun to arrive that is not yet certain when it will arrive. so I thought about researching first and then looking for coins that you want to invest with short-term goals

And if you're hearing trying to convince others and focus with altcoins, I don't think that many will follow that advice.

agree with all your opinions
I only invest in altcoin top 10 coinmarketcap for me it was enough to be able to focus more on making money. if I think bitcoin pump altcoin in the top 10 that will first look affected in the market
Likely that they are the first one to get affected if bitcoin pumps. There are people that don't see the potential in too much altcoins but just for the very few and it's your option to get with those altcoins if you think you're doing it correctly.

You can have bunch of cheap altcoins but don't have that kind of expectation which it will be the most affected if bitcoin stumbles or rises.

Investment in cheap altcoin is tempting if there is a spike and prices rise several times from when buying, but the question when will it happen? if waiting 5-10 years is certainly too long, it is very certain that the ride may not even be worth it. I strongly agree to try to analyze and look for altcoin that can in the short term go up, of course it's better than waiting too long.

Well, investing through making decent research is somehow understandable but ignorant investors don't make their project research before investing. Investing in risky altcoins is also another version of making money which brought so many speculators in the financial markets included crypto markets. Despite the low volume and small total market cap compared to the BTC, ETH the potentially good altcoins will climb their all-time high prices soon.

It's true we shouldn't focus too much on investing in bitcoin, because there are still many altcoins that have very good potential.
I personally always share the capital that I have 50% for investments in bitcoin and 50% for investments in altcoins. And I choose
altcoins which have high popularity and also have high volume. Such as Ethereum, Litecoin, Binance coin, Stellar and Ripple. I do not
arbitrarily choose altcoins, first I do an analysis and research on the altcoins that I will buy. So my advice don't need to be afraid of
investing in altcoins, because if bitcoin goes up altcoins will also go up.

Obviously, only some altcoin that has potential to buy and listed in coinmarketcap top 50. But still bitcoin is really the one that we need tk accumulate more because it could go up before the halving or after and take advantage to make a profit.

And when investing an altcoin you should make a research and community if its still active or not because some of investors are just making a hype to buy the token/coins to gain a profit from others.

Some individuals have actually had their fair share of losses investing in altcoins, which made them to stick with bitcoin. Most altcoins, presents you with an early opportunity to make profit, which is why you should invest in them. But having to choose the type of altcoin you invest in, is paramount, because investing in good and promising altcoin with potential, gives you the hope of making profit on your investment.

Yes, bitcoin is in a period of high volatility and its price is quite confusing. It seems its fluctuations to kill the buyer's stoploss. Now is a good time to buy potential alts. Matic is an example. Although its price has dropped by more than 80% in an hour and it is alleged that Matic's team has sold all the coins they got since unlocking. but CZ stated that matic's team was not involved in this incident and that it was caused by a group of big traders. So the technology of Matic and their team is still working hard, now we can buy it cheaply.

Yes, it is very good to grab more ETH coins because we are seeing some complete downturn in the market and this will surely help the ETH to hold it in the long term, whenever the price drops, it is very good grab the ETH coins and it will surely help us to hold it in the long term.

Something like this should be consider by you or for those who intend to invest. Because it is about money, or an investment place that you are deserve to get more money on it. Expect, you spend money such as in the bank, it means you don't any right to ask your comission to them.

it is likely that altcoin will increase along with the occurrence of bullish bitcoin, but of course this cannot be a benchmark for us to invest in altcoin, sometimes when btc prices experience bullish, altcoin actually experiences a price decline, and this is caused by many traders who sell with pair altcoin/btc, and so that the velocity of money is more dominant in the btc buy or altcoin sale at the time, and this could be the cause of the rise in btc and vice versa causing altcoin prices to fall

I do not think much as the price of altcoin will lead to a low price, or zero. but focus on bitcoin is better than altcoin. when we know bitcoin will go up high, why do we need to choose altcoin which is only affected by the rising price of bitcoin right? Well, it could be the price of dominant bitcoin going like this year. but, if you want to hold some altcoin, make sure you have ETH and BNB in your portfolio.

ETH will soon be done with their fork, Its going to be a good token to stake for passive income.  Its funny why the price dips though.  ;D

If you can have millions of ADA and TRON you will definitely be hoping altcoins should be pumped to start the season. I would really want to at least get as much as 100K ADA but that would cost. I'm also holding a lot of altcoins for years and I'm hoping the project will soon find its cause to exist in a form of adoption. If these altcoins can also be accepted by merchants, it would be a good coin to buy as well.

Because some altcoins are really worthless and could make you loss a lot of money becuase the value is decreasing everyday or month.

But it doesnt mean that investing in altcoins isn't good, it is still good if we have strategy to do

We can use altcoin for short term, buying if there is any news or progress. Altcoins is usually pump after news bcz of low liquidity
And make sure place stoploss if the predictions is wrong.

It is not bad to spread our investment. There is safety and security in our investments if they are diversified. Bitcoin is the best coin but it does not mean that it does not decrease in price. The price of Bitcoin has also undergone bearish seasons in the past. In those times, there were several instances in which the altcoins are rallying. Altcoins are always great balancing options to our portfolio. Putting all eggs in a single basket is not a wise idea.

different strategy, funds for bitcoin is better to stay focused on one goal only, if mixed with both of them will still reduce the assets owned by traders, it is not good if BTC conditions go down. The capital strategy for altcoin must be separate, or you can use altcoin trading mode using tether or bnb pair. Assuming that the bullrun is still next year, we must still have a plan that is in accordance with the conditions this month.

Altcoins can be an alternative ways on earning profit second to bitcoin. Like ethereum, we can always earn from trading and holding because it's one of the promising altcoins same with bnb. So by now, if you think bitcoin was still struggling to increase we always have the best options to have those promising coins that's active at the exchange markets.

but i am also having some altcoins and i trusted them for months now(of course because of the dumping lol)and i believe that most of us here (if not all) has also altcoins in their possessions .

different strategy, funds for bitcoin is better to stay focused on one goal only, if mixed with both of them will still reduce the assets owned by traders, it is not good if BTC conditions go down.

I don't think ETH is good for earning by trading since the price is not so agile and it's hard to get profits from ETH by daytrading.
Earning money by daytrade is better to trade with coins with not so big volume, so the price must be more agile and we could learn more profits and don't forget to set a stop loss in everytrade.

Well majority of the coins today aren't moving the way day traders would like. Profit may be very slow  for any altcoin. Of course, when we talking about investing in alts, then you have to be looking at a long term goal, not just daytrade profits. Ether has a pretty secure future already and it just may take some time before holders get their wait's worth.

It's likely that many people have been investing in altcoin for a long time because the red market situation has been going on for quite some time now, I have held several major altcoins for quite some time now and for now the one that moves significantly to investing is indeed bitcoin

If you are a long term traders and that answer yes if ethereum is not so volatile. that can't bring a good market condition to generate profit while traders are putting volatility as the main aspect.
the daytrade must focus to get a big liquidity. any altcoins that placed below top 10 cmc are really suitable to be used for daily trade.

I already made an investment in bitcoin. I have also made investments in altcoin, currently only in xrp and litecoin, not long-term investment types because of the xrp and litecoin I often use for gambling capital but I don't use them all because the purpose is for investment, only part of it I use for gambling capital. I also have a plan to buy another altcoin but that later.

If you're planning to invest in altcoins this is the right timing to buy since majority of alts are in cheaper price. However due to the long bearish trend some investors are hesitant to invest and only focus in btc especially btc halving is few months away.

I believe alts are still profitable and its wise to have a well-established coins in our crypto portfolio.

low marketcap, bearish maket are the reason why we should do short term trading, not long term trading
no wonder why many people prefer to short trading in altcoins

long term trading in this time isn't worth, many coins tend to go down
we will have high possibility to get lose.

What do you mean by trading coins that are not having big volume, if you are going with that concept then you end up trading coins that are full of shit and the risk you are taking is huge as many of these projects are created to pump and dump and make sure you do not end up becoming the bag holder when you are dealing with projects that has low volume. I have not invested in altcoins for the past two years because i am holding majority of the coins and i am looking forward for another rally to cash out everything.

Almost every coin is down right now and if you are thinking for long term investment then it's not very risky to buy Altcoin at the current price. But one need to be patient as the next bull run may start next week or next year or next to next year. I am gathering altcoins of my choice at the current price. You go and choose yours after doing some research. I never suggest any coin.

Honestly, I don’t think buying altcoin is of much use rather invest in bitcoin only. The reason is that the price of altcoins are closely linked with bitcoin and goes up only if bitcoin goes up and vice versa. So why taking risk of investing in coins we are not confident of. Bitcoin at least is a trusted coin.

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency where I invested my money and until now I have bitcoin in my wallet. Ripple (xrp) is one of the good altcoins where you can invest your money. Aside from being cheap and affordable to buy it is also good for short and long term investment. For me, why not try to stop using your earning or extra money in playing gambling but instead try to add it to your investment which is a more good idea. Investing in altcoins still advisable especially if you going to invest in good altcoin just like what you said which is xrp and litecoin and I want to add some good altcoin which is BNB and ETH.

If we see altcoins go down, that the normal behavior of cryptocurrency so we can't prevent that to happen. Many holder will panic once it go down, it made us all panic. We maybe disappointed with the current recession but eventually we will survive in most certain cases. Suggesting any coins isn't a certain actions, because it was really unpredictable due to volatility of the market value. Much better if we just observe and enjoy before bullrun happens.

What did you wait for until now? Prices to grow or drop? Waiting for prices to drop and then to buy is awesome strategy, its even better when everything goes as planned, but in trading that rarely happen.
Investing for a long run is something different, why its matter did you buy at dollar or dollar and 5 cents, or something around if you plan to hold for years! If your exit point is at x100 you need to be patient with your investment and let it go for years.

It just because altcoins aren't so much profitable, unlike Bitcoin. If we could compare them (Bitcoin and Altcoins), altcoins are at very slow recovery forcing some investors to sacrifice their holding and put into Bitcoin. Practically speaking, Bitcoin offer such gaining potentiality which it might be hard to acquire when we are just investing altcoins during this hard time of crypto. It (maybe) people could consider this once the market is in bullish just like they did before.

maybe because of a doubt and maybe there are also other factors that we must respect each others views but indeed, waiting longer just to buy it will only waste time and will not get anything because the price will be very active to go up and down so when the price has gone down for a few days then it becomes a signal for us to buy and however prices will definitely increase after that event

Everyone is free to have his preference for investing in altcoins. Even I, invested in altcoins but I choose the best that I can. I've got ETH and thinking of adding more of it but I use to avoid those known reputed altcoins by others but for me, they are no good.
Every top altcoins has fans and investors but not all of them are worth to invest, just saying.
Yes, it is very good to grab more ETH coins because we are seeing some complete downturn in the market and this will surely help the ETH to hold it in the long term, whenever the price drops, it is very good grab the ETH coins and it will surely help us to hold it in the long term.
For a reputed altcoin, if the price goes down and you think that it's one of the kind altcoin that's very good and has the potential to grow, buy it if the price goes down.
The strategy is perfect if you are looking to the market and long term. You need to have standards, simple as that.

Even the same is the reality with bitcoin and other top listed altcoins. For some reason there is prediction about the growth of tron over the falling year. Even if there is no big growth it can be expected to give return on the investment in the long run same as bitcoin. I claim this upon the growth of these altcoins over time and on its real-time usage.

When we talk about ada, the growth is big to happen in the future without any time target. This is all because of the continued development. As of now there is one layer of development completed perfectly, more to happen with ada. Upon the same above it might have got claimed to give big growth.

Long term investing is not going to increase the investor confidence during bear market which can take years. Some altcoins have a better risk/reward ratio compared to investing in the Bitcoin. The potential reward is low in BTC but this type of investment is in low risky class.

Most of crypto investors are looking for quick profits. Very little investors are hunting for long term investment because their predecessor are making quick money from ponzi scheme so those people who get rich by ponzi scheme is their reference for entering cryptocurrency

That did happen in the past year to see quick profits at just one week's distance and you can see the impact of the coins you have to continue to grow into a millionaire.

that means there is always a cycle where investors will make decisions or other ways to make a profit and not only about quick profits because when investing at least investors will consider how well coins or related projects will grow over time, and when there are still many altcoins that has the potential for the long term, investing in bitcoin and altcoins is indeed an option for different investors

In these situations, it is difficult to expect for quick profits, the crypto market runs to any price, and we are hard to predict the movements. Sometimes, the price can increase so high, but at the other time, the price can decrease so deep. Without analyzing the current market of that coin, we cannot make a fast profit. But if the investor can be patient for a while and don't panic when the market is down or not moving to their target price, they will make a big profit later.

I do think that the good alts will recover very strongly, ETH and XRP among them.
The question however is when this will happen. At the moment the confidence in the market is low, and I think any price rises are likely to be led by bitcoin, and will increase bitcoin dominance.
So whilst good alts look cheap now, they may get cheaper, both in dollar and BTC terms.

altcoin is indeed experiencing a period that is not very profitable for a while back. a lot of altcoin prices are really in a very unfavorable situation and make many who want to invest think hard enough to be filled with anxiety about the fear of altcoin even worse. but it is true that there must be a sense of optimism that some altcoins can move well and it is appropriate for investors to be able to buy and store it and wait for the best time to sell. we wait for the time altcoin starts to move up and expect the benefits to be gained.

Bitcoin is a better investment for every investors, but no one hold the total investment in single platform so are all are must analyse the some other altcoins and invest some stable coin also in trading. The current market is slowly fluctuates so all are waiting for the next bull run in crypto market. I hope top 20 altcoins are huge marketcap and large investors are targeting so I am suggesting the high volume project.

Credits just like an example about how good coin works today with a proper development and a very solid team and community. The choose altcoin needs a lot of effort but we can do that easily when it was having a proper product like credits. Investing in altcoin will be more easy

Choosing the top 10 to 20 coins to invest for diversification will be your best choice including Bitcoin. It is better to invest this time since the price of Bitcoin is a little cheaper. But don't choose those stable coins since you can't make any profit from it. Unlike Bitcoin with a lot of movements that's why it do fluctuate too much.

Honestly, I don’t think buying altcoin is of much use rather invest in bitcoin only. The reason is that the price of altcoins are closely linked with bitcoin and goes up only if bitcoin goes up and vice versa. So why taking risk of investing in coins we are not confident of. Bitcoin at least is a trusted coin.
but altcoins grow higher than Bitcoin right?i mean faster movement than the number 1 Currency.

remember that though Bitcoin is what all those altcoin waited to move up,still we also knew that this currency is slowly moving not like those ranked currencies that easily to be pumped by whales though they are not staying longer not like BTC in which can stay long while in Bull.

I am not to blame if some people only focus on investing in bitcoin, because investing in bitcoin is the safest. But according to
my opinion I should not have all the capital that we have invested in bitcoin, it would be nice to partially invest in altcoins too.
Because there are some very good potential altcoins, which can generate profits in the future. Altcoins that I highly recommend
are ETH, BNB, LTC, XRP and EOS. Altcoins that I mentioned have potential that is no less good than bitcoin. So don't hesitate
to invest also in altcoins, the most important thing is choosing the right coins.

And if you find a project you're confident in somewhere around the top 20, there's a lot of room for the market cap to grow. It could very well end up making you more money in the long run if it ends up being in the top 10. I wouldn't take this risk with lesser known coins, but something in the top 20 or so would be safe if you're looking to gamble on something that may return more than just holding Bitcoin itself.

I agree with almost everything you wrote, but I need to correct something. ETH, BNB, LTC and EOS have indeed falled much more than Bitcoin during the long bear market and in my opinion have even greater potential. Unfortunately, I do not even consider XRP as a cryptocurrency, and because it is a centralized coin, I consider it the worst investment that can be made on the cryptocurrency market. XRP has unlimited supply and can be created 10x more at any time, which would mean practically total loss of investment for the investor.

Very volatile cryptocurrency price movements not only become a potential for investors or traders in making profits but also pose a risk of loss and in this case, investors or traders can experience large losses in just a short time. So, it is highly recommended for traders to better analyze market movements, and how big the potential of cryptocurrency is before investing.
and my advice is better to choose some altcoin that already has many exchangers and is included big altcoin in the market, such as eth, bch, and others.

Investors are assuming altcoin is not having a good future right now, i lately never show altcoin with a decent grow, even it's growing it's just for a while before it down again. So i think investors are just buying altcoin for trading and aiming for quick profits instead of holding the altcoins in case of supporting the development of the coins itself.

Diversifying the portfolio is a good thing but the entry point for a trade is crucial. Right now there is no alt which is not affected by the fluctuation of Bitcoin, whenever we see a pump or dump there will be a difference in the prices of alts. So be careful before entering one of the altcoins.

The shift of volume from altcoins to the bitcoin is the major reason which is keeping others at the bay too when it comes to altcoins investment. It is like a ripple effect, once a few started leaving altcoins, others followed too. Now, for altcoins to regain volume, bitcoin need to make an upward major movement. In such a case, people take their profits and invest in altcoins.

Therefore, altcoin price is in a way related to bitcoin's upward movement. For that people are trusting bitcoin more.

Big coin really promising again this year maybe. Focus on 3 coin include bitcoin for long term holding, and prepare maybe more money that we can use in urgent situation. Yes, we need to be very careful while choosing altcoins to invest and I would rather go for altcoins which has been there in the market and survived bearish market like Ethereum and TRN because ETH was almost tailing at $60 this year during the worst crypto bloodbath but managed to cross $150 again, TRON is an underrated coin which will explode at some point of time, does not require huge capital to invest into it. Hence it's better to go for reputed altcoins rather than experimenting with new ones but if you wanna take the risk then go for some new coins in DEX as they fluctuate too much and worth risking if you wanna start with a small amount.

Of course, today the state of the cryptocurrency market is such that investing in all cryptocurrencies is a dangerous and thoughtless action.  If you do not take into account the highest-rated cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin and Ethereum, then some altcoin may be a profitable investment, but for this you need to pay attention to future prospects and their relevance in society, in addition, a real practical use for such altcoins  of these coins for something, such as the Throne or EOS for gambling and how active this use is.

I don't think that's a good idea at the moment. You can see that the volume of transactions in bitcoin is increasing and the alts are gradually decreasing in volume and decreasing in capitalization. This is because speculators now realize that there have been too many fraudulent businesses, so they are being more careful and intelligent. They are afraid of alts and only follow the crowd, which is Bitcoin. Now you should also follow the crowd, going against the crowd you only get bad results. This is the truth of the financial market and the truth of the holders and traders.

I don't think alts outside the top 15 will survive Bitcoin's strong dumpes in the future. Besides, all the alts outside the top 15 are usually shitcoins and they don't have any development plans for 2020. I see those alts are passive and especially the ones that have been around for a long time. Dogecoin, Monero, NEO, ... their team seems to be lazy when they are not active on bear market days. Therefore, to secure our capital, we should only invest in alts in the top 10 of CMC, which are alts with good potential or all in Bitcoin.

The question is how we can choose a good coin while there was a lot of coins are developing the same tech? that's impossible to do by anyone. Bitcoin fluctuation is not letting any altcoin to be on the upward trend right now. Even the most potential coins are not holding up to their prices and falling when the dominance is increased. I feel this is a good opportunity to buy coins which have a reward on staking and put them on passive income.

to be honest, I feel that holding bitcoin right now is better than altcoin. however, given that putting all assets in one basket is very risky, so I am thinking of holding some altcoin. I held ethereum so far, and the price also dropped so far. Well, that makes me want to go back to bitcoin, but if I pay attention, the fall in ethereum prices is influenced by the decline in bitcoin.
for now, I want to put some of my hopes on BNB, but it seems like I want to see this development first. when other altcoin prices go down, currently BNB prices are trying to go up.

We can have that in our minds that there will be altcoins that will also pump afterwards.
There's already a big share for alts and that's why many are looking for gems that they can partake with before it becomes popular. The same strategy of the people who have invested earlier to unknown alts but later became famous.

Why just focus into investing in just one crypto when you can invest into both Bitcoin and Altcoin at the same time? While the market is currently down, we must grab this opportunity into investing to promising as well as reputed Altcoins within the market because there are really plenty of them to choose from. We must not just enclose ourselves into Bitcoin because Altcoins as well do have the capacity and capability to grow like Bitcoin. We just need to choose the right altcoin to invest with so that we can have an opportunity of earning through it just like what we are doing and having from Bitcoin. We just need to give chance to other cryptocurrency that are existing in the market to be able to have lots of opportunities of earning at the same time exploring the vast market of cryptocurrency.

I think if you are a long-term investor there is no harm in buying Altcoin at this time, rather than buying Altcoin that has gone up, because I see that a lot of Altcoins have reached the bottom price.  so if we buy it now and hold it for the long term it's the right choice.  but keep in mind that Altcoin has the potential to be purchased.  because sometimes there is Altcoin that has reached the base price but does not have the potential to rise in the future.  so you have to be able to choose between it, in order to reach the target you have set.

Do you invest in bitcoin or altcoin? After the success of Bitcoin, there has been a lot of attention focused on the virtual currency community, now there are hundreds of other virtual currencies (altcoins) being born and circulated to try Trying to improve Bitcoin's weaknesses.
Altcoin is also the currency to invest. Altcoins are traded on many world exchanges. Currently, because there is no exchange in Vietnam to buy in Vietnamese currency, you can use Vietnamese money to buy Bitcoin and transfer BTC to the world exchanges to participate in buying and selling altcoins.

Investing in altcoins is a good choice right now, there are hundreds of good altcoins in the market with very low prices. Even its price is 50-100 times lower than ATH in 2017, so you can consider and invest in a few altcoins if you want. But you need to be careful with altcoins because there are many altcoin scams and they will soon die in the future, hopefully you will not encounter them.

Just look into altcoins that surely we can expect for returns, not because they are at the top but because they have the guts to improve and go beyond the known altcoins in the market. We should need to be smart,  investing to altcoins is at higher risk at this time but we never get succeed if we are worried about the possible losses that we might have.

In my opinion it's a bull trap and in a moment the price will go back to $7200 and aftre that Altcoins will fall even more. We will have to wait a minimum of half a year for the real season for Altcoins. In my opinion, everything will start after halving when the BTC price start increases

Indeed, running slowly is very good and continues to grow at the beginning of this year. might continue to grow in large numbers and we will return to what it was in 2017.

I think it is still too early to think or suggest that the 2017 situation will happen again. However, if someone plans to invest in the long term, this can be a very good time to buy some altcoins. Even, if this is not the beginning of the alt season, then this year anyway will definitely be very good for all cryptocurrencies.

During the last, very long bear market, the price of Bitcoin was falling and rising, but the prices of altcoins were still at the bottom. I think that because of this, when the bull run starts, the altcoins will have much more potential for growth. This means that much less capital will be enough to raise their price by more percent than the price of Bitcoin. By this I think that investing in altcoins can be more profitable during the next bull run.

I am thinking of accumulating altcoins in small quantities this year. I am expecting them to recover this year along with Bitcoin. Bitcoin gonna go up because of all the hype surrounding the upcoming halving.
In the process, the profits will come to the altcoins which in turn will take the altcoin price and hence, marketcap up. Once this happens, people will follow other for quick and better profits which they can get through altcoins.

Altcoin season will soon happen again this year but firstly the market needs to grow and all coins will have a big price improvement in the near future. However, up to now a lot of coins outside the top 100 have not had any improvement and that is why I am quite worried about my investment this year.

Of course, I will not give up the coins I hold but will definitely sell this year because I have held for so long and want to look for better new projects.

I can feel that we are in the same situation now, last 2017 we thought altcoins would be great investment so instead of dumping them all to take the profit, we still hold a bit of it and remain hopeful that it will grow, but it didn't happen, so here we are now hoping for that altcoins season to come soon.

I dont know what some people will benefit from the failure of altcoins absolutely. I was surprised to see a bitcoin maximalist claim he never held any altcoin, it is deceiving, distracting and hard to believe. It is also just a denial to making the maximum benefit of the space if he really did. Scam is a big factor for the downtrend of the space but looking at it, some project are still very good and still dump. We are all victim of the bear market and we are likely to make better decision in the next bear.

No, you can't disclose any chances that altcoins will soar high again and actually it started already. Yes, there is no other 2017 again, this year is different and full of surprises. But it is to believe that those dead altcoins will surely be dead at all even the market will pump. And if we are planning to put risk on altcoin investment, see to it that we've chosen the right one, not the dead coin.

If we want to invest, we should buy the coins when the market is down so when the market rise we will get pretty much profits. If we're waiting for market turn around that means we're just want to trading and want to sell it soon that mean we're just doing regular trading with little profits. I think right now is still the best time to buy some good alts because the bull run is not coming yet soon.

Altcoins are nothing worse than Bitcoin. Allocating some of your funds to Altcoins is very important, considering that some Altcoins have a very large trading volume as well, the ups and downs can also be seen clearly, even more predictably, how the Altcoin will experience a correction compared to Bitcoin. It is better not to use all your funds to own these Coins. Use some of it to overcome losses due to our analysis errors.

We all are in cryptocurrency so we love BTC as well as altocoins. Some altocoins has given good result in past and they will be good for future as well. Main problem is that cryptocurrency is increasing on daily basis and traders or investors has to choose the best quality altocoins to invest. Investing in altocoins is now very profitable because altocoins season has started and that will go to some extent.

In my opinion this is a different strategy, funds for Bitcoin are better to stay focused on one goal only, if mixed with the two it will still reduce the assets owned by Investors, it is not good if BTC conditions go down. The capital strategy for Altcoins must be separate, or you can use the Altcoin trading mode using Tether or BNB pairs. Assuming the bull run is still next year, we should still have a plan that fits this month's conditions.

Compared to 2019, this year there are even more choices. There are those who are happy with the micin coin asset. But it's fun, cheap and can be a lot. Like other coins, we can hold until the price is satisfied It's different when trading, only looking for the difference in profit in a short time. If If you like to save a long time, take a look at crypto news on various platforms. There are many offers, on the stellar platform there are also some new tokens. In Solana there is also, and other platforms. Bottom line this year is good for storing crypto/altcoin assets. This time I recommend only TRON that you save, I also save this.

Potential and safe are Altcoins that are always in the top ranks which are also not too far from Bitcoin such as Ethereum, Binance coin, Cardano, Solana and also Matic, so if that is the choice, then I don't think it would be wrong at all to at the moment.
Indeed, the altcoins you mentioned are the top altcoins and have been proven to be safe and there is no doubt about it,
But again, everyone has their own choice,
besides that there are some potential coin memes too but I think the risk is much bigger

One way to make sure your portfolio gives you the best returns?

 Diversification

BTC, LTC and Cardano are good choices for stable and top-performing altcoins.

And if you still have some funds left, you might want to try and allocate a portion to PAYB, the token of Paybswap. An extremely undervalued gem with their pioneer DEX connecting BSC to the Polkadot ecosystem using the relay chain.

Due to its speculative nature, crypto investing is a high-risk type of investment.
But we can minimize the risk by choosing the right project to invest in.
As an investor, the best thing I have to do is not put my eggs in just one basket.
Just go to the top 10 coins in CMC, it has a lower risk.

investing in altcoin is still needed because there are still some altcoins that provide benefits too, although not much. maybe the potential is more on altcoin that has a good rating so at the moment I'm also just focusing on a few altcoins that have a rating in the market, with the aim of finding the potential among altcoins that have that rating
We can benefits in altcoins if this altcoins has a potential or a high value in a future but it was to long to wait on that happen. And well if we are more willing to invest altcoins much better to do some further search first because of these so many project are not trusted and leaving the project in no time. But it depends on us of what plan we make in comes of investing altcoins we have a different way of how it work.

If you are not fond of risks, you all the same can find altcoin to yourself that has good fundamentals. For example, ADA, DOT, Matic.

These dex tokens are good but I don't know with the one that you've mentioned if it has the quality of other dexes. But usually, if there's quite good enough volume on it.

That's when it starts to be recognized. But as I look to the token itself, it needs more volume for it to have its own good run. I don't think it belongs as one of the good coins you've mentioned first.

Some individuals, in fact have their fair share of the disadvantages of investing in altcoins which keeps them using bitcoin. Most of the altcoins, give you an early opportunity to make a profit, which is why you should invest in them. But must choose the type of altcoin you invest in, because investing in good and promising altcoins with potential, gives you hope of making a profit on your investment.

Of course the best purchase of a good coin is made only at a pre-sale. But getting to that sale is not easy. Now I think there will be a fly to the moon of previously undervalued projects, those coins that sell below ICO. Of course those that are doing something for their project besides managing the market. For example Near.

don't ever rely what you see around the internet, wherein always make research and obtain more specific information about the project because mostly nowadays m always turn into shitcoins after all so remember that before making decisions.. There are many promising projects nowadays, but we have to be careful because it is difficult to distinguish a real project from a scam project, always look for references from third parties so that we can place the money properly, and buying coins that already have a great reputation is certainly a safer thing for us to make a long term investment.

If you are excluding yourself on choosing those top altcoins in the market and tend to touch up with low caps or undervalued ones then this is something that you would have a headache considering on

how many coins in the market as of this moment then this wont really be that a simple thing to be done and of course it would be needing lots of research and consideration before making step further.

Diversification is always been good but you should be wise on dealing with things because it would surely cost you money if you did make a mistake.

Whenever there is growth with bitcoin surely there'll be growth with altcoins following it. As a result we've been experiencing good rise in the market of bitcoin along with the top altcoins of the market. The bullish trend of bitcoin takes a break and altcoins will show bullish movement then onwards.

According to my understanding the end month of every year there is good growth with bitcoin. This time too the same can happen, following the growth the market will stabilized and investors focus on altcoins. This will make altcoins grow high. Taking it into consideration right now it looks like the time for altcoin investment.

Opacity is enough old project in the market. But i don’t think it has become competitor with such projects (Sia,Fileone like that you mentioned). As OPCT potentiality i think it’s a undervalued coin even though too lower circulating supply. And this coin not listed big exchanges without KuCoin.

But top time is when market is bearish, sadly most of us are running away from market when it's the actual time to buy.

Yes altcoin's are where we should concentrate diversification is always a right choice I agree.

Altcoin is an Alternative coin for everyone who likes it with very affordable capital because there are many people who can't afford BTC so they have to do their work through Altcoins in cryptocurrencies.

I have contributed are some Altcoins that have great potential on the grounds that their turn of events, advancement and group are exceptionally dynamic up to this point, so representing speculation. On the off chance that you have truckload of cash and that is sufficient to spend a little rate to wager on the medium coin which was having the best instability.

I agree with you that we should diversify it means not just focusing on mainstream currencies such as bitcoin, but we can buy something more risky as low market cap coins can grow by 10 times and more very quickly. If you are not fond of risks, you all the same can find altcoin to yourself that has good fundamentals. For example, ADA, DOT, Matic.

The irony is that as btc is at its btc likewise solid altcoins are also at there ATH or standing at there peak value. We need to wait to invest in top altcoins or do some rigorous research and find coins that are undervalue even in current bull run. many people don't pay much attention to this because they think when bitcoin is corrected all will be affected and they inevitably run away from there without realizing it is a trap when they run away the bull run keeps happening and eventually regrets doing it.
even though if from the beginning you were sure that this was happening, you actually didn't need to bother running away from there and continue to hold on to your beliefs because I think it's useless to run away when it's bearish and losing, but after the value is high they re-enter. this space.

Investing in altcoins is a profitable investment, But before you invest in altcoins, you should check all the sources that contain all the information about these altcoins and you shouldn't be tempted by your enthusiasm to get rich quick. If you can hold your altcoins for as long as possible, you will surely become rich one day, so you have to choose the most promising altcoins and consult the experts.

If we look back to the time this thread is created (almost 2 years) and you already invested in altcoins (the popular ones specifically) then probably you already earn huge since the prices of most coins currently are quite expensive already.

Investing in alts are more risky compared to Bitcoin but the chances to earn from it is high as well, and it depends on the coins you're going to hold. Although it takes months or years before you can see the result but atleast you made the right choice to diversify your investment and its only possible if you did an extensive research to know which alts are worthy to buy.

There are many things we can do for investing altcoins, but the thing I do is buy top altcoins like BNB, Cardano, Cake and so on and then I use it for staking, there are 2 advantages, namely one day the price goes up and of course we get a reward from the coins we buy. invest for staking.

The problem in alt coins are they are not completely anonymous like bitcoin.
In every new coin first thing people ask is team behind it ? if team get down coin get down which makes them more centralised.
How will you create another bitcoin which always keep bitcoin superior amount every other coin.

I think investing in cryptocurrencies is the best, before I invested in stocks and deposits, but the results were disappointing because the profit was small and when I wanted to withdraw I had to queue and the fees were big, with crypto everything is easy and fast because we only need simple steps and there will be no queues like in banks.

Of course, trading cryptocurrencies is much faster and therefore more convenient. In addition, it takes place 24/7 and banks and classic exchanges, unfortunately, are open only at certain times. However, investing in cryptocurrencies due to their volatility is very dangerous. Mostly in altcoins, because you can earn a lot, but if someone is not used to very fast and large price changes, then unfortunately he can also lose a lot.

Don't get me wrong in terms of investment, because in cryptocurrency Bitcoin it is still very influential for all Altcoins, don't you see a decrease in all Altcoins when Bitcoin starts to fall and vice versa when Bitcoin starts to rise? if you forget that then you are very wrong in determining the steps for investing, because Bitcoin is still used as the basic benchmark by all investors now

I think investing in altcoins can provide more profit than investing in bitcoin,
and the price of bitcoin is also considered to be the benchmark for altcoins,
even when bitcoin goes up only 5%, altcoins can go up to 100%, this is why I recommend just investing in altcoins .

I agree with what you said. The big opportunity is in Alt, but it will be when Bitcoin is optimistically heading for a bull run. I expect market conditions to continue to deteriorate, because the opportunities are great when the market is down. So take advantage of the current market conditions, not to practice panic.

For me investing in altcoins is a fun thing, opportunities for big profits can be easily obtained, but I must say that altcoins are like a roller coaster, increasing up to hundreds of percent or dropping up to 99% per day is normal, the easy and safe thing is investing in altcoins but with a small amount.

Usually those who prefer to invest in altcoins are short term goers as altcoins have more pump potential than in bitcoin which could take some time to see its real growth but of course investing in altcoins has more risks. There are those who invest on both alts and btc. This one is better than investing in alts alone because you can reduce your risk this way.

You won't be bored with this because while waiting for your btc to pump, you can get some profits in your altcoins and by the time altcoin declines, btc will be the one that will rise and you can be able to take profits again. There are also times where both of them can rise together.

Investing in altcoins is good but the problem is it is hard to identify what altcoins are good for short term or long term, i believe that no one can predict the future but most of the investors prefer on investing into altcoins that is high ranked on some coin tracking platform. Just do your own research and be careful on buying we are still in bear season and every transaction is very risky.

It was all fun and games until someone losses their money and worst losses their lives because they not only lose small amount but they bet their entire wealth on a coin which they think can change their lives from poor to rich in a quick period of time. Not only altcoin but even bitcoin can also be called as roller coaster because all of them are volatile.

Bitcoin is only better because it can always recover while many altcoins won't anymore once they are done pumping. Indeed that when we invest we must only invest small amounts or only amounts that we can afford to lose especially if you will pick those altcoins which are much riskier so that it will be easier for us to move on once we fail.

its right we could not predict the fact in future , but atleast from our analisys we could take summary about possibility that may happen based on data that provided in market. this data was usefull and alot investors or traders use it as basic statistic to understand market history that usually will repeat ed in certain periode. investing in altcoin or bitcoin actually has same risk if we dont entry on proper moment or time, moreover altcoin price was influenced by bitcoin , so more difficult for us to take decision. So based on this data we could analize , in the past which price level was good to entry or exit.

I think altcoins should be placed in short and medium-term portfolios. You see that, aside from the major altcoins like eth and bnb, the rest of the altcoins get replaced over time and a lot of the top coins are replaced by newer altcoins after each bear season. So altcoin investments during bear season are dangerous because they can be superseded and their resilience is very low.
altcoins are not wrong, but it is the behavior of policy makers for new altcoin projects that makes it very difficult to develop, because projects that carry altcoins always only last a matter of time until they provide distribution and do not intend to be able to continue to develop so that they can be bigger.

they are better off making a new project again with the assumption that it is more profitable because they don't have to work too tired. Remember that doing development requires a lot of energy and money compared to creating a new project, it's definitely easier to create a new project, so don't be surprised that altcoins rarely last long.

but not everything happens like that and there is still a lot that can develop well because the development team is always updating to make it a very attractive investment.
because if it has grown, it is clear that they will also make good profits.

in bearish market actually be best moment to accumulate our favourite coins, but it not at early trend and should do at after bearish trend run for long term. in this condition selling pressure will decrease and also accumulation will be done by most traders or investors. investing on altcoin must analize bitcoin price too , when btc drop altcoin price could drop more. this is looks complicated for altcoin.

Whenever the market is bearish taking it an opportunity and investing on altcoins for long term profiting is good choice. Very few does it, because it is common among the people to buy when the market have begun to progress. Very few find ways to accumulate whenever the market have reached the low bottom. The recent one being the drop of ethereum. When it touched close to $900 there were no one to buy. Later when it started to bounce, more people started to make their entry.

This is a habit that is always done by investors, especially small investors. And who would have thought that such a thing would have a negative impact on them. They always see when the market is in an uptrend, while in a downtrend they are reluctant to take it. Maybe this is part of the psychology they created in the first place.
I think the mindset of investors like that should be changed immediately and of course they need to be aware first that it can have a negative impact,
when the trend is down it is time for us to buy to take profit,
never be afraid and need to take risks with full consideration

That only happens to small investors or new investors. They do not dare to risk their investment when they see a sharp drop in price but they will buy immediately if the price starts to move because they believe that buying like this they will not take the risk and quickly reap the profits. On the contrary, for experienced investors, the lower the price, the more excited they are to buy, because they understand that real wealth is only available during the down season, not the up season.

why not, many people say that but not the new Altcoin, it only applies to old Altcoins and is listed in the top coinmarketcap, many I have invested are some Altcoins that have good potential because their development, promotion and team are very active until now, so speaking for investment do not choose the wrong make sure they are still active that's all

yes, that's how it should be. because investing in low-ranking altcoins will only waste money, and I've experienced investing in lower-ranked altcoins I experienced losses, so now I don't want to invest in lower-ranked altcoins anymore. it is better to invest in altcoins, it must be an altcoin with a high ranking.

If you guys are talking about the real short term, study leveraging. It's surely for the short term profit that you guys are looking but it's risky and you can set it on how risky you want it to be.

It does require patience for those bitcoin holders and once you've proven it as the best crypto, you won't get tired and bored of having it.

Well, it's true about being lucky but you don't have to rely on it when it's come to serious investing.

Not good to practice that belief, crypto is no longer a venue where there are more people who
loves to invest with pump and dump project rather than investing with good project that have real usages.

Investment with an alt project might be difficult, but if you know how to deal with your research, the chance is still possible
to pick the right coin to hold.

Keep in mind that volatility might be a good tool to predict the next market movement. It's your call when you already
inside the market.

Investment in Altcoins is certainly very fluctuating and more challenging than Bitcoin, especially New Listed Coins which has the potential to skyrocket up to thousands of percent, as is the trending today, ETHW, skyrocketing almost a week but the last 2 days dropped significantly.

As you said the movement of altcoins is more volatile in price, meaning that investing in altcoins is much more risky than investing in Bitcoin.
Even though investing in altcoins is much more volatile, it is likely that the profit that will be generated will be much greater than investing in Bitcoin.
Even if we could choose a potential new project, the benefits would be enormous. The problem is it is not easy to choose good new altcoins and
can generate large profits, even some new altcoins perform far from expected. So do your research and analysis properly, to ensure that the altcoins
we choose for investment are really worth buying.

Especially if we want to invest in new listed coins, we must make sure to choose trusted exchanges, so that the chances of success are greater.
Then we also have to sell quickly as soon as the trade officially opens, because usually new coins that have just been listed on exchanges in
a short time the price will continue to decrease drastically. But my advice is not to be obsessed with making big profits, and no need to take risks
by buying new coins. I prefer investing in top altcoins, which I think are safer to invest in, especially for newbies who do not have good analytical skills.

Yes, we can invest in altcoins as long as the investment is in quality altcoins, but in my opinion, don't invest too much in altcoins, because the risk is high, because after all, the safest investment is bitcoin. because I have experienced investing in altcoins and I lost big.

investing in altcoins for now in my opinion is very suitable,
because most altcoin prices are currently at the bottom and have fallen by almost -95% of their ATH,
of course this is a good opportunity if you want to buy altcoins at low prices, don't miss it!

I'm so waiting for DREEM to launch a full-fledged PR campaign. You know, the more people all over the world know about this metaverse, the more I'll be able to talk to.

Metaverse is a good hope to create a Great Again Market, of course this is an idea that can encourage the market to recover, some trends such as NFT seem to have been difficult to develop and if the market continues to red then we are worried that it will happen for a long time.
Meta and NFT are just hype. Those days have passed and it is good to spend limited fund on meta and NFT. This is just personal opinion. There are altcoins that are good for long term. As the market is bearish, investment over the trusted altcoins will assure with long term profit. My choice will be altcoins with price less than a dollar.

ADA is still the top coin, still in the top 10 coins on CMC. I still find it well worth the investment and ADA just completed the VASIL upgrade, which is an important upgrade for ADA.
I didn't know what the vasil upgrade was already done. I don't have a focus on ADA but such updates could really play that swing for ADA and or any project that has such updates.

As soon as bitcoin rises again, I believe ETH and ADA or top coins will go up very strongly. So now is a good time to buy altcoins. Choosing a new coin now is very risky as we will never know when the bear market will end.
That's one thing that we are sure about. Whenever bitcoin goes on the top, ETH, ADA and other top altcoins will also be there at the top.

And before you buy altcoins, you've got to make sure that you own and hold bitcoin.

Algo is a FIFA partner, and I'm eagerly anticipating the start of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. A partnership between FIFA and Algorand Blockchain has been announced already. This might turn out to be an excellent trade in next few months also Algo is a good long-term hold. As the World Cup approaches, it will be easy money. If you are patient, you will be rewarded, I hope so.

investing in altcoins, of course right now, is very worth it!,
because indeed the prices of altcoins such as BNB, XRP, XLM, XEM and ALGO are currently at the bottom,
and there is a possibility to increase to 5x in the next year, so don't waste this opportunity to buy the altcoins you like, good luck.

Investing in altcoins during bear market might turn into suicide mission. It will be very hard to choose a proper altcoin to invest. Everyone, even old and reputed projects, try to look like a gem, but bear market easily and quickly clears market from weak and useless projects. The only reasonable advice that can be given - invest only in reach altcoins. In altcoins that have huge funds behind, investors and etc. Unfortunately, even innovative and progressive ideas fail nowadays.

The current market is still red and investing in new projects, of course, must go through deep thoughts and analysis, I think investment in the top ranking is a better idea to wait for the market to recover then after profit, we can consider investing in new projects.
Dont expect those shill account to tackle what is really happening and what is to come , instead what they are showing is what they wanted to portray .

That's good because I'm sure there will be some altcoins that have a higher percentage increase than BTC, and I have prepared some altcoins that I will hold.

I hope there will be at least one altcoin that I hold will have a good price so that I can optimize revenue when the bull run occurs.

I,, also agree with you, besides bitcoin I also invest in altcoins, and of course I invest in altcoins only a small part of my capital, because mostly I invest in bitcoin, and of course I invest in quality altcoins, namely I choose crypto with a rating top 10.
What you are doing I think is correct considering the current market conditions are bearish, so we must minimize the risk,
The top coins are very worthy of long term investment and I have never had any doubts about it,
the important thing for now is to remain patient and hopefully the bull market can come soon

in my opinion, just focusing on bitcoin is enough, no need to go looking for altcoins with potential for the next bull run, it will be quite time consuming and there are no guarantees here. if there is an investment in altcoin then best we should only pay attention to eth and bnb if, the rest can be like the next luna

everyone should accept the fact that altcoins only give good returns during the bull market, so wait for the bull season to come, don't rush to invest in altcoins at this time

It's not wrong to invest in altcoins but just make sure that the altcoin that you are going to invest is reputed.
The only thing that altcoin investing becomes wrong is when you also pick the wrong coins.

Another thing that we should do is like you said when investing in altcoins make sure to not invest in full because most of those funds will only be allocated for btc as btc is the most safest coin among all and btc is also the ones that can give an effect to the altcoins and not the other way around so investing in altcoins alone will be useless if we won't invest and put more money in btc first. Not all in the top 10 are good for investing because many coins on the top 10 are consist of stable coin and sometimes meme coins and shitcoins. So, don't just blindly invest but you must still do a research.

It's really hard to invest in altcoins during this time because we're not certain if this specific project can survive the bearish season and it's still uncertain if we are already in bottom or might plunged further. However we also know this is the time to fill our bags, we just need to be careful in choosing what coins to invest in. A proper research is necessary because as you have pointed out even popular coins are having a hard time to recover particularly Bitcoin. Thus dont rush to invest and take time gaining information for the coins that you would like to invest in, if possible avoid shitcoins.

Investment in Altcoins is certainly more varied than Bitcoin, very high price fluctuations open up opportunities for us to get large profits, otherwise it can also make us cry because of losing 99% of money in a month or less, the most important thing is of course depending on our purpose for holding long term or short term.
Before investing make sure we have decided for long-term or short-term investments,
only after that choose which coin to invest and with the current condition I think the top coin is a safer choice,
but it all depends on each other's decisions and don't forget to do your research first

With the current bear market still dominating the market, investing in altcoins is quite risky. If you want to invest in altcoins, there is only one option that is long term investment in top altcoins. Investing in shitcoins in this market means you hand your money over to scammers to spend on you. No risk and win rate will be zero if invest in shitcoins at this time.
i dont thinking investing in altcoin risky now , alot altcoin show their strenght againts bitcoin although price keep dropping. RSR , Algo could be coins that must in  our bag, while bitcoin price recovery these coins will be the fastest one. if we find good top coins that will released their main fundamental , better buy it rather than shitcoin that maybe never bounced due some reason.

You are right. Simply avoid joining a new project during the bearish season. New projects have a very small chance to survive during this bearish market, they seem very easy to fail. The most recommended coins to buy are always top altcoins like BNB, ETH, SOL, DOT, ADA, etc. The top altcoins have been proven to survive well, and they are at very cheap prices right now. It is the right time to buy top altcoins.

We arent talking cheap but rather people would be finding out projects which would really give them the probability on making or hitting up 100x or more returns thats why they do really touch up these low caps or new
projects and skip out those top ranking coins since it cant really be possible to hit up those numbers in a short time on what they do have in mind. This is why they do really take up risk and ending up on following these
kind of path or decisions.Investing on altcoins is never been bad option since we cant just fully go all in with Bitcoin and we do really have that diversification thing.
If you could bare up and could put some risk on altcoin investment , then its  your full choice since its your money after all.

By participating with a few dollars, I think this is suitable when calculating the risk. investing in new coins is hard to predict, so there's an element of luck to see it pump, because it often doesn't last and ends up being dumped and abandoned by the devs. for me it would be more comfortable to choose the old altcoin at the top rank on coinmarketcap, although that is also not free from risk

Altcoins are more risk more reward. In the early of stages there weren't many options and BTC was a lower market cap and had high returns so there was no reason to risk investin in altcoins. Also the technology had not progressed much back then and there was no reason to invest in something with higher risk but using the same tech as bitcoin. Now bitcoin is considered obsolte because it cannot scale and has no smart contract functionality. Whales who invested early in bitcoin use their funds to promote bitcoin in the media and slander altcoins but you can't stop the advancement of technology. Altcoins now produce higher returns than bitcoin and make much better investments, particularly if you have less money to invest and are looking for higher returns. I'm currently looking to invest in some new projects launching now, namely Lamina1, MAXX finance, and SUI. This next generation of cryptos are a major step up technology wise compared to Ethereum and Litecoin.

if you miss PHA, LTO or ACH I think there are still potential altcoins like MOVR, POLS and FORTH, don't miss it again, buy and hold for short term.

Yeah, when it was around 2016-2017, there have been a huge success for the ICO investing and almost every altcoin is bound to succeed. It did somehow happen last year when meme coins and many altcoins became a huge success too. But it's not going to be there at most times, as you have said, scams are still there and they were never gone. If you have found yourself sitting with altcoins and then making money from there, it's your best choice but having and being in bitcoin still is one of the best choice even if you're into altcoins.

What do you mean? Do you mean we invest in altcoins to get money for buying Bitcoin? I don't understand, bro.

What's more, new altcoins are still popping up with various products and features.
I think we have too many altcoins. Although they have varied products, it doesn't guarantee to survive a long time. Too many new altcoins only exist for a few months. Then, they disappear because of less interest of people to buy the altcoins. I see many of new altcoins are delisted on the exchanges during this year.

For ethereum and BNB no doubt both are top 5 coinmarketcap, so you found the right investment place.
Yes, BNB and ETH are the most recommended altcoins to invest in. But we must be smart to choose the right time to buy them. Just wait for a huge dump during this bearish season to buy them, it is absolutely the right way to gain good profits.

BTC and ETH have such large marketcaps that they will likely not make normal people wealthy. You are better off investing in microcaps like DRC and 0xMR or in newly launched projects like Aptos and MAXX finance.

I really don't understand people who buy NFT images and think they will earn a lot of profit in the future just like what happened before. I would prefer to buy altcoins that have the potential to increase their value in the future and hold them for a very long time.

But even though NFTs are not really trending as of today, there are still people who buy a pricy image file and the luck is on the seller.

Investing in altcoins is a very good thing but we have to understand the risks, if we are new then investing in the top 30 is a better thing, don't be surprised if there are high price fluctuations because cryptocurrencies are purely decentralized.
Yes altcoins are always a safer choice than investing in meme coins,
but indeed we must continue to do research and analysis first because it becomes an important part,
Top altcoins like BNB and Ethereum are great for long term investments

you better be checking projects that bring the technology to us
point network is one of them, I'm impressed with their roadmap
I don't see any good in that Point network project but pure shilling and promises , What is the Point in there?  ;D

would suggest anyone to keep distance from this or you will end up losing your funds.

investing in altcoins for now in my opinion is very suitable,
because most altcoin prices are currently at the bottom and have fallen by almost -95% of their ATH,
of course this is a good opportunity if you want to buy altcoins at low prices, don't miss it!
but consider Bitcoin as always mate, because indeed that altcoin is cheaper now yet Bitcoin is also cheap compared to the price in the ATH that would be broken again in the coming years.

isn't Greed that made you lose from that scam project ? when you wait for so much profit and ended up opposite side ?

Investing altcoins is a very fun thing, there is always the potential for coins to skyrocket so I always make altcoins the biggest asset compared to bitcoin, the old coins keep improving and every day at least 15 new coins appear.
the fluctuation that it have indeed could make it very interesting investments even though there's big chance that your investments will just turns into massive disappointment, at least there's higher chance of making the investments become huge just by investing very few dollars, so I guess it's worth the risk due to the investment potential.

Yes, right, as investors we must understand and be able to make risks when investing, don't just think of profit because the market is difficult to guess and sometimes the bearish market can occur up to 2 or 3 years.
