Title: Crypto Pyramid Schemes are still Amongst Us
Post by: VDraci on January 04, 2020, 11:40:19 AM
This is new year and i expect newbies to get smarter, be careful of new projects that are nothing but pyramid schemes, Multilevel marketing schemes or pyramid schemes may likewise be utilized to swindle crypto investors. Such new companies guarantee enormous degrees of profitability inside a brief period, and regularly convey different individuals to rope in new members. When the part list gets generous and the fraudsters get a sizeable store, they evaporate, leaving all investors seething. The most ideal approach to distinguish such schemes is to take a gander at the project's experience. Such projects will in general evade any perceived organizations or bureaus and have next to no undeniable foundation data, be very careful and limit your losses this new year, all the best.

One of the hardest things to practice in the crypto sector is practicing your due dillgence. It is something I try to push myself to remeber but often find my self being lazy and doing half assed work. It is important to research very thoroughly until your sure it is a legitimate investment because it seems as though the schemes are growing.

To simplify it for the newbies, let me just give them a simple explanation of what to avoid...
When any investment tells you to send them funds and they promised to double the funds in a small amount of time and send back your funds to you with the profit, then you should Definitely stay away from that investment.
That is what we call an HYIP or Ponzi scheme and it never ends well, Pyramid schemes ain't much better too, these are schemes that robs Peter to pay Paul and some of them are just blatant scams that doesn't pay even the first set of people, you don't wanna start 2019 with a loss.

Yes and interestingly some of them appear completely legit just like Miracletele that claim to be the one and the only blockchain based telecom operator in the world with bi-weekly profit sharing and community believed it untill it collapsed few months ago as the amount of funds going out exceeded incoming funds and thus they stopped paying confirming the ponzi model of the project.

projects with a Pyramid scheme can indeed make people fooled, especially newcomers who want quick profits, because of their unrealistic thoughts, they will easily join projects like that. for me it would be better to stay away from the Pyramid project because it will not be much profitable, it can actually be detrimental to the investment being carried out.

How can they learn when they are clearly after crypto miracles from testimonials shared by their friends. Newbies don't learn to walk the path anymore or have the patience to learn the industry. They just want to make the thousands of dollars abound in the market ;). Crypto ponzis and hypis and scams will keep reaping them off till they learn

One of the reason why they still exist is there's no clear line between a legit project or a Ponzi. Miracletele was surely a Ponzi from the start but when I called it so, I was bashed by people in this forum. Because they were having a profit from it.
Similar are many products that would give profit to early users and go bust sooner or later.

There are other things to avoid as well like pump and dump coins, some coins will start with very promising developments and later disappoint along the way, it's better to learn how to do research on projects

it's better to bet or trade margins, even though the risk is the same but the process and results are not controlled by others. unfortunately the comments about Miracletele above once held a campaign on this forum, need to be more careful to follow many things so far this year. Ponzi has always been unable to avoid bottlenecks because it only relies on new user investment networks, and also HYIPs that promise high monthly profits, but end up with fraud.

If someone gives you guaranteed high profits in crypto market then its scam.Never forget that no one can predict the future crypto prices and more likely they just want people to invest and invest until they make enough then they will run away.

Crypto Pyramid Schemes are still Amongst Us

All PoS or masternode coins are ponzi pyramids. Sooner or later they will collapse the same way as all ponzi pyramides so far. And there are plenty out there.

The problem that I have seen with this issues is that those fraud schemes claim and masquerading as a legit crypto project. They all claim to be using blockchain technology when in fact they don't and are only after the investor's money. Before, it is easier to determine those frauds because they often give unrealistic promises but right now they are also getting clever by copying the strategies of the legit projects. It might be difficult but you can still spot them because they are still copycats.

I don't agree that most crypocurrencies are ponzi and scams. For something to be a scam, there needs to be an intent to defraud and deceive. Most people working in the crypto ecosystem don't seem to have this intent, at least I don't see any evidence for this. Some of them are overconfident and naive, but that alone doesn't mean they are acting in bad faith. also I'm convinced the majority of the investors in these ponzi's are fully aware it's a ponzi, But they expect to make money because they assume they are in early.

He is talking about new project which is almost new project that promoted here on the forum are scam they are getting free advertise here and social media by giving a scam token or coins.

If you have experience on promoting them these days you will experience some altcoin which is no value or useless coin after release.

it's not the same as before that almost new project release before are legit you can make money first before they are going to die unlike these days that most of them are promoting a project then run after they satisfied about their sales.

I think schemes like this will never disappear, especially in cryptocurrency, even though there have been many actors caught, but there are always new challengers who do this kind of thing because it seems like there are still many people who can be trapped, but I really hope that no one else stuck in this kind of thing because I myself have had enough of seeing this since four years ago but there are still many victims

Those kind of scams are always going to be with us because the level of newbies never really improves, let me explain, a person is a newbie when he does not know anything about this market or about investing but wants to get in it, after some time he will learn from his mistakes, the mistakes of others and by absorbing the material that he reads and he will stop being a newbie, but then he will replaced by another person which is just like him before he began his journey and most likely will make the same mistakes, as such scammers have an endless supply of newbies from which they can take advantage.

Scammers are more smarter now, they will come with new tactics to deceive investors into thinking they are investing in legit project, stay away from any shady projects, ask them heavy questions and if they can't answer the questions it means they are hiding somethings

the kind of scam still works for those who are not aware though. those who are new to cryptocurency and are in need of fast money are usually the most who would send money because they are more vulnerable. sending BTC and double it after is very much appealing for someone. if it comes from cointelegraph impostor they really would think its legit which is why they send some. the classic old trick never gets old and this goes for the pyramid scheme as well.

But most newbies do not really have the necessary knowledge to question the scammers in a way in which they are going to reveal who they are, most scammers have been around this market for a very long time, most likely they are creating dozens of projects at the same time and they are looking for what is the newest tendency to try to copy it and look legitimate in the eyes of many investors, so scammers are smarter than the average investor in this market and they have to be otherwise they will be unable to scam anyone.

Experience?  If you are looking for a way to fall into scam then looking for experience is one of the best ways to go. Experience like credentials, projects, accomplishments, and background history is something a scammer could easily fake and a lot of newbies can be fooled by this. Still looking at offers or earning potentials that are too good to be true is the best thing to spot a scam. Those high yield and fixed daily payments are something you need to see to identify it being a scam.

Research.
A very simple tip but if taken seriously this will save the newbies a lot of money and time. There will be no more victims if they are doing that but the sad thing is that many of them still becomes a victim of these scammers because of being lack of knowledge and doesn't have the initiative to research first about a project they are looking at.

It seems that most of pyramid schemes and MLM as of now only operates and spread its information through mouth to mouth meanwhile if they are trying to promote such a shitty scheme through forum or social media they will immediatley get backlash and yes the most easiest way is to realize that their offers usually too good to be true and therefore considering their illogical offering of immense return of investment it's easy to distinguish such project.

Im not sure about that, when so many people are wanna become rich person quickly and so many of them will try to join in the IEO and can it be considered as a pyramid scheme? As far as i can see that right now there is no a lot of pyramid scheme as so many investors and traders know about how to identify the pyramid scheme.
the beginner is getting more awareness from the experts right now. People aware of which is the project that offers the pyramid scheme and they have been learned a lot from their past experience.

Certainly, and it sucks to see a lot of people still dragged into these schemes that have been debunked time and time again.

Onecoin comes to mind, as one of the predecessors of even Bitconnect itself. And there are plenty of cloud mining tokens as well as flat out pyramid scheme tokens that are still listed on big platforms like CMC, which is an absolute blunder if you think about how far we've come already.

The greed of the market is ultimately driving use of these tokens - and people just have to learn the hard way.

Yes, there are many newbies who are tempted and go there without being able to distinguish which ones are truly pyramid schemes.
But in reality, too many old players who jumped there also with the excuse of looking for luck. Yes, of course, they also think to play at the beginning, not play at the end. Because it's too risky to play at the end.

As an investor, you should know already about this type of scheme and how you could avoid it and it's good that you created this thread to remind all the new comers about this kind of scheme.

Most of the victims to this kind of scheme are the new comers as most of them are very eager in getting a profit with less effort. As we know that pyramid scheme became very popular because of it's promising profit. Let's just hope that this year 2020, only few will become victim to this kind of scheme that existed for a very long time already.

They will not be gone easily because there is still money in what they are doing. For as long as there is still something to gain, they will not easily stop. There are still people who have not yet done good research and familiarization of cryptocurrency that is why there are still victims until now. And there are still greedy individuals who easily fall on too good to be true offers that is why the scams are still thriving until now.

I know, right?! Sadly as it is, this is how things work now. They don't even try to look for more information about the project they want to invest, and when worst comes to worst, they have already been scammed. Either by pyramid schemes or any other schemes.

As long as there's always newbies who are too lazy to do some research or learn the very basics of investments, scammers will always take advantages of them. And when that happens, those victims will blamed it all on cryptocurrency, saying that cryptocurrency is nothing but a scam investment and etc etc.

I agree with you this is a very good suggestion. a novice investor is very easily attracted to large returns in quick time. they don't have enough experience so these beginners are always the target of fraud ponzi schemes. therefore we must always do the research seriously before investing and do not be easily tempted by large returns quickly.

Few projects in crypto world are running pyramid scheme as well not just old styles like MMM or HYIP websites, for example i heard about miracle tele scheme that pays staking reward with money from token buyers and later everything crashed, when a project reward is too good to be real then it's probably a pyramid scheme operation
Projects that use pyramid and HYIP schemes will always be stuck and will not last for a long time, so it's better to choose a project that is already real rather than following a project that uses both schemes.
many victims have fallen prey to the pyramid system. the members who will last feel the impact. but for those who participate in the beginning there must be a big profit. but overall the system is detrimental. and developers who enjoy the most luck

Well as long as there are people who'd willingly fall to these schemes in hopes of easy money, they'll be here one form or another. There will always be people who base their decisions what other people tell or or some sweet talk without actually making a research about what they're dealing with. It's a process that will keep on repeating itself as long as there are fools willing to be victims.

Some of these have already leveled up, so investors especially those are new to investing to do your s thorough research, we never there's another OneCoin looming, we are nearing in another bull run and many of the projects here are gearing for massive promotion because we all know, investors will always in FOMO every time there is a big pump ongoing.

those people who have remained on the market investing in pyramidal schemes because they want fast money and they think that they can cover their losses that altcoins brought to them. and always when people are looking for quick and easy money and they are poorly assessing the risks - they lose the remaining money. People will not stop investing in scammers until they will learn how to control their greed

Maybe the author of the post under the team's experience meant her previous achievements. Maybe they have other projects that have been very successful and it would increase the confidence in such a team.

I don't think you understand what the OP is saying or you are reading the post correctly. He is basically saying to know a scam you must look at their experience to see if it is worth the shot which in any case isn't a good idea especially when you think about how scams fake their identity and credentials to fool a lot of people.

New victims of scammers are people who have just come to the crypto investment market. for old people, I think it has become more careful with the investments made. unfortunately, there is no definite control for reducing scammers. that's what makes new people feel cheated by crypto and make the news that crypto is an asset that is not worth having.

There are lots of scammers out there who becomes evolved too and more clever when it comes to scamming people, they even have a working product that they will show the world that it is running and that they are not scam, and if you are new to crypto or not taking extra cautious you will believe and fall into their trap, so be very careful and don't be after what they promised,

The problem is when there was a platform who was promoting it use the common scheme but the scammer was changed it into the pyramid scheme at the middle of the campaign. This thing is very difficult to be identified.
Plus token becomes one of the project that was doing it.
Never try to join in the suspicious project is the best thing that we can take it as step to avoid scam project especially pyramid scheme project.

Pyrmiding schemes, Hyip investment,  ponzi schemes, Bitcoin doubler and many more.

That's all I've been through and gone through, And I'm not making money here because I'm always a victim. So my advice to newbies. Avoid such investments and expand your knowledge on bitcoins and altcoins and seriously read and participate in the forum discussion. Because this will be the key to achieving your goals for 2020.

As long as there are people who fall for it, there will be scammers around us. There were scammers literally 2000+ years ago and there are ones here as well today. Look around you, you must know at least one person who was scammed.

Just recently our cleaner got scammed on instagram for example, she got a text from her "cousin" and she just chatted and she thought she was getting free grocery points to buy stuff there and instead she lost her money by giving them her credit card info, in no period of all of this she actually considered calling her cousin and talk on the phone. So, there are tons of people who will believe in a ponzi scheme while telling everyone it is not a ponzi, that is what ponzis do best, convincing people they are not a ponzi scheme while scamming them.

As the practice worked out over the years shows, pyramids are a very profitable thing for those who create them. People have been aware of the phenomenon of the pyramids for at least 30 years, and nevertheless, more and more new pyramid schemes appear in which people continue to carry their money in the hope that this time they will be lucky and they will manage to withdraw their profits. This is extremely reckless and not far-sighted.

Most projects in the market are HYIP even if they do not call themselves in that way, just to name one example let’s suppose that a coin is going through an ico and they offer a 40% to their first investors, do not you think that is a HYIP? It may seem as if they are just offering a bonus or a discount but in reality they are offering investors the opportunity to multiply their money 40% as soon as they put their money with them but for that to happen someone else has to be willing to pay the ico price for them to get those profits, is it not that the definition of a HYIP?

For a lot of existing projects, today and also a number of individuals who take advantage of their anonymity, scams, pyramid scheme or any kind of illegalities were able to arise and that is why we should have to exert effort and spend more time to check each project that we would like to invest with. That is the best solution we can do in order to prevent big losses.

I support your statement, as a warning for all of us, especially new players. Crypto is not far from a scam and many people think crypto can provide huge profits overnight so there is a great chance of getting entangled in a crypto pyramid scheme
I have experienced that, when I was a beginner who entered the world of Crypto but I chose the wrong way to join an online business that pays Bitcoin, MMMGlobal by Mavrodi. I'm sure many friends here have also joined there before. It was an online business with a Pyramid scheme that was very popular at that time.
This business has been around for a long time and continues to grow, in the past mavrodi implemented a hyip system using fiat, after the crypto boom three years ago, I felt MMM and other similar websites would use crypto, and the fact is true, the crypto investment climate has worsened since their arrival, It's better not to follow and even forget them, and focus on crypto that already has a reputation.
only for the new crypto investment market which I think is deteriorating. whereas crypto investments which are already large and can be traded, I think still can survive. it is only a matter of time, all will improve I believe it.

I am also one of the victims of MMM's investment by Mavrodi with fiat. Many people are victims of this business.
Hopefully the crypto business can improve in 2020

I have not heard about that particular project but any new project that comes out should always be viewed with suspicious eyes, why a developer is releasing yet another coin in a market that is infested with them? Unless he can answer very difficult questions about what he is trying to achieve if all what he needs to do to create his coin is to copy and paste some code then you should never invest in a coin like that especially those that come above another network like all of those ethereum tokens.

not only looking at the project experience, but seeing how the background of the team & developer in developing the previous project, if they have a good reputation then the project they manage is also good. although this is not a full guarantee but it is at least quite good than nothing. and it is important for anyone be it new investors or old investors to always be careful in placing money in the form of investment in this industry.

These pyramid and ponzi sites at for morons. That is not how investments work. You don't get paid out daily. That's ridiculous. If they pay out daily how will they make a profit? They meant to reinvest that money and let you withdraw when you make a request. Automatic daily payouts do not happen with proper investments since its lot of man power. But obviously, scams use a bot that gives out x% each day. This is also impossible. An investment cannot give the exact returns each day. This is why daily returns at bs. And they thought that's the sole system of crypto which forces you to invest to a specific scheme and they don't understand that it's a currency that they can spend to trade and it's not the whole system that they've been fooled.

You are right but it is what people want and scammers being as smart as they are give that to them, I agree that to expect a daily return is ridiculous since you never know what the market is going to do and it is impossible to profit from it every day, but even legitimate businesses offer something similar by offering 10% gains each year and while at the beginning they may be able to fulfil that promise they soon find themselves unable to do it and they lose their clients because of it.

I always avoid crypto investment that have referral system.  Though I do not hate this kind of strategy but because with this scheme there are lots of coins or tokens that will be released without supported funds and when it circulate in the market it will automatically devaluate the coins market.  Aside from that many scam company uses this kind of scheme to look for unsuspecting investors.  They blind their supporters by means of reward whenever they refer someone to invest in the project.

I think everyone who has been in cryptocurrency for a long time and invests in that knowledge, which is needed to observe and analyze a project before deciding to invest in it, maybe this is only needed by new people who are in cryptocurrency where they need to learn first before making a decision. But sometimes we still experience failure because what we think is not in accordance with what happened.

I think just if we look closely at ICO's we can consider them scams...so yea...have your eyes open everyone and keep your funds safe on Bitcoin.

if you (someone new to crypto) want to learn about crypto, best recommended way is just buy and invest in bitcoin instead of investing in a scam project. because bitcoin is definitely not a pyramid scheme.

Of course. While there are opportunities to create scam projects and fraudulent schemes, people will continue to do this, and at all levels, even the highest.
See how many high-ranking people, officials, and company executives get into fraud litigation. I'm not saying that they are all scammers, but somehow violated the law.

indeed it would be better if investing in bitcoin, and I agree with this compared to investing in new projects that have a big risk.
Sometimes choosing not to take a place that has a high risk will be better than betting on risk that we will not necessarily get a profit.

This is new year and i expect newbies to get smarter, be careful of new projects that are nothing but pyramid schemes, Multilevel marketing schemes or pyramid schemes may likewise be utilized to swindle crypto investors.
Don't expect too much for them because most of the newbies here are lazy to be honest because if they are not lazy then being scammed is impossible for them. Even a newbie who did a research regarding pyramid schemes will not get scammed.

Pyramid schemes are already there for a long time already and it is inevitable right now. As other investors said "There will be no scams if there are no investors who are ready to get scammed". If all of the investors know how to distinguish a scam project / scheme or not then they not get scammed by this stupid investors.

My advice?? Try to do some research first before investing.

The easiest way not to get victimized is to totally not invest on these kinds of projects if they offer a percentage, don't go for them if you need to promote and they promised you that you are going to earn from promoting their plan then don't go for it, remember OneCoin and Bitconnectcoin that's how they work.

It's one of their way to deceive and take advantage of people, they think that they can easily attracts people's attention. The problem is that people these days tend to trust and believe someone's word and promises without even analyzing the possible outcomes of their decisions. Aside from that, they choose to disregard considering their own experiences and doing own exploration even if it's going to be beneficial. They usually underestimate the power of research, they don't understand that they are just putting their funds at risk. It's the reason why we need to be cautious before making a certain action or decision because one mistake can have a huge impact on us. Investors should realized that fraudsters are always looking for an opportunity to deceive us and if they don't then they will just suffer the consequences of their actions.

Well, to make something like that dissapear i think is impossible. Because bitcoin itself can be used to anything that people want, and bitcoin can choose for what it will be used for. I think what we can do is educate others if that kind of business really have big risk, and they should avoid it or maybe if they really want to try it, they know the risk first.

maybe that's a complete explanation, but for beginners who might not quite understand the pyramid scheme, I have simple tips that might be used. at the start of the project launch, we will definitely see the white papper, the team, and others. well, there we can focus on scheduling the launch of tokens to market exchange, and more importantly is where their tokens will be launched?

and from here we can conduct research for exchangers, which is to learn which exchangers have high liquidity and which do not. because the liquidity of the exchanger is also very important in the effect of the next token price, because it will be related to the volume and market cap of the token. I will share some exchangers that in my opinion can be said to have high liquidity, namely forkdelta or etherdelta, binance, and yobit. The exchanger is very good for new tokens.

The problem in online earning, in general, is that most people want fast money and are just too lazy to do their research. This problem has also plagued the Crypto Industry as well, so now all the scammers are targetting us to get their hands on our hard-earned crypto. I no longer promote or join any passive type programs except for MPT, and that I not been promoting my link, I just have it as a side gig to make some extra readies. Otherwise, I am not joining any so-called coin MLMS or revshares or cyclers or HYIPs. HYIPS are the worse right now, as they try to show they are professional traders who are trading to give you two and three percent daily. This is all baloney in my books, steer well clear.

I agree with you but sometimes people ignore to think realistic before replace money, their dream more like reality than imagination. many people already said research first find the project detail, but most of newbie just say wasting time, lost money is risk and I can get new fresh fund from my real job to play, etc. When we hear that look like they underestimate safety program and see lost money is natural situation. We lost money because wrong analysis is natural but lost money because underestimate safety that's stupid.

Unfortunately, there will still be people who fall for both pyramid and ponzi schemes because none of them go out and tell you that they are ponzi or pyramid. Now I have never been a victim of any of them because I do not have any money to invest but if I did I would probably fall for one of them as well. They disguise their system as a legit business and explain to you how they are not pyramid as well, first red flag is if a place has to explain to you why they are not a pyramid scheme they are most definitely a pyramid scheme.

Ponzi is different, it could very well be a legit business that continues forever as long as they could find more and more money, hell I think wall street is a big huge ponzi for example and people still believe them, the ponzi that is bad is the one that can't find money. When wall street did a ponzi scheme, they got bailed out by the government, other ponzis do not get bail out, that is their difference from wall street.

Basically these projects look about the same and very often it is visible with the naked eye that this is a hoax, but for ordinary people and investors it looks normal, so for all newcomers and those who are not on the topic, I advise you to learn about the stuffing of the project from more experienced people.
There are a lot of new people who join the blockchain tech only due to their greed in order to have vast profits in small time. They might be the ones targeted and they usually get attracted to any such project who might be paying good for minimum hardworks in small time but those might end up being a bubble and if you really spend most of your capital on the scheme to find yourselves profits than you would be the one landing up in loss once the scheme is distressed.

So for newbies, it is always necessary to stay away from these kind of schemes as it is not even possible for them to make an immense research for the project before investing and actually, their greed eats them up.

Well they can invest in they know what they are doing or at least DYOR.

But the problem with most beginners right now is that they buy the hype and thinking that they can make easy money. But it is not the case, altcoins are still good, but you need to be very careful. I still prefer top ten altcoins so that the risk is not that big. As compare to those high risk high reward IEO/ICO, definitely not suited for beginners.

In the crypto world, there are too many scams. For newcomers, they like such scams more easily and are more exposed to them. We like to remind and teach people who have just entered the market how to stay away from such scams. In this way, the crypto market can develop more orderly. This is what we should do to let more people know about Bitcoin and blockchain technology.

These pyramid or MLM projects are always meant to carry a major promotion of the company. These schemes attract a lot of peoples and it creates higher demand for their company. But mostly, these schemes should be ignored as they give profits at the initial stage but they might stop paying their users after a specific time.

Mostly what I saw in MLM or pyramid projects was that they use the money collected from the downline to pay the upline so they do not really have to pay anything from the pocket but instead the chain keeps on running in the similar ways. This would be highly profitable for those projects but it would eat up the capital from the investors who were late to join the benefits.

Yep.this is ironic...
Almost everyone knows that t is impossible to get huge profits in a very short time
But greed make people blind and a convincing liar can make you give up almost everything you have.
To avoid this, be a smart investor, do in-depth research before deciding to invest and don't invest beyond your means.

Be carefull and be a smart crypto investor!

There is no time period where people will not fall for pyramid schemes, it has existed for over 100 years now and it will continue to exist forever.

I mean they do legit business pitches in sales and marketing with suits and professional looking offices, which invites maybe hundreds of people every single day yet even if they get 1 new people into the system it is better compared to zero. I have been to one of them for example because one of my idiot friends were convinced enough that this business was definitely! not a ponzi, dude was making so little amount of money per person they can enroll that I couldn't believe he would even bother to join in the first place but he did and invited me as well.

For all purposes, they looked like a regular business that asks for money for startup costs of you getting website and products etc so they don't start negative and then they gave you these things and told you to either sell them or find someone else who will sell them and take commission, I bailed out of course but it definitely looked like any other business in the world when looking from inside.

Honestly, back in the day when I was a newbie, I used to fall in this kind of scheme but luckily, I don't have that much money so they only got a few of my funds. Learning here is that before entering in a particular investment you should make a research first, take all the things you must know and always use your brain. It is easy to determine if the project is a totally fraud, it is very rare to see an investment that would give a double or triple reward so don't let them fool you otherwise it will be your loss. Just use your brain and follow your intuition that will make you fine.

At this point in time, anyone who has been into crypto for a while won't fall for scheme like this  because it's very easy to recognize no matter how well it's being designed. Crypto investment is ok that requires a lot of patience . Anyone that is offering to make it quick is obviously a scam. Newbies should beware
You would think that is the case but I have my doubts, the greed of people knows no limits and even when you try to explain to them why something is a scam they are not going to listen until they find out by themselves, one perfect example of this are icos many complain about not investing in the right ico and they think that is the reason they lost their money and they are trying to accumulate more money so the next time they can earn money by selecting the right coin, they do not understand that the whole problem was investing in any ico in the first place.

The community does not give their support to those projects in fact there are many users trying to find those Ponzi schemes and trying to protect people from it, the problem is that those investors always believe they are smarter than everyone else and that they have found a way to make money in the markets without too much effort and we know that never ends well, bitcoin allow us to be our own bank and it is time for people to not only accept the freedom that comes with it but to also accept the responsibility as well.
