Basically these projects look about the same and very often it is visible with the naked eye that this is a hoax, but for ordinary people and investors it looks normal, so for all newcomers and those who are not on the topic, I advise you to learn about the stuffing of the project from more experienced people.

I always avoid crypto investment that have referral system.  Though I do not hate this kind of strategy but because with this scheme there are lots of coins or tokens that will be released without supported funds and when it circulate in the market it will automatically devaluate the coins market.  Aside from that many scam company uses this kind of scheme to look for unsuspecting investors.  They blind their supporters by means of reward whenever they refer someone to invest in the project.

One of the most important elements of this market is to be diligent. You may have entered this market to generate passive income. But this is not a simple matter. You need to do a lot of research to create this easy gain.

Some were too good in creating schemes that will benefit them, that's why we need to be smarter to analyze whether it will only benefit them or will also be able to benefit us. Researching and studying it throughly whether the project we chose is good is really a must do, preferably before investing.
I think everyone who has been in cryptocurrency for a long time and invests in that knowledge, which is needed to observe and analyze a project before deciding to invest in it, maybe this is only needed by new people who are in cryptocurrency where they need to learn first before making a decision. But sometimes we still experience failure because what we think is not in accordance with what happened.

If it is your first time to invest not only in the crypto world but also in the real world, you should be careful, be an observant and also a smart one because people with less knowledge in business will more likely a victim of scamming schemes. Bwfore you invest look for a proof of legitimacy and legality in order to avoid crimes like scams inside and outside the crypto world.

Do you think scams will ever go away ? No! Scammers are just finding new ways in order to scam you of your money and cryptocurrencies are no exception when it comes to make quick money by just scamming people. I think just if we look closely at ICO's we can consider them scams...so yea...have your eyes open everyone and keep your funds safe on Bitcoin.

in other words, stop investing in a new project that pops up in various ways and methods through an ICO or IEO? I agree with that.

if you (someone new to crypto) want to learn about crypto, best recommended way is just buy and invest in bitcoin instead of investing in a scam project. because bitcoin is definitely not a pyramid scheme.

Of course. While there are opportunities to create scam projects and fraudulent schemes, people will continue to do this, and at all levels, even the highest.
See how many high-ranking people, officials, and company executives get into fraud litigation. I'm not saying that they are all scammers, but somehow violated the law.

indeed it would be better if investing in bitcoin, and I agree with this compared to investing in new projects that have a big risk.
Sometimes choosing not to take a place that has a high risk will be better than betting on risk that we will not necessarily get a profit.

of course they are still here  . what did you expect they will dissapear forever  ? nah it wont just happen no matter if how advance the technology are because  fraudsters will always cope up and find a  new method to scam again  . years wont matter too because there will always be newbies that enter here if the old newbie were now already pro   .  if you are concern and have time  , you can help hunt scammers and expose them on here or on the other platforms so that people are aware  .

Don't expect too much for them because most of the newbies here are lazy to be honest because if they are not lazy then being scammed is impossible for them. Even a newbie who did a research regarding pyramid schemes will not get scammed.

Pyramid schemes are already there for a long time already and it is inevitable right now. As other investors said "There will be no scams if there are no investors who are ready to get scammed". If all of the investors know how to distinguish a scam project / scheme or not then they not get scammed by this stupid investors.

My advice?? Try to do some research first before investing.

The easiest way not to get victimized is to totally not invest on these kinds of projects if they offer a percentage, don't go for them if you need to promote and they promised you that you are going to earn from promoting their plan then don't go for it, remember OneCoin and Bitconnectcoin that's how they work.

It's one of their way to deceive and take advantage of people, they think that they can easily attracts people's attention. The problem is that people these days tend to trust and believe someone's word and promises without even analyzing the possible outcomes of their decisions. Aside from that, they choose to disregard considering their own experiences and doing own exploration even if it's going to be beneficial. They usually underestimate the power of research, they don't understand that they are just putting their funds at risk. It's the reason why we need to be cautious before making a certain action or decision because one mistake can have a huge impact on us. Investors should realized that fraudsters are always looking for an opportunity to deceive us and if they don't then they will just suffer the consequences of their actions.

Well, to make something like that dissapear i think is impossible. Because bitcoin itself can be used to anything that people want, and bitcoin can choose for what it will be used for. I think what we can do is educate others if that kind of business really have big risk, and they should avoid it or maybe if they really want to try it, they know the risk first.

maybe that's a complete explanation, but for beginners who might not quite understand the pyramid scheme, I have simple tips that might be used. at the start of the project launch, we will definitely see the white papper, the team, and others. well, there we can focus on scheduling the launch of tokens to market exchange, and more importantly is where their tokens will be launched?

and from here we can conduct research for exchangers, which is to learn which exchangers have high liquidity and which do not. because the liquidity of the exchanger is also very important in the effect of the next token price, because it will be related to the volume and market cap of the token. I will share some exchangers that in my opinion can be said to have high liquidity, namely forkdelta or etherdelta, binance, and yobit. The exchanger is very good for new tokens.

The problem in online earning, in general, is that most people want fast money and are just too lazy to do their research. This problem has also plagued the Crypto Industry as well, so now all the scammers are targetting us to get their hands on our hard-earned crypto. I no longer promote or join any passive type programs except for MPT, and that I not been promoting my link, I just have it as a side gig to make some extra readies. Otherwise, I am not joining any so-called coin MLMS or revshares or cyclers or HYIPs. HYIPS are the worse right now, as they try to show they are professional traders who are trading to give you two and three percent daily. This is all baloney in my books, steer well clear.

I agree with you but sometimes people ignore to think realistic before replace money, their dream more like reality than imagination. many people already said research first find the project detail, but most of newbie just say wasting time, lost money is risk and I can get new fresh fund from my real job to play, etc. When we hear that look like they underestimate safety program and see lost money is natural situation. We lost money because wrong analysis is natural but lost money because underestimate safety that's stupid.

I dont except people to still fall for pyramid schemes. Ponzis aren't hard to spot. With through research you can tell if an investment scheme is ponzi or not, it doesntt matter how hard they try to cover it. Newbies don't take time to research and that's where the problems lies.

Unfortunately, there will still be people who fall for both pyramid and ponzi schemes because none of them go out and tell you that they are ponzi or pyramid. Now I have never been a victim of any of them because I do not have any money to invest but if I did I would probably fall for one of them as well. They disguise their system as a legit business and explain to you how they are not pyramid as well, first red flag is if a place has to explain to you why they are not a pyramid scheme they are most definitely a pyramid scheme.

Ponzi is different, it could very well be a legit business that continues forever as long as they could find more and more money, hell I think wall street is a big huge ponzi for example and people still believe them, the ponzi that is bad is the one that can't find money. When wall street did a ponzi scheme, they got bailed out by the government, other ponzis do not get bail out, that is their difference from wall street.
