Great exchange, but unless you include NXT, you wont be considered one of the 'important' exchanges.

The thing about BTC38 it started well and had high requirements for coins to be added, then just started adding coins that didn't meet this criteria  :(

Great exchange, but unless you include NXT, you wont be considered one of the 'important' exchanges.

Nxt is a premined scam. I wouldnt consider any exchange a honest exchange if they trade nxt.

I like BTC38 cause they don't have scam coins.

the day they add scam coins like Aurora or Vert, will be the day I stop using it. :)

May I suggest adding CGB (CryptoGenic Bullion)?

It's been around since june 2013, and has a great and steady growing community. It's clearly not a pump and dump coin which is going to be abandoned!

CGB's specs:
- Proof of Work/Proof of Stake Hybrid
- Scrypt
- Linear difficulty retarget (every 2 blocks)
- 5 Confirms
- 60 Second block time
- 10 Bullion per block (1st 55k blocks)
- Subsidy halving after every 50k blocks until reward of 0.01 is reached were it will remain in perpituity
- ~1,000,000 CryptogenicBullion with 0.5% annual PoW inflation
- 1.5 % Annual PoS

For more info see:
http://cgb.holdings/
http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptogenicBullion/
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=245086.0

Or contact the founder: elambert (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=104781)

Thanks for your consideration!

CGB should be added definately. Solid and robust 'precious metal-'coin that serious investors like to add to the portfolio.

How is vertcoin a scam? 0% premine and decent size community from the start, i.e. more broadly distributed than most other coins, including btc and ltc.

Hey!

I would like to ask if it is possible to add Feathercoin (FTC) on your exchange.

FTC/BTC
FTC/CNY

Feathercoin is one of the older Altcoins, founded in 2013.

Constant development ongoing.

Development Overview Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=649737.0

If you got any questions, feel free to ask me via PM or directly in our Forum: forum.feathercoin.com (http://forum.feathercoin.com)

Exchange with the most Volume right now is Cryptsy.

Would be great to hear a positive response.

Regards,
ChekaZ

Please consider adding Monero to your exchange.

Over the last year Monero has been the #1 volume coin on Poloniex.

Many of your customers who value privacy will be interested in trading XMR

Going to also ask that ShadowCash be added.

    The Shadow Project has:

    - Cryptonote implementation on a pos bitcoin fork, and utilizing a token system where coins can switch between and anonymous and transparent state, the only one like it.
          - The first coin to open-source a stealth address system, which many others have since taken advantage of.
    - One of the nicest wallets in the industry, which makes use of HTML.
    - Encrypted messaging in wallet
    - A very large and very active Dev-team, with both full and part-time members
    - Solid distribution

    And also in development is:
    - HD wallet
    - Mobile wallet with anon send
    - A decentralized p2p marketplace

It is one of the best and most underrated projects in cryptography, and it clearly deserves to be added.

    why doesn't btc38 support https?

    when i use https://btc38.com i get
    Code:
The certificate is only valid for the following names: 66option.com, news.33option.com, www.66option.com, www.33option.com, 33option.com

    And afterwards:
    Code:
    503 Service Unavailable

Maybe it's time to upgrade the cert?
Using an unencrypted connection to trade on an exchange is a nogo imo.

I would never consider trading there. Actually, there are two major issues:
=> lack of an SSL certificate can get you robbed in no time  ???
=> supports only login with a facebook account, therefore your privacy and security are words without meaning  ???

    BTC38 is a big NO-NO!

The "support" link on http://www.btc38.com/trade_en.html is broken
    "Service Center - Open a Ticket(recommend)" - no. Kaputt.

My issue is this, also sent as PM.
(But btc38 has not posted for 11 months (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=262888;sa=showPosts), and has not logged in since October. Is he dead?)

    Please help with API access

    opening
    Code:
    http://api.btc38.com/v1/depth.php?c=btc&mk_type=cny
    in the browser works fine.

But opening it via PYTHON I get a 403 and a "hack" error message.

This is the code to reproduce it:

    Code:
import requests # pip install requests
        r=requests.get("http://api.btc38.com/v1/depth.php?c=btc&mk_type=cny")
        print r.status_code

        fn="btc38_error.html"
        with open(fn, "w") as f:
            f.write(answer.encode('utf-8'))

The answer I get is this one:

    Quote

The exchange is down for 6 hours now.
No way to contact them. No news.

Also, They started to move all their funds to another wallets 6 hours ago, for example:
    BTS: https://cryptofresh.com/u/btc38-btsx-octo-727222
    NXT: https://mynxt.info/account/NXT-S4U4-CQYX-WD4K-76REZ
    NEM: http://chain.nem.ninja/#/search/NA5PXB-3KOIEQ-R3XLS6-QHPNXZ-Z5LMLC-JTGZJM-BKTQ

No movement from the new wallets since.
I'm watching it. I had a lot of funds on the exchange.

Let's hope they are just migrating to a new infrastructure (their site has been pretty slow and unresponsive for long) and not stealing us.

The main site is up, only from some regions in the world.
I still hope it's only temporally problem and we'll get our funds back.
BTC38 was the largest altcoin exchange for some main alts
Like LTC, Doge, BTS, BLK, NXT, XEM, SYS, XPM, XCN...
and there are unique alts that was traded only there.
It will be a huge loss to all the crypto community if something happened to it.

    I already tried it.
Every minute the site is up and down for a few seconds for different country.
    Anyway, I can't connect +
All their hot wallets was emptied when the exchange went down.

There were some threads opened on reddit:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/5jjt40/does_anyone_have_some_info_whats_going_on_with

I'm taking all the info from my personal records, not google.

I have their Stellar Cold wallet:
    https://stellarchain.io/address/GB2Y4SUXOWSTXHTL7QVNGGK3Y6IOMUGHDB3ZICWJN2EJ2PJHORWS3LG4
They moved all the funds from their hot wallet (GBQT7MI67FFSZFKSCVJIGKTW5HGHN35X7XXNO6CJM5DH2DUPBKLOZE6X)
to the cold wallet 3 hours ago!

    Their Ripple hot wallet:
    rfKeuNcxyuKRK8QH5VmcxKfsVgPdSxwGpj
    Ripple cold wallet:
    rrh7hCF6LBymdaL8VHaZNEhcyUWZxi3y54
    (Use https://charts.ripple.com/#/graph to browse)

    Doge cold wallet:

    BTS Hot wallet:
    https://cryptofresh.com/u/btc38btsxwithdrawal

    Nem wallet:
    http://chain.nem.ninja/#/search/NA5PXB-3KOIEQ-R3XLS6-QHPNXZ-Z5LMLC-JTGZJM-BKTQ
    And now: http://chain.nem.ninja/#/account/NBRUUI57CIEUFQJQ3EUWHLXDH56CKSEK6PYTU2FB

    and now: https://mynxt.info/account/NXT-M43V-VNFT-378Y-35GVW

    BTS Cold wallet:
    https://cryptofresh.com/u/btc38-btsx-octo-72722
    and now:  https://cryptofresh.com/u/btsx-bitshare

About Bitcoin, it's hard to tell,
but I see that most of my transactions from the last weeks
    goes to these addresses:
    1DcP1wDHBRyNAP6rqB9dkiizhFtoCJUNX7
    19usyBbVntKdHxcpHmpntuYtFWKXwStpuj
    1EzeQCwNu4XUHMVb5tnix56PSfN5PdeKbu

    1AkbKSqho42uT1qw7PcNtNUu3ZjYFdT8rU
    1EeUTzVwsjvXvk8uxtPguVdnrSSDx1snKH

I can look for LTC, Dash, BLK, PPC, XPM, NMC in my history + the blockchains,
but it's a hard digging work.
As you can see, I used the exchange a lot.
And I also have a lot of funds there.

They're holding hundreds of millions of dollars of user funds,
and if they disappear, it will be about mtgox size disaster (not bitfinex).
and the irony here is: Nobody talking about it at all!!!

Thanks, although I thought they would have announced it on twitter there are no tweets about it yet. If there's only 1000 bitcoins missing its better than the entire 10000 bitcoins they were holding going missing.

I also can't login from my home ip,
But the site worked with my 3G connection until now.
Now I discovered that it's because I already was connected from my phone on my way home,
And now I logged out from my phone (I thought it will help my home connection),
And I can't login again from it.
I have a lot of funds on the exchange and there is no way to contact them.

There is 1 hope - I opened a ticket about this case from my phone before I disconected,
maybe they will fix it. I really hope they do.
I have open orders in not so good placment,
Stuck deposits, and a lot of fund.

    After a night without sleeping,
and a morning of phone calls to +86-755-66800383
Finally I found someone who speak English there, Ken,
Who gave me his personal email address ken@yooyet.com
I described the problem with screenshots,
and now the "engineers are resolving..." as they say :)

    So now we can relax.

    * He also suggested to use a browser called 'baidu' that solves a lot of problems with btc38,
But this time the problem is general and this browser is not helping.

Is the other websites like poloinex or shapeshift banned in china? Why would anyone use btc38 instead of a good exchange is beyond me . Is it like its chinese, I am chinese, I should use this type of national thing?

I would never touch an exchange who says 7-15 days withdrawal with a 10 feet pole. Try to keep away from the shady looking business in bitcoin World guys because if it looks shady, it probably is in bitcoin business.

Yeah after how many days? Also considering the withdrawal times and the regulations, it still doesnt seem like a good idea to trade with them. I mean if the other websites are banned and you are stuck with them, maybe yeah. If you can use the others tough, no need for these type of limitations.

It appears there is a long wait period. Like 5 days or so?

It takes several hours to deposit too... and they award 101% of your deposit which means they might do some sort of arbitrage with your coin before you get it.
I haven't successfully withdrawn because 1 litecoin is the minimum and I didn't meet that with my test transfer.

Opened a ticket yesterday about it, waiting for more than 24 hours and 2000+ tickets before me.

You can also send an email to ken@yooyet.com, the only person there I know who speaks English: Ken.
He always answers after a few hours from his phone even.

It's enough for it to not be an outright scam but "not so bad" is something I'd beg to differ on.

Chinese are used to a lot of authoritarian shit like this but as a red blooded American it makes my skin crawl that one would be disallowed access to funds which are capable of transferring within less than one minute for a full week and a half.

I will update when there is a resolution. I think you're right - they want people to convert to a coin that is not BTC/LTC and withdraw from there. Can't really blame them. You CAN blame the Chinese government.

Converting to another coin before withdrawing is fine. It's better than losing everything. I just wish they would come out and say that.

that's was the way i did it, buy another alt coin, transfer them to other exchange, sell it for btc

the hard part was to make sure the price of altcoin i buy, at least same or lower price. since at btc38 cny market more active than btc market.

I've received my BTC now. It all has to do with the regulations in place. I would say your best bet is to just do the transfer to another stable coin and sell elsewhere. The exchange itself at BTC38 has always been reliable for me it's just not fun when you can't get your BTC or LTC in timely fashion.

They did not state any daily withdraw limit on the site. Daily withdraw limit is about 0.2btc per day? If I knew the daily limit, I wouldn't deposit my coins. Wow. And they don't even answer the phone. Also, the ticket system takes about 2days to get an answer and didn't even answered my question. What a worst exchange ever.

    "crypto to crypto trading" ??

They have no crypto/crypto pairs, and the crypto/btc pairs are disabled in the last month.
All the 30 crypto/cny pairs are working, but not for the 'facebook login' users  :'(

    Anyway, it already happened before.
Facebook changed their api 2 days ago,
and now it will take a few days for btc38 to adjust their platform.
I still have hope that my funds are safe there.
Yesterday the "Facebook Error" disappeared and instead, it redirects me back to the main page with the "Login/Reg" button.
It means that somebody is working on it (Hopefully).

When (if) the exchange will return, I'll consider to withdraw all my funds. The lack of communication is not acceptable.
I know they don't have people who answer phone/email and know English,
but they have a few people who answer tickets in English, and there are no tickets in English in the last days (because nobody can login to open one...),
So what are they doing? Took a vacation? >:(

2.5 days without access to my funds, it's not funny anymore.
I tried to contact the Admin (tame@vip.qq.com and 124777328@qq.com), No answer so far.
I also sent email to Ken, the one person that I know in their building who really speaks English (ken@yooyet.com).
He works on the floor above BTC38 and can speak with the btc38 stuff there, He helped me before, but no answer so far.
8 hours from now they start their working day, I'll call to +86-755-66800383 with a small hope to find someone who can understand the problem in English.

    Update:
Tame, The BTC38 Admin, is responding to emails right now (tame@vip.qq.com)

After I tried my best to explain the problem, He wrote me back:
"sorry. I can not understand what is your problem. do you mean you forgot you account?"
It seems that they are not aware of the problem at all :'(

Please, can somebody explain him the problem, maybe my English is not good enough.
    Thank you.

"Oh. sorry. we are checking the problem. if you are anxious to buy or sell your coin. you can download a QQ APP from APP store or Android market. then you register a new account and I will transfer your Balance to you fisrt".

It seems that Tame is using google translate like all of the stuff there.
I'm still asking people here to contact Tame at tame@vip.qq.com
and try to explain the problem in their words. It can only help.

    Now:

yeah btc38 is a famous exchange platform in China, but recently no new coins get listed on this platform which has a great community in my opinion.

Yes, but not only no new coins will be listed on this platform, maybe some coins that have been listed will be delisted later because of the Chinese regulations of ICO and crypto currencies.

As soon as I made the tranz - they changed the purse for the deposit)))) I did a check tranz on a new wallet. TxId: 0x194355c8c7890f7c673b425af286a5752405b33494b41a0f21486cc99044d4a9. Passed, ETH credited to the account. Before that, I often got ETH on my account at b38 and everything was perfectly credited. Throwed from the same purse as in all transits 0xFBb1b73C4f0BDa4f67dcA266ce6Ef42f520fBB98. But what about those money lol? There, 0.64695572 Ether, no matter how , it's a pity. I asked for something to understand. They wrote that the engineer solving. Today writed that this is not their wallet in the first trance))))) Well, I wrote that I will describe the situation on the forums with evidence that they are liars and thieves. Here they are. With the help of not cunning analysts we pass to both purses. https://etherchain.org/account/0xa867e97b2027e05f3ec30042d6953c13597ef7d7#txreceived is the first one, which they telling is not theirs. We look where the money goes from it further. https://etherchain.org/account/0xdba370a2803f0826e5a4efccbd8d5c86517ac960 - here. And already from the last in the purported cool wallet ETH from BTC38 (which by the way is not specified why on the site) 0x296E781Bbb0179b032CBCC31E4B6cDaB724b2773 (well, or one of). Lets remember the purse.
We return to my wallet from where I made all the transits to China. I threw my account btc38 here https://etherchain.org/account/0x9f94daccd1cab1306a52dc08cd72e5c0949fd176#txreceived, from where everything was safely credited to the internal account of the exchange and everything was okay. We look where the money goes from the last purse :) 0xa82657936ceA2D34F3918539B87d35fC1307F6F1 here, and from there, as you all think already guessed to the cold store 0x296E781Bbb0179b032CBCC31E4B6cDaB724b2773.
It is a pity did not make a screenshot when the first time translated, I did not think that such nonsense is possible at all. But as we see, the detachment very well helps in exposing all such schemes. Another accomplish this situation on bitcoin sense, I'll give the admins a link let them read what they are thieves. To be honest, I'm already counting on the return of funds. Lets see how tehy will reply for this and explain why ETH from first wallet, which is not their, came to same at last as ETH which were credited to 100% their wallet.
Thank you for your attention, be vigilant.

Did you open a ticket? I have had many problems with deposits not being credited or withdrawals not being sent out over the years, but they always fixed it when i opened a ticket. Their system in the english version website is like from the 1990's --- but it works! I always get a response in 24 hours or less (albeit in hard-to-decipher google translated english, ha). I'll take that any day over 4 months for a response from Poloniex. So sad to see them closing down :(

So.. I purchase a bunch of Ripple last year Feb 1st 2016. Approx. $25 worth when the price was around $.006. about 4100 XRP

Figured if it ever reached $1, it would be a good time to cash some in for other alt coins. Also, at the time it for some reason I decided to do this via BTC38.com... Got busy, moved, involved in other projects etc...

I see now that it appears they shut down.

Is there anyway, at all, in order to transfer or obtain the XRP I purchased through them last year?

On this page it says you can transfer funds to the AEX exchange. Unfortunately I don't know exactly how it works. Perhaps AEX could explain it.
