They're holding hundreds of millions of dollars of user funds,
and if they disappear, it will be about mtgox size disaster (not bitfinex).
and the irony here is: Nobody talking about it at all!!!

Doubt, their volume was not big last year. It could be compared with cryptsy not mtgox.
Proly there are some talks on china forums?

The exchange is down for 6 hours now.
No way to contact them. No news.

Also, They started to move all their funds to another wallets 6 hours ago, for example:

I'm watching it. I had a lot of funds on the exchange.

any link to btc cold wallet? or to another cold wallets? they had list of cold wallets but i can't google it now, even in cashe

They say they have 10541 bitcoins combined from all their users, although they don't give a cold storage address.

Accoing reserves page all cold wallets are safe, there are no transactions from them. What ever happend it happend with several hot wallets.

Their site's not loading properly for me, it's only partially loading. The orders aren't loading in the order book and neither are the site's images in the English version.

Thanks, although I thought they would have announced it on twitter there are no tweets about it yet. If there's only 1000 bitcoins missing its better than the entire 10000 bitcoins they were holding going missing.

Thank god. Well actually I trust BTC38 more than Poloniex. The site is a def rough looking but most of the time everything runs smoother and the wallets work better than polo. Also I can get someone to answer my support questions in an hour instead of 48 hours.

waiting for pending withdrawl due to chinese policy, you can receive your btc after 7-15 days (so sad to know), after 12 days of waiting the site seems weird..
lost 1.86 BTC  , help!

I also can't login from my home ip,
But the site worked with my 3G connection until now.
Now I discovered that it's because I already was connected from my phone on my way home,
And now I logged out from my phone (I thought it will help my home connection),
And I can't login again from it.
I have a lot of funds on the exchange and there is no way to contact them.

There is 1 hope - I opened a ticket about this case from my phone before I disconected,
maybe they will fix it. I really hope they do.
I have open orders in not so good placment,
Stuck deposits, and a lot of fund.

After a night without sleeping,
and a morning of phone calls to +86-755-66800383
Finally I found someone who speak English there, Ken,
Who gave me his personal email address ken@yooyet.com
I described the problem with screenshots,
and now the "engineers are resolving..." as they say

So now we can relax.

* He also suggested to use a browser called 'baidu' that solves a lot of problems with btc38,
But this time the problem is general and this browser is not helping.

Is the other websites like poloinex or shapeshift banned in china? Why would anyone use btc38 instead of a good exchange is beyond me . Is it like its chinese, I am chinese, I should use this type of national thing?

I would never touch an exchange who says 7-15 days withdrawal with a 10 feet pole. Try to keep away from the shady looking business’ in bitcoin World guys because if it looks shady, it probably is in bitcoin business’.
