the content development industry has really me its match when it comes to the crypto space as loads of platforms now offer to even pay per view depending on the terms. I think, this is indeed  a revolution and I am proud to be associated with it. Nice one by the team and more updates on the list of decentralized content platform.

Well, it is a good way to promote the project and also come with the ideas of competing YouTube. However, YouTube still becomes the best channel to make, upload, and also get al videos easily, very easy. Moreover, YouTube has been one of the media that we can gain to get earning.
Can you tell me what is the benefits using that channel than YouTube besides giving free cryptocurrency? If it relates to the free crypto to get, is the coin worthy and has been listed on an exchange?

This is not the first time I have seen a project like this but I guess this one has more success and already listed on binance. I haven't registered yet, just curious viewers can earn in this platform also?
We can always says that this is better than youtube because its decentralized but youtube is already popular it has so much users and advertisers so many partners around the world. I guess it is the most profitable video platforms as of now but who knows what is the future of cos tv but having a giant competitor is challenging.

I remember this project and I used it but only briefly because I think there are very few users, but if there is a promotion to enlarge the community and users I think the platform will be used a lot, and it looks like it is more appropriate to promote crypto compared to the others.

I use Youtube because it has billions of videos, it has all the greatest content creators and I'm subscribed to dozens of channels, it has a decent algorithm for recommending me interesting videos based on my past viewing history. How is a new platform going to trump all that? Am I supposed to like it because it has "blockchain"? I don't care about how it runs, if its decentralized or not, all I want is good content.

About the rewards they are only given thier own coin right is it tradeable already ? If this one is tradebale where ? (If not you should list it first to exchange so it can easily attract new users to register and join.

I absolutely agree with this. Almost all of the alternatives to YouTube I've seen in the past few years, even non-blockchain related ones, usually have a severe lack of content in many areas that YouTube covers, and even though I do like to support blockchain related services whenever possible, it can be hard to find what you want even despite the small incentives you might receive from watching videos.

I'll still be checking in on the price of this coin in the near future and further developments even if I do not use the platform at all, though. Nothing's quite managed to beat YouTube yet, but any attempts are welcome. I don't support a lot of YouTube's policies, but they're the best by a massive margin at the moment IMO.

I had seen this before that there was video sites who given coins or money to the people who watching the videos but eventually this sites lack of interest and disappears and compare to youtube when millions of people watching the videos through them i don't think people will switch their habit but as this is coin projects which is OP says already listed on coinmarketcap and the exchange so i think soon maybe will trade the coins directly instead of watching video

Yes, pretty interesting information. It's nice to see someone trying to compete with such a famous resource as YouTube. However, all the big projects started small. Moreover, Cos.tv is associated with cryptocurrency and will work on the principles of decentralization. True, if you pay with cryptocurrency for watching a video, it looks more like a temporary ad than a good long-term one.

The only alternative for Youtube might be Netflix. :D

It's good to know that such step is being taken towards that area. The truth is, it will be hard for people to let go of YouTube but if the team within this project will work hard and remain true to their goals, objectives and road map then gradually they will start attracting the right attention, a look at steemit says it all. From the look of things, it is still in beta version that is to say not in full potential yet, however the team still have a lot of work to do but owing to the fact there is reward for users that means people will at least give it a trial and from there might get involved.

This is a good idea and a good way of disrupting the online video or streaming industry. There have been other projects alike and one of such that I know of is VERASITY. I think bot Contentos and Verasity came almost at the same time.
There could be so many decentralized content platforms, but the most important thing is having a well-developed platform, only through that can they overcome the centralized platforms.

Do not forget the fact that, a lot of people are used to centralized content platforms and they enjoy it, so we should be able to make them enjoy it more.

To make myself obeying you, you must have given me free access to netflix and amazon originals and for everything such similar services. I mean to say, to stop using yourtube, you must have an amazing platform which is better than youtube but I doubt your platform will be matching with the expectation of most of the people here.

This is first time, I come across a project namely contentos. Let me bookmark you so that I may follow up regularly. I guess there are 100s of competitors on web for youtube already. Some smart people already had decided not to fight against yourtube hence they are doing web-series in youtube to make money. Let's wait and watch where this project will be heading from now onward.

Decentralized video sharing platform should strive to be proper decentralized version of YouTube, especially in the area of simplicity, ease of use, useful contents. YouTube has lots of useful contents. And I believe if useful contents are encouraged/rewarded more and are easy to find, content creators will be encouraged to create them.

Everyone will be interested to use it if the the fees are good enough for the users to try but if your offer is good as faucet sites payment then you can hardly find some to use and help market your site.

There are many projects out there that do this kind of tricks but as you can see YouTube is a very popular site and it cannot be replaced easily especially if the owner of the site will not put a good amount of budget in paying the users. Marketing is very hard if you will only pay a very little amount of money but I will try it and see whether it is good enough for starters or newbies.

I'll believe in this project, but not too much. Youtube already has its throne since 2009 and that's way a lot of years to maintain that reputation. I would require to watch the price of the coin before I can say that I would dip my feet into the waters.
Just I observed lately that many crypto coins have their specific way of earning their coins, like BAT from using Brave Browser. Well I am not here to compare platforms as they have their own uniqueness.

This is a good step on the right direction, a "blockchain-like-youtube" platform. This is really a good one and we need more this type of innovations that will make people develop more interest in blockchain platforms. One of the feature I found appealing is the fact there is reward when certian activities are carried out. Although the platform is still in beta testing, and therefore there is likely to be bugs, but at least is shows that a new thing or a new platform is about to be experienced in this space. Also, owing to the competition which lies ahead, the team will need to put in more hard work to ensure they keep winning.

There are just more people in youtube where an aspiring marketing specialist will have his dream audience than in any platform where only a handful of users in it, even the COS reviews are in youtube. But COS seem very impressive since it started with a very low price and listed in binance.

Although this is good in fact one of the things we are clamouring for that is, use case yet it will still be difficult for people to abandon YouTube now. At least this project is still in its infancy therefore a lot of improvements is needed to prove the platform worthy and this depends greatly on the team as well as the community members. Youtube allows us to upload videos coming from creative commons and from videos on Youtube that was marked by the uploader as creative commons, is it possible on this video sharing platform to upload videos that are marked as creative commons, I cannot find any information on the site.

Hmm, seems to me you enjoy being serf class and having your thoughts and speech monitored and controlled. Youtube has banned thousands of channels the past three years. The majority of those channels were simply opinions that go against the Neolib establishment. Every single day without fail there is a culling of channels. They are protecting their pals - the Dinosaur legacy media which I have no doubt you watch. as well as their political allies. Google is a major threat to liberty. They already act as massive censors and of course, they apply those principles to Youtube. YT must be destroyed one way or another.

I think people have the right to choose what they want to do, especially if it's related to the internet. I am sure that there is so many websites like youtube, and every website like that have their advantage. People will select what website they will use to upload their video no matter if the website offers free crypto or not because that is related to the comfortability that people can get from the website. Actually there is an existing platform that similar to this platform namely brave browsure. You can earn Basic Attention Token through the platform if you are a content creator like you made some article or even you make a content on your youtube channel. Later you will be paid monthly from the platform, have you try it? All of us want to see good content and Youtube will totally provide those content. Don't debate about you tube, this platform only use currency and crypto can make their business collapse. This is interesting platform even I must say where is proof of payment and do we need KYC still can't found the real information. This is actually pretty interesting. It has potential to grow just like vimeo but I doubt it when it comes to Youtube. I wonder how they will handle advertisement or ad revenue? or they are planning to reward creators and users with just their token? I will not stop using Youtube, everything are all here, I can add this platform but like you I also have no idea where can I use POP when it is not listed in the market, there's also lack of information on how to make a profit her, but they do have a potential but it will need massive marketing.

There are more decentralized platforms like Dtube, Steemit, Publish0x, but the question is if the tokens that they are using are really needed. Now I am not talking about decentralized nature of platforms, but the tokens are useless, you can replace them easily by using Bitcoin Lightning Network.

I just checked out the site and it’s a good site from what I have seen, though it’s still in its beta stage. Like I said, it’s a good site but you can’t compare it to YouTube when it comes to availability of contents. There are lots of contents that you can find on YouTube than you will ever find on any other platform.

YouTube has been around for a very long time and it’s owned by Google which is the number one search engine in the world, that means no other platforms will be able to compete with it. I’m not saying Cos.tv is a not a good platform, it’s good, I have also seen another platform that is decentralized and similar to it here, but I still prefer over them. The only business I have with cryptocurrency is with Bitcoin.

POP seems to be the site specific credit system without any value. The only thing possible to do with POP at the moment is to buy lottery tickets which may make you win or not.
Basically, there's no reward for the users to view the videos or ads but I believe decentralized streaming services are going to be the future of our online video streaming as youtube, the popular streaming site keeps a large chunk of profit generated from ads to themselves leaving a little to the content creators and none to viewers.

This is very cool and I think this project shares the same thing with buzzshow that is recently listed on cointiger but I think this one is fully developed and might go a long way than buzzshow. Getting the project listed on Binance is not easy and this might have been possible due to a successful review of the project. I think the next thing they need to do is massive marketing and promotions so that there will be an awareness by internet users especially those YouTubers that makes videos

Over the past week, many YouTube cryptocurrency channels that belonged to my friends have been blocked. this centralized platform doing very wrong things. they remove channels when they want. this is a problem of centralized sites and we definitely need an alternative where people can talk freely about everything

This is a really interesting project. But it will not be easy to give up YouTube, because almost everyone uses it. There is a huge amount of video and so far there are no competitors for it.

I don't see anything wrong with Youtube and the need to stop it because there is a new one coming up. people have grown up using Youtube as a resource and entertainment and I don't see anything on these new platform, that can give us something better than Youtube when in reality they do not have something new to offer.

I think that before abandoning youtube, users should be presented not just a good resource, but a resource that would surpass YouTube many times in many ways.  I'm not sure that all users will be able to abandon youtube, even if some kind of alternative appears.  I believe that people who create such resources should primarily work on their projects and create healthy competition in the market of quality information in order to enable users to determine the resource that they need and need.

Most important resource for platform like OP mentioned would be the mass amount of community to generate a decent traffic onto the platform. I am sure that the whole and sole income of such platforms would be from displaying various advertisements similar to youtube ads but the project mentioned by OP would need a lot of viewers in order to generate a decent income from displaying the ads.

Youtube is been dominating the markers since a long time and I am sure that any newly launched similar project would also needs years to get started with. This might never be an easy task. You need to show huge benefits for the people so that they could stop using YouTube and shift onto your platform to browse various videos.

Are you really comparing your project with youtube? YouTube is already much grown and has a number of viewers globally. You would need years to develop your platform and make it publicly similar to youtube. I liked the concept that we would be paid for each video we view or any channel we subscribe but I am not sure if that platform would have a variety of videos like YouTube has.

There needs to be a lot of people who are willing to upload their video on your platform so that it can turn out to be a useful platform and then I am sure that many people would browse onto that platform to find reliable information. But at the initial stage it might not really be good to directly compare with youtube.

I believe it will never happen to make those people will be stopping from use youtube but at least they can try to use that platform to give a small support in the development of crypto. Well I see that the objective is more likely with YouTube but the instance is that the project is paying the subscribers which is the contrary of what the YouTube itself is doing in which the creator or the owner of the channel is being paid for having a lots of watch time or number of views per video. Both are a good platform to watch video for me so why stop using YouTube and just focus on one when you can do use both whenever you feel like you wanted to use them. We must not embody competition on those two platforms which aims entertainment for the audience. Well both have unique features apart from each other which is a good point but it does not clarify why in need to stop using YouTube when the platform being advertised seems to be working like YouTube as well. The only difference is that it is crypto based and paying the audience for watching and subscribing into their channel.

The Beta platform are nice and good, but of course I am much comfortable with Youtube not because I have a channel with but of course there are lot of people now watching movies, entertainment, business, travel and more on this one. And besides in youtube you can also have a chance to earn in the future as well too.

Use it as backup, just upload there as u do on youtube :D
