The picture and emojis made me smile, but then I realized why some people may actually be buying up the toilet papers. I guess to wipe things they share with others , and not necessarily due to the other reasons I have seen people give online... Maybe that's main intention of those who started the toilet paper idea, but many people misunderstood it and start copying anyway.

I will hopefully watch this thread once in awhile for any good opportunity in the casino tournament.

I just registered for the tournament, so there are four of us now.

The timing is perfect for me, and I think 1h. 30 min. of late registration is really helpful for those for whom it's too early.

It is 4pm UTC and it has late registration for 1.5 hours, if you think you'd be busy until that time I guess you won't be able to play the tourney. There's still room for the next match maybe by that time you'll be free from busyness.

I was in, i am shipdachips. I linped KK hoping to catch someone getting silly and I did. Cehee open jammed kq and of course flop comes j9 rag, turn junk, river 10 for the straight. Put me low in chips so I shoved 66 or 55, I don't remember.

Hey guys, there is still time to join the last longer bet as well. Currently only 3 of us in, only costs .001btc to join.

For those of you who may not know the understanding of the side bet, it means everyone that joins the bet the last person left in the tourney  wins the whole side pot.

@Figmentofmyass I would ask that you make the rules clear on joining the last longer bet, users must pay before tourney starts and join tourney before it starts. Would be unfair for someone to late reg last minute and 2 guys already out.

cool, i've received buy-ins from SyGambler and tyKiwanuka. 0.004 BTC pool for the side bet so far.

I am in for the tourney and side bet. Just deposited some btc to the site and trying to find my way around. Is there some way to filter tournaments? Yesterday I sow our tournament without problems and today after money arrived I have a shitload of tournaments available all with some plant names and numbers :)

For side bet I go to Cashier-transfer and send 1000 chips to FOMA 777, all caps with space or? I just tried that and it said to me player not found.

Well, you've got the last longer bet motivation, I guess that's the one that will refrain you to make those rush decisions. See you around on 23 hrs. on the SwC table, I might expect it will be same as before that participants will be registering late and now we got 8 players count me in on that to 9.

I might invite people on local next tourney if they'll interested to join on this tourney, even 2 to 3 people might make a difference on the coming tourneys if they can invite on their own.

From my experience, the probability of such an event is pretty low. So, I will be more than happy to give away 0.0025 just to see the screenshot of this happened in our tournament. It's a good deal for me. Really.

What is the rule about buyback regarding our last longer side bet. Does the buyback count or you are out when initial stakes run out?


Not much chance of that happening but thanks for the initiative anyway. This way we can have a bit more insurance to go all in on a already great hand :)

I think I might not able to share this one but for sure the next one I'll be able to, I'm just hoping the time for them will not be a hassle since the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) might take last and people might be boring not doing anything at home here in the Philippines.

I would assume that as long as you were in the tourney when it started, both buyins count towards the last longer bet if you use them both. Noone has used a 2nd bullet yet that is in the bet, but it is allowed.

we're now at the final table. yahoo62278 with a big chip lead, almost 1/4 of all chips. he's a favorite to win both the main and side pot. we'll see what happens. 8)

I have had KK 3 times so far in this game and AA once. Helps that they held everytime as well.

you only need 1 krill to be able to chat. our private tourneys are rake free though, so you won't get any krill by playing them. you could sit at the smallest micro stakes for ~30 minutes and earn at least that much.

no way to deactivate the requirement unfortunately.

Looks like it was a solid tournament all around. Disappointed I couldn't get in on this one but, I'll be there next time.
I almost let my inner degen out and set an alarm for 4 hours after bedtime this morning... thought the better of it.  Seeing how long it ran probably for the best... probably  ;D

I think it's just good at SwC nothing much to do on sign-ups and they really have great table besides there are already 3 tourneys held there and not much of an issues. By the way, congratulations for the win @shipdschips.

I don't know about others, but I was playing at the top of my abilities. I almost fainted when the game was over. But what a game it was!

Congratulations to everyone who made it far esp to yahoo for winning! I entered late, but anyway realized very soon that I would not be able to play for long so I went all-in a few times in a stretch. Totalled out 2 players before I got totalled out myself, so it was sort of interesting to see.

Is there a way to somehow make the timeouts faster? Like 10 seconds should be more than enough;)

i'm not sure. probably not, but maybe we could speed up the blind levels by a couple minutes. i'm partial to slower structures because turbos usually turn into donk shove fests, but i'll go with what the crowd wants.

That's not how it is done. You should treat it as a relaxing thing not a chore. I make myself a nice cocktail or stock a fridge full of beers and then it is enjoyment time. As soon as my ass started hurting from that much sitting I went in high risk game and lost soon after that. But that is what works for me. Stakes weren't big and I got almost 3 hours of good fun out of it.

I'll be participating in all tournaments while this Corona lock down lasts so weekly tournaments would suit me just fine. Just need to get chat working before next one. Have to use the time before life gets to normal.

 

Yes, you are absolutely right, the rules for the BBJ are tighter, normally. But I intentionally made it easier to qualify for the prize, because otherwise it could take like 20 years until it happened in our tournament.

It's like mining difficulty, in a way: the more active miners around, the higher it is. If the number of miners drops, the difficulty drops as well.

If the number of participants in our tournament rises to many hundreds, we can always make an adjustment. :)

true, at any single 2-3 table tournament, the odds are quite low. quads > full house is okay.


i think we can be trusted for 0.0025 BTC each. it's not worth escrowing because it could be weeks or months before the BBJ gets hit.

I think due to the fact that most players are still sorta learning the game, the blinds going faster would work against them. I'm ok with the current levels or faster levels, but I don't want others not joining due to fear of having to play too fast.

@foma will you make another thread for this weekly tournament because if you will I may translate that one on my own language if people will be interested on it.

Well I had not much clue in that match but the time has changed now. I am more into this game and I believe I made good improvement knowing when to do what. I have been trying to play it since then in a Facebook app and now I am as good as the opponents in the table.

I could not join today's one since the app was not loading in my browser but in the SWC poker I am in and this time I will have good run. Watch for me 😋
