Listen, no one knows what will happen in the future. You're pretty much almost asking for those typical price predictions. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: avikz on May 14, 2020, 03:19:39 PM
Seriously speaking, I don't think altcoin season will be back soon. Whatever happened back in 2017, will not happen again because people don't trust altcoins anymore. Anyone can create an altcoin within having a valid business justification which we had actually se3n back in 2017, which resulted huge monetary loss for a lot of investora. Since then altcoin market is facing credibility issue and I don't see any strong reason for it to be back on track. Adopt bitcoin instead! Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: enhu on May 14, 2020, 03:39:24 PM Does "buy the dip" also applies to altcoins? Altcoin so far isn't dropping any more for months TRX price is stuck to it. I'm not sure if its gonna go down but certainly, BNB and ETH are about to burst. When they say history repeats itself, it always does repeat itself so watch for the altcoins you wanna invest. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: xen1oph on May 14, 2020, 03:43:41 PM I don't see any big changes in the cryptosphere, so for now, I think, it is too early to make any forecasts. But still, in my opinion, the price will definitely not go up the coming year. Here is my opinion.

Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: LUCKMCFLY on May 14, 2020, 06:48:52 PM ~snip~ I think that at the moment there is no clear structure if the market can stabilize, or in some kind of trend, although we are in a pandemic where panic is the order of the day, and at the same time we have the effect of Bitcoin's Halving. , and although the correlation with speculative markets is low, Bitcoin has a life of its own, which means that altcoins want or do not depend and will always depend on Bitcoin. Speculation for the bitcoin halving is debunked, we have seen a lot of people calling themselves "technical analysts" of bitcoin failed to predict on what will happen before the halving and after although we haven't see the effect of it yet but as of now there is nothing on the price that I can tell from halving's impact. Just try to notice how many altcoins are pumping and doubling their price as we are all not looking to them.Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: semobo on May 14, 2020, 08:23:27 PM Hello to all members, hope every body will be fine and safe during this deadly COVID-19 pandemic. #StayHome #StaySafe You asked four questions but we can answer all the above in one answer which is no one knows, yeah literally no one can say which is perfect to buy bitcoin or altcoin and its impossible to say how the market movement will be.As we all knew about Bitcoins recently halving event, Which has been done and now Bitcoin is becomes more Rare to mine. Here i want to know the kind opinion of BTT community: What is the stability zone of Bitcoin Price ?
Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: EdvinZ on May 15, 2020, 03:57:39 AM I think the halving of Bitcoin briefly revived the price of cryptocurrencies. If the worldwide pandemic continues and the economic situation continues to deteriorate, it is likely that cryptocurrencies will begin to decline in price. Altcoins have been showing growth for a long time, another thing is that it is not the same as it was in 2017, but then there was a strong hype in the cryptocurrency market.
Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: billykannithi on May 15, 2020, 06:50:22 AM 1. The price of Bitcoin or other currencies is not stably. They change everytime, depend on the market. But in this time, I think the price is 8K5 -8K7 is good for Bitcoin
2. After Havling, the Reward of BTC is down a half, so I beleive this is a reason that The price of BTC will increase. I will buy BTC before June 3. My target of BTC is 14-16k last year Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: sheenshane on May 15, 2020, 07:09:34 AM There's no constant in this world except change and that goes with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as well which means there's no stability zone in the crypto world. The word volatile will always give fluctuation to the crypto price, stability no more. With altcoin's downtrend, I'm hoping that it will continue but the same thing we can't forecast the future of altcoins.
Anytime you may buy and start investing in altcoin but because of the trust issue, it's up to you if you would like to put your assets at risk. We can't tell or predict if altcoins can still bounce back because until now they still have some issues that they are unable to address and it will be better to be with Bitcoin instead. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: Vaculin on May 15, 2020, 07:34:07 AM Bitcoin was never seen stable, but I will give an answer based on the movement of bitcoin.
In the recent days, we've seen bitcoin rise up to $10,000(+) so this means bitcoin is capable of rising though at the current situation where there is a crisis. Why I emphasize bitcoin is because bitcoin has a big contribution for the rise of altcoins, just to have a big chance of seeing an altcoins run, I am expect that bitcoin will soon reach a new ATH, hopefully this year although unlikely to happen. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: carter34 on May 15, 2020, 07:59:06 AM I don't see any big changes in the cryptosphere, so for now, I think, it is too early to make any forecasts. But still, in my opinion, the price will definitely not go up the coming year. Here is my opinion. Buddy I'm optimistic that btc price will bull even from this year. I'm not forecasting because maybe is still early but I have not seen a stopping or obstacle stopping price to grow. Covid-19 fear is going off, people are beginning to go back to street, some work and businesses coming back, crude price coming up and activities are growing gradually. Now btc is at $9,413 and that's some gain from yesterday. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: Wind_FURY on May 15, 2020, 11:35:08 AM OP, this is what happens usually,
Bitcoin surges up in price = Altcoins drop in price. Bitcoin sideways in price = Altcoins drop in price. Bitcoin drops in price = Altcoins drop in price. BUT, there's a short "alt season". When? I believe just like the past, after Bitcoin has "rested" after a bullish move. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: davis196 on May 15, 2020, 12:24:58 PM You mentioned the BTC halving and it's possible impact over the prices, but you are asking 3 questions about altcoins and only one about Bitcoin. This seems weird to me.You realize that the BTC halving has zero influence over the altcoin prices, right?
To answer your rookie questions: Bitcoin will never have a stable price. The best time to buy altcoins is when you gather some secret insider information about an altcoin getting pumped by some crypto whales,so you buy before the pump&dump price manipulation happens. ;D Why the altcoin prices should bounce back? Can you mention a clear reason why the altcoins should bounce back? Something like upcoming altcoin mass adoption or increased usability? Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: pakhitheboss on May 15, 2020, 12:52:17 PM Quote
I have not heard this term niether have I seen Bitcoin or the cryptocurrency market being stable. It is a high volatile market and anything can happen anytime. Historically 2016 after halving, Bitcoin crashed but altcoin exploded. I do not think it will happen this time. At the moment Bitcoin is having a small Bull run and it is bleeding altcoins. I think it will remain like this till the end of May. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: btc_angela on May 15, 2020, 02:44:31 PM
Bitcoin market is very volatile so there are no such thing as stability zone, we might see it trading sideways, but it doesn't mean that it can maintain the positive for too long.
No one can answer that, Altcoin market is very volatile that bitcoin and there are a lot of p&d going on altcoin as well.
The rule of thumb is always buy in dip. And only invest what you can afford to lose.
Really hard to say when is altcoin going to bounce back, although most of the top 10 altcoin has somewhat regain some traction because of the halving, we really can't say if they are going to continue their recovery. Still base on the project itself, if there are updates like ETH 2.0. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: Ridwan Fauzi on May 15, 2020, 10:09:37 PM Bitcoin price is volatile, its price always move and we can see a decrepit difference between the movement price of bitcoin and some places investment like stock even with gold. But, I read some artickle before halving came which stated that bitcoin price will be stable. Bitcoin's future has been using by some exchange especially some good exchang, it means if many investor chooses this way then most likely bitcoin price will be stable.
As for altcoin, you may need to learn more about altcoin. If you are looking for a stable coin I mean a crypto currency which has a stable price you are wrong if you choose an altcoin. Their price are more volatile comparing to bitcoin price movement. You can make an analyst, if you find new altcoin that just listed on the exchange then you will see how volatile its price, you can double even you can make 100x return of investment and otherwise. Volatility and stability doesn't go hand-in-hand. So the answer is there are no stability in bitcoin.
Altcoin market is a pure pump and dump market now. Maybe, just maybe when bitcoin goes on a bull run again, possible that altcoin will go pump as well.
No one can timing altcoin market.
When there is FOMO, however, don't expect something similar to 2017. Altcoin investors have matured already. And almost all of them are still way below from their ATH, like -60%-99% down. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: stomachgrowls on May 15, 2020, 11:58:26 PM
Price is always been volatile and thats one of the main reason why theres a big community that supports it.Why? volatility makes money but not all the times we would see high ranges of movements thats why sometime we can say that it is somewhat stabilize or steady but its actually a wrong term to be used.
your money for now.
you on hesitance.
Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: carter34 on May 16, 2020, 09:31:56 PM There are many altcoin which grew around in market. With such profit, risk follows. While Altcoin is riskier when compared to bitcoin. Litecoin is older than ethereum but is an improvement to bitcoin as litecoin is four times faster than Bitcoin, it's grown to be one of the best altcoins with its current trading. It might be a litecoin season too for bull run likewise etheruem has done in last btc halving. Apart from that, there are new altcoins whose present in the market will be a great achievement. I don't want to mention names but project are leading their coins strong lately. Lets see if the halving is going to cause a bull in altcoins. But talking about Bitcoin's stability zone, I doubt that we could find it. Volatility stance for it and therefore, we could never see there is stability zone. The market moves freely, it goes up and down at any time, the same thing as it happen to altcoins. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: MCobian on May 17, 2020, 02:08:20 AM Bitcoin is not included stablecoins, the price is volatile. So there is no stability zone prices for bitcoin. Then for altcoins now
It's starting to bounce back, so if want to buy altcoins, this is the right time. According to my prediction in 2021 it will happen alt season where altcoins prices will uptrend, and altcoins will rise to reach all time high prices. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: cosmofly on May 17, 2020, 06:02:25 AM There is a fairly common rule in crypto market when bitcoin is stable, it is time for small capitalized shitcoins to be pumped quite strongly at big exchanges. And it is also time for the alts to recover and grow to reduce the bitcoin dominance. So after the strong growth from bitcoin and it's in the stability zone after that, it's a good time to buy short-term alts and trade.

And it is also time for the alts to recover and grow to reduce the bitcoin dominance. So after the strong growth from bitcoin and it's in the stability zone after that, it's a good time to buy short-term alts and trade. Your strategy may work for you, but actually I think the only way for altcoins to be stable again is if bitcoin will rise and will create a new high. It's like a start of the market since investors will be able to see a good price to sell and the new investors coming will not have to panic anymore. also it's important that bitcoin will be stable so altcoins will start growing, if bitcoin is so volatile and we will witness a pump and dump, it will usually affect the movement of altcoins as well, so they'll not be able to grow. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: Latviand on May 17, 2020, 06:48:19 AM ~snip~ I think that at the moment there is no clear structure if the market can stabilize, or in some kind of trend, although we are in a pandemic where panic is the order of the day, and at the same time we have the effect of Bitcoin's Halving. , and although the correlation with speculative markets is low, Bitcoin has a life of its own, which means that altcoins want or do not depend and will always depend on Bitcoin. That's somehow correct that the altcoin only depends on the price of bitcoin in the market because the only basis of their existence is bitcoin. Altcoins are inspired by bitcoins that's why they are made to the market, and in terms of stability in the market, there's no such thing and it is hard to attain stability especially that there are factors that can affect its price. Like this pandemic, plus the halving season, probably there's a huge impact of this events about the stability of bitcoin. Bitcoin can really be independent and grow on its own, it has its own value and worth in the market and every bitcoin holders know that. There is something more about bitcoin that you can't find in using those altcoins and it a good store of value even in a long term investment compared to altcoins that are only dependent. Title: Re: Bitcoin Stability zone and Altcoins Post by: Taskford on May 17, 2020, 09:16:02 AM There is a fairly common rule in crypto market when bitcoin is stable, it is time for small capitalized shitcoins to be pumped quite strongly at big exchanges. That will be the scenario but since the halving is taking effect right now maybe the focus of the traders are on bitcoins since many people monitoring if it will take a big leap just like what happen before, maybe there are others who still do trades with alts but provably only few percentage since the hype is growing on bitcoins side right now. |
