Title: ProBit exchange and their poor support system.
Post by: Shohag123 on August 02, 2020, 12:43:45 PM
I have to use so many exchanges because I am a bounty hunter and I hold some coin.Recently I am using probit exchange. So far my experience is good but 4-5 days I have a problem after deposit.I have deposited 1.16 BNB from Mxc exchange to Probit exchange. But mistakenly I didn't use memo while depositng BNB.So its natural that my deposit has not come.So at first I didn't know I didnot use  memo so I have mailed mxc exchange first and they send me transaction id and told me to ask probit exchange. And they gave me eply within 20 minutes. And I have contacted probit like 4-5 days ago.But they didn't give me any responses.Bot replied and told me they will contact me.So far they didn't contact me.

So I am very disappointed with Probit support. So do anyone know how many days require to answer by probit support.I think its not very good for exchange that don't have a live chat support and don't reply messages for 5 days.

And last will probit give me my BNB back or it will lost forever??

Just use their telegram. https://t.me/ProbitEnglish

14k probit users are there. I'm sure than more than here :) And response from telegram admins is better than from randoms from internet :)

Usually an exchange support team will reply your issues within up-to  3-5 working days.
As i saw,  probit also has a Twitter account (which is quite active link : https://twitter.com/ProBit_Exchange) and a telegram group (telegram link was mentioned by the member above my post).
My advice, besides waiting for an answer from the support team through your email. Perhaps you can try to send a message through their twitter account or ask directly through their telegram account. Btw i dont have any account in probit.

Here is nothing to worry and Probit will obviously give you your deposited bnb because you haven't put wrong address and your funds are now to Probit wallet.
So they just will be sure and will deposit to your account. So let's try to keep contacting to Probit.

Thank you.I thought they don't have any telegram.I have tried to search in my telegram but their channel didn't show.Actually I always try to chat in telegram first because in telegram response is very first. And thank you for giving the telegram link.I hope to get my BNB back.

Plz correct your quote properly you have done a little bit mistake while replying.
Just edit your quote option and resave.

I have used probit a couple of time and I didnt have any problem with them. The problem that makes most exchange reply late to ticket is most time due to limited number of staffs dedicated for that. Secondly, many support ticket that require response like you but limited staff might take time. I do not have idea where probit business is located but if it is in a country with high amount of muslims, then it might be due to the festive period. I will advice not to send another support ticket but rather contact them through social media especially on telegram if they have any.

Sorry to hearing that but till now I didn't face any problem in probit. You should ask on their telegram or twitter. One thing you have to know never make trx exchanger to exchanger because if you faced some problem you have to suffer long time even low quality exchanger will make a issue & your coin will be vanished. So try to deposit from personal wallet.

You didn't mention that you have created a ticket for this because it is much better to have this than simply sending them for TX ID. And also, you can't expect them to reply immediately even the other exchanges because they'll might have several cases that are on the line-up before yours. It probably we can say that they have a poor support system but we also have to understand them.

I could suggest to you is to have a follow-up ticket so your request will be appear again at their screen, I often used that especially when we can't have a reply for that long. 5days past, pretty disgusting, and that gives doubts about how many tickets they solve every day.

Use all of their contacts that you can so they will notice your concern. Aside from emailing them or contacting them through support. Try to contact them with the given telegram channel by Tytanowy.

4-5 days has passed and likely your email to them has been covered by new inquiries.

They are very slow and nonresponsive when it comes to supporting, not only that, they are the culprit of listing ungenuine projects with 100% bonus. Those who are using it should be careful about the project they are trading on. Most of them are just shit.

You need to keep following it up and use those channels to communicate with their supports
the team might have lots of inquiries
There's a need of keep following it up and look for any advise coming from them to resolve
this issue, there's nothing you can do.
The chance of getting it back can only be answered by ProBit as per your statement where
Mxc exchange already gave you transaction info
Everything now is in the hand of ProBit keep trying by means of following up your queries.

I think you can give them time to reply to your message as I believe they have any questions from the other members who need a reply from them. But if they don't give any response for 2 weeks, you can back to message them and ask about your problem. We know that many others exchange have a weak support system, or they are late to reply to our message because we are not the only ones that have a problem. So you need to wait for a while, and if they finally give your BNB, I think you don't have to stay at their exchange, and you can move to the other exchanges.

I do trade couple of times in probit exchange. I didn't face any kinda problem like this cause i never face any problem while i trade. Of course an exchange have hundreds of clients and it's okey to be late sometimes but 5 days is much longer than i thought. If they want to become a top quality exchange platform then they should increase their customer service properly. In your first reply someone said to contact with them in via telegram group. I also think it's a good way than mail service. But of course make sure you are deal with right admin.

when you send a ticket, you might wanna escalate it to high risk to get reply faster. i always do this even with just a simple inconvenience. though i haven't tried probit yet maybe that will work for you too. exchanges always have poor support even binance will keep you waiting for 10 days as i have tried. with you being a customer already means you don't need to sign up anymore. also use the chat support or the telegram.

I think best course of action for a quicker response is to contact them through telegram or even Twitter. This will bring attention to your case wanting the support them to be dealing with the issue asap. As for you being able to get your tokens back in theory so long as they've been deposited on their exchange and can prove this there shouldn't be a problem - but still best to try your hardest to get back what's yours.

And if after going through it still not possible then at least you know which exchange you'll never be using again.

This is the risk on using up unknown exchangers yet this is my first time on hearing out this exchange name.As a bounty hunter you would really have no choice but to deal up with this kind of randomness

towards using various exchange and part of the risk is on when you suddenly face up problems or issues that would really be hard to be resolved yet you wouldnt know on these sites legitimacy on the first place.

On support matter then he would need to contact all of those mediums and wait up for the response. There are no other options left but hoping that they would respond soon.

Many people still going to unknown exchange where we know the risk is so high and just cried out here once issue came and maybe best for us if we are capital conscious person over our trade best is to go always on top tier exchange where reputation already tested and they will not take down their users easily.

So for now since issue has been occured I think your suggestion about contacting them in any means and wait for their reply is the only option.

It is just the memo you failed to input. I somehow did this so many times with the other wallets and there's nothing wrong receiving the coins. But upon searching, I found this one;

*Important Note about Memos

There are some tokens such as XRP that require a specific memo to be inputted. If you forget to specify the memo you will need to send a ticket to ProBit Support for assistance in recovering your transaction. Remember, that our admins will never ask you for your password or for you to transfer money. Only emails from support@probit.com are real admins.

While other exchange need not required memo to be input when sending transactions, seems like probit do strict requirements about it.

Have you already submitted ticked containing your concerns to their support? If bot replied as you've said, just wait and they will solve it for you.

Have you try contact on telegram channel? maybe using support on probit exchange will be delay and low respond and you must use telegram channel and ask admin why your transaction is not process, by the way I use probit when trading many coin received from bounty campaign and running well when deposit and withdraw.

Usually, the support team will reply to anyone who has an issue for a couple of minutes or an hour only. But if they didn't respond for more than 1 day, well that really something for me. I think there is fishy going on to that exchange platform anyway. But try not to stop messaging them about the issue you have.

Have you receive a confirmation email about your concern? most exchange do that when you send a support and then the follow-up message to reply your concern, if you haven't receive, then maybe you were not able to send to the support successfully.

In terms of processing, I guess sometimes it will take time as they need investigate the matter, I have problem also in the past with my xrp transaction where I put a different memo (IIRC) but it's on other exchange, it's hitbtc but I was happy my problem was solve and my deposit was credited.

But of course, it's a different exchange so they might have a different processing period, the only way to know is you get the answer from them.

Yes, that's what I have said about inquiries. There could be too many inquiries already for which the supports can't dig the inquiry that he have that's past for almost a week.

I don't want to discourage op.

Just keep trying it since all of the contacts were given to him.

The OP didn't complain about the exchange feature like trading or withdrawal, The OP clearly says he made a mistake on deposit for not putting a MEMO which is very important on exchanges, usually the exchange use only one wallet on this chains BNB, XRP, EOS. So to identify your deposit they need this MEMO and the OP forgot to put it  on his deposit and his problem is the exchange response to recover it, he is waiting for it.
Some low level exchange like this has really poor support.

I don't use Probit but they're not as bad as Hotbit or Hitbtc, at least last time I checked them out. Be careful when you try to seek help from Telegram, I'm pretty sure scammers will contact you as soon as you post your issue there.
It's better not to post questions or complaints directly in the probit group. I would recommend contacting the probit admin via PM personally, so the message will be read immediately.
make sure to select the probit admin with an asterisk. This will be faster than having to send via email. Email only as an alternative.

some problems can be solved properly, may require a process and there are some errors. Probit is a pretty good exchange in my opinion.

Most often people are using phones so they have an easy access to all social media concerns and give them an abrupt replies (if there is). Have to agree that email isn't a fastest way to get back the answer/s rather than sending it directly into their social media account. But of course, we don't need to get rush or being harsh enough to know the solution because of the busy life that probably they have, they can't make it prioritize.

It really takes time especially when dealing a critical issues that it needs a thorough investigation. Days will make it work.

For any exchanges or company, hanging their customer for 5 days (and counting) without any response is already unprofessional to me. At least during that period, they should now have a response for the majority of their received tickets.

As for me, when I'm in that situation, I'm making sure that I can flood them with my request on a proper basis like an everyday ticket bump. Not an assurance that I will receive a reply but at least I'm taking the chance that my ticket will be noticed.

Being on their busy life shouldn't be the reason why the response takes too long. They established a company so they need to provide good service to their users.

I ever made this thing before but in different exchange and indeed it takes a several day (if I'm not mistaken it was take 6 days after I contacted the exchange's support). You can contact continously to probit support to give an explanation. Because since I know, I don't noticed if there is a bad review and bad accusation against probit exchange especially in this forum.

Hopefully your problem can be solved quickly and take this behavior as a learning in the future. I always check carefully when I try to send some coin, even I always need several times to check the wallet address and check the memo if the coin is require a memo number when it will be send.

I think if probit does not give you any response, try to contact to their social media like facebook , twitter and also in telegram. We all know that every exchange now has their official telegram channel. Search for the admin and tag him in the group. They will respond to you I'm sure of that. But yes, exchanges took very long before responding and fixing you queries.

I have never tried using Probit exchange, but after knowing what you are experiencing I am not interested to use Probit exchange.

Probit (https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges/probit) isn't really an unknown exchange. Well, may be not as popular as Binance but certainly we can't classify it as unknown. An exchange that has over 400 active markets with more than 5,535 BTC trading fund isn't a noob in the industry. These lapses from support teams happen with virtually all the exchanges. You may be lucky to get your ticket picked within a few minutes but that doesn't mean it's well and rosy all the time. There are bad days for everyone/companies too.

make sure to select the probit admin with an asterisk. This will be faster than having to send via email. Email only as an alternative.

some problems can be solved properly, may require a process and there are some errors. Probit is a pretty good exchange in my opinion.

Exactly, there's lapses and there's a process.

You have no choice but to follow that process in order to fixed your problem

the exchange needs to check it and proceed to all their protocols in solving
customers issues, you need to follow that and it's not bad to keep doing your
follow or seek for higher authorities same with what the post above me has stated.

So I am very disappointed with Probit support. So do anyone know how many days require to answer by probit support.I think its not very good for exchange that don't have a live chat support and don't reply messages for 5 days.

And last will probit give me my BNB back or it will lost forever??

Most people that do had issues about stuck coins are most in unknown ones and as said they dont able to sell it on other exchange since its not listed. Most project do commonly end up on trading up their coins
in less popular exchange just for them to be get listed and be traded of even though exchange platforms reputation is still questionable.

This is why as a bounty hunter you would really sell it of in spite of the risk and the main thing into their mind is on how to cash it out as a reward of their bounty hard work.

Its pretty common to face up issues like this and lots of them cry in the end of the day because of ending up on a shady scam exchange.

I don’t make use of ProBit exchange, I don’t even know the two exchanges you have mentioned here (Mxc and ProBit).

But, have you ever contacted ProBit customer support before? That can help you determine how long it’s going to take them to reply your mail. And by the way you should check the reply you got from a bot they might have stated how long it typically takes them to attend to or reply customer complaints; other exchanges I use, once you send a mail and a bot replies, in the email it will state how long it take for them to reply. Or you can as well check their FAQ. And moreover, some companies, due to Covid-19, has been less active.

Contact them via all of these mediums and wait for an answer.

Days will make it work.
yes you have to be patient to get a reply. if replied quickly may have good luck. But some people always seem to panic when their problem is not solved and have not received a reply from support service.

Some critical problems need good handling and of course will get better solutions too. this applies to all exchanges, not just probit.

There are so many exchanges out there that are making sure that they are taking a piece of the pie that I can't believe the situation is still this bad. I mean I understand that people could be naive and believe every single exchange but it shouldn't be this easy to be a bad exchange.

If you own an exchange you have to have a lot of support that is working to make sure you look good to people as well, you need to help people. Just having the exchange codes are not enough, just because you built one exchange that is functional your job is not over. You need to do support, you need to do marketing, you need to do social media and there are tons of other legal works as well. Some exchanges just get a code from somewhere else and customize it to themselves and call it an exchange.

I am about to make use of probit exchange (for trading one particular altcoin) and when I am looking for any topics on them, I luckily found this one.

I have resolved my issue through the help of telegram admin. If it can be only solve with the help of telegram what is the benefit of opening support system?
This is what I do face on most crypto services which are in my understanding not run by professional team but individual people like you and myself. So, they even do not know how to enable alters when some one raise a ticket for an issue. Only when we contact them in other means, they will come to know about them. (I have seen people who never find how many PMs in this forum they are having unread until someone notify them about it ::)).

moreover, some companies, due to Covid-19, has been less active.
Yeah, this is what another primary reason, we must consider. Because, most people are now into work from home and they may not be fully focused on all usual routines due to different work environment.

1. I guess title of this topic should be edited to reflect the latest status of the issue of OP.
2. Exchanges (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=223.0) sub could more more appropriate board for this topic.

do you move your funds from MXC to PROBIT, just to arbitrate, I often hear mistakes such as beginners, lack of knowledge about tokens and coins, usually in exchanges there is always a box to fill in the MEMO when you want to make a withdrawal right under the wallet address , if you only send to a regular wallet address or a personal wallet address you don't have to enter a MEMO, but if you want to send to an exchange, usually a deposit and MEMO address is provided, I'm afraid your problem can't be solved, from some cases usually lost money is non-refundable

No matter how good an exchange may seem to be, if they don’t have a customer support team that’s very responsive, then it wouldn’t make any sense.

There are times you might run into problems with their platform and you will be in need of support to solve the problems, since the support is not there, there will not be a means to solve those problems, because you don’t have access to correct those problems. I have seen exchanges that seem good to me, but along the line I discovered that their support team are not ready to assist me when I need them, maybe because they have too many customers or something, I just leave and look for a better one.

Support system is one of the most important components of a certain platform or business. Its just dumb that there would be such thing that do exist because sooner or later, there would be problems on w
where the site will able to experience on.

Having no support nor very slow responding one will really be not good in the site which this one will really give out bad impressions into its users or simply means that it isnt really that having that
good support system.

Its one of the criterias that ive been considering when choosing up and its really good when they have very active and much responsive.
