I have $2000 from a source. What will be the best coin invest in for 2020? We know there are trending DeFi. But there are more coins which are too low price but there have a chance to win in 2020 end.
Do you have any suggestion for coins to invest $2000?

Apart from the fact that most will tell you to invest in BTC, which is somehow logical, you should not expect someone to tell you with certainty which altcoin will explode by the end of this year. Some coins are "cheap" because their circulating supply is at upwards of multiple billions. Bitcoin is "expensive" because the circulating supply is only at 18.4 million and capped at 21 million.

Cut all the crap and just go with bitcoin.

If you are looking for a diamond in rough, really hard to say which one because it can simply be pump. As other have suggested, go with BTC, you can't go wrong putting your $2k worth of hard earn money and just hold on it. And you don't know how secure those low cap and low coins are.

We all know that the bitcoin is one of the best coins before this is the mother of all coin before only a few people support this coin but by the time goes by it gives a lot of increase on its market price and this is a good thing to know some of the people now becomes millionaire this coin comes out to the businessman and investors they saw the potential of this coin to make a lot of profit on the year way back 2016-2017.

Why bitcoin? Because this is already tested and proven that gives a good market income and profit.

Is this the time to make an investment? I don't think so the market price of the coin is in too much uptrend so it is quite risky to make the investment well the market is volatile invest at your own risk and good luck to you.

If you only want to invest because of trending, you need to be careful about it. We can't really sure how long this trending will do, after the trending ended... the tokens will dump and become worthless. I'd say bitcoin is the best crypto, because it has been survive for 10 years and good for long-term investment.

To buy coins with your $2000, you need to split the money to buy different Altcoins. Currently, I see some good coins with very low price for now. And which are not DEFI coins. I suggest you to buy Kai (kardiachain), BOA (Bosagora before their Mainnet launch.
Also, I see centric cash too as a very good coin to invest in. I suggest you go for some centric cash too and  very low price.

If so then choose the best coin, yes, bitcoin is nothing else in my opinion because it is one of the parent coins of other coins and bitcoin is able to turn the market into a pump and dump.

Well, I am not trying to advise any coin to anyone to invest in. Base on your post, I will like to recommend to you the coin and token I have been monitoring almost two years now. Elrond and  KardiaChain. They are doing well in the crypto market. Elrond is occupying rank 44 positions in the Coinmarketcap. It actually beat my imagination how it climbs to 40 positions and Later dropped to 44.  I have some investments in those promising projects. You can do your research to see if what you can invest in and if not you can look for a better opportunity. Bitcoin still remained the best coin to invest in if you have enough capital to do so.

Maybe you will get lot of suggestions from different users here. At the end of the day, you can not make the right decisions because of a lot of suggestions. So better to make own investigation if you are interested in any altcoins. But keep in mind that today's bullish means tomorrow bearish. And I faced many times this problem in altcoins investments. So, if Bitcoin will become in a bullish trend, logically, all altcoins will follow the trend too. I only saw two coins that have a strong potential to invest this year, the Bitcoin and Ethereum. You can split your capital as your investment into two parts. The higher percentage is on Bitcoin and the rest is on Ethereum. Let say, 75% for Bitcoin and 25% for the Ethereum.

Never be fooled to those altcoins have a price of pump and dump, time will come you will be trapped by them once they will dump and you have been stuck upon holding. Your money, your own risk, manage it well.

Maybe OP has thought something different from his mind and to think about those dead coins. Will that OP seemingly in doubt to bitcoin that makes him ask what is best.

Anyway OP, you're asking "what are the best coin this year" and pretty sure you need a few numbers to consider. But I suggest choosing among the top listed coin, nothing to dig deeper as only it leads you nothing but a dead coin. Not also a good idea to take a look into new project because you are just bringing yourself into a huge chance of losing.

I'm sure most people will answer Bitcoin, because it is Bitcoin the best for investment in 2020. But the $ 2000 capital is quite a big
capital in my opinion, so you shouldn't just invest in Bitcoin alone. You can use some of it to invest in altcoins, but choose the altcoins
that are really potential. Such as ETH, LTC, BNB and XRP.

It's not recommended for those people who are confused about on what coin they have to put their money to just jump on other altcoins or follow certain lists of coins by the others. I wouldnt suggest new defi but will advice you to stick with the old and established ones like ethereum,  bitcoin, bnb. Sadly, most of the defi projects are not yet fully successful at the moment. If you'll put your money into investing in crypto coins, be mart for choosing and make sure you'll not putting your fund in a useless coin. Anyway, if you are for long term holding, those on top in CMC were good choices.

Don't jump on DeFi coin if you don't have enough knowledge in crypto trading. Because now DeFi coins are over priced. Many projects are fake they just entered in the market to scam people & scam investors money in DeFi hype. I think you got your answer previous reply. Bitcoin is the king & Bitcoin is the safe investment in crypto. So, buy bitcoin :)

When you will spend money to invest especially in crypto currency you must find out the ins and out the project itself. That is the important thing, you can't relly on someone else suggestion.

Also, you have to set the time pariode. I mean, you have to choose between short term and long term investment. You will be fine if you choose DeFi's project if your intention is short term strategy. These factor should be known by yourself, you can't ask to someone else unless you are willing to lose your $2000.

I am having doubts that you have these money. According to forum you havent participated in bounties that might bring that kind of money. Also I think that if a person participated in social media bounties, he can not have 2 grands that he would easily spend investing in crypto :)

I think this is a great opportunity for you to accumulate some great coins because in my current portfolio there are 4 which is Defi.
