Understand market signal? Are you mean TA? and invest on any new token? Its trading since you're more focused on TA and pump-dump new coin. Most of new coin on 1-3 month will have huge dump and become worthless, only few token can survive in this scheme. While invest is you need to understand more about FA than TA, also the length is between 6 months - 5 years.

Both of invest and trading must need hard work and experience. You need to control yourself and not be greedy.Trial and error is pretty common regarding trading, so its why experience is very important!

Its not easy like that you don't even mention the risk involve when you are investing in a project or tokens.

Many newbie think its easy to earn money by trading but in reality many people also in that without learning or have enough knowledge before starting this kind of investment.

This is why other newbies contended that trading doesn't require hard work but in actual trading entails hard work and knowledge. Even you are a crypto investor trading is not easy because for some it does work and for some, it's difficult on how to earn money so you have to gain knowledge and some strategies. It also requires experience for you to be successful in every trades you make. So a lot of factors to be considered a good investor.

It largely depends on our luck as well but yes I agree that with selection of good quality projects we can ensure that we can profit well for mid to longterm range but then again we never know how high the price can go. For example, snx was trading below 10 cents for many months but when it hit $1 i sold all my bag thinking it is the peak but if you check now the price has already reached over $7, now i have some UTK tokens and i will not sell that $2 because that is another high quality project.

making big money is not an easy job even in the cryptocurrency market, because to make money, you need to do a lot of analytics for different cryptocurrency projects

To be a crypto investor, you still need the knowledge to know what coins can be your way to make a profit. If you are already a crypto investor, you need to know how long your investment time is so you can sell your coin to make your profit. There is no time to know when the market will increase, so you need to analyze yourself and don't depend on other people.

I don't suggest investing in the new token because if the market is not moving good, that will make the new token will stay at the lowest price. A good investor knows when to buy, hold, and sell the coin at the right time to make a profit in the future.

The skillset is totally different IMHO. For trading you need a decent understanding of financial market, TA or coding skills (mandatory if you are a quant/arb or just want to fetch data from an API but I think it helps in general).
Conversely, an investor who focuses 5-10y from now must possess product knowledge, understand the long term competitive advantages (stellar team, winner-takes-all markets etc.) and formulate educated guesses on how a specific industry may evolve in the future.

'With you skills you can earn' that's correct but when you add 'you can earn without any hardwork' that, I disagree with and with that statement, you're sending a wrong message to the noobs reading this thread. You thinking investing doesn't require hardwork most be linked with you investing wrongly by just gambling with your funds. Even though investing in bitcoin has been proven to be very profitable, you not doing your research properly before buying into the market and developing the patience to hold when the market goes negative will cost you heavily.

There's alot to learn, if you're adventuring into trading as you need to acquire the required skills which takes discipline, hardwork and experience to master. With investing too you need experience and most importantly blindly following exchange new listing will end you in losses then profit especially when you don't have the experience to outsmart the market.

Skills are nothing without hard work. We all know that learning and adapting crypto knowledge isn't an easy thing. It's a long process of learning and investing isn't as easy as we think. It needs patience and understanding so we could handle things well especially in trading. We can't earn without working hard to achieve and earn what we want. Investing is just like planting, we need to water it with perseverance and hard work so it would grow and foster.

It is so very easy to say that investing is an easy way to earn money without knowledge about it, there's a lot of things you need to consider. You have to be very diligent, set goals and also a great discipline. Another asset you need to cope in the Crypto markets is nerves of steel as when your holdings or coins drop in value you don't wan to panic sell and lose to the whales. Have short term, medium and long term targets so that way you don't miss out on the next bull run as well. For each coin, take out your capital and profits and then ride the rest. Learn from your mistakes as well and never be afraid to admit that sometimes you were wrong. Being humble can give you great gains and insight.

100% true it is not easy to make money throughout the cryptocurrency because if you want to make a profit in crypto then you should have to put efforts to make analysis and do research before investing money. 

We can make topics about coinmarketcap situations. Two years ago we also thought that every coin was good and profitable. At that time we didn't need hard research or work. Actually the top coin doesn't need hard, but you shouldn't follow any types of hype signals. Even the market signal is so easy to catch, even now so many investors don't know the future.

Investing is understanding, trading is choosing between short and long term investment, now ,most traders had actually seeming to hit a gain within a space of time but that's not actually true. Also, if you try doing margin trading or maybe do flash loans combined with yield farming then you can actually make tons of silly money that everyone can make with some basic knowledge, right now most of the people are doing yield farming which is quiet risky if you don't have a basic knowledge and a good mentor to teach you.

I agree with you about investor's skills but need to add one more thing. Pure skill alone without experience is lower your chance to make a good investment. To be a good investor need both skill to know what is a good crypto project and when to sell it to max your profit.

I have no idea of TA to know how exactly those "traders" make money in the market. Though, from my experience of investing into stocks based on market news about companies, it all depends on the sentiment in the short run and on the actual performance of the company in the long run. In crypto, there is no way of knowing that because 90% of those listed "projects" are scams or a copy/ repetition of each other.

The only way to make money is to either know enough programming to be part of their bug bounties etc to earn tokens or learn to stake on AWS nodes and make your money while the demand from newbies is there. That is what most of these "traders" do. They have enough capital to invest in masternodes themselves. They shill and keep shilling long enough to earn back their invested amounts. Anything on top of that is profit. There are old people here who have ran such nodes and "invested" into Alts for several years now. Newbies just contribute to their income stream by buying up every new project that has budget for shilling itself.

For most people, the best idea is to actually explore a handful of projects, DYOR and then hold with the hope that the team will deliver. You must follow the development and the ideas to see that they are actually doing something and not just spending their marketing budget from the ICO bags.

Well, I just think anyone going into cryptocurrency have to know some basic.. At least learn the act of doing research before investing. Your research will actually let you know if it's safe or not to invest. Many projects there are out to rip people and just reading trading charts is not enough to I vest in any project. yeah we know this but you still need money to enable an investment, and you say no skill required, this is not true because even the person needs to know some basic stuff like registration in an exchange, buying crypto with fiat, transaction from one wallet to another etc, this is required in other to be able to be an investor.

Such knowledge is still not enough. To be a good investor, you need to be good at both mentality and capital management, and also be a good financial analyst. A good trader always has a lot of knowledge in many fields and especially good psychological control. we have to learn a lot and pay a lot to gain experience. not as easy as you are theoretically speaking dude.

I think we need to let people know that unless you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you can’t just come out become a full-time investor.

Some people just make it seem like you can come out and become a full-time investor just like that without having to work hard and raise that money. Cryptocurrency might seem different, but you can take other investment markets (stocks and trust funds) as an example, they are not the type you can really rely on, you have to invest and make like 12% per annum, that’s not enough for you. Although in cryptocurrency you can make more than 100% in a month, but sometimes you can lose the same way.

Sorry but I will have to disagree with your second statement, you say that you can earn without any hard work and that is a complete lie, those that are successful investors or traders have dedicated a great deal of their time to understand the markets and the way the price moves, if you're not willing to work hard to reach that goal then forget about it you're never going to be a good investor and I don't know why you would expect to get great results when in fact your level of skill will probably below the average of the market.

Cryptocurrency isn't to make profits, but we're doing it. During the bullrun anyone can make profits from top cryptocurrency and don't need any experience. Only real investors know the value of experience. An expert can handle the time of the bear market. Even some people didn't know the cryptocurrency but earned from crypto in 2018, now they regret the experience.

Are you aware that many projects nowadays are very risky to invest in, and also are you aware most exchanges are not worth it at all? With the level of scam projects coming up everyday, investing in any type of projects is wrong but rather being highly selective of the projects as well as the exchanges is a nice way to start. I don't believe what the OP said, you can earn without the hard work. I don't think so. If you are an investor for example, you need to do your own homework to do some assessment for the project. And that entails patience and hard work to gauge if the project is worth your money or not. When you want to earn something, hard work is always there, unless you want to screw people's money.

every single thing you do need some efforts. even if it's just investment. when you're monitoring the price, you need to stand by all day and it needs some effort. i'm sure that investment need a lot of luck too. be careful not too confident with your ability, it can turn your profit into some loss.

What kind of advice is this? well, probably it fits for you, but I don't think it can be suitable for others. However, I really appreciate your way to tell us about this advice.
Well, investing is not only putting your money into the coin/token. Investing, moreover, in the crypto world need at least:
1. basic knowledge of investment (the profit and RISK)
2. Knowledge and analysis of the token or coin to invest (never invest in the crypto that does not have any value or future, because once it becomes deadcoin or shitcoin your money will lose). It means that you need the effort to analyze and decide which coin to invest
3. You may not need to be an experienced person to invest. but, the experience will really make you better in investment. Say, you have more experience with the crypto world and investment, it will drive you better to choose and also make certain decisions for investment to reduce the risks.
4. You do not only look at the market. but you must also analyze the market. Analyzing the market is not easy (for me at least). It needs knowledge, skill, chart analysis, and also the graphic shoed on the market in order to get the exact and closed analysis.

You need to set limit to earn and avoid huge future losses everything is gamble, the volatility of the market is very unpredictable. You can apply and learn from different crypto traders the basic trading or apply own ability to set your own rules. You need to mentally ready to deal the ups and down of the market.

I think everyone will want to be like that, but for skills, not everyone have it. If me i will make an investment in old coins. Maybe bitcoin and Ethereum, although maybe to gain profit not fast as other coins, but i think it is safe investment.

don't forget we can also have real world business  I know many people earn large amount by investing in crypto currency however this is not happen many times .I mean not all is lucky to have earn profit in investing in crypto currency .you need to diversify  your investment into two way real world and crypto world in case one of them failed you still have backup to win that lost money.

Actually that is the best way to increase your net worth, the reason why only few people that are becoming successful in their investing journey because only few investing in their knowledge and ability. Why would you invest more in a specific investment where you do not habe enough and good skills? Before you put big amount of money in a investment, make sure first that you really make investment in yourselves where you fully understand what you are currently doing.

I'm a trader, before I put real money in the exchange that I currently using; I first make investment in myself where I bought a lot of books and attended a lot of seminars about trading. Actually it took me 6 months before I decided to open a account and do scalping.

Sometimes even after full research, analysis and satisfaction the investment gives you big loses especially if you are entering near peaks, all time highs or at the start of the long bear trends, It will negatively effect your investment even if the project and team is really good so when you are investing you should keep that in mind and you should have space to hold the coins out of bear market and wait for 1 to 3 years.

If you are talking about being a long term holder then you are correct as it will not require too much knowledge in order to
become successfull. What you need to know only is what good exchanger to use and a safe currencies to invest in.

You can just monitor your investment weekly or even monthly is enough if you are serious about being a long term holder. One useful

It caused by they were thinking if they can make money instantly and why do they need to waste a lot of their time? This is can happen when it comes to invest in a legit platform but what happened when these people investing in the scam project or even ponzi scheme and they will be actually getting scammed.

You have to assess many aspects to avoid fraudulent investment in cryptocurrency. several factors for analysis, I usually analyze from the project whitepaper. we can analyze a lot of things about the project in the whitepaper.

it is true, no experience is needed, because we will get experience after entering and becoming a small investor. but here "in the crypto investor room", courage is the main point to make a decision about which altcoin / token we want to buy. not all new altcoins / tokens have the opportunity to grow well in the crypto space and are worthy of our holding and trading in the crypto market. You'd better don't join cryptocurrency investment with such mindset otherwise you get yourself financially burn so hot. Cryptocurrency investment cannot be an only job you do for a living. You can earn money without hard work? I can't imagine how it works for you because it didn't work for me, we all know how hard to earn money IRL. Yes I agree, even for me it doesn't work that way. Crypto is not a money making option for everyone that if they invest, they can earn. It is not something that you don't work hard then you can earn so easily. OP should know that even in crypto, there is no such thing as easy, we are all working hard and not taking it as easy as he thing.

Understanding the signals in trading is not that easy you and you can't understand it just by monitoring it sometimes or most of the time signals are not that 100% signals at all it's just an indication that something might happen and it can be something the opposite of what you're thinking. Without your hardwork, only you could be part of the bullrun market. Then you could be part of the bear market. If you earn from the bear market then you will lose it during the bear market. I know after the losses, you will earn your experience. Without experience, you can't know when you should change to USDT.

Yeah, I think people who don't have any money on them are more willing to learn a new thing aka invest in their own ability than someone has money or can easily access it.
