Title: Walmart is planning to accept Flappycoin?
Post by: minairia3 on March 24, 2014, 10:08:03 PM
Listen to this.  I was sitting on the train going from Sunnyvale to San Francisco.  These two Asian guys in suits sat down next to me.  They started talking in Thai after looking around and saying that there was no way anyone could understand them.  I did my Junior Year Abroad in Bangkok.  My Thai is kind of rough and better for picking up chicks but I can understand pretty well.

They worked for Walmart and were both on the same project.  It was random they were Thai.  Walmart wants to explore using Cryptocurrencies to reduce transactions costs, etc.  Bitcoin is too Mt. Gox/silk roadish, no-one knows what Litecoin is, Dogecoin is on the list but after the test because the Dogecoin community will require lots of outreach.  Walmart has a deal with in-house McDonald's and the McDonald's people were sketchy about people paying for BigMacs with dog money. That will be worked out but not right away.

Walmart needed a shitcoin with a solid proven instracture,  good devs and a good feeling.  Panda had been discussed but wasn't on the list because that Wolong guy and the "dueling pandas" problem. Flappybird is well known, pleasant, harmless, warm and fuzzy.  Kids like it.

Flappycoin has been choosen.  The copyrights issues are all worked out; everything is hush-hush and if anyone on the inside talks their contract says they don't paid and Walmart's lawyers will eat them alive.  They'll deny everything all day long.

Roll out is in a couple of months once some technical issues are worked out and if there aren't more bitcoin issues like Mt. Gox to muddy the waters.

Do I have definite proof? No.  I have absolutely no proof or evidence of any kind.  I heard the convo and saw that they had all kinds of Flappybird graphs on their laptops, etc.

Do I own Flappycoin? Up until this morning, no.  But now, I've got loads. I am a Dogecoin guy and have some money in Spaincoin (if the Auroracoin air drop works, I'm rich, if not, I loose a thousand dollars or so.)  I got burned with Mazacoin.  Still don't know why that Payu guy just faded out.  Flappycoin seems like a waste to me, never looked at it but now I am ...

Will I get rich if Flappycoin goes up? Extremely.

Will I dump my Flappycoin if it shoots up in value? Absolutely.  Immediately.Corporations change their plans all of the time.  Flappycoin is a useless shit coin with no value.  It almost hurt physically to sell bitcoins for something so worthless.

Why not wait until it is official? I want to  be rich now.

Why am I telling everyone? Because I'm guessing there will be feeding frenzy on Flappybird especially when noobs get wind of this.  I really want to feel what it is like to be a whale.

You will get rich because you own this coin and are trying to create a pump and dump.

Yes, 100% true no denial.  I'm praying for a huge pump and dump.  However, I didn't own this coin before this morning ... I'd barely heard of it.

I was on the bus from Monterey to Salinas and these two Thai men were sitting next to me. I could understand a few words that they said but I picked up the words Walmart, restroom, flappy, wang, and fired.

Well that's good enough for all of us I'm sure. Where can I send the check? Oh, we don't do that anymore! Where can I make my unilateral one-time non-refundable payment? You've put a lot of effort into this post and it really seems legit.  ;D

Not asking for anything, friend.  Just passing along what I heard.  What you do with the info is up to you ... If can't loose money buying Flappycoin because it is already as cheap as possible because there's nothing lower than 1 satoshi.  It either stays the same or goes up.  Can't go down unless it gets delisted or something.

My sister's brother works at Walmart and she said they were thinking of hiring you to setup a computer at the main entrance and let you make each person their own coin before they came inside to shop.  ;D

Well, for accident I'm a proud 564k Flappycoin bagholder.

10(?) days ago I ended my Heavycoin dump on various exchanges and wanted to withdraw. One of them had particularly high withdraw fee for the minimal BTC I got there, and for a matter of principle, I thought "fuck this". I looked into their coins, looked into Cryptsy's, figured out coins listed on both exchanges, and unfortunately I picked this shitcoin as candidate for transfer. I bought that residual BTC worth of FlappyCoins at 1 satoshi, paid 1 Flappy as withdraw fee and withdrew to Cryptsy.

Guess what, in 10 days I was unable to sell this crap at 1 satoshi ...  ;D

... and I suspect, neither does the OP  ::)

If I was holding an huge bag and was dishonest, it could also worth my time to create a sock puppet account and type some elaborate bullshit to pass the bag along. So, guys, be careful.

This seems highly unlikely to me, no big corporation has supported other crypto than bitcoin yet.
If they would start accepting a coin it would be bitcoin, no doubt about it.

From what I overheard, Walmart has a real religious/family oriented culture.  The drugs/guns thing with Bitcoin is putting them off for now and Dogecoin's activist community will need special handling.  They've got the money and people to boost of Flappycoin backend.  This is kind of like a test in the same way big companies  start new stuff in Topeka and not NYC.  They'll pretty much control the narrative for Flappycoin because there isn't one now.  As I said, I was smart enough to never get into Flappycoin (before today).  No reason.  I will admit to getting burned with Mazarcoin and I'll either be happy or hating myself with Spaincoin depending upon Aurora ...

Hi I am the person who was sitting right in front of those two Thai people on the train, and you are right your Thai is not 100%
the word they said was CAI for Caishen Coin : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=513613.0

But it seems you mistook it for flappy somehow. Sorry about you buying so many flappy coins  :(
However, my uncle who happens to be the CEO of Walmart, asked me to accompany these two Thai people on the train and take them to our HQ
to explain everything about CAI, before they start the process of making it spendable at all the Walmarts in the world.

Uh and I forgot to mention my aunt who works at Mcdonalds, and my cousin who works at Burger King. And I also watched that movie
" Throw Momma from the train ". And not to forget my brother who runs Paypal. I can also confirm that MicroGuy's "Sister's brother" works at Walmart for my uncle, and they will dress him in a CAI suit at the entrance as well.

The thought of Walmart accepting "Flappycoin" is ridiculous. Even if this person was telling the truth about what they thought they heard, it would be more likely two guys discussing pitching the idea to Walmart. The reason Walmart will never accept Flappycoin as it's first crypto? LOOK AT THE NAME.

People never take in to consideration that your mother is not going to want to use "FlappyCoins" at Walmart. She will, if there's no other option or she gets stuff for cheaper, but that is the only way. If Walmart wanted to do this, they'd hire people to launch their own coin. They would not ride the coattail of some coin someone a lot less qualified than their team made. Just the thought that someone might actually believe this is scary.

With all of this said: If walmart launched WalCoin, I would invest.

If it wasn't for that Flappybird game I'd agree with you.  That game is I guess huge. I never actually played.  Essentially this will be Walcoin. They'll redo Flappycoins infrastructure but keep the name.  They don't want the news when if (when) someone uses Walcoins to buy a gun and kill his wife.  Reads different when the headline goes "Culprit used 30 flaps to buy the weapon.  Flaps are the bitcoin variant used by Walmart and other big box merchants ..."

Gox).  No one knows what litecoin is.  Dogecoin is next but they have that whole anti-business left wing thing and their community will resist Walmartification  Everyone out there in flyover country loves Flappybird.  Flappycoin is a shell, no community just bag holders and pump/dumpers.  It won't be a shitty coin after Walmart drops a couple of million on servers, professional programmers, etc.

May I suggest you put your GPU's to use playing video games, and exit crypto. That hardware you bought can take you to fantasyland in many ways.

Youre fucking kidding me right? Walmart is in no way shape or form EVER going to add Flappycoin. More people have heard of Litecoin than your garbage coin that you flashmined. Bye now.

This is laughable to think that more people have heard of flappycoin than litecoin. Also, why would walmart use some trashcoin like flappy when they could hire "progammers" buy "servers" etc etc and just make their own coin? LOL nice try bagholder

Listen to this.  I was sitting on a plane going from Washington to Miami.  As luck would have it, these two negro guys in suits sat down next to me. They started talking in jive after looking around and saying that there was no way anyone could understand them.  I grew up in the ghetto in New York so this speak was right up my alley. My jive talk is kind of rough and better for picking up chicks but I can understand pretty well.

These are the 2 guys here:

Anyway, apparently they worked for Walmart and were both on the same project.  It was random they were negro.  Walmart wants to explore using Cryptocurrencies to reduce transactions costs, etc.  Bitcoin is too Mt. Gox/silk roadish, no-one knows what Litecoin is, Lottocoin is on the list but after the test because the Lottocoin community will require lots of outreach.  Walmart has a deal with in-house McDonald's and the McDonald's people were sketchy about people paying for BigMacs with lottocoin. That will be worked out but not right away.

True story.

Damn OP I wish I could buy your Flappycoin at double, maybe triple the value!  But I'm sure you wouldn't even consider selling since you know the price will shoot up once Wal-Mart starts accepting it!  Gah!  I'd even buy your stash at 5 times the value!  You're so lucky!

Really, that makes me think crypto is getting adopted pretty quickly. It's when big shops like Walmart start accepting payment in bitcoin that you know it is really taking off. If more big shops start accepting bitcoin it should help push bitcoin's price up

Gotten loads of abuse for my post ... Never expected.  Anyway, I definitely heard what I heard and saw laptop screens full of Flappybird stuff, Walmart stuff, consumer surveys, etc.  in our world there's no way Flappycoin trumps Litecoin.  Out in real America it is a different story.  Maybe they'll do it. Maybe not.  Not lying about having a stack of Flap.

Check Poloniex:

https://www.poloniex.com/exchange/ltc_flap (https://www.poloniex.com/exchange/ltc_flap)

Everyone thinks Cryptsy is all there is.

Flappycoin trades below 1 satoshi down in the latoshis.  It just dumped some of today's gains but there's definitely something happening.  It doesn't look or feel like an ordinary pump and dump.  There's activity in their Reddit community about changes also.  I know what I heard that day on the train no matter people want to say otherwise.  I do 100% believe flappycoin is a scamcoin.  Do was Dogecoin but cute memes just grab market share no matter how stupid they are no matter how technically better other coins (vertcoin, darkcoin, etc.) might be.  Big companies love to wrap themselves in cute family type memes ...
