People selling now to the FUD are going to regret it later. Will it be in 1 month, 3 months, 1 year or 4 years? I don't know but I know they will regret it because they sell it to the big guys and they will remain poor for all their lives. Be smart and use your brain, you don't need the "genius" Elon Musk to tell you how to live! Use your brain, once for good, BTC is the future and they don't want you to have it! I'm tired to see how weak people can be. Most of them deserve their fate. They deserve working from 9 to 5 for a miserable salary. Sorry for the rant but I'm just tired to see this. Unbelievable.

You can't really stop them from sharing their own opinion since most likely everyone wants to share what they think about the current scenario of the crypto market nowadays. People should really be careful when it comes to this kind of issue because what they are reading regarding the Bitcoin market might not be real and just some other people's two cents. But if you are here for a long time, you already know how this market works and you already know up to how much money you could put in your investment since everything stands only on your speculations or the other estimations.

I agree. People shouldn't panic after this kind of incidents. They should already be knowing that this market is volatile and manipulable. It won't change forever. So it is better to absorb this and act according to it. Bitcoin has a really bright future and this kind of incidents won't prevent it.

You cannot stop fuds mate as long as they want to keep the market collapse until they see it at the price which for them is enough.. They are blinded because of the situation and they're keep thinking as well it will going down more base on whats in the social media.. If there's no memes and also some factors that most of the ppl don't understand the situation perhaps its ok now and market will not become stagnant..

Why such frustration? BTC need to shake out weak hands... In current situations you have 2 options:
1- cry and beg to stop FUD

You can't stop the person who's always spreading FUD. and I'm sure they were with the pope at the time. why? when the news of china bans this new new cryptocurrency when it has been happening for a long time why people still panic sell? I'm sure the pope took some of his profits with it, and bought at the bottom price, they ruled for it.

no one can stop the FUD until they reach their target and they want to buy cheap, one way is to hold your bitcoins, but most people panic and sell it is a big loss that will be regretted in the future, because of the supply of bitcoin limited and will have a halving every 4 years.

Its no something new into this market and this would continue since there would those factors would be circulating around and as long there are involvement of those big institutions or whales out there

If Bitcoin goes lower, and people who sold it will buy back at lower price, they absolutely won't regret it in the future. Selling is a part of trading just like buying or holding, there's nothing wrong with it. If you start focusing too much on hodling, you might as well never touch your coins in your life, because they can always be more expensive in the future because of limited supply. When the price will reach $300k you will want to se $1 mliion, at $1 million you will want to see $3 million and so on.

The US is about to launch $6 trillion to spend in the US and the number of Bitcoins on exchanges are good signs for the crypto market to move forward.  The market is only in the accumulation phase so calm down.  I've been through a long-term bear market and I'm aware the growth in this one hasn't ended so soon. If there's any FUD I'll be thankful I'll keep buying.

This happend a lot of times and going to happen again because there will always be newbies in crypto. It's always hard to fell this first time.

It's mainly their own problem for not caring and for taking advice from complete strangers on an internet page. Honestly, if a random guy's comment is what makes you convinced whether your savings should be put into an asset or not, you really do deserve to learn a lesson. I've tried to make people avoid FUD myself and it's a hell of a job. People do take decisions based on stranger advices and many of them do trust strangers more than their closer friends. That's weird but they will learn their lesson at some point.. :D

Nah! There are some smart dudes selling to buy back cheap. I think only those who don't buy back will be the ones to regret it once Bitcoin begins a fresh rally. Every shrewd businessman wants to always do a double on their investment and I believe that's what some of the smart traders are doing. As for anyone thinking that this momentary correction signals the end of bull runs, they're mistaken.

Again, just as FOMO is welcomed so also should FUD be. Both are necessary ingredients in this crypto industry. We shouldn't condemn FUD while hyping FOMO.

That's actually part of their learning process. Most beginners would fear the bear market but in time, they would realize the importance of being calm during the dip and taking advantage of it. We can't stop the FUD yet we could help people realize that holding Bitcoin and other good coins is worth it. Uhhh that's too harsh on the newbies. Some are exiting because of the panic but the others are exiting to buy back cheaper.
Every trader has their own strategy. While some win, the others lose and that is what differentiate between them.
People realize only when they lose and so even if they sell in panic it doesn't matter because they will learn a good lesson from it.

I agree, people shouldn't panic when there is negative news.  We should buy bitcoins again while the price drops.  Don't panic, use our brains.  Bitcoin is the future of the world.  So that if we panic, we will lose hope of getting big profits.

Every traders especially newbie should really experience some dumps so they will know how to take advantage whenever the market is in bearish or when at down. If they just keep hoping for pump season there be no more chance for everyone to truly earn as these market revolve in one will lose and others gain. What I learned is to set plans and goal on what to do in different situations and to control trading.

 
The FUD will not stop since they need to convince more to sell and some of the holders are selling because they think they could buy back for a cheaper price too especially because the predictions on youtube and social media are saying that BTC will be $12k by next few days. Some learn only by experience and if they are selling off their coins let me do that as they are risking their money and they can make their decision on what they want to do with their money. The difference when there is shilling from people like Elon Musk is that he could attract users that are not yet in the cryptocurrency market and some were lucky enough to invest and make huge profits.

People who are in bitcoin from long time or understands about the bitcoin knows that bitcoin always have a roller coaster rides. So such drops always gives chance for a buying opportunity to investors or speculators at a discounted price, so those who make the best use of it makes good amount of money as when market recovers it also rises fast.

Not only FUD continues to occur in the market, but force selling also continues. Market Cap loses hundreds of billions of dollars every day. This indicates that the market is still in a bearish condition. The force selling that occurs in the market is due to the fact that many retail investors invest in crypto by borrowing. This loan of funds requires a lower limit, when the assets purchased touch a certain limit, they will continue to force sell to reduce losses. It is the retail investors who invest with borrowed funds that are the most detrimental to the market because it will create bubbles in a short time and can burst at any time, making the market very risky.

To me when hundred are starting to shout about stopping the FUD that's a clear indicator people are panicking for real.
I'm getting bored with all this FUD stuff, it's like a cult denying everything, bitcoin rice is going down 50% is FUD, bitcoin miners getting into trouble, it's FUD, bitcoin is using coal..it's FUD, although one coal mine accident and 30% of the hashrate goes down. Claim after that that 30% of miners use the energy provided by coal... you're FUDing!

I do understand what you are saying but the only reason why People like Elon are successful is because most of the people are weak minded and since the market is indeed Volatile it is very easy for people to trust on anyone who have a big company. People fail to understand that these people are the ones who are only thinking about their welfare. Ofc we have to stop the FUD for sure. But I do think what would work is " right information" , " confidence", " trust in the market".

People are always afraid that Bitcoins will go tulips but that is a whole different scenario. I don't think this is gonna happen for sure in the future. We have seen it grow since 2009.

Yes its really horrible. How people being stupid. I think they Should leave bitcoin they aren't eligible for bitcoin holding. Because they didn't understand what is bitcoin. sometimes new people in bitcoin will always panic about this but they should be patient and hold on for a while and listen to advice from people who have been in bitcoin for a long time, this is just a trick used by the authorities who want us to panic and sell all the assets we have.

Your frustration is valid, but the thing is, we can't manipulate other people's thoughts and emotions, and hence if they feel that Bitcoin and other crypto is doing down and if they don't cash out now, they might have to hold for very very long time for a bull run since no one knows when bull run comes! Best thing is to listen to one's own soul and game action according to it!

Speculators are cashing out their profits and dropping a lot of bitcoins on the market. It's a good opportunity for new buyers to start their bitcoin investments. I just hope people don't take too long to realize this, otherwise the same speculators who sell bitcoins right now are the ones who are going purchase the coins again soon, when btc reaches the bottom, while those who miss the chance will regret again, as usual.

Well, basically those people who easily tag along with the circulating FUD will be those who are just new in the market and are easily get into panic because of the current market declination. But for those who have already stayed long in the market and familiar that declinations and corrections are part of the process and have already been casually happening within a certain point in time, they have already learned not to easily give up into their holdings. Well, it is given for those newbies to easily get afraid to loss due to certain circumstances but if you can carry out enduring the current market declination, it will be worth it for your part.

Well, for me there is nothing wrong if you sell your bitcoin for a good reason and of course, you have already profit from its purchase.
But yes, the FUD was there since Elon Musk was triggered by this and his friend. People who had a weak hand will always be affecting by the FUD that slowly scattered as of now. They even sell their holding even they know that still there is a loss for them and accepting it. However, there is a time that I will ignore social media, they have created FUD for so long and trying to manipulate people. For now, stick on long time investment not on trading which is very risky.

First of all, FUD is a real thing, but it's not what some of you think. Fake news is not FUD. Lies spread by mainstream media is not FUD. FUD is rather the situation on the market where investors sell just because others sell. It's a typical market panic and it's the opposite of euphoria. I sometimes wonder why people don't criticize euphoria but they criticize fear. When you buy after an asset gained 200% in a matter of weeks, you're greedy and will face fear sooner or later. It's important how you'll deal with this fear.

Usually two typical investors in the bitcoin markets are:
-people who buy high and sell low, then complain about FUD, manipulation, whales and such
-people who never buy because the price is always too high or too low for them

In my opinion, FUD happened a lot starting in 2018, therefore the decline in the price of Bitcoin in 2018 was very drastic. Finally, many people
panicked to sell, this year FUD started with the words of Elon Musk. And fortunately the effects are not that severe. Bitcoin is still priced at $ 36k,
which for me is still a pretty good price for Bitcoin. In fact, the decline in Bitcoin can now be an opportunity to buy Bitcoin again, I am sure that

New investors sometimes had to experienced it selling at panic before they will mature in investing. Crypto market is savage, higher risks but higher returns. People who sold at loss are not ready for this market or they are probably looking for a quick rich investment but they are wrong with crypto.

For me now, I don't think there is still FUD happening. There are a lot of possibilities why we are still dumping like because traders, investors are taking profits, or weak-handed, or are panic selling.
And if you will also take a look in history price of Bitcoin all over the time since the beginning, there are some cycle happened, the bull market and a bear market. So it's probably a cycle then, and maybe some people are using the cycle as a reason or basis why they are selling.

It's probably because they think that Bitcoin can go as low as $20,000 again and they are probably waiting for that moment. Although they missed something crucial. A lot of institutional investors are in already.

They value negative information shared by others, rather than learning anything. Big people always take the opportunity because of their thinking like this, when the market goes red they start panicking and sell their bitcoins. By doing this they cannot change their financial situation, they go back to the same situation as before. I'm already getting a lot of calls, the bitcoin market is down, they have already sold their hold bitcoin, again a few people are saying they are preparing to sell. Most of them are new. I have no words to answer them. I left them to make their own decisions.

In fact, they can never make the right decision unless they learn the right way. You can't stay big by following a big man, you have to understand that big man has also come in the market to make a profit. When I saw your post,I thought that another big price crash just hit the BTC market.
The Bitcoin price was moving in the 35-39K USD window during the last week and now it had fallen to 34K USD.This isn't a big deal,if you ask me.We are officially in a bear market and the price might drop below 30K USD.There's no reason to be upset about this.Hardcore Bitcoiners don't complain about bear markets,they just buy more BTC. ;D

You really cannot blame them, I think nobody from forum royalty wants to share their expertise to these weak hands. Why would they their assets in the first place if somebody who is already good at Crypto told them to hold and not sell? when the market is bearish, like currently, the FUD is increasingly being disseminated so that prices will fall further and can buy at low prices. Well you can also say that some of the influencers on social media like facebook and youtube might be giving either false or incomplete information. I admit I do listen to some of the influencers and I do it just to get the latest news or gossip on crypto. But I do not listen on what to buy advise or sometimes their warnings or sensationalist news like "Why do you need to buy Bitcoin now" type of stuff. I do have my own sources and I am also not selfish to share these to family and friends.

In fact, no one can stop the FUD. During this time, there will be always FUD that is spread to make certain crypto markets down. We don't know what exactly behind the FUD. But at least, someone or they may have a certain purpose to make the prices crashed and then they can do something to the market itself. I think some people was spread the FUD to shake down the market and all crypto price, and then they can buy lower. Usually, whales and influencer can make it. When the price low is times to buy and ignored FUD, we have seen many times of FUD in the pass, but the fact is price of Bitcoin keep to go to new high.

Judging from what the industry is turning into from its intended purpose, I have no reason to disagree with you. Here's a world of decentralization built for the people but now we're seeking for approval from a centralized body meanwhile the industry has survive this long with so much impact it has to individuals life yet we still want to give that all up just for a mere approval that we don't need.

The main reason people listen to other people like Musk and make financial decisions is that they don't have even the slightest financial education on how to manage their own money and rely on other people to do that.

We do not get enough financial literacy at school. There they teach us various crafts and sciences and tell us that with our knowledge we have to work from 9 to 5 to make some money.

But like I said, no one teaches us what to do with that money after that so that we can invest or start our own business so we don't have to wait until the next salary.

So people just don't have the basic financial knowledge to use so they don't lose their money.

We don't know where the market is headed, but we can follow in the footsteps of the sharks. They have actually collected Bitcoin in 2019 so far and coincidentally, the value of Bitcoin is increasing day by day. I like Livermore's saying "deal with what we see, not what we think", so now buy Bitcoins with confidence and hold them until they increase in value.

It's not just a guess but some people really do this so they can buy bitcoin prices in a lower range. But I think they are far fewer compared to people who doesn't have any stake on bitcoin beside general animosity. They hate bitcoin because they believe that it is a stupid technology and that it will pop like a bubble.

Bitcoin has dropped ~$22k per coin since your declaration.

Diversification brings calmness, as when one is down others can be up.
Putting all of your eggs in 1 basket, brings fear every downturn as you have no backup options.

Had you diversified into other investments , your calm would be strong, instead of your fear.

People who spread FUD in the crypto community are likely to be in a loss position and vent their feelings by giving fear to other users. in the end they will come back with nothing. bitcoin investors must have strong confidence before buying and prepared mental or had strong faith before put any money in bitcoin. because they will also hodl for a long time. it is not easy to convice someone to have that kindda belief in bitcoin. but i'm also agree with you they are not supposed to spread FUD to the crypto community.

If you know the market and already saw the 2018 you will understand what's happening right now. There is no need to hate price fall or the FUD between investors and the traders. Whenever the fall price happens you do have the change to buy bitcoins at a cheaper price and the market is giving you some discount for buying bitcoins. Anyone should like this situation. So, let the people do panic sell and FUD and we can buy the dip and hodl for long term just like what we did before.

Probably that would be the case but for the big ones, they are on the manipulation side of FUD spreading. Hopefully, more and more investors will have this confidence and patience in the market because that's the only thing that is going to keep those FUDs ineffective.

People selling their Bitcoins doesn't really automatically means that they do panic selling, maybe they just really need the money but somehow the price did a correction, and they've got no choice, or maybe it is just like what you've said, FUD. People who doesn't know how to read the chart will always be have an FUD, and those who are new to cryptocurrency but didn't take a research about how Bitcoin works, that's the short summary for that.

News is just a signal and the crypto market has experienced a lot of bad news. So the bad news gradually no longer affects the market. We need to believe in price charts and act on them. The news is for reference only, if the chart is bad, someone will definitely take advantage of the news to put the chart in the worst direction.
The most recent bad news is the ban from China, this has happened a lot in the past so we shouldn't be too worried. The price drop is a manipulation of value and it has little to do with the news.

Human beings are irrational sometimes in decision making and the excuse they gave was that let them sell now at this price before it becomes dumped more and more but they fail to realize that sooner there will be pump but the position they will be then will be left to them.

This is not the first time we are facing this situation man and everytime we try to create awareness among newbies and panic sellers but everything is in vain.So the best is to ignore all these FUD instead of educating others about it that it's whales manipulation and HODL your coins.Market is going to remain same as newbies traders loss turn them into experienced trader at next point and they learn themselves these market manipulation scehmes.So it's best to enjoy yourself in these tough times rather than getting angry on market.

FUD will still exist and will not run smoothly, there will definitely be temptations that will be faced and all of that is how we respond and think smart so as not to get trapped and maintain assets properly.
FUd does not apply to those who have been in the industry for a long time and don't know what to do with those who are new.

That's scary that the crypto church is growin so fast, turning investors into believers. Because that's what you just said desciribe a member of a sect or cult rather than rational investors.

     First of all, nobody deserves to live a hard life. What everyone deserves is a better life and good opportunities to make it happen. People who easily get swayed by emotions and fear are not to blame. Experience is a great teacher and in time they will realize the mistakes they made and make better decisions in the future. Also, selling and buying is natural because along with the weak handed people, the veterans of this industry also take advantage of the hype or fud which is only natural since nobody invests in anything just to lose money. I know it is easy to go and just look down on people and a hassle to actually try and look into their perspectives to understand them. Which is why a lot of people won't even bother. The world is already full of a**holes. I just wish that you and the others do not act like this just because a lot does.

Your money, your responsibility. It's your choice on what do you want to do with your investment, whether you sell or not. Let them learn their own lesson and I think it will somehow improve on how do they handle their money for future investment because cryptocurrency is not for someone who's been easily moved by someone's word or influence.

In my last job I worked up to 12 hours for several days as an Accounting Assistant and my salary was very poor. My goals at that time was to continue my studies at the University and change jobs for a better income and thus have the opportunity to buy my first apartment to improve my life. I did not aspire to be a rich person only to have the opportunity of the most basic and essential.
I had to quit my job and it was the best decision I made because that way I could learn about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
OP is very right, Bitcoin is our freedom if we let it we are losing its great value.

I can't blame everyone new to this; bitcoin is a financial asset, new investors are coming for profit.
