All crypto is dropping now because of FED. It seems that it’s the start of the bearish market. Should we sell all crypto now?

Bitcoin has been increasing a lot on its price and for me this is just a common thing when we are facing another bearish trend by bitcoin. It seems like that the bearish trend has been starting since a few weeks ago and don't you think this too late to sell your money to the market? Im sure that you know this so well. If you wanna go out from the market caused by panic sell and you can do that.

If you're thinking that you re facing a small lose from your investment and you can cut loss your investment. I've been loosing more than 500k usd now due to the this bearish trend but im fine with it. Im a diamond hand. Market is getting rekt and this needs long term to recover the price of bitcoin and rest of market.

It is a difficult situation and we are getting mixed signals. Last year's beginning was easier to trade. Be cautious and close risky positions, but keep on buying and hodling the big coins. I don't think we will see a downtrend that lasts too long, there is too much cheap money in the market from all the $ printing. Unless the interest rates go much higher (which would also crash the stock market) we are probably safe.  :)

I think it is also bear market we are in but on the other hand it can bounce back to new ath's. Still my bet would be turn into pegged coins (dai,usdc etc.).

It's not all about the fed. Fed was making the whole of market down but it's too dip for crypto to face a big dump like this.

Already started since last quarter of last year and why are you getting aware if the bearish market is happening right now? Don't you watch the market regularly? So many people keep calling this as correction while the fact said the opposite thing than it. If you're aware about this since last month and you can make nice profit by dumping your coin last month.

You should sell all of your crypto and then try to go back in crypto once it will be going or recover again. Is not it too late to sell right now? Think about what will be happening once the market bumping up again?

Market can still recover so don't worry that much unless you are after quick profits, if this is the case you shouldn't be holding right now you should have sold all your coins in Dec 2021, green market have been around since Dec 2020 this is the longest bull season I've seen so far

Altcoins grained huge marketcap within last few months. so i'm considering this dump market as natural, not bearish. Even i think market already dumped as much as it can be, even we may see little more on weekend. Thats it. Now selling in loss, is unfair to me. but you think you want to trade like sell now and buy from dip then you are welcome but selling everything & good bye crypto, that sounds weird.  

It's all depend on how you figure out your analysis, you can sell all cryptocurrency holdings if you wanted to do it without any hesitations. Cryptocurrency price drops normally even in times of bullish market, but we also need to consider the trending of each coins. Just like btc and eth their fluctuations kept raging all over again there's time it pumps and it also goes down unexpectedly.

If you think you have profits selling it right now, then it is okay, it is your choice to sell it anytime anyway. Now it gets you in a position were you lose somehow around 30 percent then I think it is already too late. Not all investments gives you profits always, this is a volatile one compare to traditional investments. If you have the guts and not in a dire situation like you really need the money for emergency purposes, I think it is better for you to hold it and just wait for the bullish market, win big or lose big, decide.

yeah, why not, sell now and wait for the right time to buy again. The price is dropping and this could possibly mean that it will continue to drop and we will see bitcoin even drop $20k if this downtrend will continue. The bear market is here and it could stay for a long period of time, and that would result in bitcoin or the entire crypto market struggling for a while.

You are completely free to manage your digital assets and can sell them when you see fit. As for the current drop in cryptocurrency prices, it is not a destruction but a correction. There are volatility and instability, so do not react to the movement of the market, but you must determine the right time to buy and sell, that's all. :'(

Also the crypto market was highly inflated due to the entries of hundreds of new meme coins. So at some point it was expected to go downwards which is happening now. I wouldn't term it as a crash, rather it's a correction happening for good.

You mean panic sell now? Why would you want to sell when the price starts falling? If you invested to hold for long term, then keep holding. When the price starts to drop, instead of selling, keep on buying more if you can afford to. This way you will be able to maximize your profit. If you are planning to sell now and buy back at cheaper price, then go ahead. It's a risky move and you will have to time the market properly. What if the price no longer drops after you have sold?

As far as I know, freedom lies with every crypto holder. if you own bitcoin and altcoin assets then the freedom is 100% yours. whether to sell or hold or even convert to another crypto is your decision. and you do not have to think or depend on the words and even suggestions from others.

Yesterday, the FED announced that it will probably exit its loose monetary policy even faster because of the high inflation and therefore less money will be available. That is why not only crypto collapsed yesterday/today but also some stocks, especially the highly valued stocks from the tech sector. In my opinion, an overreaction, but it was about time that a little air was let out of the bubbles.

What happened yesterday and is still happening today is definitely more than a correction but it is also not a real crash yet. We have to wait and see not if the prices stop falling now and begin to stabilize or if they keep on going down. If they stabilize now then i think we are still pretty fine and don't really need to worry. I personally would not sell now the prices are already down now and i don't think we will see another -10% from here on, so if you sell now then it could happen that you sell at the low point which would be a shame. If you have the feeling though that the maket continues to drop, then of course you can/should sell now and buy back when the prices are even lower.

We probably are entering a bear market now, it happens but you definitely don’t sell on the way down. Ieep your eye on the markets & buy when you think it’s low enough. We could be 12 months or so from the bottom though. You buy at the bottom & you sell at the top, not vice versa.

If you need the money badly, why not but if you don't, it would be better to wait for a little longer.  As far as I know, after the bullish run of Bitcoin comes the altcoin surge.  If you happen to be around the year 2017, you can see that after Bitcoin Bullrun expires, comes the altcoin market bull season.  Probably history might repeat itself again.  And the current down on the altcoin price might be the transition period from BTC market bull to ALTCOIN market bull.

IMO, I think that decision was yours to be done, and if you feel that way, then what are you waiting for you can sell all you want, the market is behaving always like this because the market has been very consistent for many months that's why it was expected to be like this but who knows it will return to the previous level crypto market behaves like a mystery.

I don't think it's necessary , if we believe the market will improve later like at the beginning of last year, for sure we have a reserve of funds if the market gets worse, but if there is no money , sell while the price is still not too low

Definitely, it was our personal decision and everyone have their won market perspective when to sell and even when to buy.
I've become uncertain how this FED ( or FUD) affecting the price but it was pretty obvious that declines might come being untold. But I think we need not worry about this situation as the storm will go someday and the sun will shine again. I insist to save my crypto while waiting for the moment that the price is high rather than thinking about selling.

Why would you? Shouldn't it be the other way around? The market is bearish so you really don't have much of a choice but to keep it.

If you've been here since 2017 or earlier, this start of the year isn't anything new now. It is just crypto being crypto especially Bitcoin.

I think it's possible to see BTC at $30k, and it's a good thing if $30k can be a new bottom! The price will fluctuate at 30k-40k for some time I guess...

When it comes to "sell all" and waiting for the bottom to buy back it's like scalping, and that can be a hell of a strategy for making more coins for the future, but I don't recommend doing that with "all in", why not to try it with some amount you are comfortable with, it's a nice way for playing with the market, but never risk everything you have for anything!

This is the true approach, it was definitely a drop as we have seen and a bit of FUD is going around the crypto world right now but that doesn't mean that we are not going to have any problems ever again, it just means that we are going to see this as correction and move to accumulation phase.

I get that some people will be upset because of the drop, but we cannot just be upset all the time and not do anything about it. What if we are upset? It happens, you can be sad that bitcoin dropped, but we have to realize it is not a big crash and we just need to pick ourselves up and try to invest or at least hold long enough that it will recover eventually. No matter its a bear or a bullish market, we need to understand that this is the time for buying, and not selling the crypto. Do not be fooled by this news which have only a temporary effect on the bitcoin prices.
If you sell your crypto now, you will regret when bitcoin price will reverse from here and you have no crypto in your possession.

If there is an action plan after the sale, then yes. Otherwise it's better to be a hodler and sell piece by piece for re-purchase.

Wrong assumption is getting spread Everytime the more someone says it, another person is passing same news across, the FEDS aren't the cause of the drop, I don't see how that's possible, their are catalysts that effect drops beyond what the current news and happening in crypto, and besides many people don't mind this dip and are already capitalizing on it, gone are the days anyone is to fear a drop in Bitcoin or crypto-currency.

Well, if you sell all your coins with the current low prices, expect for a huge loss after that. Sell only when prices are at their peaks. Instead, make this as a continuous opportunity to buy coins and hold them for long. What we have at this moment is because of FED, and not because we are already entering the bearish season.  But if we could make this current market condition on our own advantage, then we won't be bothered whenever the market continues to dump as we are now expecting future profits after this. So hold all your coins and just wait for the market to recover before deciding to sell.

I would not suggest selling in dips as it bring more losses than your expected profits. Maybe we should be more patient this time holding our coins because that's the best thing to do.  But if you think of selling your coins because you might fear seeing your investments falling terribly day by day, then its your own choice. But make sure to buy back those potential coins while the market price is still in bargain.

Do you even know what would happened if more people selling stuff? The price would have been even worse than today because of that bad mindset you just gave. I would prefer to watch out the market first and look out the update about the cause of the crash.

Cryptocurrencies dumps doesn't mean the end of the world, it's pretty much predictable especially at this early year.

For such situations, a plan of further actions is always needed.This is the most common phenomenon on the market, today there are stops on all popular exchanges, it's not a problem to use them, plus there should always be usdt in reserve for such cases.

One cold iceburg can sick one titanic but that does not mean all will fall to the same tune. All am trying to say is let one bad turn not convince us that this is the end of it all, this is temporary and historically such speed bumps do haappen quite often so lets take it to be one of those days as crypto is here to stay. Very well said, we have witnessed worst than the current dump and the market services, so there's no doubt that these dumps we are seeing are just temporary. Bear market and bull market is definitely part of the crypto cycle, all we need to know is the right strategy in every situation, and panicking does not help at all.

There are some people who are in sell mode not because they want to completely get out but they think more dip in action will happen later on. A good strategy for those who are doing short-term trades but still, not an assurance that their speculation will be accurate. If you have a long-term portfolio and you can wait, then you don't need to sell as your portfolio will increase in price within time, but if you can't wait so long, you should sell off now. Its too late now because most coins are declining. It seems bearish trend will now take over. So instead of thinking to panic sell because of the continuous price dropped, its better to keep holding and forget about the prices of your coins. Make yourself busy on other things to avoid committing a decision that you might regret later on.

I believe it is a better option than selling at a loss. hold the asset until the market is in a bull trend again. what we can do is maybe collect other assets in a bear trend.

Selling your crypto assets because of the bearish market is in your perils. You are the only one that has custody over your assets if you find it right to sell them off, go ahead. As for me, am still hodling my coins until I see many boosts in it.

No never. I don't think it's a good idea to sell All crypto coins at once. I made this mistake a few years ago and regret it ever since. Selling all coins at once could make us miss out on the next rally. First of all, do we really believe the time of crypto currencies is over now? I don't think so. While the FED decision came as a surprise for some, it was just a matter of time for it to happen. Also Kazakhstan might seem really bad right now but we need to wait for long term effects to be visible. Panic selling is not the best idea. If you need money take some profits, just don't sell all of it. I would recommend to keep at least some coins.

For coins with weak foundations it's better to just sell them and trade them to USDT, for big and strong coins, I think it's time to buy more while there is a correction. I've done this strategy on a few dips ago and it worked for me.

Bear market is the time to buy and not sell mate, remember one of the rules in the financial market which states that "when others are buying, sell, and when others are selling, buy".

I think you’re too late if you willing to sell all your crypto now because the market are already in bearish and most of cryptos are already dropping in value so much.
This one could be the bottom of the bearish market or there will be next bearish market that further decrease the value of the majority crypto coins in the market we don’t really know but we’re already losing huge amount of market capitalization
so, whether you gonna sell your coins right now or wait for the market to bounce it's going to be the same, it’s either the market will be recovering shortly or the market will just enter the cycle of bearish and we’ll need to wait for another year.

This will depend on what coin we are referring, some thought their holding a good coin yet it’s not. The market isn’t showing pump sooner unless there will be some hype to happen. It’s good to accumulate more bitcoin and some top altcoins and sold others and just buy back once the market seems to recover.

I would not suggest people to get out right now. It is already low and getting out at low is not really a good investment strategy. FED keeps pumping up bad stuff all the time, whenever FED talks they always make a bad decision and markets react to it, if you react to reaction then you will only be considering the short term and you will end up losing money. Not every crypto are brought for making short term trades. The overall trend of crypto has been bullish and the current market dip is not as large to call it a bullish trend rather it seem like a stable period after correction. Bitcoin has been to around 40K multiple times even after its all time high and that particular range seem to have a large resistance for its price.

I understand cutting losses when some suspicious coin is in question, but with top coins cutting losses is not always a good idea! In my case, I had more losses than profit while I was trying to dance with the market, but on the other side, I had great profits just from holding some coins for a year or two!

As of the day you made this post, Bitcoin was trading around the $42-$45k which is still not far from the current price Bitcoin is trading on today of around $41k - $42k. From the look of the daily bitcoin chat, it seems Bitcoin price is hovering around a good resistance and might see an uptrend if the support holds but I do think if you didn't sell while BTC price was higher, there's no need at this point cus you might just end up selling low and buying high, just my thought.

What is fed? Do you mean to say FUD and just because the prices are dropping your last resort is by selling them? That's crazy. First of all not all cryptos are dropping but there are a few coins that are increasing.
