You can also see which coins are the biggest losers as well within the last 24 hour.



Now if the altcoin is like top 100 altcoin, it will pretty much follow how btc is going.  



But what about these altcoins like Silva Token, Doge Riseup, Nurifootball etc.




First off, how do you even find out about these coins?


Second, what exchanges can you even find these coins?  It seems almost all these altcoins are related to ETH.  Does it involved pancakeswap/metamask and things like that?   Is it easy to learn?


Third, these coins don't have any correlation to btc?  

When searching for information about the coin you are interested in, you are in addition to the rating Coinmarketcap.com you can also use Coingecko.com. There you will also find information where you can buy the coin you are interested in.

They're likely being added and it's like really you're searching for them.

When it has already dumped, they can make their own pump if a whale pumps them. Most of those altcoins that you have said are tokens or coins that are being pumped and dumped by most of the traders of it on dexes. You can learn about them if you search for them.

Not all the time altcoins are relying on bitcoin's move.

Come one mate, the only one reason why while other coin especially major asset is going down all of them and some random/uknown token is going up. That's a shittoken/coin, they have small liquidated/trading volume with gap order price book.

Off course is easy to be manipulated + jump price really high comparing major coin who really have a tight gap orderbook.

People are find them through various source like poocoin or bsc bot. I think that it's not even relevant to mention all of them jjust because they are still green when the market is dumping and why? it's caused by they are going even deeper than the market right now. Mentioning pump and dump coin as a coin that can survive during the bearish market was a wrong thing.
Don't you take a look at your silva token and how it was getting -50% at this time? that proves that pump and dump token will only be manipulated in a short time but the result will be even worst in long term.

Look at the biggest gainers in the last day.  Shiba tron and Baby Squid Game. 


So do coins on pancakeswap just go up regardless of whether btc goes up or not?  I thought if btc drops big, literally the whole crypto market drops?  So these coins are not affected?

Click in one of those tokens and you will see that they are 100% shitcoins and tokens. See the volume of those coins. They are usually less than $10k. The coins are being pumped by the scammers before they get dumped. Like right now I see three coins over there MetaNFT, Creamefinance and Shibadoge. Based on their names, you should already know they are shitcoins made for scamming people. Clicked on the coins and guess what. The coins are being pumped and dumped.
Don't rely on CMCs "trending biggest earner and recently added" stats.  They are useless.

Shiba tron and baby squid game just scam token. The both got pumped so hard and this pump will not sustain for long term. You can see what will be happening with shiba tron and baby squid next week and im sure that these meme tokens will be dropping drastically. People are just pumping and dumping on pancake swap. Pancake swap was the house for so many pump and dump tokens.
Shit token on pancake swap didn't follow bitcoin but it was getting jumped due to the hype. These coins are not affected but it can drop even deeper or until the price reach zero value.

shitcoins and memecoins hardly gets affected by the movement of bitcoin because they are just coins made for manipulation and their market has their own agenda of bullish and bearish because its getting controlled by someone with big capitals behind it.

It's obviously manipulated the price, they don't have an actual market cap which is easily manipulated by big players.

You must aware if almost all of tokens on pancake swap was scam token. that's proven that if the pump didn't matter as it will be going to the zero value. This token is dead. The same thing will be happening with another token as these tokens created by bunch of scammers.

Never heard such names but obviously these are altcoin memecoin or shitcoins. Top 100 are major coins and tokens that has btc paired. Of course their movement is depend on the overall market. These tokens arent related much to many pairing and possibly only on chain that there have been liquidity. If those paired go down likely they are affected but not much on btc. Only those l1 that are related to btc are gonna get affected and due to this we could say that their price action could also be. But some arent due to hype and few market volatility or lack of trading volume.

Shit tokens have no correlation with bitcoin coz the shit tokens fully manipulated by the whale. The whale can pump or dump it anytime. It will not follow bitcoin even when bitcoin was bullish and there were so many shit tokens become zero. I haven't seen a coin that's definitely in this condition, but it could be from any coin that was hype at the time, because when the hype is down even though the bitcoin market is down they will fly high. this has happened to SOL before, but I've never seen it again. because it rarely happens.

Altcoins that surge when market is down are limited in number and they are harder to predict, it's a general idea that once BTC start going up every altcoins will follow at one point but not this coins, there is no reason to keep such coins I'd rather choose from the list of normal altcoins we all know.

In CMC, you can find many things, including the exchanges for the coins. If the coin is not listed on CMC, you need to wait for some time or ask their team what exchange they used.

These currencies have small market capacities.      You know what you lack op? Motivation. Because if you had enough motivation, you would have already researched about this and have already made profits investing pennies on these shitcoins. With effort, these things are easy to understand and learn about so do yourself a favor and take it seriously, I promise you, you won't regret it.

     Aswering some questions for you and giving a few advice since I also once was in your place it's just that we acted differently. Looking for them is easy with cmc and coingecko which was already mentioned by others. Another way is subscribing on airdrop signals, but don't just buy whatever is being signalled. Instead, look into the vital parts of a project like the developers, white paper, community, tokenomics and usecases. Now if after reading through all that you find a good one, then invest a few dollars that you can brush off when it gets rugpulled and take profits whenever available then leave a few for speculative profits just in case the coin shoots up even more. Getting in paid signals is also an option but that only applies for people with a good amount of money to spare. And lastly, just because bitcoin is dominant, doesn't mean that the whole market will follow it all the time. Hope this helps.

You can check coins, their groups and announcements usually if those coins have interesting updates or achieve a milestone the price could go up even all the coins are down. Altcoins are usually coins that is not Bitcoin so any other coins whether it is from ETH, SOL, MATC or any network it is considered as an altcoin.

One possibility is the manipulation behind it. Don't get fooled by numbers written in front. SilvaToken for example, known exchange is PancakeSwapV2 but look at the volume. The highest volume is within an exchange called Indoex. But check the liquidity.

This token being issued by the scammers and then traded on the decentralized exchange site that was fully operated based on the swap mechanism. I think what you said there op is true. Last time I check CMC and there are coins with weird names that are still rising despite the dump of the top coins. I think those coins are mostly meme coins, some are not meme coins but I think they aren't only popular.

Those coins are already in the CMC, why are you still asking if where to find them?  You can also click the coin inside the CMC and click on the market tab to know if which exchanges are these coins listed. not all of them are related to ETH but some are from BSC and other chains.

When I check the market prices, I always see that altcoins are shaking a lot. However, I also experienced that when main coins such as BTC,ETH go up, altcoins generally go down. The move is quite big actually. BTC is originated in 2008. Back then there were no altcoins. When BTC became popular, altcoins occured. In 2013 and 2014, altcoins occured and they are still growing. In 2017 there were 600 new altcoins, therefore they had to depend on BTC. As they are quite a lot, it is impossible to follow all of them. Therefore, in my opinion we can say that altcoins heavily depend on the whole market. :)

I have been trading shit tokens during the bearish market and yeah it was doing so well as long as you are early joiners. It will be pumped by the big player no matter how condition the crypto market. Im not even feeling doubt about that. I can still make money from the shit token. Shit token being pumped and sometime this will be also following bitcoin price movement. It's called shit token who can stand alone against bitcoin trend but this is only for short term. these coins are usually new coins, coins that are undergoing new developments such as listings on several exchanges or something, or the team deliberately makes the coin go up to get people interested. There are many reasons why a coin goes up when the bitcoin price is down.
however, how to find it, I usually just look at the coinmarketcap, and see which coins are falling the lowest, and which coins are going up high. with that we can get that information.
Second, I usually choose coins with large exchanges, such as Binance, Kucoin, Huobi, and so on. if the coin just climbs on a pancake, or any other DEX, I doubt it.
and thirdly, almost all coins have a correlation with bitcoin, except for stable coin. if the price of the coin goes up during a bear market, there will be a reason for it, except for a scam coin that deliberately makes it look like a pump to attract new investors before making a rug pull.

Avinoc is one of those tokens, it's been trading @0.4$ for few months already on Bkex exchange even while the whole market is down this token wasn't affected at all.

That is not how it happens; I mean not technically how it happens (sort of happens). When bitcoin goes up, the price of altcoins versus bitcoin goes down, but when the price of bitcoin goes up in dollar, altcoins go up as well.

It may not go up as much as bitcoin, hence why they are dropping in value against bitcoin but they are gaining in dollar. Look at the past 2021 year. Look at all the times bitcoin moved up, and look at all the times altcoins moved up, you will see that it is almost exactly the same date. Doesn't mean that it is 100% always like that, but the majority is always like that. So, bitcoin going up in dollar value means altcoins going up in dollar value as well.

Several factors trigger Altcoins to rise when the market trend is falling .

1. The presence of big news can trigger hype among traders to look at Altcoins that are able to break through high bulls when the market is bearish

It's not fake as it was on the decentralized exchange site but that's fully manipulated by someone who has been pumping the price of token by adding massive liquidity at once. This is triggering people to invest in the coin as well.
People are seeing the performance of this token was being different compared with the majority of altcoins in the market caused by that. The fact that shit tokens are always doing this kind of pump and is suspect some developers of shit tokens have been pumping their own tokens. This can be a trap.

Tokens with unusual increase for the last 24 hours are very high risk for me.
As you said, there may be people who are behind this pump so it can look better and possibly attract naive buyers.
Of course, people will look at the biggest gainers and will try to get a hold also.
But unfortunately, they are already buying at the peak and in no time, it will drop massively.

Alright, I'll help you understand a little bit what I've understood. that is

- We used to use smart contracts. then with that we can get information from websites like poocoin. The data we get starts from liquidity locked terms, communities, and also real time charts to get accurate prices.

- You won't get those coins on CEX exchanges, nor will their hype follow the bitcoin trend. they can be found in swap dex like uniswap and pancakeswap.  understanding ethereum and metamask will be easier in the future, because everything about the coins you mentioned is based on the ethereum network and its similarities. and ethereum is very simple not difficult to understand.

- That's right, the trend in tokens created on the Ethereum and regular BNB networks already has its own community to create hype. because they are tokens with small trading volume they will not count bitcoins. in fact they are really controlled by the community.


Just a little understanding from me. I am also still learning here, understanding everything is indeed difficult but I think by learning the basics it will be easy to understand in the future.

First, you can monitor the ANN of the coins or tokens in the Announcements section of this forum so you can see their respective websites and can ask questions directly to the dev or their team.
Second, you can look from CMC or CoinGecko to see which exchanges have those coins or tokens.
That's natural because the tokens are based on the ETH network so they are always tied to ETH, especially in price.
PancakeSwap is an exchange that has a large list of those tokens before they enter the major exchanges and you can use Trust wallet in addition to Metamask.
Third, almost all of those coins and tokens correlate with BTC, especially with the movement of BTC. If BTC moves, then those coins and tokens will move too but not all will go in the same direction as BTC.

I'm sure it seems Coinecko and Coinmarketcap are not random to be listed on their website.

because indeed the movement of BTC will create a new movement for altcoins. indeed not all altcoins will be affected by the trend made by BTC. because usually when a decline occurs, it's the tokens from the new project that get the pump instead. but situations like that only happen very quickly. immediately after the pump, they will return to the trend formed by BTC. it's all because of the dominance of BTC in the crypto market which is still high.

In my opinion, the first point is correct looking at the first information on CMC for the coin/token to be reviewed. seems easy to see. Altcoin dominance goes up as you said, always following market trends and indications of rising because of Ethereum, Ethereum is the king of altcoins if the king rises below it also rises this is very reasonable when Ethereum has reached a certain price then crypto bookies increase other altcoins.

Coinecko and Coinmarketcap have their own rules for listing everything on their sites, because they also don't want to litter their lists or lists with lots of dirty coins which generally have no use value or sale value in the market, so obviously it won't be arbitrary to agree on each and every one of them new tokens that do not meet the requirements to be listed in it.

Most of the shitcoins are unrelated to the up and down of Bitcoin price so far, because there is a lot of manipulation there, the price is controlled by the big whale inside and they have a pump and dump schedule in line with their program. So, for me shitcoin is not healthy and is not a good investment field because of that.

I am yet to see altcoin that goes up when bitcoin and whole market of cryprocurrency is down. Most altcoin that temporarily rise when market is down are most likely been pumped or the excitement of new listing help the demand for such coin. Sooner or latter, every altcoin go down with the market sentiment! Bitcoin prices is important in determining the pace and growth of cryptocurrency, most altcoin are yet to decouples from it!

For me, the best thing in these cases is to go to Binance, do a good technical analysis of which coin is in order to find a good pump and dump, in Binance there are coins that are rising almost 30%, and these coins are the ones that have always existed and their way of life is pump and dump, for me the queen of these types of currency is Doge, but now many have come out, and these currencies have shown that they are improving, that is why I would not complicate myself, I I would go to that Exchange that is very safe and start looking for potential in the pump and dump coins.

This is very difficult to spot. But if you are a risk-taker, you can spot this with shitcoins on a random chain like new altcoins that are published and scheduled to be listed on a huge exchanges, even how the market is dumped, this altcoin could possibly pump huge.

Second, I think what you mean here is Decentralized Exchange (DEX). If yes, I can say yes, these platforms could involved because most of altcoins now are starting on chains, like there are some Initial Dex Offering(IDO) you can participate to their token sale using DEXs and trade after the sale.

Like you said, coins at top 100 has the potentials to grow whenever btc goes uptrend because of their popularity which contributes to their good market cap. The ones that go down are mostly the meme coins which has no sensible use cases.

I believe the information on coinmarketcap and Coinecko is only validated coins.

To be listed on Coinmarketcap and Coinecko it seems that there are requirements that must be met first,
 so I'm sure new tokens will not be listed there quickly.

Coins that are on the top 100 did not land there for anything they have investors' support and they have proven their worth in the market, if you have a new coin that is struggling to move because of lack of volume and lack of development you have to think twice and move to another coin, some coins are not worth holding on, you can be patient but there should be a limit on how patient you are on your investment.

Most of the coins here are set so far bitcoin price is not related to up and down because there are lots of prices are controlled by whales inside and they have a life and Rampurhat Shitla having problems with their program so it is not healthy for me and because of this it  Not a good investment I think it would be good to add something because a good amount of profit can be taken from Alert Coins if you can buy some talk coins

Unfortunately, I completely disagree with you. If you think that the prices of top100 coins have nothing to do with the price of BTC, please list at least three that have continued opposite trend for a 2 weeks to the Bitcoin price. I doubt you would show any such coin. At the bear market, it happens that a coin has a trend opposite to the Bitcoin price, but it is always short-lived and usually after an important milestone has been announced.

Those coins which do not follow the market can maybe meme coins or useless coins. Because the market depends on traders if coins are not following the market that means market traders are not interested in these coins. So It is my suggestion don't invest a penny in these coins.

Are gaming coins really a good for an investment? I am a little bit curious if they are even worth the hold, since a lot of games just pretty much die out regardless of how great it was pre-, mid-, and even post-launch.
Sure it can be profitable in early launch, but from the games even popping up right now I had doubts that newer games could even get to see the sun.
