My feelings are still very good for cryptocurrency so far although there is a bit of regret that I experienced for being late in selling my assets before the market dump occurred, but I have never really worried about my assets for now because all I hold is Bitcoin, BNB and ETH. The rest is just the USDT stablecoin that I got through trading in the market before the dump happened. I thought that was all I felt and nothing else bad had happened to me.
How about you ?

I guess everyone can relate, not buying when the price is very cheap. Just like when ETH was it's lowest in early 2018 or 2019, just below 100$ and me thinks that it is still expensive. And then we have a good bull run and it reaches a new all time high of almost $5k in 2021. That's crazy profit right there if I have invested a lot of money on ETH. But it is what it is, just have to learn from it and move on. And then wait for the next big opportunity in this bear market to fill our wallets with cheap alt coins again.

Right, what you have said but how many investors agree that the price is low enough to start buying back? most will still be telling you that there is a possibility that the price will continue to dip and will eventually miss the bottom and even during recovery, investors still want to give an excuse that it might be a trap. A lot of investors must have been a victim of this but you have to take a stand knowing why you are investing and what you are investing in.

Everyone has their own regrets of not selling when its high and not holding when its still low and vice versa. These are examples of the mistakes we usually did in the past but its not like we can always get the actual or perfect timing to sell or hold isnt it? Sometimes a good pump arrived on the least we expect it.

Just as the others of selling too early, not selling at ATH and not buying when it's totally low. That's the same mistakes as the others and you'll hear that at most times.

And that's going to come from new investors and as well as old investors that have been there for several years. This mistake for sure will happen again in the next upcoming years.

Basically my biggest blunders were about not selling my crypto when it was reaching the peak price. I were only watching the market without try to take the profit from my investment. this is the worst mistake that i have ever made. I can make my portfolios 5 times even more right now if i were doing it in the past. I have been learning a lot not to hodl anything for long term. The best thing to take the profit when it was reaching the peak price.

I think that everyone who has been in the crypto industry for a long time has made some minor or major mistakes. I made the most mistaken investments at the end of "the golden age of the ICO", at the turn of 2017/2018, when, encouraged by past profits, I invested dozens of ETH in projects that turned out to be total mistakes. The main thing is not to break down, but to learn from mistakes.

Many mistakes are made by people in crypto, especially regarding investment, for example it is not right in choosing coins to invest in, there are even some people who invest not meeting knowledge standards, so coins that have reached ATH or at high prices are not released, until finally the price of the coin fell at a low price, this error was caused by a lack of knowledge
Mistakes like that I think always exist from year to year and they have to take responsibility for that decision.
no doubt knowledge is very important and we cannot rule it out,
continue to learn and gain experience then it will let us know what to do in investing

I lost a lot of money when I was liquidated on an ETH loan. From now on I'm not using lending platforms. Fortunately, during that time I found out about Candle Chain, which is superior to Ethereum in that it has 0 transaction fees, two second finality, and 80k TPS. I completed their bounty program and got 25k coins. I also realized that there are a lot of superior L1s out there compared to ETH, so I'm not sad about my loss. I will make it back in spades.

I think most people have committed a series of blunders when it comes to their investments, in my case the biggest one was that I did invest in a new altcoin during the ico craze of 2017 and lost roughly 40% of what I invested there.

Now the investment I made was small so it did not destroy my capital, but even then it is something that bothers me as I left myself be influenced and become part of the hype that was so high at that time.

My biggest mistake in cryptocurrency is not to sell even though I have made a substantial profit from what I hold.I have worked on many projects and bought and invested a lot of coins from which there was once a lot of profit but did not sell then. The market is dumping a lot now. There is a lot of loss from all the coins I hold at the moment. That is why I say that my biggest mistake is not to sell anything on the rise of cryptocurrency.

For real, I could have had enough money that I wouldn't have to work again for the rest of my life. Then I watched it all go down the drain. Fortunately I filled my bags with a lot of new projects, like CNDL and NEAR, so I'm set for the next pump.

There are always going to be regrettable moments in crypto because we are still among the early people in this space, we will always make mistakes as we navigate the crypto ecosystem. The important part is learning from these mistakes.
In my case, I sold some coins earlier than I should and I still regret my action now, if I had hodl, it would have made a big difference in my portfolio, but sometimes it is not easy to predict the outcome of a project.

everyone seems to have made mistakes in crypto investments that resulted in losses. at the end of 2021 I bought coins even though it wasn't much but until now there is still a sense of regret. the coin that I bought has reached ATH and I already have a 30% profit but I don't sell it right away because I still hope it will go up again. until now I still hold it because the assets are minus. btw the coin I bought is $ROSE.

Not jumping on the 'hype' early. I know this is what the market craves, but I'm very slow on it, if I have to be at least one early big and then get out before it goes down, I could have made a lot of money already.

And just like the rest, not buying during the last bearish market because they are very cheap. And now that we are again in this cycle, although the price is not that cheap as compare to 4 years ago, I wouldn't like to make the same mistakes so I will buy solid altcoin projects.

My biggest mistake so far is dropping money on a new project, following ambition with big hopes but we know it's one of the things that hit us hard.

After that incident until now I understand one thing, even if a project is promoted by a large exchange, it is not necessarily profitable, the fact is that above us there is a pope who has already entered. When investing small investors like me will only end up on the edge of obscurity.

Definitely hesitant of realizing the tremendous profit thinking that it could go higher, I think most of us also regret missing out the right timing for our market moves and get swallowed by the greed.
I mean just imagine missing the chance of becoming rich that are right in front of your eyes just because you want to get more richer and alas the market moves against your market decision and as a result you are losing instead, so ridiculous but happened in many of the veteran traders and holders' investment and asset management.

My biggest regret so far was not buying bitcoin while its price dips into $3k. I may have owned a lot of bitcoin at the moment if i did take the risk that time. But still, i make sure i was not stucked with that regret, as i always take every opportunity that comes, and buys in every dip. What could be more regretful is that you keep on missing chances when you already know that its worth to buy, and yet you never take the risk and chances.

Not only in ethereum, but also in bitcoin too. Who could have thought that bitcoin turns very expensive these days that only a big whale can afford to buy a whole bitcoin. I guess everyone here has our own mistakes and regrets, but there's no late in crypto. We can still regain those we have lost in the previous years, just be patient and trust the process.

You know, riding on the hype and take advantage on it while its here is somewhat exciting yet risky and scary at the same time. The reason why only few take the risk and majority just play safe and never invest in hyped coins. But for me, i also wish i was able to buy on that hyped coins and sell them before the hype ends. There may be huge profits that is waiting for me. And that made me realized to sometimes take the risk and earn profits than to play safe and get scared, and never make profits at all.

I know that people have been making various mistake and can't we just try to learn from there? Mostly of people will always be falled into the FOMO and they are forgetting if they have been buying their assets at the peak price. I think that anyone has ever made various mistake. Well my biggest mistake is that i am not a type of person that can really hold when the market drops drastically i am easily become depressed and discourage, and now i see that it was a big mistake because if i hold i maybe earn a lot just like what happened to bitcoin holder i am sure that the investors who buy btc on dip in year 2018 and hold it till year 2021 when btc reach 60k$ ATH i cant imagine the profit they can get, so for now before we decide we need to think twice.

I would say the biggest regret I have this year with crypto is that buying Luna coins at such a high price was certainly the saddest thing for me while in the crypto space because after the Luna coin prices dropped, I had to lose a huge amount of money and with this incident will certainly be a lesson for us especially for me that not all coins that have high popularity can survive in the long term except Bitcoin and some other potential altcoins.

There is nothing new in your history. Millions of new investors go through this negative shitcoin investing experience. Each time events are repeated only with the difference that the name of the cryptocurrency changes. You are not the first and you are not the last. It seems that this is an infinitely closed cycle. There will always be newcomers who want to get rich as soon as possible, investing in hype projects with the subsequent loss of their money. And those reasonable people who have received this invaluable experience will not commit these erroneous actions in the future.

Mistakes are inevitable in the Crypto space, even those experts and whales sometimes makes mistakes by bagging shitcoins which the projects failed. I had been in the space for a duration of 2years. I must say, the space needs critical thinking before going or purchasing a coin. One of my biggest mistakes in Crypto was when I bagged Shiba. I bought it when it has already hits its ATH price and immediately I bought it. The way this Shiba Inu fall, I nearly got a heartbreak because I use half of portfolio to bagged it. That mistakes keeps reminding me not to hop into any coin that already made a bullish run up.

Cryptocurrency is a new thing that everyone wants to learn. It is quite difficult to avoid the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Everyone has made the first, second, and maybe even repeated mistakes in investing in the crypto world, especially if you are an investor or a fan who is too following the latest news and happenings in the crypto world which are not necessarily true and the most common is stuck at the high buy price and cut loss at the low price when the market correction occurs.

This time i can still earn small amounts of profit. I remember when i didn't take a half of million dollar. This maybe my biggest muistake in my life. We learned from bitter experience that the top altcoin position does not guarantee the safety of the investment value, Luna coin was included in the shitcoin after the crash almost to dust because the loss value was 99% of the previous price of $ 100. I'm sure in the future the same thing will happen to other altcoins so be careful about investing in altcoins and better choose investing in Bitcoin.

I haven't thought about the biggest mistake I've made in cryptocurrencies, and I'm trying not to do it again.
Maybe I regret it but it's no use if we just stay silent and don't try to turn that mistake into a lesson and try to do better than before.
So if you've made a mistake regarding cryptocurrencies, you should notice it right away and try to change so it doesn't drag on.
I think that's what we can do to bounce back and be better than before.

I only regretted a few times when selling for just a small profit, and it happened a few times when I was new and involved with the industry and still had some concerns about crypto.
and what's more regrettable is that when I sold only a small profit in a few days, the coin went higher and that made me regret it.
but all of that became a valuable lesson and I also studied everything well so as not to repeat it because I really wanted to get a satisfying profit and it was proven, because patience and not panic are important things for satisfactory results.

Selling at the bottom price, not take the profit when it was getting a hard pump. Anyone has ever experienced the same mistake like me. Im regretting my mistake right now. I think that people have learned from their past experience but i do believe it's not only me. So many members in here have been experiencing the same thing. We can see how many people here are writing almost similar experience. That proves that if volatility was the main problem.

Going future trade without fully understanding stop loss and liquidation's risk management so losing one grand. Pretty stupid, I know but I'm treating future trade as a gamble hence going into it without any expectation or know-how. Nope, not even trade on a test account. I should've known better even treating it as a gamble.

The wrong thing that I've done in crypto and I consider this as my biggest mistake is when I bought shitcoins. I was thinking before that "if I bought cheap coins like them, I could make a huge profit". However, it was too unfortunate that even checking my wallet during the last halving and Bullrun, I'd never see it pump nor did I have the chance to sell them for they are not already yet listed to any exchanges.

The lesson I get is not to buy cheap coins anymore, they are already been disposed of that is why they are very cheap.
We have rather choose those pricey coins as we can assure for a profit and market potential.

I still remember what my biggest regret but I have already moved on with that. It was the time when I sold my coins at an early stage before the listing and I thought I got a good amount of money but after 2 months, they listed it in Binance and it was a slap in my face. the price multiplied up to 20x and I could buy a house and lot if I was just patient at that time but what can I do? it's all over and I still remember it now though more than 4 years have passed.

LUNA was big project and top coin, so who know that it will go SCAM  in a few days. I also invested at LUNA but at low price but i lost small amount.

Investing in a project just because the roadmap or the features or basically how great what it offers (or will offer) is. Everyone can promise the worlds to you but actually delivering it is another problem, on the other hand even if they delivered a great project, that doesn't mean they are not scammers neither.

So, we are talking about project itself not mattering at all, if the team could ruin it in a single second. I invested into a project that was much ahead of its time, it was amazing, and I could have made 15x profit, and yet I waited and they rugpulled. They could have made so much more money if they didn't, but for some reason they did, never understood why, but that was silly of me to trust them.

What have been your biggest blunders so far when it comes to cryptocurrency? We all know that how much volatile the industry is. And the things that made you regret your decision? Can you share your thoughts, guys?
The biggest mistake in terms of Cryptocurrencies was losing a huge amount of money when I decided to stake one of the altcoins and at that time the token was destroyed with the price in the market, so that at this time the altcoin no longer has a price, let alone a price drop of up to 1000% and the decision to long term by staking token

There will definitely be times when we regret our decisions, but it doesn't have to be for long. sometimes decisions that make the results do not match expectations are due to a lack of calculation and research, full of haste, too greedy, and self-confident. So the result is quite the opposite.
Just like I was once overconfident holding shitcoins that ended up being worth nothing. even though if I sell that day, I can profit hundreds of dollars which I think is a lot. however, it really hasn't been my fortune that the coin collapsed overnight.
I can just laugh right now (actually very sad).

The biggest mistake in cryptocurrency is to invest Luna coins.I invested in buying Luna coins at very high prices. But this coin turned out to be a scam and I became very poor. This is why I say that the cryptocurrency invested in Luna Coin was my biggest mistake.
Very sad, not only you i think huge number of investors hold LUNA coin even they bought at too high price. I see a user hold LUNA worth 1 million USD now it turn on 200$-300$. LUNA was big project and top coin, so who know that it will go SCAM  in a few days. I also invested at LUNA but at low price but i lost small amount.
Such is the risk of cryptocurrency and I don't think any of us would have thought that something like that would happen to Luna,
maybe if you look at you it looks like you are a little lucky by losing a small amount compared to others even though a loss is still a loss

Here are some mistakes crypto traders make

1. Not having a goal

Starting crypto trading without setting a goal can make your investments go haywire and not prove as cost-effective and lucrative as they can be otherwise. A well-planned goal helps you navigate cautiously in the crypto world. You should have a clear purpose in mind before jumping onto the crypto bandwagon. The motive should not be driven by Fear of missing out (FOMO) or by the desire to make a quick buck.

2. Thinking short term

It is highly advisable for investors to view the crypto investment as long-term due to the volatile and immature nature of the market. Since new things are being tested constantly in the crypto market, it is still nascent and unpredictable. The market could be booming at one moment and withering at the other moment. A long-term approach will help you reap better returns.

3. Directly jumping to trading without any knowhow

It is wise to not trade in the crypto market directly without proper know-how due to the highly mercurial nature of cryptocurrencies. Thorough research including fundamental knowledge and technical analysis about cryptocurrencies is extremely essential before investing in cryptos.Education is the most fundamental part of trading. Anyone who wants to start trading cryptocurrencies should learn how to do it the right way. Crypto trading can be quite easy if you know how to identify the right market conditions and take advantage of them. Are you interested in learning crypto trading the right way?, join my classes.

4. Having no solid plan

The importance of a plan in crypto trading can’t be overemphasized. A well-laid-out plan should take into consideration the entry and exit points before actually getting into trading. The entry point is the price at which the cryptocurrency is bought and the exit point is the price at which it is sold with a certain profit margin. Seasoned investors and newbie crypto traders should never trade on the basis of belief, as they would end up constantly chasing peak prices.

5. Trading on a platform that is not secure

It is needless to say that you should always opt for cryptocurrency exchanges that are trustworthy, secure and robust. With the proliferation of crypto platforms following the steady expansion of the crypto industry, many criminal activities and fraud are also being perpetrated through hoax crypto exchanges.

So if you too are looking to begin your crypto journey, steer clear of these 5 mistakes

I am concerned to all investors for the high losses of Luna coins, they have lost the remaining money of their lives in Luna coin investments, including Binance Labs which has invested $3 million in Luna until it is still holding on to the published address, so there is no hope for recovery luna prices even though binance still supports trading Luna coins because considering nothing is impossible in crypto for a miracle of recovery for all Luna investors.

In the crypto world, we all must feel unpleasant things and regrets in something that cannot be achieved, such as when investing we have made a profit but still maintain and want the profit we get to be greater but what happens instead we experience losses and we cannot maintain until the value returns high because the panic we feel is very excessive.
We have experienced losses from all investments but there was a recovery of losses after the market increased, but imagine if you are involved in investing Luna coins then you have to surrender to losing 99% of the assets you have, anyone will not accept unreasonable losses because of top altcoins too potentially rugpull like shitcoins.

We have had bad experiences in crypto, as you mentioned earlier, crypto will make us even more passionate when we get a small return, so we try to hold it until it reaches a high price, but something will happen beyond the predictions we made, that the coin that has reached high prices fall at low prices so fast, sometimes this greed is what we need to keep away, it's better to make small profits, but can always make the right investment

I never rarely made a mistake. I think that my mistake was a common mistake that has ever made by so many people. I didn't take my unrealized profit. I lose all of it. This time i can still earn small amounts of profit. I remember when i didn't take a half of million dollar. This maybe my biggest muistake in my life. Im too greedy and i was not even taking the best opportunity. This time it was going down to the around 30k. That's very sad to see that

It's a natural thing that everyone feels to be greedy to get future benefits. All humans have a nature that will never be satisfied with what has been obtained. Grateful to be something that has been realized after everything gets a big loss.

Committing mistakes is found to be natural as nothing is made perfect.
But what I see from the situation, this even makes us more aware of what we are doing and it even helps us to be better. Committing mistakes helps us to understand and have a clear view of how volatile is a crypto market that most of us have been just underestimating. This serves as a teacher and guides us in the right direction as we are now avoiding it to happen again.

In the cryptocurrency market, as in real life, there are many mistakes that traders make that can lead to the loss of the deposit. At the same time, small mistakes can add up to one very big one, but it will necessarily be due to greed. So all the big mistakes are from greed.

Don't sell high and don't buy low, I think most people will make this mistake even seasoned investors. Most of us will always be skeptical and wait until the opportunity has passed to realize that we have missed it. This is very common and many people are still making this mistake.
The market always has an opportunity so don't regret forever but look forward, turn the mistakes of the past into lessons to not make the same mistake in the future.

It is very common for people to let hype to take over them and begin to buy coins they would not buy otherwise for exorbitant prices and then lose money because of it, it is because of this it is important to resist hype as much as possible and only invest in a coin when the price is relatively low.

Because if you try to obtain profits once the price of a coin has grown significantly then the chances you will lose a lot of money increase to the point that it is way easier to lose money than to earn it during such a trade, and taking a position when the odds are against you is never a good idea.

What have been your biggest blunders so far when it comes to cryptocurrency? We all know that how much volatile the industry is. And the things that made you regret your decision? Can you share your thoughts, guys?
Biggest mistake was to not buy more bitcoins when they were cheap as few hundreds of dollars, to not have worked more often on micro tasks to earn plenty of satoshis, to have sold bitcoins when they were cheap just to show people it was possible to earn money from the internet and that bitcoin is a real currency, which has a real value and demand. These are mistakes which make me regret on the present moment, because they would make total difference in life right now for the better. Anyway I can't and shouldn't complain about it. I think we must be thankful for what we have achieved, even if it is not the life standard we dream of.

Every conquest matters. We should be proud of them and be aware without God none of them would be possible to be reached.

Everyone makes mistakes and it is natural for humans to make mistakes in their lives in any case. Including the mistakes we make in the crypto
world, it seems that many people make the same mistakes as you. Because who would have thought Bitcoin could rise above $60k in 2021,
if I had known Bitcoin would pump really high in 2021, so I would previously collect as much Bitcoin as possible when the price was cheap.
But we should not be too long in regret for the mistakes we have made, we must be able to rise and learn from the mistakes we have made before
and try not to repeat them again. We really have a lot to be grateful for in this life, so we can appreciate what we have gotten from crypto,
even though it's not as big as we expected. But the future of crypto is very bright, so if we can learn from every mistake we make and try to correct
our mistakes. So it is very possible in the future we can become successful in the crypto world.

The biggest mistake in cryptocurrencies, especially altcoins, is greed. The desire to get more and faster. Many of us outlive trends and when a good opportunity to sell coins at a good profit comes, we don't do it. If they manage to earn x3, investors keep on waiting for x10, if they manage to earn x10, investors keep on waiting for x25, etc. This is the big mistake, and then these same investors get caught up in FOMO, and they start counting how much they would have earned if they had withdrawn the money in time.

The biggest mistake in investing in crypto is not getting Bitcoin when it's still very cheap and releasing assets easily because of the panic that occurred when there was Fomo about regulation that was happening in Crypto so it made me regret that at that time I released a lot of assets because some countries banned Crypto so at that time the price dropped very deep and the biggest mistake was not to repurchase which made me slightly regret the decision I made because I was less optimistic at the time.

Greed is the worst way of trading and investing activity because they don't realize the impact of the risk of loss without recovery if investing in new altcoin and low volume, not all altcoins are worth holding long term for higher profits but worth taking profit if you already get 2x profits, many traders Beginners are attracted to FOMO for new project investments because of the lure of high profits but that eventually losses await them.

There are several mistakes I did in the past 5 years of my crypto trading. Several times I got the chance to make huge money but I missed it thrice because of my greed for more now I can say I learned a bitter lesson now my condition is like do not wait when achieving your fixed target. We should learn from our mistakes and should not be enticed when there is an aggressive move in the market always book the profit at the right time so that will not repent later on. I hope in the next bull market I will not repeat my mistakes again. My biggest blunder was not to sell my DeepOnion coins I was waiting for more push but now the value of DeepOnion is approx 0.10 cents but I did not sell it in even 8$ per coin. What kind of mistakes we are looking here? The one that is only related to trading or investing? Or this is general? Like mistake of not believing in crypto as early as possible? If both are allowed then yes that is also one of my mistakes here and I considered it as my main mistake.

I realized that time is important here in cryptos. The earlier you get in the more the profit can come to you because at the beginning most cryptos are still cheap in value. Good cryptos like btc started with a zero value then it moves in cents and so on. The second one would be mistake in selling my coins thinking that it was already their highest. It was not top coins though, that is why.

There are lots of mistakes that I made when it comes to cryptocurrency. One of those is when I missed the opportunity to buy a potential coin during the bear market and bought it during the bull season because of the fear of missing out. I listened to the trend without analyzing the market situation. The good thing about that mistake is that I learned how to deal with every market situation by knowing when to buy and when to sell.

You may not focus on taking 3x profit because you are interested in following news trends about new rich people from altcoin holders in the last few months, I also have the same experience but in the future I will apply a trading pattern to take profit even though it is above 10%. Aggressive movements in the unpredictable market have caused some people to lose funds from futures trading

That's because it's part of us, we all want to have more profit despite that it is already in front of us that we can take it out. But because of greed, we tend to lose and miss that part of taking those profits that should be for us.
It's a mistake but teaches us a lesson that this market is truly volatile and you shouldn't missed that part of making profit or else you will have to wait again for a quite awhile before it happens again.

sounds ridiculous but that's happened quite frequently. most of us, if encountering such chance of making profit just documenting it, and instead refuse in realizing that profit. the end result as you already know going down instead.
the nature of investing is always like that, it always goes against our investment planning, we think it gonna have even higher bullish, but in the end it goes down instead.
that's the reason greed isn't really a good thing in investing, it always incur loss at the end of the day.

Mistakes like this will not happen if people start to come here with a complete understanding, more responsibility to each other, because in the cryoti room only we can control anything, that's why I say knowledge is important before we enter crypto, how many people who are successful in investing are not born by themselves, but they learn the investment work system, even know in advance the coins they want to invest in
Unfortunately people do not come in here with that much knowledge, they come in here with the idea that we are going to end up with a profit or not eventually and that is all there is about the current situation. I feel like we should be avoiding such newbie mistakes and just focus on profit, we should be learning a lot more about reading on a project and figuring out if they would be great in the long run, and learning about fundamental analysis of crypto as well.

Those things matter a lot and if do not really care about these and look for them carefully then we are not going to make the profit part neither. Newbies needs to spend a bit of time before they invest in order to learn this.

And you exactly noticed it. Perhaps, who at least once bought altcoins experienced what you describe on yourself. There will always be little greed inside the investor of any X-s.

I would also like to draw attention to the other side of this issue. When an altcoin makes a x0.5 loss (), it's hard to accept your mistakes and sell it at a loss to avoid even bigger losses. As a result of the further fall of altcoin, the losses become -x1.5, -x3 and so on. As a rule, the hope that the price will recover is deceptive and it is best to get rid of the unprofitable asset before it is too late and switch to something else.

When the market is rising usually makes us interested in buying, on the contrary if the market red then many panic and sell even though the loss, this is a panic strategy to buy and sell, and I suggest to do the opposite, that is when buying is at a cheap price that is when the market While red and sells when an increase occurs, of course the profit target depends on what you want, but I think 7% is an easy target to achieve.

Just as the others of selling too early, not selling at ATH and not buying when it's totally low. That's the same mistakes as the others and you'll hear that at most times.

And that's going to come from new investors and as well as old investors that have been there for several years. This mistake for sure will happen again in the next upcoming years.
Not buying when its totally low? How will you know that crypto is totally low already? Even if one is a chart professional there is a chance you could be wrong, the best way to buy crypto is using accumulation skill, don't buy at one, buy at every dip because you won't know which dip will be the last.

Mistakes in the crypto world, of course, we must have felt all for those who have been there for a long time, and I have experienced an error that does make me regret, namely when we have made a profit on the coin that we have invested in but still maintain to get up to 2x from that time but what happens is the opposite all the profits are lost without getting anything, of course this is very painful, then greed is indeed a very detrimental thing.

What have been your biggest blunders so far when it comes to cryptocurrency? We all know that how much volatile the industry is. And the things that made you regret your decision? Can you share your thoughts, guys?
Not buying coins last March-April 2020.

I have some mistakes already in crypto but so far this is my biggest mistake. I don't have cash at that time and as the WHO declared a pandemic, market starts to crash. My mistake is that I didn't have some cash at that time and all of my money are already into crypto. If only I have some cash in hand at that time even only 50$, it would've went up 10x or even higher depending on the price I sold my holdings but unfortunately I did nothing at that time.

Now we have given another opportunity to buy Bitcoins and some altcoins at a lower price. Take the opportunity because this happens only once every few years. If you have some cash on hand, use it to buy crypto as long as it is spare money.

The best way to learn and avoid this mistakes is to read as much information as possible and we need to look at every move with optimistic eyes and remember that we have very little knowledge of what will happen next. There are literally thousands of different coins out there, it's essential to grab the one that suits you best and think long term.

So far the biggest mistake I've made in the cryptocurrency world is that I invested in a mining site and it ended in a scam, and some trades that were too fast to make a profit withdrawal even though I could have made more profit if I didn't sell it too quickly at a cheap price, something happened. in cryptocurrency it must be full of calculations and considerations.

Making mistakes as you mentioned I think almost everyone in this forum must have felt it as well as me personally because basically every human being cannot be separated from the nature of greed, but so far I don't want to make that mistake so when making an investment with some coins if the coin has given me a profit I immediately sell half of it and the rest I hold hoping the price can go higher.

The mistake I've ever experienced and made me lose is

- Greed -
When I first got into crypto trading I started out with greed. i.e. want to make big profits in a short time. and it turns out after i got it. I want more and more. and in the end I ended up losing a lot.
from that experience I began to learn to control my emotions and greed. so I finally got used to the market conditions and could be better at trading. even if you lose sometimes.

You should not let your emotions control you, not in this case especially when it talks about money management. It is somewhat needed for you to become strong in the situation of making decisions and thinking wisely.

In fact, for me, I've tried different things just to earn money, I've tried trading which makes me down for a few days before I move on. Now I'd realized how important to have knowledge before doing things like trading. We should also consider our capabilities on what things we can do, or else we just ended up losing and regrets.

I refused to sell when the price is high is my biggest challenge in cryptocurrency which I have learnt my lesson never to hold my coins when the price is high in the market. Many people were releasing their coins for sale because the price has moved higher but me, I was expecting the price to move higher than it was before I can sell to make a good profit but I ended up in pain and regret because I refused to sell when the price was good but I was waiting for the price to go higher before I can sell. Now that the price of altcoins is preparing to increase higher in the market, I don't think I will Miss this opportunity because am fully ready to sell to make profit the moment the price increase to $20k.

Waiting for it to keep going up is both a mistake, but also not a mistake at the same time. If you are a long-term investor then you shouldn't worry about the crashes. By that logic, Warren Buffet held coca cola, geico, Gillette and so forth stocks for DECADES now, and didn't they drop too? Of course they did, like look at 2008, everything went low but he didn't sold those and still kept on holding it.

We could be like that, if the things that you buy and profit and did not sell so they went down still somehow ends up in the profit long term then you have done something correct. It is the ones that doesn't recover which creates the problems for us.

I have also the same regret. I have known Bitcoin for a long time but I missed the opportunity of buying it when its price was so cheap because of doubt which I really regret until now. I guess we all have the same regret and if only we bought at its low price years ago, we might be millionaires now but I believe in fate and there's a right time for everything.

There is no point in regretting what happened, the main thing now is not to make such a mistake. Otherwise, after a certain time, you will once again regret that you did not buy BTC now, although you already knew that it would be an excellent investment in the future.

It's everyone's fault to make a choice of what they will lose or make a good profit later. but I think more about everyone's patience to wait for what they have been holding. there a test will come to you. I also think about crypto that you can't guarantee the price will grow or fall according to your expectations.

A lot of people made mistakes during that year, whether they decided to invest in the wrong coin as they let hype to get the best of them and not invest everything in bitcoin and then they lost a massive amount of money, or they did not thought too much about the bull market back then and they missed the opportunity to invest in it and obtain huge profits.

But whatever the case you need to learn to let go of the past because that opportunity will never comeback, however new opportunities will in fact present themselves and now we need to be smart enough to be able to take advantage of them before they appear.

Probably people have same experience with me, but in 2017-2018 when I was didn't know anything about Bitcoin and the price crashed on that day was really bothering and burdened me a lot until today, but I don't mind it anymore since I have gotten so far better because of that incident. But still if volatile wasn't a thing in Bitcoin, no one would had ever gotten profit from this thing.

My biggest mistake was in 2022, because I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced it,
even some people here have experienced it, too! namely holding coins since 2021, and thinking 2022 will go to the moon,

There is another side to this case. When you buy an asset and it begins to fall, first you lose 0.5x, then the price falls by a factor of 2, by a factor of 2.5, etc. And the investor sells, fixing losses and supposedly saving at least part of his deposit. But then the project hits rock bottom and starts to grow and you are already out and then FOMO hits you, because you not only made a loss, but also did not get a solid profit, which the project gave, if you had waited a bit. So the approach you describe is not really justified. I've been caught in 2021 a couple of times myself.

What you say is true, because I believe a lot of people are buying coins in 2021 when the price is high, and hope that by 2022 the price of
the coins they buy will rise much higher. The reality is that since entering 2022, the market became bearish and all coins experienced a very
significant decrease. Actually it doesn't matter if in 2021 we buy top coins, even though the price has fallen this year, at least we are still optimistic
that the price will recover again. What is dangerous if we buy shitcoin or new coins in 2021, it is possible that in 2022 we will experience very large
losses and even if we want to sell it is very difficult, because the demand is low. Take our mistakes as valuable lessons and don't repeat them again.

My biggest regret was ignoring ICP in the past. I guess it was a blessing in disguise though because now I can buy it at $5 instead of $500. If I did that I would have been really rekt. I feel sorry for the ICO investors but I'm in it to make money and this is in my buy zone. I also think MATIC is a great buy at these prices.

In a bear market situation like this, it doesn't only happen to you, but almost all investors experience losses in trading during this bear market, even if we choose the top coin even though it still experiences a decline and gets us a loss. To be honest I have a point buy and point sell strategy but it's still in vain during this bear market so I decided to take a break waiting for this to end

Sometime's it's greed, other times you don't hit your price target. Personally, I don't invest in meme coins though, most of them are scams. I prefer to invest in L1 blockchains like HBAR and CNDL. I see projects like meme coins being deployed and traded on these chains, which helps to raise their value. L1 chains increase in value based on the total volume of trades, users, and value of assets on the chain.

without that of course mistakes will continue to occur, but for me that's okay, it's natural,

Quite recently I happened to read an article that modern traders are trying to quickly increase their deposits, but do not think how to save their capital. And it is precisely the high volatility that greatly hinders the preservation of capital. It is very important to be able to save your capital, the ability to save everything that you managed to earn, then in the bear market, you can buy much more coins that will bring even more profit. Do not allow a situation where you hold tokens, they fall in price and then you wait for them to grow back or not.

We've all made blunders that were fatal.  You have to know that this is part of the risk in the crypto industry, be it in trading or investing in ICOs, profit or loss is a common thing especially when there are a lot of junk altcoins.  That's why you also have to know that it's not easy to get a profit, especially if you don't have experience and knowledge

And another mistake on the make if someone has been waiting for this moment and didn't buy anything. This is all about the wait that you're longing for but didn't do anything.
It's time to buy if you want to buy but if you think that there will be a lower price for that crypto you want to purchase, you can wait if you want to but I advise DCA and that will give you a better position instead.

What have been your biggest blunders so far when it comes to cryptocurrency?

Thinking way back when I don't trust stablecoins that much, I was holding a  $140,000 worth of tokens, I am stubborn to not convert them to stablecoin during the start of the bear market.  As a result, I lost 95% of that token value and was forced to sell them at a loss due to some emergencies.  Or I could have sell it for BTC instead of stablecoins.

We all know that how much volatile the industry is. And the things that made you regret your decision? Can you share your thoughts, guys?

Well, I have learned my lesson, though I am a hodler myself, there will be a time that we will be forced to sell our holdings due to urgent needs.  If we are holding other coins other than Bitcoin, we should convert them to stablecoin at the start of the bear market, or at a sign of market decline to preserve the value of our token then just buy back when the market starts its recovery.  Converting it to Bitcoin is also one of the better options.

I think the biggest mistakes of crypto investors are only two, namely selling too fast and holding too long. The mistake that I often experience is buying when the market is rising and selling when the market is red, like what happened a few days ago when the price of ethereum was around $1300 and I sold all the ETH in my wallet, when I bought ETH it was around $1700, although it looks like I'm avoiding a bigger loss than the current price but I think this is a mistake.

Buy crypto
Make your profit
Wait for another crash
Keep repeating it

Not your key not your crypto!
Profit booking is key
You want to hold your crypto 80% down to say you have diamond hands

All we want is to make money and get the profit out of crypto back into fiat

What have been your biggest blunders so far when it comes to cryptocurrency? We all know that how much volatile the industry is. And the things that made you regret your decision? Can you share your thoughts, guys?
When it comes to mistakes, I think it's a lot of things, but I've never regretted them, as it gives me opportunities to reflect and correct them. If I could go back, I wouldn't want to invest much in altcoins but just focus on BTC being the biggest asset in this market that I own, and now I've been doing that for a while and probably won't let the distractions get in the way of the plans I'm building in this market.

My biggest mistake in crypto is to buy ETM token from BitGlobal exchange. Even after buying the $9 ETM token at $1, I had to lose a lot of money. Because it's been 1 year since the price was fixed at $0.018 and I sold all my tokens at $0.018.

One of the trials experienced by the millions of people who invest, I also feel the same about the price which we think will grow even more in the next few years but disappoints everyone.

My biggest mistake is not to learn from the mistakes. Even then, when it comes to advising everyone, this will comes to first. But in game of trading we can't control our emotions and take a trade in hurry and this is the biggest mistake from my side .

Didn't buy ETH when it was at low as $100 back in the 2018 crash. It isn't because I didn't have enough money, I have a couple grands lying but stupid enough to use it in renting Nicehash's hash power to mine some shitcoin. Lesson learned, put your money in top altcoin when the market is in the bear mode, not anything else!

I have made a lot mistake I regretted and I even did one today. This mistake was as a result of inpatients. I invest in a coin 40$ when d coin was at 0.00098$ and have 31k+ of it but when it goes to 0.0019 I didn't sell I was waiting for it to go beyond that until it fell to 0.0004$.
I also invested in ETH when it was 2300$ waiting for it to climb up to 2800$ but trust me I lost till it get to 1200$. All this mistake was due to greed.

I think it is time for those who have said that they've never bought during the dip a few years ago. Now, that time is crucial and the prices of the majority of the cryptos in the market have been dropping. It's now your time and chance to buy it if you want to because you'll never know when the market will recover or if you're about to wait for a lower price then it's going to be your part of monitoring it. But just as saying, those that have made a mistake of not buying when it was low, the market welcomes you.

I had a good portfolio with a big number of cryptocurrencies in the list. Among them few are very good in the market, which in specific are bitcoin, ethereum, dogecoin and BNB. It was during the year 2019, and for unwanted reason I spend everything. Finally when things reached the peak it was like what the hell. Because, if I say the reason on which I spend the money everyone will find it really bad.

I threw away two opportunities in the past that could have made me a millionaire today, I sold too quickly because I had too less experience about crypto in the past, imagine selling some tokens for 1,000$ and the token turn 500,000$ later, in just few months, yes you heard me right, this happened to me twice.
Welcome to the club mate, we all had that. When you have been in crypto as long as I have been, you miss out on being wealthy plenty of times. If you missed it just once, then you would say it wasn't meant to be, but if you miss it a dozen times like me, when you KNEW it would go up and still didn't had the courage, then you would be saying maybe it is about you and not the market.

I knew a ton of coins/tokens that went up, starting from bitcoin all the way to latest ones, and I knew that they were looking good and would make me money and still avoided making investments. So, we all missed out on becoming a millionaire, and probably still going to end up missing out in the future as well.

Actually, there are many mistakes that we have made while knowing the crypto world, and the most regretful thing until now is the result of greed in investing and wanting to get greater results, even though at that time I had indeed obtained profits but in the end all leyap without being able to get anything and currently still traumatized in investing in altcoins that really have no potential.
I speak for a couple of friends who each had $500k in 2017 and 2018, because they invested in other currencies they lost almost everything, each one had about $4k left, the most impressive thing was that I told them, that I had read some books and that according to Wyckoff's theory and seeing everything that the speculators said in the form of advice and seeing the pronounced volume that was shown, I intuited that it was already in the process or stage of Distribution, which is when the whales sell , while that was happening they were buying, and not even BTC but what they were buying was altcoins, this is something that they did not understand only because of stubbornness and thinking that they were right.

My constant and biggest mistake with cryptocurrencies is that I wait too long and don't sell on time. In simple words, I have cryptocurrencies that I did not sell when I had the opportunity, but now they are worth nothing. At the moment, this is my only and biggest mistake with cryptocurrencies. Of course, there are other errors, but they are not significant. There is another point is the difficulty in making decisions, especially now when there is a lot of uncertainty in the market. Probably all this is due to little experience in working with cryptocurrencies and a little greed for getting more profit. In any case, I try to learn from my mistakes, but so far it’s not very successful.

my biggest mistake is not to take profit, I tend to be greedy and then watch my portfolio dissolve.
I lost a lot last 2018 bear and now I just did the same. Money management is really important.

My mistake that I still regret a little bit is following what people say. Yes, I experienced a loss because I did not believe in the analysis that I did myself and I ended up following what other people said. At the same time it turns out that what I doubted earlier turned out to be true (my analysis). From there I started to believe in my own potential.

actually it's okay to follow what other people say but of course we need to consider it first and don't just believe it,
it's not just for you but we all have to learn from that incident and start believing in ourselves

You will also find people who did not sell their rewards, and hold those tokens for huge gains and later all became huge dumps. You got at least some money by selling earlier, all those crypto users didn't get that money at all.

You made a mistake here and those who hold tokens they also made a mistake. So it is natural that everyone has their own mistakes, which causes them to regret it later.

The worst decision when selling an asset at a low price while the asset is still growing right now is BNB when I sell BNB at a very low price and I think the price of BNB will stay at $10 only then so when I buy BNB at a rate of $5 even though I get 100% profit from the purchase but if I was more patient and didn't release it then with a sizeable amount of tokens then I could get the current BNB price.

At least you got a profit and it isn't a mistake.  You do not have enough belief that BNB will increase its price multiple times.  I think there are similar story like that.  And mine is no different either.  But I blame that for losing my job and being in need of immediate funds.  I hold around 94 ETH when it was around $300+ but due to having no job at that time and our house is about to collapse due to termites infestation, I have to sell my holdings just to have funds to rebuild my house.  I wish I have a job at that time so that I can take a loan from any bank and could have saved my ETH that time.

That's a basic mistake that everyone does. Me either, I've done and sold a lot when the prices where too low because I have to and in need of money.
It's been used properly and I guess I just have to make my mind that money was spent in good use and faith so, whenever I reminisce that moment of selling.
I'm thinking that was put into good use and there's no need to regret, that's my way of giving myself a pat on my own back.

It wasn't your fault, Terra was quite promising during those times so we won't think that UST will depegged and crash eventually.  It was the developers' shortcomings that makes UST crash terribly.  Though you could have shorted it when the UST was crashing.

About BTC selling, well if you are in a profit during those times, you shouldn't regret it.  I  buy and sell BTC too bu I never regretted it because it was a profitable trade.

All of us have that mistake what is worst is we don't learn from our mistakes and keep repeating the mistakes again and again.  I often end up bag-holding worthless tokens because I failed to sell them at their peak even though I see it happening.  Like what happened to a shitcoin way back in 2018, I am holding 2k coins of that cryptocurrency and the price goes up to $20 per piece, I think it was greed that I keep myself from selling my coins (hoping for the price to increase further) until it becomes worthless.  I still see myself funny whenever I remember those coins.

Now things have changed completely and those tokens doesn't have value and are delisted from Exchanges. If I've understood about the market earlier I could've made some good fortune out of the bounties.

Since you are just starting and building your experience, it's just reasonable if you have a mindset like that.

Almost all newbies that start trading experience being in a state where obviously, they don't really know what's the best thing to do. Hopefully, while gaining experience, you should be now well aware of what's the best thing to do.

Just move forward after a big mistake.

I haven't been in the market long enough to make any big mistakes, but I try to avoid them. Two mistakes I remember making were liquidating the account of twenty or twenty five dollars through futures trading. Second, when BTC was falling and the support was at $40,000, I bought about $20 worth of marlin pounds, but the good thing is that it was spot trading.

Ignorance will lead to fear, if we do not fully understand bitcoin, do not have enough knowledge to be sure about the future of bitcoin, then when we hold it in our hands, we will have a feeling of fear and uncertainty. In 2018, many investors missed their chance with bitcoin at 3k and after what happened in 2021, people really started to trust bitcoin completely. They begin to understand that bitcoin's drop is part of the market and then bitcoin will bounce back and bounce to hit new ATHs.
They begin to realize that bitcoin falling is part of the market and after every drop bitcoin will bounce back and bounce back to hit a new ATH.

I participated in IDO of an altcoin Metakings, actually listed in Coinmarketcap. The tokens were locked as at the time of IDO and to be unlocked at a specified date. 50% of the tokens were to be unlocked. I actually targeted the date and time for the unlocking of the token. But at the said time, as i engaged Pancakeswap, I realized that the token has seriously dropped in value, and infarct, I was late. My timing was wrong. The unlocking took place just minutes before I commenced mine. Since then, the tokens have dropped drastically more than 100% drop in value.

It's a common mistakes for everyone who experienced the euphoria stage of crypto. It's common for people to aim for more profit by not selling their holdings for an extended period of time. I'm sure that most of us here have experienced it and regretted it. Just take it as a lesson for yourself and know what to do on the next bull run whenever the altcoins you are holding got it's all time high again. I personally recommend on not selling it if you have trust on the altcoins you are holding, I have the mistake before on selling it a very low price with a 80% loss and regretted it because most of the tokens I sold on a loss experienced a new all time high. Evaluate your altcoins if it can survive the harsh bear market. If you have the confidence to hold it, Hold it till the next market cycle arrive.

It was a shitcoin lesson that I will never forget, sell it as soon as it is profitable and not a long term investment with shitcoins.

Don't get greedy.  Sell if you see a clear profit in hand.  Or to have a better organization of your investment, set a selling price and sell them when the market hits your target selling price.  Always be updated and if you see that the price of your holdings will crash and yet you are still in profit, short your trade and if it allows you, buy at the bottom to regain your coins.  That way, you had your coins back and with some profits in hand.

To growth our account balance , take profits was necessary in each trade. Investing in digital currency requires a thorough understanding of the trading market A better understanding of the market gives you more leverage when making an investment You must learn to read price charts in order to discover where you might make investments that have the potential to be profitable. Make the effort to become familiar with price charts so that you can make wise investing decisions.
Investing in cryptocurrencies can be a great way to generate money but you want to be sure that you minimise the risk of making a mistake.

My biggest blunder so far in this industry was during Luna crash. I woke up from a nap after my morning exercise and I decided to check market status just to see the drastic crash of Luna. Unfortunately, without a second thought I used out of my school fees to purchase Luna worth $50. I didn't bother to check again until in the night while I was about to sleep and surprisingly the price crashed more, then I realized I had made a biggest blunder but what happened again seems like I was possessed and lost my conscience because I used additional $100 from the rest of the school fees to purchase more hoping to recover when market shows a little relief. What have been your biggest blunders so far when it comes to cryptocurrency? We all know that how much volatile the industry is. And the things that made you regret your decision? Can you share your thoughts, guys?
Many mistakes are made by people in crypto, especially regarding investment, for example it is not right in choosing coins to invest in, there are even some people who invest not meeting knowledge standards, so coins that have reached ATH or at high prices are not released, until finally the price of the coin fell at a low price, this error was caused by a lack of knowledge
Obviously, mistakes can never be avoided. It is undeniable that mistakes will point us to a relatively correct path. We will accumulate a lot of experience in the lessons, which will become knowledge and make us more secure in investing.

The biggest mistake must be to panic into a cryptocurrency bear market, sell it, and then regret it when its price is high. In fact, bear markets are the best time to hoard cryptocurrencies. At all times, we should stand firm and not be influenced by public opinion.

my biggest mistake, when holding altcoins when it is ATH

Most of us do really share up with the same mistakes which it cant really be avoided sometimes not to think about it and its really a regretful one even though we do our best on accumulating as much as

we could nowadays but it wont really be the same into those days where you could really earn and accumulate easily because its cheap not the same as of today that it would be hard due because its
expensive or not cheap anymore but somewhat its really need for us to move on and continue because its never been too late on achieving that we had missed in the past.
The market do give always that opportunity and thats why we should really be that wise and watchful for those opportunity.

not all traders or investors realize in bear market we still earn money by accumulating potential coins for long term purpose. Alot of use panic when facing bear market, looks like cryptocurrency will die soon when bitcoin price deeply crashing. I am agree we must stand based on our own research, dont tempted by any influencers because most of them only took their own advantages.

I think the biggest mistake in crypto is too greedy, many continue to buy when the price of rising, if he sells it then has received profit, but because he always thinks too optimistic then he continues to buy, and when a dump occurs then he is aware and lost the moment to sell and profit.

I have perhaps the most mundane story...it's simple, I had coins that were worth several tens of thousands of dollars and thanks to my greed...these coins cost 100 times less and I don't see any prerequisites for growth, in general, everything needs to be done on time, but this is not about cryptocurrency, there is no word "on time" here.

everyone will experience mistakes, regrets and so on, but with us experiencing mistakes it will be a science for us in the future, and I have also experienced mistakes of course in terms of crypto. and my mistake was, I didn't have the courage to buy when the crypto price was down, because as a result I didn't have the courage to buy in the end I didn't get a profit from crypto, because if at that time I dared to buy I would definitely get a big profit, because crypto prices soared after all this time. long experienced a bear market.

When in comes to cryptocurrency, trust me, everyone has his/her fair share of regrets.
Personally, one of my greatest mistakes was that a token I got for free, I sold it for 48$ and few weeks later, the token pump so madly that the 48$ was worth about 1700$.

I learnt a very bitter lesson which is: never sell off your position. Always leave something behind, just Incase.

If I had sold half of the token, I wouldn't have missed out too much, but I made a huge mistake selling off.

In my opinion,  no bigger mistake than holding your bags all through a bull circle without taking advantage to the ath to buy back at a much lower price. This has happened to me and I felt really bad not making the right decision at the right time.

Prior to the bull run in 2021, many people were talking about the price of Bitcoin hitting $50k. But I don't believe it. When the bull run was going on, I was afraid to buy it. These two things are delaying me from getting rich.
What I want to say is that, there is no limit to expression in crypto, we must be able to see the opportunity properly. Including current market conditions. Is this the right time to buy? It becomes difficult for us to determine the step, because the chart shows neither up nor down.

They just don't know what to do with them especially at early days when this kind of thing is still uncover without any deep research, unless you do some research at that time then it's pretty normal that you don't put single effort to them, including me too because I had ignored cryptocurrencies in early days as well.

at that moment we were to confidence bitcoin price will directly hit 80K and followed by altcoin price , all position hold and not take profits at all. greedy make us loss our profits and maybe some of this position become negative floating. this is important lesson for us , always take profits to make our balance growth no matter it show slow progress.

Indeed, quite a lot of greedy people don't sell their altcoins when reach ATH prices in 2021. That's because many people think the bulls will continue,
even quite a lot of people are buying altcoins at peak prices. Therefore, when entering the bear market in 2022, crypto prices fell quite drastically,
very much even altcoins fell by 80%. That's because in 2022 many people panic and sell their altcoins at low prices, they feel frustrated and feel
the market will not recover again.

Though such thinking is wrong, if we study with what happened in 2018, where the bear market was quite severe at that time. Whereas for people
who can be patient and still believe in the future of crypto, finally in 2021 they can enjoy profits. So don't repeat the same mistakes, I think we all
have made big mistakes in the crypto world, but don't do it again. Never give up if you make a mistake, get back up right away and fix your mistake.
Therefore if you fail to sell the altcoins you have in 2021, you don't need to be frustrated, all you need to do is just keep holding the altcoins you have
until the bull market comes again, and have to believe that the market will recover again.

Set out profit taking price level or making out some goals so that you would really be able to sell on the right time or whenever the market do make out a bullish momentum or situation.
Unless if you do hold for long term then you wont really be bothering yourself with these things but if you are that someone who does prefer on seeing profits on short term
then you should really be doing these things and it wont really be that simple as it looks as you would really be needing to deal with moving price or simply with volatility.
Mistakes are common but once we do able to gain experience then you would really be that aware on next time when you do encounter things.

Mistakes are part of the most rewarding experience. Both in mistakes in making decisions when trading or investing in new projects.
Trading indeed often makes us lose when we take the wrong action to buy or sell. But it really depends on our personality. But investing in new projects is what makes us frustrated, because so many projects fail to launch. In this case, choosing a new project that has future potential is the most important thing.

Investors often don't take profits. Sometimes we get so excited about our investments growth that we don't take gains price drops. Some days your portfolio is up and other days it's down taking earnings either way is fine removing your initial investment is a profit taking approach If you've achieved your financial target you may decide to withdraw more than the initial investment. If you're investing in crypto to buy a house or pay off debt you may want to sell when the price exceeds your target the market doesn't go up forever so selling is the only way to make money.

I also support your point, there are such moments. of course, it is easy to judge after some time and already knowing how it ended. but if you look at the time, it was the right investment, the only mistake is that I did not make a fixation of funds, of course, out of greed and belief in value.

I'm positive about cryptocurrency, and I have regrets of missing chances that could've given me the true freedom of money. The mistakes I did without studying the market have made me hold the cryptocurrencies without understanding the market. During the previous bull run of 2017-18 I missed to sell few tokens that are valued good. Later those tokens got delisted and few I sold for less than $50. Once the value of the holdings were above $10k.

I don't know why most believing with my altcoin assets keep holding although have chance to sell on higher price. But bad moment coming with my altcoin assets holding indicate as scam project and delisted on exchange market. Until right now keep hold this altcoin assets without any values yet right now, better never make mistake the same like I did at the past and if you chance for selling altcoin asset on higher price never holding it, as soon possible sell your coin if still listed on exchange market.

My biggest mistake I think is how I can't control my emotion when trading. I'm not a daily trader. I frequently hold my assets for too long with the hope that dev will do their job and bring people to ATH, however, the fact is not always the same with hope. When I see a price surge down, I sell it because I feel angry and I feel that every time I sell it, minutes later the price then goes up and I am confused about whether should I re-buy or not leads to losses. My mind then engraved that I'm not good at trading and I will always be the victim first so the price could up.

What is clear is that it all comes back to each person's decision

Why create additional risks for yourself by buying altcoins with which anything can happen, from a scam to a delisting? I understand the desire to make a quick profit, but it can also be a way to lose your money faster. I risked and lost too much to repeat the same mistakes again. Buy bitcoin while it is in a drawdown, when it starts to rise, its price will no longer be as low as it is now.

If you already knew bitcoin on 2009 then you really missed too much. How much more for us that has got in probably can be said late already before the great bull runs.
2016 and 2018 were the years that I've seen Ethereum priced in really low and that's why those that were also on those years would think that it's likely to happen in some other projects that are still considered low in price as of the moment.

It seems that you are not the only one who regrets not buying Bitcoin and Ethereum in the first place when they were so cheap. But indeed
who would have thought Bitcoin and Ethereum could be as big as they are now, rather than living in regret. We better learn from our mistakes,
which is because we already know that Bitcoin and Ethereum have a bright future. So we shouldn't waste the opportunity to collect as much Bitcoin
and Ethereum as possible right now. Indeed, if we compare the current Bitcoin and Ethereum prices compared to 2018, Bitcoin and Ethereum prices
are now very expensive. But we have to remember in the future the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum will be much more expensive than the current price.
So buying Bitcoin and Ethereum at current prices will allow us to generate huge profits in the future.

the biggest mistakes made by me in the world of crypto? not having bought bitcoin in 2009 and etherium in 2018 at very low prices compared to the current ones

So buying Bitcoin and Ethereum at current prices will allow us to generate huge profits in the future.

people will feel sorry if they find out later, and that's not a mistake. because no one really knows what will happen in the future, not even everyone knows it. who would have thought the bitcoin and ethereum project would go this far, of course we can't blame time. After all, if we invest now, maybe in the future we will be able to assume that the current price is very cheap, but is there no worry to buy, just like in the past :)

I had negative thoughts about Defi's. Borrowing is still no different from leveraged trading, but if we ever succeed in converting our real-life assets into collateral on the blockchain, borrowing could take on a whole new dimension. We must not miss the world of tomorrow from today. As we realize our mistakes, we gain new perspectives. The important thing is to learn from our mistakes and not repeat them.

My biggest mistake in the past when I was new to crypto was that I couldn't control my greed. So in the beginning at that time I got a big advantage . but because of me my mistake at that time to take more profit by putting all my money in one basket (all in). and not long ago it turned out that the project I was in to invest in turned out to be a scam project. and the token price goes rugpull, liquidity is taken away by the dev.

so my first mistake was
- too greedy
- put money in one basket (all in)
- hasty in making decisions
- enter into a new project without analyzing the fundamentals and utility and use case of the project.
- too speculative.
- unable to maintain emotional or psychological control.
- do not understand market analysis, fundamental analysis, and other basic analysis that must be mastered by beginners before entering the crypto world.

that's my mistake in the past. and I have learned from my mistakes. so at this time I rarely experience losses. because it is better for us to linger to analyze than to enter without analysis. Careful preparation is needed in all things. to avoid and minimize the risks to be taken. and maintaining psychological health and psychological management in trading in crypto is very, very necessary.

Like many of us. Not taking profits when it's on it's peak and keep holding it until the value goes down. I've been on the same thing over and over again from the past bull runs and I learned my lesson pretty hard but still do the same last bull run. This is the biggest mistake that I make every time, I did all the lessons I've been through in crypto market but I don't know why I can't dodge this mistake. For the next bull market, I'll make sure to set up take profit positions on my coins. I guess I'm too overconfident with myself and too trustful with the market.

Should I blame myself or am I unlucky? I received 44 NVRK tokens in a bounty campaign; at the time, the price was 0.5 per token; it was on the Etherium blockchain, so transaction fees were very high; I now kept the coin u until one day I woke up to check my wallet and found out the coin was worth $113; I was very happy and then loomed for gass fee to swap immediately; but after two days, I check the coin and see it is worth $230. I could have waited a little longer, but I was oblivious and swapped it. That has been my worst experience thus far.

a lot of people regret their decisions on buying or selling transactions. maybe there are some who buy altcoins too late so that in some time the price of altcoins goes up high. and vice versa, people sell altcoins too late so their assets are getting lower and lower. but for me the worst decision is when I ignore a good project offered by my friend and finally I choose a bad project because I see it from the trending side. so I suffered a high loss .. and this will be an important lesson for me in the future.

My own biggest mistake was I sold all my bitcoin before the ATH of 2017 it was indeed a big disappoinment to me, I sold my bitcoin cheaply when I suppose to be hodling it thinking the price will dump after reading all sort of news of clambdown of exchanges by the Chinese government then and the Chinese were one of the highest hodlers of bitcoin all those negative news culminated to my selling of all my bitcoin in the pre 2017 era almost all the major cryptocurrencies were very cheap ETH, BNB e.t.c, well it's a sad experience I have to move on afterall it is irreversible and learnt my lesson to always hodl my irrespective of negative news relating to bitcoin.
You sold all? That's really a disappointing moment because we don't know that by 2017, the price of bitcoin will soar a lot and it wasn't expected.
Those were also the time that came next that ETH and BNB were totally cheap but I didn't bought them, too many missed opportunities but still holding btc somehow, no matter what the market situation is. I'll keep holding it and will wait until the right time to sell and there won't be any regret that I'll think that I may have in the future.

There were many different mistakes. This is cryptocurrency and investment. It happens here. Another thing is if it happens all the time. Then yes, these are no longer mistakes, but a conscious choice and in investments it means you have nothing to do. I think my main mistake was that when I first learned about cryptocurrencies, I did not attach much importance and passed by. Only later did I realize that I was wrong.

Panic selling is bad decision taking by all cryptocurrency investor exactly as new and have less experience with cryptocurrency investing, I will the same position with you trough last several years before ever sold bitcoin under $10,000 and few months later bitcoin price pump drastically. Many time bad news coming from China make bitcoin price drop drastically when announcing first time, I know when China banned bitcoin and all ICO project make the end era of ICO time, but right now I know and have many experience how to faced with bad news about bitcoin. Need move on to next time for learn from our mistake made in the past, I think most important at the future never panic what ever bad news and make bitcoin price drop.

I myself sold my bitcoin loss in 2018 when after days bitcoin increased almost $20k and bitcoin dropped continuously. I wasn't savvy enough to realize it was just a normal bitcoin drop in its development. I was scared when I saw a non-stop bear market, I panicked and sold everything in the market afterwards.

Most of us have our own lessons after a bear market. After experiencing the bitcoin crash and bitcoin rally in 2020, nothing can shake my faith in bitcoin now. To me, the current bear market is not as bad as people think.

We are only here to invest, buy low sell high. so the common mistake people make is definitely buying at a low price but usually selling at a not-so-high price, and then that coin goes up, and we regret it again. I think everyone has experienced this feeling. The market is unpredictable so that's not surprising, and I believe those mistakes will be repeated in the future.
Yes it's true I also felt regret as you mentioned where at that time I bought 2 ETH when the price was still cheap and planned to hold it for the long term but a few months after buying suddenly the price of the coin increased and my portfolio increased by about 20x because I was so eager I finally decided to immediately release everything, but it was a pity after I sold it but the price of the coin went up again higher.

A common regret always happening in the investors mind after investing in cryptocurrency particularly when he sells an asset, the price of that asset increases several times. Again, when he buys, the price starts to drop. However, I have a history of making the biggest mistakes of my life. I held on one of my assets after a 100x increase and decided to hold it for life but my big mistake was that coin was a sit coin.

*keep low cap coins and tokens as a large portion of the portfolio

IMHO, these two factors are usually what I can see from the others. They're heavily influenced by those popular people in the crypto scene and they're trusting them even more.
Also, the popularity of meme coins has got a lot of many to be attached because they thought that it's the best and easiest way to win this market and become rich from it.
That's all because of lack of knowledge and understanding in the market for which they think that this market is just a way to make bucks too easy.

One of the biggest mistakes in crypto is buying top gainers. Often people buy top gainers which is a huge mistake. If the price falls after entering such a crypto, then it may take a long time to go back there.Whenever a coin is listed on an exchange, many people try to buy it, thinking that it will increase by 200% or 500% immediately after it is listed.  And then get stuck forever. The third mistake is the biggest mistake that 98% of people make. It is to take the opinion of others as your own.Do your own study that the one you are buying is not at a high price. The person telling you can make a mistake.

Everyone has their own regrets of not selling when its high and not holding when its still low and vice versa. These are examples of the mistakes we usually did in the past but its not like we can always get the actual or perfect timing to sell or hold isnt it? Sometimes a good pump arrived on the least we expect it.

Yes, that's true and I've also experienced situations like that before, but with experiences like that I made a valuable lesson, so that in the future I will be better, and be careful. but in the world of trading, of course, it is not strange that almost all of them have experienced failure in trading.

Because if I haven't made the mistake by then, I could've been leading my life without much of financial pressure. Hope once again we'll get such an opportunity. With cryptocurrency opportunity missed is missed forever, when it is made over specific altcoins.

I regret selling Doge in the middle of 2020 after the Bitcoin Halving, even though at the end of the year the price went up. then some other coins like MVL, DIA and Ferrum, all increased by more than 10x, from the situation I was in, patience is the key to investing, don't panic and keep trading according to technical analysis or do long term Holding and sell it when the market really bullish

Also, I could remember myself selling my 8000 DOGE for 32$ briefly before Elon's influential tweet that made the same units once owned went up high to over 4k dollars. Had I known I would have kept my DOGE safe for a little more time.

actually it's not a loss when we buy ethereum at a price of $ 200 and sell it at a price of $ 3000 it's already a big profit even though in the coming year it will cost more than $ 3000.
so actually we are just not right to sell the coins we hold and make us regret it.
and from now on i always buy some top coins and i collect them i will not sell before the price reaches what i have targeted, even though i have to wait 10 years i will still hold it for a satisfactory profit.

like in 2014 i bought some BTC and in 2015 i also bought some ETH and in 2017 i thought the price had reached ATH i sold everything.
but apparently i was wrong in last year the price of bitcoin and ethereum reached the highest price point in history and last year also i did not buy some coins to hold. so i missed to celebrate the highest price in history
I have several bigger mistake in cryptocurrency and looks can't forget because all my mistake could make me become richest person right now, ever I hold 1 bitcoin and have about 30 eth around last three  years ago. I have strong hand by holding Ethereum still lower price under $200 until several years later, but when Ethereum reach higher price above $500 I sell all but few months later Ethereum make new all time high price above $3,000. Another bigger mistake by early cut loss when investing with Doge coin, I bought under $0,1 but after price keep dropping I loss almost 30% for cut loss before new all time high made by Doge coin after promoting and tweet by Elon Musk.
but from all the big mistakes in crypto in the past we can learn and understand that when investing long term in some of the top coins like bitcoin and ethereum should be more patient and more careful before selling them before we regret later on.
actually it's not a loss when we buy ethereum at a price of $ 200 and sell it at a price of $ 3000 it's already a big profit even though in the coming year it will cost more than $ 3000.
so actually we are just not right to sell the coins we hold and make us regret it.
and from now on i always buy some top coins and i collect them i will not sell before the price reaches what i have targeted, even though i have to wait 10 years i will still hold it for a satisfactory profit.
If you can hold on prominent coins for ten years then you will undoubtedly to gain large amounts. I think if someone buys the right coins and goes beyond 3 years from now he will surely understand the true fun of holding. From my point of view traders who are more or less invested in crypto have uttered the word "mistake". But the point is that it is profitable to learn from that mistake and use it later.

When I see the development of cryptocurrencies right now, of course I regret a lot, if I can hold until now at least 50% then I can retire from my job and may have more than $ 1 million, many assets are currently skyrocketing like ETH, BNB, Doge, Waves and so on.
let that mistake be a lesson, because if you continue to be sad and feel regret, of course it will make your trading disturbed,
because trading and investing requires a healthy soul, without that we will feel regret, don't give up, forget the mistake and look at it future

after 3 months later the price increased crazier, it increased to 13x from the moment i sold it.

I don't regret investing on CAKE but i regret that i put them in locked staking pool 2/3 weeks before market crash. so i was unable to sell at the right time. Now all my assets are reduced by half. It hurt's when i see the price. but i know everything will be back on green again. So it's still locked and i'm still earning. But i think buying before market crash was my biggest mistake in crypto.

One of my biggest mistake was one time I got an airdrop and was hesitant to sell when it when it was selling high, only a day later and it fell rock bottom, I had to sell it so low regretfully.

When it comes to cryptocurrency, my largest and most often mistake is to wait too long before selling. Simply, my cryptocurrency holdings are worthless now because I neglected to sell them when I had the chance. This is currently my lone and largest mistake with bitcoins. There are more faults of course, but they are not important. I attempt to learn from my mistakes in any event, but so far I haven't had much luck.

Things like that happen to a lot of people and it's better if we can learn from those mistakes,
dissolve in regret will not produce anything and will only be a waste of time,
sometimes it's hard to forget mistakes like that and it becomes a challenge

What have been your biggest blunders so far when it comes to cryptocurrency? We all know that how much volatile the industry is. And the things that made you regret your decision? Can you share your thoughts, guys?

My Biggest mistake in cryptocurrency, when i was in high school a friend told me about cryptocurrency investment (Bitcoin was $3900), I did not put to action, because he is the only one in my local area that i know, and i thought cryptocurrency was a Ponzi scheme to refer a friends before you can earn that was feedback i get from other of my friends that was not educated in cryptocurrency analyzing, which was ignorance of the highest order to me, not to go online and make research about cryptocurrency function and how it works. Nevertheless first bull run and second bull run of bitcoin has come to passed, after my research about bitcoin price. Now is my morning to joined the club, by investing or Buying small fraction of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and polygon Matic as a gradual process.

In terms of cryptocurrencies, my biggest error is holding onto my assets despite having made a healthy profit. I have worked on a variety of initiatives and purchased and invested in a large number of coins from which I have previously made a sizable profit but have not yet sold. The market is currently dumping a lot. All the coins I currently own have caused me to lose a lot of money. That is why I claim that not selling anything on the rise of cryptocurrencies was my biggest error.

Unfortunately for you, you weren't able to take profits before the bear market hit. That's a lesson for you, always have a plan in investing and don't be too greedy, profit taking is never wrong. I think a lot of people just like you, people didn't sell their coin when it was profitable because everyone was expecting it for a higher price to sell, but then they couldn't sell anymore and became become a reluctant holder.

My biggest mistake was that I never invested in dogecoin before and became fomo at the time of the rise and after that I made a lot of mistakes. It was actually a big mistake for me to invest in new projects, if we compare both, I think they can compete. These were the biggest mistakes I made that I still care about, and I had a lot of little mistakes. It's really hard not to make mistakes in such a volatile market.

An investor can measure his greed only when the market turns from bullish to bearish. Many investors hold their assets year after year for extra gains but in return there are no gains without losses. That was the biggest mistake in crypto by those who held on to their assets despite the gains in the bull market.

as long as we want to learn from the mistakes that have happened it will bring us to profits and as long as we invest choosing the right coin.
if we choose the right coin we hold up to 10 years will get a big profit.
like investing in bitcoin and ethereum when every few years 4-5 years always have a fantastic price that can make us go party together.
and the point is to invest in the right coins that already have a good track record from the previous year

Sometimes we don't know whether the coins we hold will continue to rise or sink, most of what I do is sell immediately when the profit is more than 20% or if the long term profit is 50%, there is always worry, especially the case of LUNA sinking.
If you want to be a good trader you must be committed in some aspects among them one is selling your assets at a certain level. We often deviate from this track. Sometimes even if the profit is more than 50%, we wait for more profit without selling it. In return we fail to profit. Although many people consider it simple mistakes but it is definitely the biggest mistake trading business.

Biggest mistake in crypto is, i trust crypto blindly and i invested my whole money in crypto and i didn’t sold my altcoins during preliminary bear market of 2017. I awaited to recovery and As a result it destroyed me badly. So it is necessary to understand when and what decision should taken regarding crypto behaviour as well as it always need to have some backup fund so that it can be use durning bear market

It's hard to remember how many times in the past I've made this mistake, and each time it was a lost profit. Now I try to take profits from every trade, sometimes I do it too early, but I do not miss the opportunity. When it comes to altcoins, then it almost always short term trades with stops and that's why it works for me. If we are talking about bitcoin, then I buy it for the long term and do not worry about short-term movements.

The trading crypto market is always in tension and money comes quickly, but also can disappear quickly, if you are not careful. The most important thing is to be disciplined and not to blindly trust the situation. The mistake most people make when first starting out is letting their greed get the best of them, and thinking they are always right. This especially holds true in a bear market as coins continue to go down, and everyone is trying to get out of the market. The most important thing is not to panic when the crypto markets go down and not to become greedy when the market goes up—and finally, always stay disciplined and do not let your emotions get the better of you.

But we must also be aware that mistakes are also part of the process.
it all depends on us and learning from mistakes is important so as not to repeat the same mistakes in the future,
Bitcoin for long term investment is very suitable and it is profitable

To me the biggest mistake one can make is investing in a project without proper analysis.

So investors, most especially newbie who are looking for project to invest tend to make this kind of mistakes, they just look at what social media is saying about such project and then invest in it without even conducting their own personal research.

People who are new to cryptomarkets can't handle emotions most of the time. If the market is up then they are more bearish and when the market starts to come down then they start holding panicky. But what should be done is to sell your asset when the market is going up and sell it only when it starts going down. If it is different, you will be exposed to loss.

I've always struggled to survive in a bear market. This is my second time at the bear market. I think it's quite unfair with these two seasons, the bear market lasts more than two years while the bull market lasts less than a year which makes this really not a main source of income. The regret is that I don't want to continue to make crypto my main source of income.
There's nothing unfair that I can see, if it's your second bear market. Then I think that you're at advantage right now because you know the drill and you know what exactly is happening. But it's true that whenever we're on this season, it's exhausting and also destroying too many hopes from the past bull run, this makes everyone think that it's going to be the end of the market especially the first timers. But if you've seen it before, you know what's next to come and we're going to be in the cycle soon and bull run is imminent so, prepare for it and don't make yourself uncomfortable from it.

Most mistakes in cryptocurrencies that I often experience are impatient to wait, when I think that the price will rise but it turns out the price of drops then I can't wait so it immediately sells, I think this technique is not in accordance with the coins that have a large marketcap because it will usually recover again.
