Title: That's why I really like bitcoin :)
Post by: Silent Sam on September 03, 2022, 07:19:28 AM
You don’t have to physically carry it around. You can gutter the paper or plastic and free up your precious fund space.

Bitcoin is like a bank that’s in no way closed, this currency is moving and available 24/7. Further people and places are starting to accept it, from coffee shops to real estate possessors, this is a currency gaining traction and seems to be gaining worldwide acceptance.

The Bitcoin community has quality memes and GIF games. Bitcoin was created by software people who wanted to hack the financial world and produce a better system after the request collapse in 2008.

It’s decentralized, no need for any 3rd party to babysit your sale and take a piece of it. In developing nations, this technology is enabling more practical operations that will enable translucency and combat corruption in governments.

Don't forget to continue liking bitcoin when things that make you feel that bitcoin doesnt like you occur - the price plunge, regular hacking activities, exchanges going bankrupt, people claiming to be Satoshi etc. They are many bad features linked to bitcoin but, its not meant to stop anybody from continues usage of bitcoin, I'll urge you to keep up with the things that make you happy about bitcoin despite the numerous negative news appearing on news platforms just to detriment the good aspect of  bitcoin. As for me I like bitcoin because they is no third party that is in control of daily transactions.

These features are really great and not only but also many of us like Bitcoins due to this.
Moreover these are also the main reasons for which many are moving from forex and gold to cryptos.
At last the decentralised nature of Bitcoins have also attracted many investors to invest in Bitcoins. Due to this decentralised nature, no government is able to impose tax on Bitcoins and to be honest people really loving it when they are not forced to pay additional money.

Bitcoin is like a bank that’s in no way closed

bitcoin has no any qualifications to be compared with banks by any means, banks has closing hours, off days, weekends, holidays, ownerships, central authorities, paper notes, and can fold up in bankruptcy and the likes.

this currency is moving and available 24/7

this is applicable to bitcoin, fiat cannot give you this guarantee, the time you may need your fund most may be when restriction may be lay on it and renders it inaccessible.

Bitcoin was created by software people

No, bitcoin was created by a pseudoanonymous person or group of persons believed to be called Satoshi Nakamoto

people who wanted to hack the financial world and produce a better system after the request collapse in 2008.

alot of people have made attempts in creating alternative digital currency before Satoshi but i dont think their aim was to hack the financial system of centralized banks and government.

Everything has its good and bad sides. If we look at the good side of Bitcoin, there are many things that can be done and currently, some people are controlling the entire market. Whenever the market is out of their hands, everything will be better and the price of Bitcoin will increase. Also, its usage will increase you will see currently many online shops and offline usage of Bitcoin is increasing on the other hand if you look at banks there are also many frauds it is actually an open secret.

Are you honestly sure that people are accepting bitcoin in coffee shops as you presented? I am not sure you are correct about this. The buyer might not agree to bear the transaction fee and likewise the seller. Since coffee price is not expensive, people resort to using Lightning network for such payment. The last time I checked LN network rate of adoption, it is not progressing that very fast.

Bitcoin was created by software people who wanted to hack the financial world and produce a better system after the request collapse in 2008.

How did you come about the above information? Was Satoshi the head of the group that wanted to hack the financial world or is Satoshi the name of the group?

You can say that the 2008 financial collapse necessitated the creation of bitcoin by Satoshi and not otherwise.  Bitcoin was created by Satoshi not group of hackers or software people.

(....)
Exactly! This is one of the many tests for people who really acknowledge or are really into Bitcoin or really know how Bitcoin works.
Because there are a lot of people that only got into Bitcoin just for the money or investment and when the price of Bitcoin is suffering or due to high volatility, then intended to ignore Bitcoin too, and some of them don't really know how Bitcoin works.

Bitcoin has provided a better alternative to a bank, that is to say, Bitcoin allows us to do what the bank does not let us do, e.g with Bitcoin one can send money anytime and anywhere without having to visit any physical office or having to sign any paper. Bitcoin also gives us privacy and anonymity.
The Bitcoin community has quality memes and GIF games. Bitcoin was created by software people who wanted to hack the financial world and produce a better system after the request collapse in 2008.
You seem to have a misconception with the above-quoted paragraph of your text, as what you pointed out as a feature of Bitcoin seems to be contradictory to the true nature of Bitcoin both in theory and practical. Bitcoin doesn't want to hack the global financial system rather Bitcoin only provides a better alternative to the traditional financial system.

I'm glad you like it :)

For me there's really a lot of things in bitcoin that I like. I liked the "banking the unbanked" and "be your own bank" slogans. Nowadays seeing how countries fight cash by limiting cash payments I see that we need bitcoin more than ever. I hope more people will say they like it in near future.

Good thing you have found your peculiar reason, we all have our reasons why we like bitcoin, but the final matter is that we like bitcoin and should all make a conscious effort to hodl as long as possible, and help others find their own reasons to like bitcoin. Certainly if you have a conversation with someone offline and share your reason why you have come to like bitcoin, they may begin to consider bitcoins knowing that your points are valid. I encourage you to do so also, just as you have shared with us.

It got developed to overcome the flaws with the traditional system. We can experience the difference of using bitcoin and the traditional currency. Whenever something new gets innovated people always make use of it in all possible ways. As a result the pseudo-anonymous feature of bitcoin helped more illegal transactions to be made easier. For this reason it got stamped as the currency developed for the illegal needs. So, it have crossed several good, bad and now it has gained importance as payment asset and investment. Different people like it for different needs and my choice of it is the multiple usage.

the aim of the decentralized coin is being attacked by the whales and exchanges through the terrible price manipulation and extent of dip. Although we think the coins cant control the volatility, the adoption may struggle with the volatility. New institutions cant cope with the loss from the volatility as seen the last 2 years and that may affect the increased adoption. We cant continue to see 80% bear market dip

The bank is centralized and Bitcoin is not. The bank is only open during working time (except for some of its features that can be accessed 24/7, but not all aspects can.), and Bitcoin can be accessed 24/7. The bank needs more regulation and Bitcoin is not.

If you mean to compare it to fiat, this is actually quite the same as the currency. But sometimes, we cannot utilize Bitcoin as a currency in several countries because the matter is that not all countries legalize Bitcoin as a currency.
But, BItcoin has more than banks can do, Bitcoin is not only a currency but also an asset for high worth investment.

Bitcoin is an amazing creation. Most of all, I was developed out of selflessness in a bid to help the people. It's key focused is relied in help. To give power back to the people by creating an escape from centralization and in turn, one Co fully be incgarge of one's affairs, decides on how much one wishes to declare and you can carry a whole lot about without much fear of theft. Not to mention, you get to transfer values across the ends of the world in minutes and you don't need a third party to do it. That's to mention just a few and it's why bitcoin is just something we really need in our world today.

It’s decentralized, no need for any 3rd party to babysit your sale and take a piece of it. In developing nations, this technology is enabling more practical operations that will enable translucency and combat corruption in governments.

But not all developing countries are into bitcoin though, some of them are planning to have their own CBCD. What's practical is that there are countries who allow their citizens to play around it, have some in their wallet, nevertheless it is heavily regulated.

Also having bitcoin it gives us financial freedom, specially if you have invested early and then have been in a bull run for sure there are a lot of us who like bitcoin that way.

Many are not like you.

They will only like bitcoin when it's favoring their portfolios and the price is high. But when the bear market comes and it's not looking good to see what they've got, they're starting to dislike it.

This isn't for those who are long in bitcoin because through thick and thin, it's proven that they or we like bitcoin no matter what it's status as of the moment.

The Bitcoin community has quality memes and GIF games.
If you're for the memes, there are also non-coiners that do make those.  ;D

They make fun of us but when the market is bullish, they're off and set to wait it finish.

But I'd like to say, be your own bank through Bitcoin.  You've got full control over your asset and you do transactions anytime you want.
It might be that's what OP meant for.  It can also express financial freedom as what's posted above.

I like people who've admired Bitcoin.
Yeah, it's an amazing creation that until now people adopted on it, we must say thank you to the creator (Satoshi Nakamoto) who has an unknown name.  Bitcoin considering is a part of technology innovation that we encounter now.

You don’t have to physically carry it around. You can gutter the paper or plastic and free up your precious fund space.

Yes, this is one advantage of it, you can just save your previous bitcoin in lets say a hardware wallet.

Bitcoin is like a bank that’s in no way closed, this currency is moving and available 24/7. Further people and places are starting to accept it, from coffee shops to real estate possessors, this is a currency gaining traction and seems to be gaining worldwide acceptance.

Maybe what you meant is the (BYOB), Be your own bank. so you have access to it all the way, as long as you have the private key. Acceptance percentage though is not that high, not all coffee shops and real states are accepting it but we will go there.

The Bitcoin community has quality memes and GIF games. Bitcoin was created by software people who wanted to hack the financial world and produce a better system after the request collapse in 2008.

It's primary design was to be a peer to peer electronic system, an alternative to the current financial and traditional market.

It’s decentralized, no need for any 3rd party to babysit your sale and take a piece of it. In developing nations, this technology is enabling more practical operations that will enable translucency and combat corruption in governments.

Bitcoin is not a magic bean that will solve every human problem. So I don't think it will be a solution to corruption in government.

Physical space for holding money is not precious, it's absolutely not a problem, unless you're a Walter White.

Bitcoin is like a bank that’s in no way closed, this currency is moving and available 24/7. Further people and places are starting to accept it, from coffee shops to real estate possessors, this is a currency gaining traction and seems to be gaining worldwide acceptance.

And online banks are available 24/7 too. Or PayPal. ATMs too.

The Bitcoin community has quality memes and GIF games. Bitcoin was created by software people who wanted to hack the financial world and produce a better system after the request collapse in 2008.

"Memes and GIF games (idk what's a GIF game" are not a good argument for finance. Actually makes it sound like a scam. And just because people have an intention of making a better financial system doesn't mean that it is already better.

It’s decentralized, no need for any 3rd party to babysit your sale and take a piece of it. In developing nations, this technology is enabling more practical operations that will enable translucency and combat corruption in governments.

Bitcoin network doesn't have intermediaries, but its ecosystem does. So if you're using centralized exchanges or a merchant is using a payment processor that convetrs BTC to fiat, there will still be fees.

And as for fighting government corruption, it's still just a theory. There's no succesful cases in the world where a government adopted Bitcoin and it helped solve corruption.

Well, there are many reasons why I like Bitcoin, some of which are below
It made possible to send  and get money anywhere at anytime. When you have capital in the form of Bitcoin, your capital is under your complete control. When you have Bitcoin you don't have to worry if there is a bank holiday or any other problem you are completely free.In case of Bitcoin you can make as many transactions as you want and this method is also secure. The biggest advantage of Bitcoin is that no one can steal your capital.Your identity remains confidential during money transactions.

Bitcoin is very simple because bitcoin is an asset that is built with a technological system so it is very possible for us to take it anywhere and access it whenever we want and with bitcoin we also don't need to be afraid if one day there is a confiscation of assets because they can't easily take our bitcoin without know the key phrases in advance to access our wallets, unlike real estate assets where when war broke out like in Ukraine now then of course their Russian army can snatch land from our owners easily and then they turn it into Russian state property.

Due to this decentralised nature, no government is able to impose tax on Bitcoins and to be honest people really loving it when they are not forced to pay additional money.
And that's the exact reason why most countries are banning Bitcoin because they are afraid of losing the frequent tax money they usually gets from firms and bank charges for saving money in banks since Bitcoin offers a decentralized nature whereby we have the total control of our funds, and what most journalist does now is spread fake news about Bitcoin just to scare away in countries where Bitcoin fully legalized

A very enthusiastic post. OP, have you personally benefited much from owning Bitcoin? Are you rich? Do you like to pay with bitcoin in cafés, shop online, or on the Internet, or do you just hope that you can do it one day? Everything I do with bitcoin now, I just wait, hold, and wait. I won't waste it on coffee or anything like that. This is the moment of hibernation, which may one day bring me profit. But again, it all depends on the amount we hold.
It is great to attract people to join Bitcoin; all its qualities are very practical and useful, but today, when I look at the people around me who diligently save on everything, I am shy to encourage them to invest in bitcoin.
Maybe later.

Though Bitcoin for me is best when you buy and hodl as an investment but here i can actually use it to buy things online unfortunately I have nothing but wallet only since I had nothing to invest as I am in the process of recovering from the super typhoon.

In addition to that, the reason why I personally like Bitcoin is because of its
No censorship- all transactions are operated through p2p protocol without any third parties.
Scarce - the limited total supply
Transaction fee - the fee required to make the border-to-border payments using BTC is cheap than fiat/gold
Bitcoin is antifragility to attacks.

Don't forget to continue liking bitcoin when things that make you feel that bitcoin doesnt like you occur - the price plunge, regular hacking activities, exchanges going bankrupt, people claiming to be Satoshi etc.
This is very important because I have seen people giving up easily when things have gone sour in the crypto market through the normal occasion that will always happen in the crypto market.

Arguably, the most positive thing when people talk about bitcoin is that bitcoin has dramatically improved their financial situation. I am a part of that myself, bitcoin has given me a lot of things that I thought I would never get if I continued with my day job. It doesn't stop there, bitcoin helps me realize the banks control my money, I work hard to make money and they are the holders of my money, it's not fair. Since having bitcoin, I have always confidently stored my assets without having to worry about my money being robbed whenever.

Is good to be happy with country's adoption but expected to see regulations as time passes by the government. Some of these regulations come to protect the citizen and some to levy holders, control the size of the portfolio, and monitor conversion to fiat. It is not likely to replace the country's currency as long as they dont control it. The only option is for the government to introduce their stable coin

I have heard many people saying that bitcoin changed their lives, i wonder if this is because of their holding as the price of bitcoin always increases from 2012 onwards or if they are doing trading bitcoin and crypto.
Doing job / Work for bitcoin has more to do with your skills as bitcoin is just a mode of receiving payment for the work you do.

I feel the same way behind the reason why I love bitcoin. and also because I have full control over the assets I keep. and I don't have to bother going to the bank to save. After I got to know bitcoin I became less likely to go to the bank. even when my distant relative in need of money then I do not need to use the services of a bank anymore. because the cost of transferring money across countries through banks is quite expensive. because my brother is now also familiar with bitcoin. so i sent bitcoins worth of money needed to my brother's bitcoin address.

In a way, bitcoin is also a bank, our own bank. We can keep and manage our assets on our own, without the need for a third party to manage them, and without having to worry about our assets being stolen or frozen by someone.

But, BItcoin has more than banks can do, Bitcoin is not only a currency but also an asset for high worth investment.

Bitcoin is obviously better than the traditional bank, but sometimes we still need the existence of the bank, can not eliminate the bank completely. When you need money or capital to cover emergency situations, bitcoin will not help you in this situation, but with the bank it can. They are willing to help you with certain conditions, although they do not help us for free but in this case the bank is necessary.

It's true that bitcoin was created for new innovations as an alternative that is widely used today, maybe because decentralization makes it easier for people whenever they are needed, including some friends, I can transact, just sender and receiver, it's done.
Although the existing payment system will not be replaced but in my opinion this will be a rival to bitcoin because the article has many who transact bitcoin but everything will happen if mass adoption really exists.

Bitcoin has indeed been liked by many including me who continues to invest in bitcoin in any way, because I think bitcoin will be high in the very near future, even though the profit is high / high risk but this is still my reference to bitcoin compared to other assets .

My aspect of bitcoin makes for an important record for my investments in the next few years.

I like bitcoin literally it is because of my country's adoption and of course safe from thieves like you are having a lot of physical money precious stones and metals as investments which can endanger someone's life most especially when you are living in a third world country like mine. Though Bitcoin for me is best when you buy and hodl as an investment but here i can actually use it to buy things online unfortunately I have nothing but wallet only since I had nothing to invest as I am in the process of recovering from the super typhoon.
bitcoin and crypto are only safe until the one having them keep them safe. everyday hundreds of thousands dollars worth of bitcoin and other altcoins being stolen. hacked and scammed from innocent and uneducated bitcoin and crypto holders because they know how to protect their coins and which wallet to use and not share their private keys to anyone.
it is true that bitcoin is safer than physical money. but still there are risks and everyone should always be cautious about that.

I admire how Bitcoin can improve our financial situation just by being owned, held, and sold at the highest price one day. The widespread use of bitcoin and its emergence as a substitute for traditional payment methods is a positive indication in any nation.

Those attributes which you have highlighted are especially suitable. Bitcoin is actively used and practically every person is interested in investing in bitcoin. The returns of cash which bitcoin generates are more substantial. Actually bitcoin is recognized in every nation and locality and is more acknowledged  as compared to the others. Now a days the bitcoin is suffering from the declining and reducing  price but there is a great deal of hope for its evaluation to reach a peak again.

If my monthly income in $500, and  my monthly living expenses is $350. That is to say every month I have $150 for misc which investment is among them. Can you explain to me how rich I could be by investing in bitcoin at this stage? The essence of my question is; bitcoin is not only for buying, holding and selling at a later higher price. There is more to bitcoin.

"...and its emergence as a substitute for traditional payment" it would make more acceptable if you can rephrase your statement as "...and its emergence as an alternative to traditional payment".

Part of the question also would be whether you have various other emergency savings in place in order that your surplus $150 per month is truly available for you to spend.

Admittedly in such a tight situation, you might NOT be able to feel comfortable investing a lot into bitcoin, and so if you are able to invest $10 per week, you may well have to wait more than 10 years before you start to feel that you have a sufficient enough savings/investment in bitcoin in order to start to feel more wealthy by it and that you have more options.

You are correct with the suggestion that lower amounts of investment does make it more difficult to tangibly measure that you are benefiting by bitcoin and having bitcoin as one of your options.  Nonetheless, bitcoin does seem to be amongst the best of investments that are available to people, even people with very tight budgets.

Sure there can be some benefits in having bitcoin in society, even if you personally are not able to invest in bitcoin, but it does seem better to be able to invest into bitcoin with as much as you can reasonably muster up without over extending yourself, even if you are poor and with a low monthly cashflow.

People just too scared to even give a shot into new things , new revolutionary stuff like bitcoin , we are in early stage and indeed many still can't accept the fact bitcoin are so helpful to solve monetary problems despite yeah there might several 'bugs' to fix , nothing perfect though.

People tend to follow what media says about bitcoin and a lot of people thinks bitcoin are the greatest scam unfortunately.

Bitcoin serves as an alternate and in different means it easily overcome the flaws of the traditional fiat. Majority of the investment into bitcoin is upon the growth expectancy. This happens for sure, we also need the patience to experience the growth than just investing and expecting back the profit overnight. For now Investment on bitcoin can limit an user from spending, because these days direct usage of cash have decreased alot.

People find the digital money(digital form of fiat) as mere numbers and spend on needs as well as on unwanted things. Keeping it in bitcoin could make as prioritise investment and lower the unwanted spending.

did you really memorize your private key and seed phrase? that's almost impossible to do. and it is better to write down your private key and seed phrase somwhere safe and secure so if you forget that by chance so you can still recover your wallet.
just don't keep your keys in your laptop or mobile because they have risk of getting hacked and stolen.

The point you bought up that it was a response to 2008 market downfall. I agree with that completely. The banking financial system is inherently flawed and manipulative. Whenever we have more money in our pockets and we can really become rich. Governments deliberately increases interest rates. Because they want high inflation, control prices and keep us poor and enslaved. I think Bitcoin can be our freedom.

but unfortunately some governments will never agree with the transparency that bitcoin provides. Countries with high corruption really will not fully implement bitcoin, this will be a threat to those who are used to working dirty.

Although bitcoin has loopholes for crime, it is not a reason not to legalize bitcoin due to several factors, the government must use broader parameters.  Let's just assume that the use of bitcoin in a country is greatly increasing and it is not yet regulated, then how much tax money is missed from millions of dollars of transactions every day? This also means the country is losing money every day (at least from those who are tax compliant).

I think very soon bitcoin will be accepted in every country and bitcoin will become a trusted coin. Because Bitcoin is legalized in many countries. And they don't need any third party to transact through this Bitcoin. By doing this they do not have to worry and they do not have to pay any fee.If we transact through a bank then the bank deducts a lot of charges from us but through Bitcoin we can transact with them directly which gives them and us many advantages and soon paper money will be removed and cryptocurrency coins will be in circulation all over the world. So never fear of losing bitcoins. It is a trusted coin. The price of Bitcoin may be very low now but we can expect this Bitcoin to go much higher in the future. And then the market conditions will be good and then it is hoped that many countries will then declare Bitcoin legal.

In developing nations, this technology is enabling more practical operations that will enable translucency and combat corruption in governments.
never forget that we must not only look about the good qualities but also on what is Bitcoin in bad days , because this will help you understand more the crypto and how this will be for your entire career.
you seems to be a new from this market but i like your thoughts and beliefs , but it is important that you also understand the other side of crypto using and not just because this helps you now as one day there will be against your dealings .

Hard not to like that it's deflationary by virtue of a hard cap/fixed supply and halving events.  It also is a truly global currency that's not controlled by any nation.

Undoubtedly, bitcoin has many advantages over traditional currencies and banks. Yes, there are many reasons to like bitcoin and the crypto community will agree with me. But there are no ideal financial instruments, which bitcoin is also not. Any advantage has a counterbalance in the form of a disadvantage and bitcoin is not without them. It is necessary to take this into account and soberly evaluate so as not to get into an unpleasant situation. Bitcoin gives people great opportunities, but also requires great responsibility and caution. If bitcoin allows to become your own bank, then be prepared to take on responsibilities ranging from accountant to security officer. Not everyone will want to do this and not everyone may have the appropriate skills, but everything can be learned. Still, I believe that in the right hands, bitcoin provides great opportunities and advantages, and this technology has long earned a positive attitude from its followers.

I think he is just making fun with the op because it is not possible for our private key to be memorized as its composed of a long characters while I think it is possible to memorize a 12 word seed phrase although I don't recommend this because we might forget it overtime. It is still better to store it in a a secure place. In my case I store my keys on a different location including my phone and laptop. When I lose my gadget or they are stolen from me, I don't think the thief will have an idea if what is a private key because cryptos are not yet really known in my place.

I also rename it differently so that it will not be obvious that it's a private key and they also have a password. They will have a hard time opening it first before they can be able to open my wallet but before they did it, I already move my coins in a new wallet. :D.

Bad things people are saying about didn't just started of recent ,  right from the beginning when bitcoin started existing few who know very well bitcoin is good choosed to say different lies about it, but that can't stop bitcoiners to hate bitcoin. If bitcoin price drops low it is not new and its never a surprise because we all know bitcoin is volatile and everyday can't continue to bullish. People who criticise bitcoin are only lying to themselves,  criticising bitcoin won't make bitcoin to be what they think about it.

Nobody cares about Bitcoin before until a big bang happens to it that attracts the attention of the majority and even in the business sector. It was the start that people gave interest in this as a sort of investment, not a form of currency. But for now, it was to see that many people are using this to purchase goods and other things. And the good thing that we really appreciated is we can use this anywhere as long as we have internet.

The economy is too demanding to people whose economy is not stable, even some stable economies are suffering. Within the interval of 1 year and few months, the cost of goods tripled. The fact that it aims at the retail investor more than the big ones is the main reason. Big ones like to gobble up stocks and just hold them for decades if they can, you can do that with crypto as well but meanwhile it will go up and down a lot and thats what they do not like .I can watch my investments go from 5k to 500 to 10k and I would not be phased by it, or maybe some people would be scared about it as well. but no hedge fund could watch their money go from 5 billion to 500 million to 10 billion, and even the fact that they can't sell it easily is a good reason, because they would ruin the market if they tried and would have to sell for cheaper. So its great for you and me, not great for wall street bankers.

The answer could be no. And if it is No, the zeal or the guts to commit half of the $150 into bitcoin investment won't be there.

That's right.  We should not be referring to guts because if it takes "guts" for any of us to be investing, that means that we are gambling rather than investing.  So in essence your cashflow and emergency funds have to be shored up first in order to realize that you have enough money to be putting into bitcoin.. so for example, if you are still building up your emergency fund, then maybe you could put $10 per month of that $140 into bitcoin, and the remaining $140 goes into building up your emergency fund, and then after a few months of building up your emergency funds maybe you could increase your investment into bitcoin to $20 per month and then later to higher amounts, and surely once you get to the point of being about to invest half ($75) into bitcoin, then you are likely going to be doing well... and if your emergency fund keeps growing, you might get to a point that you are able to do even more than half of your surplus cash of $150 into bitcoin... but of course, how much will be something that you would need to monitor and make sure that you are not devolving into gambling rather than investing.

The economy is too demanding to people whose economy is not stable, even some stable economies are suffering.

I have have been projecting out my finances for more than 30 years, and these days, I tend to project out 2 years in advance.  I remember when I was younger, my finances were more simple in terms of the various kinds of expenses and fewer investments, so I could project out only 6 months and keep around a $600 cushion in my projection at all times (plus having other kinds of emergency funds built up in case some of my cash flows were to dry up and/or my expenses were to become greater).  As the number of my obligations (and sometimes even my cashflow) became more complicated, I had to create more cushion and also to increase my various forms of emergency funds.

So for sure if there are complications in the economy, then there is more needs to project out cashflows and even more needs to assess the various ways that emergency funds are being held (how long does it take to get to the emergency funds and are the emergency funds earning anything and do they need to earn anything?).

Within the interval of 1 year and few months, the cost of goods tripled. When I examine the reality, I tend to measure people with fairness balance.

We are likely seeing these kinds of changes in our lives.  We are seeing what we are told the "cost of living" has gone up, and we are seeing the reality in our lives which might not be the same as what we are being told.  People might question if they can make any changes to their income or to their expenses and do they want to make changes.. and sometimes there can be a desire to make changes, but it might not be really practical to make changes.  So the ability to save and invest can be affected by these kinds of matters.

This is the honest reality and it must be told with boldness. Another question is how many people who is living under the aforementioned budget would be disciplined enough to leave an investment for 10yrs even when in need? A few I guess, that is the irony.

It is really difficult to NOT tap into your investment as it is growing, and I am sure that a lot of people end up tapping into various aspects of their investment too much and too soon, even if they are not liquidating the whole investment, they may well end up shaving off too much of the profits too early and once they shave off profits, then they are in a worse place in terms of allowing the savings/investment an ability to be able to compound upon itself.

Let's say for example, a person makes $10k per year, and over 10 years, they are able to save up around $10k in total into bitcoin (which would be 10% per year), and if they let the investment into bitcoin grow during that time, then the BTC investment might end up growing in such a way that it adds up to representing several years of salary - perhaps 3x to 10x of their salary, and it will be quite difficult to resist tapping into such savings/investment several times along the way.. and I am not even suggesting that they do not tap into some of that savings/investment as it grows, even though there is considerable advantages to allowing the investment to compound.. yet one of the advantage of having some funds that are largely growing is the fact that more options have been created.. And, just having more options can be quite empowering... and the whole life of the person can be improved by creating more options...

and sure, maybe the more poor person is not able to save $1k per year, and instead such more poor person is ONLY able to save $500 per year, so over 10 years, that more poor has ONLY been able to save $5k rather than $10k.. so perhaps their BTC investment will be half of the size of the more well off investor.. but still the poor person who has been able to save $5k might still be able to get a 3x to 10x advantage in terms of the value of the BTC that has been saved, and they are going to be in better position if they had been able to minimize the number of instances in which they had been tapping into their BTC investment.

Truth, bitcoin presents one of the finest opportunities for everyone to invest, including people with very tight budgets. But the the bitcoin level of uncertainty is second to none.

You might be exaggerating a bit KingsDen because there are many way worse investments than bitcoin, including getting involved in shitcoins.  Getting involved in shitcoins would be a worse investment because you never know when you might get rug pulled.

Even compared to late 2013 (when I got into bitcoin), the current investment thesis for bitcoin seems way better than what it was in late 2013.  Sure there is less upside potential now (as compared with late 2013), but there is also less potential for downside, too.

Yeah.. we never completely get rid of the downside risk in bitcoin or in any other kind of investment, but I still think that bitcoin remains amongst the best (if not the very best) of actual investments in which some poor person (and therefore open to anyone) can invest small amounts and still be able to potentially profit from having access to an investment asset (and category) that is better.  Sure if you are worried, then you just invest less, and still I understand that even a poor person who might not even be able to invest $10 per week is going to still have struggles to invest the $10 per week.. so these kinds of poor persons can just do what they can. and there are still good odds that they will profit from their investment.. even if it takes a while and even if they feel that they have to struggle to put aside $10 per week or less.

That is why some early birds to bitcoin who refused to invest are regretting today. While the opportunity is still available now, some are still uncertain because bitcoin might not survive this year, then by 2030 there would be another set of people who will regret the opportunity being missed today.

Sure there are people who regret for failing and refusing to take action.  There are a lot of those people.. Each of us likely know several of those people who seem to agree that it might be a good idea to put a bit of money into bitcoin, but they continue to fail/refuse to take any concrete action that does not even need to be a lot of money.. If they are whimpy and scared, they can just choose a relatively small amount of money (such as $10 per week), but yeah, they just continue to live with regret over and over and over and they continue to say:

"I should have listened to you when you told me about bitcoin in 2014"  or

"I should have listened to you when you told me about bitcoin in 2017" or

"I should have listened to you when you told me about bitcoin in 2019" or

"I should have listened to you when you told me about bitcoin in 2022"   or

yes.. substitute whichever year in there, and the ongoing theme remains a failure/refusal to act, and even when I tell people that if they are whimpy then they can just invest a small amount, and they don't even do that either... .. so there is not really much of anything that can be done about those folks, and maybe at some point they will get into bitcoin after everyone they know is also into bitcoin.

Bitcoin is indeed bringing changes to how a lot of things are being done, but on the part of fighting corruption in the government, I am yet to see any proof on that. I think a corrupt government still stays corrupt and wouldn’t be changed by bitcoin. If the people really wants to combat corruption in their country, then it is their duty to do so by voting in the right candidates for the job and also holding them accountable for the decisions they make.

You are likely correct that bitcoin is not going to change people from being people, and it is not going to completely change folks from being abusive of their power when they are in power, but what would you consider to happen if certain people were no longer able to pull shenanigans on the remainder of the population and giving that money to their friends (or the ones closest to the spigot - I.e. - the Cantillon effect)?

Would you consider that removing some of the abilities to print money willy nilly might not help to inspire some better incentives (or at least remove some of the bad incentives) that exists for folks who are playing god with their ongoing manipulation of the money?

You don’t have to physically carry it around. You can gutter the paper or plastic and free up your precious fund space.
Well you do have to carry a device or something if you want to make payments with bitcoins. It's the same as carrying your card or your phone to make payments when buying anything. With fiat system you can go cashless if you want.

Bitcoin is like a bank that’s in no way closed, this currency is moving and available 24/7. Further people and places are starting to accept it, from coffee shops to real estate possessors, this is a currency gaining traction and seems to be gaining worldwide acceptance.

Available 24/7 if people are using non custodial wallet. But sadly most people use custodial wallets and exchange to make transactions.

The Bitcoin community has quality memes and GIF games.
Worst way to promote bitcoin. Don't mix bitcoin with memes. It's a "serious legit" currency. You make it sound like bitcoin is just another shit currency that is living all because of the memes.

Basically it's impossible for someone to like something without a reason and I'm sure you have your own reasons why you love Bitcoin so much. The Bitcoin phenomenon can be described as excitement, especially among fanatical Investors on Crypto assets. The excitement that comes with it varies greatly, investors who invest in Bitcoin can feel their level of excitement when participating in Bitcoin.
If you see the Crypto community starting to love bitcoin, it happened spontaneously, because there is no non-speculative system that can be relied on other than Bitcoin to make money from time to time in a fast way. Although the risk of loss still cannot be separated from Bitcoin investment, the prospect of Bitcoin investment is very promising because Bitcoin is prepared for people who dare to take risks.

Bitcoin doesn't fight corruption directly, it's a symbol of transparency and the government hates transparency because they feel the people will see everything they are doing. If the government adopt bitcoin as a means of payment, legally adopted within a country as a legal tender, the rate at which people will steal mass money will be cut down to zero. Imagine where the government allocated $4 million for a mass project, the wallet address is visible to be public and everyone else is seeing the balance, do you think they wouldn't hold public leaders accountable for missing funds, stealing will become difficult and corruption will become completely eradicated.

which is why it is one of the reasons bitcoin is still difficult to accept in government. From the very beginning, bitcoin had a loophole to do money laundering, and that happened a lot in several countries with officials who committed acts of corruption. if this can be legalized, of course their scope for money laundering will be non-existent, because it can already be protected by law and can be accounted Moreover, bitcoin is a very profitable investment tool, so storing it in the long term will provide even greater profits

Financial laws are also made by humans which profitably also involves everyone, although there are some people who just want to run their minds by not following the flow of laws that have been made such as money laundering. But for now Bitcoin is still an option for each person who likes it because of some facts that have been proven in the past and obviously never harm as long as everyone who keeps it still has the patience to get the profit he wants.

I agree, technically bitcoin is the benchmark. It is impossible to enumerate all the possibilities that have become available with its popularity. Even considering that the cryptocurrency market is currently unstable, more and more companies are implementing bitcoin, this says a lot. This means that all the advantages of bitcoin cover all the disadvantages associated with its price today.

It’s decentralized, no need for any 3rd party to babysit your sale and take a piece of it. In developing nations, this technology is enabling more practical operations that will enable translucency and combat corruption in governments.
Bitcoin is really becoming very popular now. Bitcoin is now touching every country and every person Once upon a time people didn't know what Bitcoin was but now almost everyone knows about Bitcoin.Bitcoin will become more and more popular and at some point this Bitcoin will be the most preferred medium of exchange all over the world. But that day may not be far away and we will soon see it.

Not everyone is ready to take risks in bitcoin investing especially if they are not well rounded investors. Consciously or not, I'm sure many inexperienced people are also trying their luck in bitcoin investment with the amount of money they have. They vary widely, but it's not uncommon for them to come out empty-handed.

You probably know that many investors or traders have gambled on the fluctuations in the price of bitcoin. They don't do any analysis but they seem brave enough to risk money on something they don't know. Yes, it might be good if they understand the basics of investing but I think it's still not enough.

Bitcoin need not to be carried everywhere?
Fiat have got to be the same, there is no need of carrying fiat. Just as crypto it is possible to tap/scan and pay.

Bitcoin as a bank of 24/7
This is true, bitcoin being decentralised it can be operated whenever we need. With banking it is possible with certain restrictions around.

Bitcoin created by software people to hack the financial system
There is no plan of hack, but to create a better system the people (individual/group) worked on it and succeeded in it.

Eliminating third party
This is the core for which Satoshi innovated bitcoin and the real usage is happening around. Another thing people are used to centralized platforms and the same makes them continue using centralized services for cryptocurrencies too.

Holding Bitcoin is like holsing gold which value cam appreciate any time from now so we don't have to be afraid on what we are investing on. The price is volatile which makes it risky to be considered as an investment. Investing in Bitcoin can bring fortune if the aim is to hold for a very long time.

would really be just normal that they would really be ending up with those kind of impressions but we know that each person does have their own mindset and impression towards things basing up on
some factors whether we could say that it was right or not.

Just let those people do able to realize on whats the truth which they would eventually find it out later on.

So bitcoin wouldn't really change that, like for example my own nation has a website that shows all the money spent on what, and government and cities are spending their money to friends anyway without worry, because they know that you either vote for them, or you vote for their opponents which you dislike, hence they know their fans will accept their corruption.

If you believe that the whole world is corrupt and all actions are futile, then you live in a pretty jaded world.

Of course, there is corruption in a lot of places, and some of that corruption seems to be right in the open in terms of which entities (and persons) are getting awarded government contracts - but there are still levels regarding the extent to which allocation of contracts is acceptable to be open or closed.. and there are levels to whether societies value purporting to have standards, practices and procedures and the rule of law.. or if it is just willy nilly.  The degree of corruption makes a huge fucking differences and if you believe that all kinds of corruptions are the same, then you are living in a world of futility.. or at least those kinds of ideas about whether the actions of any of us matter.

Getting back to bitcoin.  Sure, bitcoin cannot fix everything and cannot fix everything right away, but if you ponder over how various fiat systems are manipulated, bitcoin brings objectivity to several of those matters, and soundness to the money.. and having monetary soundness seems to be something that is lacking in a lot of ways.. .Sure some forms of money are more sound than other forums of money in terms of having foundations in production, yet there is no money that even comes close to the soundness of bitcoin, so in that regard, having sound money is quite likely to improve a lot of incentives all over the world, and bitcoin is already seeming to have that effect in terms of its inspiration of minds and then creation of sound incentives.

The more that the monetary values of people, institutions and governments gravitate into bitcoin, the more likely we are going to continue to witness incentives within bitcoin improving and also incentives of other competing systems improving.. just take money transmission systems into account.

Some of the monetary transmission systems have had to try to improve their systems for sending money both in terms of their fees but also in terms of their timelines for transmitting money/value, so in that regard, bitcoin is likely already positively affecting some of these systems, even if credit is not given to bitcoin for the improvements. Likely similar improvements are happening in regards to gold and silver markets because they are trying to compete with bitcoin, but they are way inferior to bitcoin, so they are likely going to continue to lose market share to bitcoin for years and years and years (even decades) to come.

Other systems that are currently storing value are going to lose value to bitcoin too because they are less efficient than bitcoin in terms of storing value.. sure some of the systems have utility value or even productivity and innovations, so those systems are likely going to continue to hold some of their value, but the monetary value is quite likely to flow to bitcoin and to continue to flow to bitcoin because bitcoin is way more of a pure system that is designed specifically to be the soundest of monies and it is ongoingly gaining traction in the direction of the soundest of monies because more and more people, institutions and governments are recognizing bitcoin as the soundest of monies and a unique asset class that had never previously existed.. so people are getting used to it, which is likely causing their behaviors to improve and to continue to improve, even if it is likely going to take several decades to play out and to figure out because there are going ot be ongoing battles and even uses of bitcoin for gambling and for the objectives of enemies, so the battle for value to gravitate into bitcoin is not going to play out in smooth kumbaya ways in the coming decades, even though it seems quite poised to win and quite poised to continue to inspire more sound behaviors that line up with having a sound money (bitcoin) that is in existence and continuing to gain influence in its existence (and adoption) to more and more segments of the world whether friends or enemies.

There are very few people who don't like Bitcoin these days. Because when you invest, the amount of wealth increases, that wealth is saved and in original way you will understand that Bitcoin is a priceless asset. Although many of you have moved from gold trading to bitcoin investing and the benefits are doubling. Trust yourself when you engage in such activities continues to gain and it has become widely popular. Bitcoin is a well-known coin

You may well be exaggerating the knowledge and awareness of people regarding bitcoin.  I would proclaim that an overwhelming majority of people have hardly any clue about what bitcoin is, even if they heard the word and even if some of them might have decided to dabble in bitcoin.  We are still in very early stages of adoption, even though there are surely some folks who have figured out that bitcoin is similar to gold, but actually better than gold (as you mentioned).. but the number of people who are actually both aware of bitcoin's investment thesis and who are employing meaningful and prudent investment strategies in order to attempt to coordinate their BTC investment allocation with such a sound money investment thesis is low as fuck.. it's so low that ONLY less than 1% of the world's population has invested in bitcoin, and maybe even many of us who have invested in bitcoin have not really sufficiently and/or adequately invested into bitcoin... and surely the bitcoin hoards like Michael Saylor and a few others do make up for some of the lack of passion (and action) of the overwhelming majority of the worlds population who do not even own 1 satoshi and have not taken action to start securing some satoshis just in case bitcoin catches on.

And, for sure there are no guarantees that bitcoin's price is going to continue to go up, even though bitcoin seems to be amongst the best (and probably the best) asymmetric bet to the upside that anyone could make in these times... and bitcoin is available to everyone and anyone with even very small amounts of money to invest on a regular basis.. even as low as $10 per week or lower amounts can be bought. which is surely not true for a large number of other assets/investments to be so available to anyone who merely has enough resources to figure out how to hold their private keys.. whether paper wallet or on lightning network or even some kind of an electronic device (and may not even need to be a smart phone, but could be a card or a chip).. and they can also hold their keys in their head (not recommended) and other ways of holding back up seeds.. still a lot of innovations and ways of interfacing with the network to be able to hold private keys (hopefully improving user-friendliness, but there still may well be some learning involved in the various ways to hold private keys - or to have them held by third-parties, second-parties.. or by uncle Jims)

Another best thing is, bitcoin stimulates so many young entrepreneurs to develop their own projects. In addition, bitcoin can be a flexible investment. You can get hold of it for a long period of time with a potential return that even exceeds any other physical investment. it's just that, among the many advantages, advantages, and benefits of bitcoin, there are still quite a lot of people who see and take advantage of this from the negative side. well, it's hard to stop, but this can be a lesson so that we can use things more wisely.

Of course its being loved by people because of the non-regulation and decentralization. I mean think about how much freedom this gives us. This is why I believe that the best thing to do is not to even care about the current situation and the bear market because no matter what happens we are going to end up with a lot of better results in the end due to this decentralization asset that we have. People will keep on seeing how much corruption and control politicians have, and they will keep on going into bitcoin a lot more.

If the people really wants to combat corruption in their country, then it is their duty to do so by voting in the right candidates for the job and also holding them accountable for the decisions they make.

Bitcoin is just a financial tool, helping us to improve our finances, making payments and keeping our assets safe. Bitcoin is not a court or a judge that can stop corruption in government or stop criminal activities. I think you are asking too much about the possibilities of bitcoin.
Corruption is human behavior and it can only be controlled if we have a good enough government apparatus to do it.
In some communist countries, the right to vote is not yet in the hands of the people, so they cannot prevent corruption either.

Bitcoin has had many ups and downs, and people are not looking to have bitcoin right now because it seems to them that it is an asset that will not rise in price, some people I talk to tell me that bitcoin is not safe because they are not supported by banks and the only government that supports them is that of El Salvador.

It is very difficult to make them understand that bitcoin does not need support because otherwise it would be controlled in its entirety, I explain to them that the most beautiful thing about this is that any person can have control of a part of the market, and it is by buying and selling, but only the who decide to invest will enjoy good profits.

Because they refer to a security that they think is stable then it must be linked to a bank but they don't dare to own bitcoin because there is still a sense of fear and panic due to price fluctuations but in fact this can reverse prices to be higher once we know the cycle happened before, I myself trust bitcoin more than others because it has its own control over everything.

Actually about talking about bitcoin, many friends have asked me this, but I always explain with my own principles, bitcoin is an asset that is controlled by itself without other parties we can store and sell whenever you want that's what I like compared to other assets .

But in my friend's view, there are those who believe in bitcoin assets and those who don't, but what is clear is that I enjoy investing in bitcoin with confidence in its optimism.

Thank you sir I agree with you. Because Bitcoin is a virtual currency that you can make profits and losses when you invest. That's why we can say that Bitcoin is loved by everyone because it is a trending time Currency which is in circulation in all countries due to which people of almost all countries of the world are leaning towards this currency. So it can be said that Bitcoin is preferred by more or less everyone. And looking to the future Popularity can be noticed by everyone.

Honestly I don't really care about how people value bitcoin, whether positive or negative, at least everyone is not too subject to the current reality, and in the crypto world there are no rules and are free to own it without being regulated by their government, because that's a lot of people who switch to digital assets, where they can store their assets as they please, so don't be surprised by the growth of bitcoin every year, and it will continue to grow over time...

I am interested in Bitcoin because the system makes it very easy for me to make transactions using Bitcoin, not only that I tried to invest in Bitcoin at that time in a few years later Bitcoin changed my life for the better in the future, so at that time I really liked Bitcoin, not only that, I also introduced it to my close friends to find out how Bitcoin works and their response was very curious and then they tried to invest in Bitcoin.

You have noticed the changes and people are adapting to new technology which is more preferred than fiat money especially if we are too busy in life that has limited time to go to the bank. It means that this idea has been welcome in the community and more people are able to move their assets into digital currencies like Bitcoin. It is to see that Bitcoin gives a huge change in the community in regards to their lifestyle and of course, an opportunity to make investments.

I don't know why I heard the name Bitcoin so much in 2014, I was so interested in trying to get to know bitcoin more deeply, sharing a little story, that year where I decided to stop working, and focused on learning to make money in Bitcoin, it was quite unexpected.  2016 to 2017, Bitcoin changed my life at that time, where bitcoin was trending in cyberspace, even the price rose so high, making everyone want to have bitcoin, and my economy was helped by Bitcoin, why I like Bitcoin  because Bitcoin helped me to own many real assets, especially house and other assets..

I mean governments can't regulate bitcoin itself, they can still regulate you, people need to understand this about regulations. What you do with bitcoin is regulated and it is regulated heavily, but what bitcoin wants to do can't be controlled by any government.

In reality, it can be, but would require trillions to do it, nations would have to get together and all politicians would agree to buy bitcoin as much as they can without making the price go up too much, and then they would own majority enough to control it, even buy miners to follow it, and then create a new blockchain and go with that. But it would be a futile attempt since we would just create our own and go there.

The way that incentives are structured in bitcoin, it is doubtful that owning a lot of bitcoin gives you any extra power, and it surely has been asserted that the node runners have more power than the miners.. so it is erroneous to proclaim that miners are able to control bitcoin or even to be able to sustain any kind of majority mining scenario, as you have acknowledged that there are possible counter measures that could be played with bitcoin if there was an appearance that the network was being attempted to be taken over my some overly influential power that was attempting to change or modify BTC consensus in ways that were not generally accepted by the overwhelming majority of the bitcoiners (which largely seems to be the node runners who count in bitcoin..).

It has been even tried before, bitcoin cash people are giants of bitcoin mining world and they wanted to prevent segwit and try to do something of their own and they failed, after they failed to move bitcoin that way, they created a copy of it which is going down the ranks like crazy nowadays.

Long story short if miners had any sway in the crypto world then they would have decided something long time ago, they are not and they do not have that kind of power and people could do whatever they want with it. This means that we shouldn't really expect much from the miners, they will follow where the money is but if you force them to follow somewhere else, they have to, forcefully or not.

But in my friend's view, there are those who believe in bitcoin assets and those who don't, but what is clear is that I enjoy investing in bitcoin with confidence in its optimism.
it is up to each individual to believe in bitcoin or not. But what is certain is that bitcoin is not regulated by anyone and all under our own control as bitcoin holders. related to these price fluctuations will provide advantages and disadvantages depending on how we use it, must have an understanding of the cryptocurrency market so as not to panic too much.
Bitcoin provides many opportunities for us and becomes a good future asset and a profitable future investment.
I have never forced them to believe in bitcoin but I always provide a learning space so that they understand about cryptocurrencies, especially bitcoin as my main investment, this can be understood by them but for sure I always explain in detail not only about the advantages but also the disadvantages explain how the big risk in cryptocurrency, especially in times of fluctuation, is how we control it, but if we can withstand the trials that come, we can win in terms of profits.

Of course I explained how bitcoin has a very big chance in the future will be bright (version of my view to try to convince them) on the other hand I also tell how we must face when difficult times such as bearish, fomo, hype etc. we must be able to doing it right in the sense of getting past the bad stuff that got him out of the trap.

People should be more honest to say why they really like bitcoin, I know there are many who are enthusiasts and like it for technology and to collect them, others see it because they like to trade, and others like it because it is money that it can be inflated a lot and helps you to have a better life, full of luxuries, and to always have money, which means that you will never have economic problems, that the concern about having a life of hard work is gone, and what is coming are other types of problems, what most people do is enjoy, travel, and give life, all that is what bitcoin can achieve.

That's really more important to me whenever trying to get someone to be interested and to give them a sound foundation for the future when they learn on their own. Bitcoin's pretty awesome, we all know that and we all get to know that even more with use. But there are shortcomings, plenty, if you really want to pick at threads -- but those usually are being worked on and the recognition of them says a lot about Bitcoin development and what's in store.

Not only from a market perspective though... utility itself, all the extra care you have to enforce and habitualise.

Not everyone has the same sentiments as there are people who dislike bitcoins because they lose money in future trading and they blame it is because of bitcoins (in reality it is the wrong decision and lack of trading knowledge).

Most people like bitcoins as they are making out of it by either investing or trading. There may be only a few people who are actually interested in the technology itself.

It is true that bitcoin has futuristic technology and unique design that is superior to fiat or gold. But I also have to admit that nowadays, people invest in bitcoin mainly for profit, and not because of the technology behind it. The desire for bitcoin to be mass accepted or become a means of payment is also a profit goal because then everyone wants to own bitcoin, and the demand increases, thereby causing bitcoin to increase sharply. Really few, very few people will hold it because of the technology.

Everything about BTC feels like it is just not from this generation. Yet i was created way back. Yet people haven't realise it's best parts and haven't accepted it completely.
But as days are passing, we can see many people and country accepting this as a payment method. Many use it for it's beneficial part and others just use it to look fancy.
Whatever the reason they are using it, this will help BTC to spread to people and get acceptance.

Anyone who feels that Bitcoin is not of this generation is because they do not have faith as well, a person who wants Bitcoin and buys, not only should be congratulated but encouraged to build the foundations for their future, people judge bitcoin a lot because at the moment it is low, low compared to the last price that was for $70k, they no longer tell it that it is the bubble, because with that they also began to brag saying it, since they have no more options to attack, they invent others .

Bitcoin not only arrived at this time but will transcend more generations, it will be for our children's children and will have much more value, those in the future will say: why didn't my grandparents buy Bitcoin when it was at $20 thousand?

using bitcoin as a means of payment is very easy and practical, we don't need to bother when making payments, but unfortunately in my country bitcoin can't be used as a means of payment, it is only used as an asset, maybe in countries that have adopted or allowed bitcoin as a means of payment, it is very good to make it easier for someone to transact when buying something, hopefully in the future in my country bitcoin can be used as a means of payment as well.

In the generation that we have today, it cannot be denied that bitcoin is already well known all over the world today. And I can also say that many countries are becoming open in this matter, although there are still others that are not yet open.

I'm lucky and my country is one of the ones that tomorrow is part of this system that has the world of digital currency there are already several digital wallets and digital banks that can legally operate here with us, because of the bitcoin that we discussed.

And because of that, even though Bitcoin is the best means of payment, people in many countries cannot do Bitcoin transactions properly due to illegality.

Even though there may well be different kinds of obstacles in terms of using bitcoin in different jurisdictions, I am not sure if it is safe to presume that it will be "illegal" to use bitcoin in any jurisdictions merely because some jurisdictions have a large variety of obstacles.

In other words, I believe it is not a good idea to discourage anyone from looking into bitcoin, even if their location (jurisdiction) might have a lot of regulatory obstacles.

For sure, each person should attempt to get some ideas about what kinds of channels are available to transact in bitcoin and various ways to potentially get bitcoin.

I am going to predict that sometimes countries are going to change their various regulations, and it is not very easy for countries to stop people from directly transacting with bitcoin, even if they say it is illegal.. including that there might be businesses that refuse to "officially" transact with bitcoin, but if they know you, they still might transact with you.

There also might still be people who buy /sell bitcoin, but still there may well be some need to search out options and figure out the various ways to get bitcoin or is it only possible to contact people through various internet ways.. and then there might be questions about whether communications are being monitored, too.

Similar kinds of issues could come up for any one of us if we travel, and then if we try to figure out whether we could "get in trouble" if we try to transact with bitcoin in a location in which we do not know the rules.  Local people should have more advantages about learning about what is available in their jurisdiction than the tourists, but sometimes tourists know things about transacting bitcoin in which the local people might not have realized would be available to them so long as they might meet someone (or even go to a bitcoin meetup) to learn about some matters related to bitcoin.

Yes, if we do not know Techkoy407's country, then we might not know what to say, and is there any local section on this forum related to your country?

But very soon everyone will understand the importance of using Bitcoin. And you can be sure that very soon Bitcoin will be legalized in all countries.

I agree with this part, but in the mean time, there can be some locations that become very strict about bitcoin before they become easier about bitcoin, and frequently governments talk out of both sides of their mouth to make matters confusing (and maybe even on purpose).

Bitcoin has already been legalized in many major countries. Because they understand that Bitcoin is the safest and easiest way to transact.

Probably some countries are realizing that they cannot really stop it, even if they try.. but sometimes they will get new hopes about trying to stop bitcoin, so I doubt that bitcoin is going to sail to any location in which everything related to transacting bitcoin gets easier and easier with the passage of time.  I really doubt that we can generalize in regards to all locations and make those kinds of predictions that governments are going to get more rather than less permissive in regards to bitcoin.

By the way, some times they will do dumb and even exploitative things like promoting their own coin, and that happened in several locations already, and it is likely not going to stop because some governments want to create central bank currency coins, and they will likely want to promote that crap instead of allowing bitcoin.. so it seems likely that the battles in regards to whether bitcoin is permissible and usable in any jurisdiction are not going to be over any time soon..

I really love how you can carry around paper wallets with Bitcoin. Couple of months ago I restored some money out of thin air (obviously it's not air, it was paper wallet I forgot at drawers) and sold it away for quick cash. Bitcoin's usability and accessibility are enormously good. I wish there were far more acceptance to it. For example its illegal to use Bitcoin supported Mastercard/Visa in my country. I mean you should go out of country to get one literally. They don't issue it your name because of laws. Its sad.

Bitcoin's journey is still very long because bitcoin is the future that always brings new generations that will never break and continue to grow, and we can judge the difference between then and now that bitcoin continues to be popular and also develops which I think will continue.
and I personally always remind those who are new, especially those closest to me and also those I know for real that the current situation reminds us when we wasted that time. I mean now is our chance to buy it or grow ownership and hold it for the long term so that we can experience and enjoy the enormous benefits in the future, and also be able to pay back the experience we wasted that time.

When a natural disaster occurs, Bitcoin becomes a living asset. Likewise, when the house where you live is on fire, all assets are lost and Bitcoin becomes the only investment asset left behind. This is the reason why Bitcoin is my favorite asset.
Bitcoin provides convenience not complexity.

I mean it does not even matter on why would people like Bitcoin. You do you. Do whatever floats your boat.
If you're earning from it from trading then that's completely fine. There might some people bringing down other people because they like Bitcoin due to it being an investment.
This is why there are some newbies that aren't willing to learn anymore. They felt that they were being gatekept by the so-called veterans therefore losing motivation. It does not hurt to learn the other side of the niches, but it shouldn't be obliged.

Bitcoin not only arrived at this time but will transcend more generations, it will be for our children's children and will have much more value, those in the future will say: why didn't my grandparents buy Bitcoin when it was at $20 thousand?

And that's the statement I hear now, why I didn't know and bought bitcoin at the beginning, or when the bitcoin price was still low. Things like this will be around for generations, but I'm one of the lucky ones that I get to know and invest in bitcoin today. Because some people don't even know this kind of thing.
Some people deplore the current decline, even though this is an opportunity to buy when prices are low.
That statement will definitely be heard in old age, maybe our children will ask why not buy when it is low and why ignore the opportunity because indeed the next generation will continue to exist so that more and more successors will be familiar with bitcoin so I will not miss the opportunity at this low price.

Keep your investment because I believe in the future it will be even better maybe our child will be his successor, at least you do DCA or other types of ways to hoard Bitcoin with the value you can afford because the opportunity should not be missed at this time.
Let others complain, but we remain consistent on bitcoin investments at this price drop.

That's the truth because regret always comes too late.
But this mistake should be able to change people's mindset if they really believe bitcoin still has a lot of potential. There's no point in regretting the past if in the future we don't have a good plan to benefit from it. Now things won't happen again because bitcoin won't drop below $10K "imo" again, that's probably true.

Keep your investment because I believe in the future it will be even better maybe our child will be his successor,
Exactly, it is recommended. I agree with this suggestion and it should provide some benefit in the future if bitcoin increases.

You are correct that if newbies are coming into bitcoin, but then subsequently suffering from a price fall, they might feel that they are being used as a way for the older bitcoiners to cash out, and even if there is some truth to the fact that longer term investors into bitcoin have more flexibilities to cash out, that does not necessarily mean that they are dumping on newbies or that newbies are disadvantaged in terms of "investing" into bitcoin.

Bitcoin remains amongst the best, if not the very best, asymmetric bet that is in front of us today, whether we are newbies, experienced investors, institutions or governments.

As with any investment, smaller players need to attempt to figure out their own financial situation prior to investing into anything, whether bitcoin or any other investment, because if they do not figure out their own particulars, then they become more likely to make mistakes and they are unable to understand or appreciate what would be a reasonable, prudent and perhaps even an adequately aggressive investment plan for them in regards to bitcoin and at the same time not cause them to become bitter in response to BTC volatility or BTC price movements that go agains the direction that they had been expecting the BTC price to go.  There are a variety of ways to attempt to deal with BTC volatility, and surely DCA is amongst the best of those tools that are available.. but also having an investment plan that goes out 4-10 years or more is going to be helpful towards the whole perspective about BTC as an investment as well.

When the newbie investor becomes frustrated and bitter by his/her approach to bitcoin, then likely they have not planned and strategized in sound ways, and likely they have contributed to their own issues in terms of how they choose to deal with bitcoin, and if they choose either not to invest or to completely stay away from bitcoin, they are likely ONLY hurting themselves... and for sure, everyone is free to make their own choices, including their choices to not sufficiently and/or prepare  for all of the various baloney happenings in the macro-economy, and bitcoin is quite likely going to continue to serve as a very great hedge to the various ongoing macro issues.. including non-soundness of a lot of the fiat system, including the dollar being the least shitty of the various shitty currencies out there and the various bad monetary discipline that seems to exist in regards to all of them.

Newbie will definitely fail with their initial plan, it will make them have their first experience in this investment. But of course the plan is needed even though they are still beginners because in fact it will support them to get good results.

I have advised several people to invest in bitcoin so far instead of just investing in gold or other investment assets. I call them newbie because they lack knowledge and experience, but because I encourage them to learn and find out how the potential of bitcoin is, then I think they start to have long term plans. Yes, it's kind of a long-term investment that they periodically make for a few percent of their salary every month. However, I never forget that basically they also have to know what the consequences of this investment risk are.

That's right, you can use great value anywhere in the world quickly and easily. You don't have to use cash in multiple currencies and the fees are the same everywhere. You just need an internet connection and someone who accepts bitcoin as well. There is one negative and that is how many are using Bitcoin to scam, or advantage for themselves. We agree that we need more acceptance, then it will be easier for us.

In fact, it was compared to the stock market and any form of huge investments existed. MAYBE in the future could be one of the most used currencies globally but for now, it was just considered a profitable investment.

As a currency, as an investment - these are the reason why people love this.

Of course, you can use bitcoin as both a currency and as a means of investing - and another part of bitcoin's value is that it allows you to be able to do either or to do both.. and really hopefully most of us who know about bitcoin are doing both; however, there are a variety of disincentives to spend our bitcoin, including that it is most likely the soundest of monies in existence and the kind of asset that is likely to retain more of its value relative to other assets, so there remains a considerable amount of disincentives to spend the more valuable of our assets (which is bitcoin in this case).

The more bitcoin that any of us has, then the more flexibility (and options) that we have, but we may also consider that if we spend bitcoin during times in which we perceive the BTC price to be low, then we have to keep our allocations and balances of assets in mind and perhaps spend and replace our bitcoin - to the extent that we come across situations in which we might be able to find some utility in spending some of our bitcoin.

So I recognize that you (Kelvinid) are conceding that bitcoin can serve as both a currency and an investment, but you are not seeing it used very much as a currency, and there does not seem to be any problem with that.. because with the passage of time, these matters are going to continue to evolve.. including it is quite likely that if we might have some bitcoin that we keep in cold storage and then we have some bitcoin that we keep in more liquid forms, such as having some bitcoin available to us for spending (or even to receive from others) if we come across situations to transact in bitcoin... so perhaps we keep a bitcoin and a lighting network wallet on our phone (or some other easy way of doing it) for transactional purposes. .. and maybe we carry around $100 in each or some amount that is comfortable to us... for example, if I know that I am going to make a BIGGER transaction in bitcoin, then I would temporarily put more value on the mobile wallet until the transaction is completed. then remove most of the value back to my colder storage areas.  Practice is good, when the opportunities present themselves.

Beside what talked by OP about Bitcoin have been accepted payment in coffee shops to real estate possessors but still can't make bitcoin more popular for payment currency, I think your opinion true about bitcoin known as investment assets with higher profit return. Still need planning five until ten years later adopting bitcoin used currencies global looking on most influential countries like United State, United Kingdom and China not allowed bitcoin for legalizing.

As a currency, as an investment - these are the reason why people love this.
I like bitcoin as investment way only not really give impact in my country with bitcoin still not legal currency payment transaction until right now, due high demand and supply worth way for investing and earn profit with bitcoin although still not legalize as digital payment currency.

When a natural disaster occurs, Bitcoin becomes a living asset.
I think Bitcoin has nothing to do with nature in reality. Because Bitcoin is a virtual currency that does not exist in reality. Bitcoin transactions are done virtually online only.

Your realize that online/virtual can be part of the real world, depending on the application, and if you had not learned about bitcoin, bitcoin happens to be an invention that allows for value to be transferred in digital form, in a trustless way, peer to peer, and part of the reason that bitcoin is so powerful in that regard has to do with the bitcoin system having had been the first system to resolve the double spend problem through proof of work.. so there is a lot of value in the mechanism that bitcoin has established that previously had not been possible without going through third parties... with bitcoin, you can transmit value on the interwebs (virtually and intangibly) without third parties... there is no other system like it.. sure there are imitators.. but still bitcoin is the one that is really ongoingly building on this invention in which value can be attached to information, even if it might feel like it is "not real" to people like you who seem to not really understand what the fuck is bitcoin, which seems to be part of the reason that you get so caught upon trying to suggest that there is something less real about bitcoin because it is virtual rather than tangible.  Do you even know what you are talking about?

Likewise, when the house where you live is on fire, all assets are lost and Bitcoin becomes the only investment asset left behind. This is the reason why Bitcoin is my favorite asset.
And people will never want to invest in Bitcoin if the house catches fire and all the wealth is destroyed. Because then they will be afraid to burn (dump) Bitcoin too.

What?  You seem to be mixing up the point again, xzy887.

Bitcoin is not tangible, so it cannot burn (and that is part of the point of bitcoin.. it is captured on a network of computers).

Of course, there are a variety of that people can lose access to the bitcoin that they own because they lose access to the private keys.. and if the private keys are ONLY located inside of a house that burns up, then access to the bitcoin that had been associated with those private keys will be lost forever.

So surely one of the difficulties and advantages of bitcoin is being able to store the private keys in more than one location and to still potentially feel security that they are not lost and destroyed easily, even if they might be lost and destroyed in one place.  Sure, it can be a challenge to make sure that you have back ups to your private keys but have the back ups stored in such a way that they are not easily found by someone else or that they might end up being lost or destroyed or somehow not accessible when they are needed in the event that other copies of private keys had been lost or destroyed.

There are a lot of responsibilities in being your own bank, but also a lot of power.. while at the same time, the power might not be able to be exercised if there is loss to the private keys.

Bitcoin provides convenience not complexity.
Bitcoin has not only advantages, but also some disadvantages (poor market condition for Bitcoin price to go from 68k to 20k quickly) which people are realizing now.

You can look at bitcoin's price history and you can see lots of similarities to bitcoin's current price pattern, so if people are ONLY realizing BTC's negative price volatility - to the extent that it is negative, then they must be living in la la land.

Some of your friends might live in la la land xzy887, yet that does not mean that everyone lives in the same place as those people who are just realizing that BTC's prices could go down quickly.. .

The features you mentioned in this topic are the features that put Bitcoin in the class of revolution. I also love Bitcoin because of these features, but I love it most because of its portability feature. Nobody knows how much money you have. No one will even know you have money. Just memorize your seed key and feel comfortable. Nobody can read your mind. This is a great feature.

More than the reasons that OP posted, the fact that BTC is the currency under the blockchain speaks about financial freedom- lack of any control from the government on our transactions. This is mainly the reason on why some countries have their reservations on integrating it to their financials, though some countries have started adopting it even as a legal tender to their country.

Personally, BTC is something more of an opportunity; an opportunity that a person living in a third-world country that can alleviate my economic status with the right investment and knowledge on it. While it is not an absolute formula to success, the fact that it can definitely make someone live comfortably is enough for me to love it.

For beginners who are just getting into bitcoin, there must be a lot of fear when they see such a long bear market. because FOMO still really always affects beginners. but if they dare to collect from now on and hold it until the next bull market comes along. I'm sure they will love bitcoin even more. And those who don't buy now will regret it when bitcoin returns to its ATH. I'm still a beginner but someone taught me how to accumulate bitcoin in a simple but effective way, namely DCA. I hope other beginners will also use this strategy and learn it first. I love bitcoin more because I find freedom in it.

maybe one of the best ways that can be followed by all those who are still concerned with the current movement of bitcoin, I totally agree with you, my friend, the DCA method is a way that may be very effective because it allows all to follow gradually.
maybe there is a point in really needing to learn about DCA if you don't fully understand it so that it can be carried out and used properly and accurately.
but indeed bitcoin is a phenomenon that provides many benefits for those who continue to hold it because bitcoin can indeed make all glued and fascinated by what will be done which in time will provide very good profits.

Hopefully everyone knows that there is a need for a back up for the "brain wallet".. In other words, even though it  is fine to memorize your seed, you also better have it written down somewhere and/or some other means of getting at your wallet just in case something goes wrong with your brain.. including walking down the street and piece wood hitting your head.. and then you forgot everything... accidents happen.  and memories get messed up.

By the way, the brain wallet can really be good for crossing borders and/or other ways in which you might end up getting searched or questioned... but you still need to have an ability to access your seeds in other ways in the event something happens to your brain/memory between the time that you are transporting yourself from one place to another.. including time and distance..

In the bear market of 2018 I also felt fear because my income was only from trading crypto on the exchange. But I am now used to it and have prepared a few things to be able to survive in this kind of situation. Of course it is not easy we have to keep trying so that all can be passed.

The hope is that the market cycle is still the same as the year that has been running. Bitcoin will be up to the new ATH again. Although I am actually a little worried, but always do asset management to prevent bad things from happening.
Logically, with limited supply and increasing demand, prices will continue to rise. But I realize all predictions can be wrong, although many people are optimistic but it will make us feel a little more at ease. For people who have gone through several periods, they will indeed have a better mentality.

It’s decentralized, no need for any 3rd party to babysit your sale and take a piece of it. In developing nations, this technology is enabling more practical operations that will enable translucency and combat corruption in governments.

Then why is it so difficult for governments to accept Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as currency. I believe, most of the current use of Bitcoin is private parties, while government agencies are more controversial and even reject Bitcoin.
If Bitcoin is good, why don't they use it? Of course this is a question that arises in our minds.
We know that most state institutions around the world are not clean from corruption. So they reject the transparency system that can interfere with their actions, namely corruption. They don't reject Bitcoin, but they reject the transparency system that exists in Bitcoin. My assumption is so, although the assumption is too much.

Throughout history, there has been a conflict between solid currencies such as gold and silver and fiat currencies. Bitcoin has emerged on the stage of history as an additional alternative to solid currencies such as gold and silver. I'm already on the side of solid coins. That's why I love Bitcoin so much. We don't need to count the extra great things like peer-to-peer payment, decentralized structure, semi-anonymous structure, financial freedom and portability...

The third party just doesn't want to make any official recognition of the benefits of Bitcoin. They personally continue to set aside money to invest in Bitcoin because they know that Bitcoin can be a valuable asset in the future.

In line with your assumptions. None of their institutions are clean from corruption. Because the Bitcoin system is very transparent, those who still put their personal interests first will still reject the Bitcoin transparency system.
As supporters who will always support Bitcoin, we better forget about the third party because it can waste energy.

Moreover, if I forget to bring the money I have to go to the money withdrawal machine. With bitcoin everything will be easy to make payments, it's just that the level of adoption of bitcoin must be truly universal for all people to achieve that.

What I like about Bitcoin or crypto is the anonymity and how we could earn on our own time.
How easily we could use it to be honest I know some people who actually had crypto wallet first before having a bank account because of the same reason, they want anonymity.

Bitcoin like everything else in the world, cannot please everyone. The government saying bitcoin is not good does not mean not good, not good for them but it has a lot of benefits for us, maybe it's not good for you but for me it would be great. The transparent system is what makes bitcoin different from the fiat they created, decentralized, transparent is the core of bitcoin, so they can't accept it. If they accept bitcoin, they won't be able to hide the crime they are committing behind the backs of citizens who trust them.

Fear will always stick with us when there is a prolonged bear market or other bad news that affects prices that go down, I think it's natural because they are just starting out, so when there is anxiety in the mind of course it can't be controlled and it is often the wrong steps to take. taking action knowing nothing when faced with bad news from to unpredictable markets.

That experience will change your mindset for the better to get to know bitcoin more deeply, let alone have the courage to collect bitcoin slowly without any fear, of all that requires the guidance of others so that you can feel confident when facing any problem, and indeed regret it is always there when there is an opportunity that cannot be used, maybe all investors experience the same thing, but with that experience you will think a little more deeply. how to collect bitcoins.

The DCA strategy is simple and effective but it all has to think about our expenses as described earlier, in essence there must be an adjustment to needs and separate it from bitcoin.

Honestly, it's not easy to go for a long time with that strategy but whatever it is you have to do, if you don't do it then of course you won't know the experience you are going through.

If you store your keys on a paper or even in a steel and you don't back it up on other locations then you might still lost your btc whenever there are natural disasters. You can say that you have done some back up including online but you can't still access your btc's right away if there is no internet or electricity in the area caused by natural disasters.

The one that can be affected with this are not only those who use their btc as an asset but also those who use their btc as a currency. This is one of the disadvantages of having a virtual currency/asset such as bitcoin but this doesn't discourage people to have a btc because natural disasters doesn't occur at all times.

Yes, that is why many people like Bitcoin and they will continue to like Bitcoin, because you can use it to buy what ever you want in the market without holding it like fiat money before they can release the products to you in the market, because people know that Bitcoin is different from fiat money. Bitcoin is very easy to move from one place to another without the fear of robbers, because it will be difficult for the robbers to know if you have $50b or $100b in your wallet at the moment compared to fiat money you will use security personnel before you can be able to move $500b or $100b from one location to another within the country.

The extra great things about bitcoin likely causes it to be something in the neighborhood of about 1,000x better than gold - even though it could take 20-200 years for the market to price in such reality (and for the vast majority of the population to also realize such), so therefore, even if we cannot be sure how long it could take for the market prices to work out, currently we can see that bitcoin has a market price that is about 1/20th of gold's even though it is about 1,000x better.  How to respond to such disparity seems like a fairly obvious answer for those who can see (recognize) the situation for what it seems to be.

Bitcoin like everything else in the world, cannot please everyone. The government saying bitcoin is not good does not mean not good, not good for them but it has a lot of benefits for us, maybe it's not good for you but for me it would be great.

Bitcoin is good for almost everyone, even if they do not know about that, yet.  Bitcoin is also better when the proportion of holding it is figured out in balanced kind of way, instead of considering how much to hold in terms of "all or nothing."

And, of course, it is more good for some people versus others based on some use cases that they might have or that they might have some conditions in which they would particularly be advantaged more than others, relatively speaking.

The transparent system is what makes bitcoin different from the fiat they created, decentralized, transparent is the core of bitcoin, so they can't accept it. If they accept bitcoin, they won't be able to hide the crime they are committing behind the backs of citizens who trust them.

There's some truth in what you are saying, but I would not assume all publicly accountable institutions are evil.. so there would be degrees in which they manipulate information or engage in sloppy accountings.. or in the broader cases when money printing is going on in a way that taxes the public without getting consent..   Privacy is not completely a bad thing either.. so frequently there are needs for privacy, too... It seems that bitcoin changes some of the dynamics, but there still are going to be some needs to protect some of the privacy related to finances for some institutions that start to use bitcoin or holding it in their treasuries...

There is nothing to dislike about Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a very popular currency around the world Soon Bitcoin will launch its own transaction in every world With the way people are getting interested in Bitcoin, we can see the better position of Bitcoin in the last few years. And an investment currency good enough to invest in That's why everyone loves Bitcoin.
Well, to be honest, sometimes I get annoyed with how bitcoin price changes suddenly. Like you if you have plan to sell some of your bitcoin because you want to spend for a very important reason, and then it’s price suddenly fall, you will end up feeling disappointed. But now, I get used to it. Instead of hating it’s volatility, I learned to accept it and get used to it and just buy instead when there are opportunities to buy more.

I appreciate Bitcoin so much as it has unique technology and principles of operation that outweighs the traditional ways of investment and settlements, but in fairness, gold, silver and fiat have their advantages over the cryptocurrency too. As much as I would want to say I love Bitcoin more than the others, it might only be about the low transaction cost and the decentralization of BTC that would be the valid advantage of it over the earlier listed ones.

I believe that people that do not understand why they started investing in Bitcoin other than just for the profits would likely be those that can easily be deterred by all those negative occurrences in the Bitcoin space. The only supposedly downturn to Bitcoin most complain about is price volatility (Bear market), but those that understand the good to that aspect know not to worry but take advantage of it, and other than this, Bitcoin for me has been the better investment than any other in the past decade.

Bitcoin and Satoshi is freedom. I'm glad we're having more people loving and wanting to know more about Bitcoin, I have a friend who made it genuinely through Bitcoin and he has been one of my greatest motivations towards attaining my financial freedom through Bitcoin. Though there are numerous downsides to Bitcoin, I've decided never to give up because I'm certain and know that nothing good and sustainable comes easy and Bitcoin has come to stay and one thing I love so much about Bitcoin is the great opportunity for diversified wealth creation it has provided for many.

Why we also focus on the sweet and happy sides and moments of Bitcoin we should also have in mind the downsides and also remember to be smart as life isn't the way it seems, same as Bitcoin who rewards smartness over severe hardwork.

As an intangible currency, Bitcoin is an asset that will stay in the event of a natural disaster. This applies to people who already have Bitcoin as an asset. This is one of the advantages of Bitcoin and Bitcoin will be a virtual currency that has a very high price someday even though the current price is still $19.xxx.

If the storage has been carried out to the backup stage in another location but still has the potential to be lost when a natural disaster occurs, it means that there is no safe storage area anymore. This means that if a natural disaster occurs that can damage homes and other facilities that can cut internet access, then what chance of losing our BTC assets?

There is definitely such a risk, then you probably need to store the split seed phrase in several copies in several places. There is probably no point in learning a seed phrase by heart, because without constant repetition you will forget it very quickly. This issue has already been discussed several times on the forum, there are quite a few solutions. I like bitcoin because I myself am personally responsible for the safety of my coins, that I do not have to trust anyone with their safety, that for this I do not need the services of banks or vaults.

Your first point looks very obvious for the choice of BTC as on priority basis digital assets are far more secure and easy to utilize as compared to the hard cash. Digital Word sounds good and Cash aounds booring haha that my point anyway 😉 enjoy the Store of Value like really if you know what it is then you can say that.

I think to save the seed phrases in this way is more than enough "How best to secure your Private Keys and/or Seed phrases (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5211880.0)" however we ourselves are responsible for all the seed phrases that we store as well as possible nothing will happen it's a good step with the backup.
I myself keep it only in 2 places online and offline, it's more than enough and safe for me, so I don't think it's too much risk but we ourselves have to be able to keep it safe.

I think everyone has a different choice but Bitcoin is prioritized because of the advantages they know but it can't be separated from fiat, no matter what our needs are for those who can't pay Bitcoin in their country.

Glancing at Twitter @Bitcoin Magazine Bitcoin has become a good adoption in some countries and some have even ratified it as a legal payment, if only half the world adopted it en masse there is a possibility that we can use the true function of Bitcoin which is a means of payment anywhere, but that's all still a good step for the future.

agree, this is the importance of increasing a broader perspective for the good of yourself. Things that are too fanatical that continue to be excessive aren't good for the future, by making topics that lead to being proactive like this that can give birth to the words fomo and fudder. basically everyone has a personal reason for using bitcoin, let it run its course.

And for me, I like Bitcoin because it is a fast means to transfer money across borders, as with the use of Bitcoin people don't need to waste time anymore joining queues at the bank just to send money through "Western union or Moneygram" to a family member or friend studying overseas who needs urgent money for basic needs instantly, of which with the help of Bitcoin, all these can be done within 10 to 15mins.

For ease, yes it is very simple and like having your own bank can be carried anywhere, but don't forget the holders, especially new users, must pay attention to security, if in the bank we can lose value because of inflation and other things as happened in China some time ago where customers cannot withdraw their money but bitcoin can be lost because they do not pay attention to security when storing or using it, losing the PK or got hacked.

Corruption is the key word here because governments are all corrupt, not just one or two, all of them which means if bitcoin becomes more public information and used by everyone, becomes legal tender or something, then it's going to be very hard to be corrupt and spend everyone's money on a useless thing, and that will result with them being terrible in the long run.

I am not saying that it's going to be impossible, even with that there would be some people who will support corrupt people just because they are thinking the same way on some political ideas, but it will become harder to find voters if your corruption is out in the open.

in every currency we are going to hold, better to understand the consequences  and also the security , nowadays there are advance technology that hackers uses or scammers but with so much information now in internet and in groups such this? I think only laziness and stupidity that will lead us to hacking or scamming.
some because of greed but mostly because of their own mistake not studying how they can be safer.

I do not see the advantages of precious metals over bitcoin to be fair. Maybe that is just me and maybe there is one and I am not good at it, but at the end of the day I know that it is available and it is doable and I am just not accepting it, because why would I accept another asset as better than the one I am holding?

Then people could ask me, why do you think there is a better one but you prefer not to use it? That is why it's a lot better to have something like this in the long run instead, makes a lot better situations and give a lot better results to just trust the thing you invest into and that is what I am doing right now with 100% committing to bitcoin.

You don’t have to physically carry it around.

You do not also have to physically carry cash around to spend it too, the same way with bitcoin. I do not see anything special or of advantage there to bitcoinif you are going to use that as a point. Another thing is that we do not have to see bitcoin as banks. Both of them operate differently. Bitcoin operates 24hrs and none stop but banks have restrictions with when and how to operate, days off, and middlemen.

Of course, there will be some similarities between fiats and Bitcoin, but I must say that Bitcoin is more advantageous and makes you feel that you truly own the coin you possess. Fiat has cheated us a lot, and the large difference in usage of the most popular payment system between countries irritates me. But with Bitcoin, the owner has the absolute right and would be able to pay and enjoy being paid as long as the dealer allows the coin.

In other words, with BTC, you can do payments that the best countries in the world could do with the same rights, unlike fiats in which they discriminate.

That's the advantage of Bitcoin because we ourselves control it and the value can rise over time in the future, Fiat is still money which in my opinion is more destitute because there are many things that we can't control in terms of our party influencing it in value, sometimes payments the system has a bit of complexity, although it is not as easy as Bitcoin which is used easily and quickly.

Now that there are many popular countries that accept payments with Bitcoin, it is an convenience for us when traveling abroad to visit the country, for example, there is no need to exchange fiat into their currency, but with Bitcoin, we just need a QR which is simpler, I imagine if this is all the world to apply it maybe they will have no trouble.

There are several important reasons why Bitcoin is more important than fiat money.  These reasons are not applicable to everyone, especially due to some political instability in my country, the trust of people, especially the common people is decreasing day by day.  People are no longer dependent on banking conditions as before. The banking system is becoming such that day by day, if you keep money in the bank, the bank deducts more amount from the main account as various maintenance cost than the amount of return.  Moreover, the purchasing limit of common people is decreasing day by day due to political reasons in our country.  So they don't want to take big ricks by keeping money in the bank.  In particular, the probable cause of bankruptcy of government banks is emerging.  So we value bitcoin much more than fiat money in the context of our country.

Your reason is very simple, it is also not wrong to express it, although for me it is not a very specific reason. Because if you like something it's just about seeing how it works online, I think there are a lot of coins now where the way it works also has to have an internet network, that is, it has to be online. So, now try to find more specific reasons so that you can continue to like Bitcoin for all time, because if you only like Bitcoin online, I'm afraid that one day you won't like Bitcoin anymore when you can't go online.

There's nothing funny about those who don't like Bitcoin, because maybe they still don't understand what Bitcoin is, so they choose not to like it before they really know about Bitcoin by trying to find out for themselves what Bitcoin is. Or ask people who already know this before, so I don't think there's anything funny about them.

I haven't encountered people who don't like bitcoin, only those in governments that are banning it. Though it doesn't mean that they don't know it, it is just that they are having difficulty or can't access the transactions on it, which they mostly say were used for illegal transactions, and they also can't control it, which is why they banned and hated bitcoin. There are also people who invested in bitcoin but got scammed and told others that bitcoin was scammed, but later on they knew that it wasn't since it was just used by the scammers, and then they would get back into investing in bitcoin.
