really good poker site, still a few minor bugs from time to time but overall very nice.

Hope you're planning to promote it a bit more.
Also, you could add a few more small buy in tables, or auto-generate new when full (if possible)

Good site.

How does your rakeback system work?  Rake?

Also your site crashed on me while I was mid session... my internet was working meanwhile.

Sorry for the belated reply.  Typically the fastest way to reach us is via email (support@pokershibes.com), Twitter (@PokerShibes), Facebook (http://facebook.com/PokerShibesDOTcom?view=page), by asking for an admin in the PokerShibes lobby chat, or by posting in our subreddit (/r/pokershibes (https://www.reddit.com/r/pokershibes))

What minor bugs are you experiencing?  We are always working on improving the site -- we won't settle for having any bugs, even tiny ones.

We are building a table spawn script to make sure new tables pop up when tables get filled.  For now, admins monitor the action and manually clone full tables.

We are striving to bring more players to the site and to ensure our current players have an awesome experience.  In the 2 weeks since your post, average players online has doubled, and there's typically 24/7 action.

As we roll out our new and improved rewards system and our more generous referral rewards program, we hope to attract even more players and even more steady action.

We are happy your experience with us has been positive so far.  If there's ever anything we can do to make it even better, shoot us an email (support@pokershibes.com) or post in our subreddit (/r/pokershibes (https://www.reddit.com/r/pokershibes)).

Good site.

How does your rakeback system work?  Rake?

Also your site crashed on me while I was mid session... my internet was working meanwhile.

Our rakeback system is inspired by PokerStars, which we think is a good model to learn from.  A couple differences: We use a 30-day rolling period and our formula uses the "dealt" method (rake / # players dealt-in) rather than PokerStars' monthly period and weighted formula.

To learn more about our rewards program, click the Reward Points (http://pokershibes.com/account/rewards.php) tab on PokerShibes.com.

If the site ever freezes, open a new tab, go to the PokerShibes.com main page, and click "Play Now."  Our tables generally have a 30 second time bank and 60 additional seconds of disconnect protection.

We're sorry you were kicked during your session.  Last week a few of our players reported some intermittent lag and we had some server issues.  After improving our servers and increasing security measures, we've received reports of smoother play.  Please let me know if our recent efforts improve your experience.

If the site ever goes down during a hand, the system nulls the hand (as if it was never dealt).  Sitewide downtime is reported as quickly as possible on Twitter and our subreddit.

Thank you for your feedback.  Typically the fastest way to reach us is via email (support@pokershibes.com), Twitter, Facebook, lobby chat, or in our subreddit (/r/pokershibes (https://www.reddit.com/pokershibes)).  But I will make sure to monitor this forum more actively as well.

We're glad to hear from you and we hope you enjoy your experience on our site.

Sorry if you got temporarily kicked.  It may have been scheduled downtime.  But our admin always sends a warning to all players that there will be a few minutes of downtime.  And if downtime is ever more than a few minutes of schedule maintenance, we host an apology freeroll.

Speaking of freerolls, all freerolls are now at least 5x bigger -- 5,000 dogecoin freeroll poker tournaments every 2 hours and 20,000 zero entry fee dogecoin poker tournaments every night, only at https://PokerShibes.com.

P.S. -- to get up to date information, follow @PokerShibes on Twitter and subscribe to our subreddit, http://reddit.com/r/pokershibes

How many tables are active or how many players are connected in average?
Is it compatible with holdem manager/poker tracker?
VPIP / PFR of the field?  ;D

Our referral program is already live, and has been collecting referrals and tracking referral reward points since day 1.  We are running the final tests on our referral payout system, which is scheduled to launch within the next 72 hours.  If you want to know your current referral status before the launch of the live referral rewards system, feel free to e-mail admin@pokershibes.com

We do have a referral program.  To find your link, go to "My Account" (https://pokershibes.com/account/my_account.php).  It should look like this:

We usually have 50 to 150 players online.  Our biggest day is generally Sunday, where we have 100 to 200 players active during prime time.  Sunday is our biggest day because of our new Sunday Tournament Schedule.  See our post in our subreddit (http://www.reddit.com/r/pokershibes/comments/280dtm/pokershibes_sunday_tournament_schedule/) for more information, including our "Cash 'em All" Promotion where you can win up to 1 Million Dogecoins for Free.

We are developing a converter to make our hand history files compatible with Hold'em Manager and Poker Tracker.  We use Poker Mavens as our software, so any poker tools that work with Poker Mavens should work at PokerShibes (https://pokershibes.com).

We do not track the VPIP/PFR of the field.  It varies by gametype.  For example, I often see very loose players at the mid to high stakes Pot Limit Omaha games (200/400 to 2k/4k), but during tournaments like the Sunday Million (1 million dogecoin guaranteed), VPIP and PFR of the field are historically quite low.

Check it out: PokerShibes (https://pokershibes.com) has a new Sunday dogecoin poker tournament schedule (http://www.reddit.com/r/pokershibes/comments/280dtm/pokershibes_sunday_tournament_schedule/).

And we have ring games running from 1 dogecoin / 2 dogecoin all the way up to 5,000 dogecoin / 10,000 dogecoin!

Big ring games going on now (1k/2k No Limit Texas Hold'em) and awesome tournaments shooting off all the time (for example, there's a 250,000 dogecoin guaranteed tournament starting in a few minutes that should have a sizable overlay!)

Hello there,
You did not answer me via email
I have 3 tournament tickets Ð1,000.00, but why those tickets is not used when registering for tournaments, and used chips from my account?
Are tickets for a limited duration?
Thanks.

I don't think they're watching this thread anymore.

When you register for a tourny, they take the chips from your balance, and only when the balance is too low they would take your ticket.

The best way to go around it is to take all your chips to a Ring Game table, then register for a tourny. When your balance is zero (or below 1000) they would take your 1k ticket instead. And then just leave the ring game table.

You can check all your available tickets on the website: 'My Account" -> "Check on your tournament tickets"

Don't worry, I'm sure they wouldn't steal your 170k DOGEs.

But as posted above, this thread is not monitored, it's probably best to reach them on their official subreddit: /r/pokershibes

I played there a bit around week ago and had no issues with deposit or withdrawals.

Yup, there are freerolls and other tournaments and the activity is on the decent level so usually there's always someone to play the ring game with. 50-100 buy-in is the most popular table.

Hey, it's me again. I haven't received the withdraw and more than 3 days have passed. In the withdraw popup they say it wouldn't take more than 8 hours? If the admin is too busy for doing manual withdraws, please leave them happen automatically!! I need the coins now, if I receive them in less than 24 hours I will MAYBE play again in the site. You cannot have SUCH a bad customer service. WOW

Word on the street is admin yolo'd with everyones doge.

Looks like it:

https://www.reddit.com/r/pokershibes/comments/49b5a5/pokershibes_is_done_for/
Quote
basically, it comes down to this: pokershibes is INSOLVENT, i.e., the money from player's funds are gone, probably stolen by previous admin and the new, self-appointed admins try hard to think of a new Ponzi-scheme to keep not paying out the existing players and get more money deposited from new players! Be advised, DO NOT DEPOSIT, this room has ZERO funds to pay you back!

Then again:

https://www.reddit.com/r/pokershibes/comments/49b5a5/pokershibes_is_done_for/
Quote
We have paid out many players and are continuing to do so. Some players may have to wait a bit depending on the size of the withdraw, But that doesn't mean we are insolvent. Insolvency would mean no one was getting any of their withdraws in any time period.

Neither Suchflush nor I were 'self-appointed' we were almost always involved with PokerShibes, and when the old admin was no longer able to do his duty it fell onto us.

Please stop spreading these rumors. They are not true, and its very unshibe-like.

It's probably best to stay away, or at least deposit only small amount if you're desperate to try.

I haven't been on that site for ages, but looking at their subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/pokershibes/), it looks like the (new) owner is completely inactive and unresponsive, yet he keeps the site alive. Not sure about withdrawals, some people are reporting issues.

Anyhow, since there's zero activity, just go and look elsewhere. Shame, it was a fun place with great community back in the days.

Played for a month, there have been more players coming in the past week, not hard to get 1/2 and 3/6 doge game going, there are two full tables right now.  Also a few regs playing at high stakes as well.  It feels like a poker club, so if there are twenty some logins and empty tables you just have to get a game going.  Sit down, and announce in chat where you're sitting, and watch it fill up as time goes on.  Two amazing free rolls daily, the prize is 450, 270, 170, 100, first to fourth, and adjusts based on the amount of players.  The freeroll is more of a rake roll, so to play you have to play at the tables for a bit to get puppy status, than you are good to go.
Cash out took 30 hours, it is checked manually it says once you request it, can take up to 48 hours, minimum to withdraw is 5000 doge.
The advise I can give is to manage your bankroll so not to blow all your deposit on a single reg and never come back, best buy-in ranges I've seen in a long time, min to play at 1/2 table is 40 doge, and can buy in for thousands at higher tables.
Nice poker club feel to it, withdraw time is reasonable, action is actually very good, but it concentrates in certain time periods naturally, and all other times you just have to get a game going.
Game selection is good, had no problem trying out 3/6 Limit stud and PL Omaha, there is also a cool new game I've never seen, its called Cash Flips, its alot of fun lol, has 10 doge and 100 doge option.
The moderator is active through out the day, rake is reasonable, there are some rake rewards.
Going to go play the 1k puppy tournament (there are two per day), deposits are automatic, no min, hope review helped, enjoy!

Thanks for the update/review. I almost forgot that this site existed. Back in the days it had by far the best community of all the poker sites.
It always surprised me how they managed to get steady traffic with virtually zero marketing efforts.
