I can login, but when hit play I got "Connection failed" message (try 3-4 times in the last few hours).

Are tickets for a limited duration?

I don't think they're watching this thread anymore.

When you register for a tourny, they take the chips from your balance, and only when the balance is too low they would take your ticket.

The best way to go around it is to take all your chips to a Ring Game table, then register for a tourny. When your balance is zero (or below 1000) they would take your 1k ticket instead. And then just leave the ring game table.

You can check all your available tickets on the website: 'My Account" -> "Check on your tournament tickets"

Yup, there are freerolls and other tournaments and the activity is on the decent level so usually there's always someone to play the ring game with. 50-100 buy-in is the most popular table.

basically, it comes down to this: pokershibes is INSOLVENT, i.e., the money from player's funds are gone, probably stolen by previous admin and the new, self-appointed admins try hard to think of a new Ponzi-scheme to keep not paying out the existing players and get more money deposited from new players! Be advised, DO NOT DEPOSIT, this room has ZERO funds to pay you back!

We have paid out many players and are continuing to do so. Some players may have to wait a bit depending on the size of the withdraw, But that doesn't mean we are insolvent. Insolvency would mean no one was getting any of their withdraws in any time period.

Neither Suchflush nor I were 'self-appointed' we were almost always involved with PokerShibes, and when the old admin was no longer able to do his duty it fell onto us.

Please stop spreading these rumors. They are not true, and its very unshibe-like.

It's probably best to stay away, or at least deposit only small amount if you're desperate to try.

I haven't been on that site for ages, but looking at their subreddit, it looks like the (new) owner is completely inactive and unresponsive, yet he keeps the site alive. Not sure about withdrawals, some people are reporting issues.

Anyhow, since there's zero activity, just go and look elsewhere. Shame, it was a fun place with great community back in the days.
