It's really a shame, this is really one of those sad stories that really tell the dark side of sports betting and gambling in general, I could not help it, but had tears rolling down my cheek while reading this story..

Another future father, a future millionaire maybe, young 22 year old boy with a promising future lost to suicide after losing his school fees, and that of his friend to sport betting due to gambling addiction..

We are in the 21st century, until when before people realize that suicide does not put an end to problem, but rather create more for those living??

I hope we all as gamblers learn a thing or two from this, and go back and look at our gambling life and see if there is a thing or two that needs to be adjusted..

Some people do not think about the consequences of using high amount of money on gambling, but when they lose the huge amount of money, they will be depressed and some people will feel like killing themselves. He is young, but he supposed to have faced what comes after and change for good. If there is life there is hope.

Supposing he knows about this forum, maybe he would have learned some lessons from what we are posting.

it is the duty of parents, teachers, and also the community to continue to monitor the small changes that occur in children, moreover, their mentality is still not stable. usually, suicide is done by people who want attention and are confused about the best way for them to solve the problems they are facing right now.

when the child dies due to suicide, the mental pressure that the parents will receive is enormous, because it is not easy to raise a child from a young age with great affection.

for the parents out there, keep an eye on your children, keep an eye on their association from gambling and free sex under age, and don't just be busy working, because children are a responsibility that God has given us.

I think I have read this news online before; something about a unversity student drinking sniper (an insecticide) although I can't recall everything that happened.

The rate at which people are becoming addicted to gambling is now alarming, msot especially youngsters that are still finding it difficult to anything in life without them being emotional about it. Most of tehm prbably read somewhere online or saw it in the news about how someone was lucky enough to have won a huge amount of money just by betting his cents and then they decide to try their luck but instead of them to win or atleast enjoy their section at the casino they start chasing losses and when they run out of their personal money they might start using money meant for other things ( like in the case of Op).



I think this is a great idea, once in a while we need to sit back and look at how we have being handling our gambling life if the are things that we are currently doing that will affect our lives and sometimes we do somethings thinking it's what everyne does not knowing that it might cause an effect that's different entirely from what it did to others, after not everyone can handle things the same way. don't forget to always "play safe"

I know that this is very painful, but there is nothing we can do other than advise ourselves and those closest to us so that we can always avoid gambling addiction in any way and at least be able to educate them more about how dangerous the effects of addiction are. People whose thoughts are deadlocked with hope and feel that everything is finished, that is where our role is, if indeed there is someone closest to experiencing a problem like this, we must be able to become advisors. So in gambling, everyone returns to themselves, they must be able to emphasize the mentality that gambling is just a game, nothing more than that.

I'm really sorry to hear about such a sad story. Yes, the consequences of gambling addiction can be devastating, affecting not only the individual but also those around them. It's sad that some individuals who find themselves in such a desperate situation often struggle to reach out for support or confide in their loved ones. unfortunately there are some strict rules that must never be crossed. in ANY case.

- you should never entrust your money to anyone (obviously I am referring to those cases in which there is no legal contract/obligation).
- never bet money that you cannot lose.
- you should always play for fun and not to "get rich".
- one can be happy and live very well even "without money". anything can always be fixed, except death :(

This is why it is recommended to keep gambling away from childhood or youth because it can have quite a big negative impact.
He is a teenager who is addicted to gambling during his productive years as a teenager.
He has a high level of curiosity so he doesn't think long about using his school fees money as betting capital.

Such tragic. Sure it was scary to face angry parents at one point in our lives but eventually I get used ot it after series of bad choices I made in my entire life. One thing is for sure. I would rather see my parents get furious as hell than them crying over my corpse. Not a single time did I think of killing myself. Generation today are just too soft.

The kid though is in serious trouble. Spending the money of someone after losing all his school fee, addiction got him too deep. The quite type person somehow talks to himself all the time but the inner voice didn't help save his life.

This is one of the saddest stories I have ever read. How much was his school bills? A few ten K's? A hundred k? He could have made x10 more than that even without a college degree. All he had to do was to work hard. I have friends started with nothing in the US and become multi millionaires in less than 10 years. They all had good professions though some of them didn't have any college degrees. Since this student was 22 y.o., he could have learned another profession without the help of the college and still make big bucks... Shame.

Completely agree with your last statement which states that anything can be fixed except death, there are really a time when I get trapped in situations where it seems like we will never get out from, but if we can just be patient and wait a little longer, a way to come out of such situation will always be made available to us, but unfortunately, some people out of impatience dabble or end up with decisions they or those around them regret for live.

And on never entrusting your money to anyone, this is another good advice, though In the story, the friend to the suicide victim didn't entrust the money to him, it was the suicide victim who collected his friend's phone, then withdrew money meant for the school fees and used it to bet, which he also lost, the friend did not know that the suicide victim had withdrawn his school fees and used it for betting, until he was told.

In as much as we preach against gambling addiction, we should also endeavour to enlightenour children and the young ones that there is no reason whatsoever to take their lives. We should make them understand how important their life is.
His school fees and that of his friend is not worth his life. If he had had good conversation with some moralists, he would have come out of this shame.
By now, I believe his friend would not even be happy seeing him die. He would rather choose to drop out of school than to lose a friend because of a lost school fees. Children need close mentoring and counseling in order not to deviate from normal.

Thank you, OP for sharing. Bad news to the parents because they are going through great pain. Losing an undergraduate son in his harsh economic condition is extremely sad. All the investment in their son is a waste because of his gambling addiction. The student is 22 years old so we should write off underage gambling because the adult age in Nigeria is 18+. I would have suggested that all dependents especially students should be restricted from gambling but some students gamble responsibly so the best idea will be public enlightenment and awareness about the dangers of gambling addiction. People suffering from gambling disorder should be given free counsel and medical help because many people cannot afford to pay for these services. Let people know that there is a need to have a gambling plan that should guide their gambling life and let people suffering from gambling addiction receive help.

It's so heartbreaking to read news like this. Perhaps it's been too much heavy for him to take that's why he resorted to suicide. Condolences to the family.

We've talked about the numerous possible effects of gambling in one's life. This is included to those negative impacts people has to go through because they can't take the consequences of gambling anymore. We lose valuable life just because of lack of discipline. It might sound insensitive, but we have to keep reminding people to always think a hundred times before gambling. It might not be for you especially if you know it to yourself that you lack self-control. It might do more harm than good, hence, try to assess yourself first if you can handle the pressure and the temptation. If not, better find another recreational activity wherein you can release your stress and have fun, and try finding another source of income that has lesser risk if you want to gamble just for profit. Because frankly speaking, there's no guaranteed winning in gambling. Sometimes you lose, sometimes you win. It all depends whether you are lucky enough or skilled enough. So always bet what you can only afford to lose.

Mourning reading this news, I am sure this will be a lesson for all gamblers in this forum not to end my life just because of losing gambling, to be honest I also ever used to use school fees for betting but I never Thinking to end my life at that time, I looked for a replacement money by working part -time.

Everything returns to ourselves, but as we know that being a addict is difficult to recover if it does not come from himself, there are many ways to recover but I am sure it is difficult to cure addicts without the help of the addict himself to recover, but this news must be a concern to everyone in this forum so as not to end life to solve problems.  :(

if you read thru the article, he did gamble his friend's money and lost. certainly this is gambling addiction. sad to see fellow sports gambler can decide to end his life all because he lost money of someone.

i think he is afraid of his father knowing what he'd done. so he ended his life.

This shows that excessive or being a hardcore gambler cannot result to any positive to anyone. And lets think more upon using our money since if we allocate it for other important matters we should not use this since for sure we will encounter big stress that we can't even handle. Much better if we take all easy and gamble for fun since this will take us away on thoughts that to gamble more because we know our priorities.

Some people are more suicidal than others, they can easily consider and accept taking their own lives when they meet situations that they see no way out of. This individual would have been heavily indebted other this new debt that has accumulated from this loss, he was tempted by the high odds and idea that they games he was betting on were sure games. It is a sad story really and one of those cases where a gambler allows gambling to control them to the extent that they make bad decisions.

Young people can't handle their emotion that much, and that is not advisable for them to expose into gambling.
We have to protect our Childs and friends from getting trouble with gambling, if you know someone who are into gambling at a very young age better to educate them and force them to stop gambling. This is one of the saddest part of gambling aside from losing, addiction can still be cured but its better if you can prevent yourself from drowning into this kind of situation, guide someone you know who are into gambling addiction already, they needed you.

Aside from that there is already an earlier history that the late guy was gambling his tuition fee, its that, his parents replace the lost money on gambling and enable him to continue with his test.  It happen possibly in the first year of the deceased guy since he is in his 2nd year when he bet and lost his tuition fee and his friend's.  That maybe the case but he has done that already once and is able to do it again before he commits suicide, worst even stealing his friend's money and losing it in sports betting. This is clearly a sign of gambling addiction, I wonder why his parents are unable to detect it the first time their son gamble money for tuition fee.

I feel sorry for the parents who are striving hard to give their children a chance to study and prepare for their future but the kids never appreciate it and do things that will give their parents problems.

Such an unfortunate way to die. Thought this is not new to everyone of us, but the cases of suicide increases every year, not only in gambling related cases but in general. I have seen a lot of people committed suicide due to broken relationship, family problems, debts, bullying, and of course because of gambling and drug addiction. Well, he's just a 22 year old who step into a huge mistakes in gambling so his mind is still susceptible  to this kind of option to avoid facing the consequences of his failures. I think all of us may have thought experienced desperation but not all of us thought of killing ourselves because there are going to be always a solution to every problem. I guess that kid doesn't have any contingency plan when everything doesn't go the way he want it. This should serve as an eye opener for the parents who is not checking their children on what activities they are interested in. It will help prevent bad things to happen when a parent know what his child are doing after school.

I think the boy was schooling (college) in another town far from his parent abode so the task of monitoring him becomes very difficult, of course some of these kids can be a pretender when holidaying with their parents that is they won't exhibit any act of being a gambler until they get back to school, it very unfortunate that the kid committed suicide after losing a bet with his school and from a story I read from another source the boy did gambled with his first semester school fee and lost after his father was aware of misdemeanour he repaid the school fee again, though having got information about the gambling habit of his son he should have paid the child school fee directly to the school account.

He cannot take the guilt of betraying his friends and losing money for his school fees, there are people who are quiet and kept all the guilt to themselves, this is very risky behavior, people who commit suicide are people who kept things all to themselves, they do now want to talk to anyone about their issues until the guilt becomes unbearable and they decide to take their life into their hands.

The lesson here is that families and friends should check what kind of character one of their family or friend has, what they are doing, and see if they are depressed and always wants to be alone.

Yes, that's right, when we have money for other important things, then we should never touch that money for anything, especially for gambling. There are many stories about this, in my country, recently there was also the suicide of a high-ranking goods delivery service company, allegedly he decided to commit suicide because he lost a lot of money due to gambling addiction and also one that made him decide to commit suicide because he get into a lot of debt because of gambling.
And that's not the only story about someone's ruin because of gambling addiction, around my house there is also someone I know and even before he became someone who was successful in his business. But the same thing happened, where he was addicted to gambling, and resulted in his business going bankrupt. Now no one knows about his whereabouts, and what's worse is that he left a lot of debt. Now his parents must be responsible for what he did.

And yet people think the quite guys are the one who knows more of things and some kind of mysterious to girls. This one seem very misunderstood because the whole time, he is addicted to gambling.

Yep the addiction must have carried a depression along with it. But what triggers to kill himself is the friend calling his parents.

This is the worse kind of news that we don't want to hear or read when it comes to addiction, there's always hope and
salvation from gambling addiction, but the guy chooses the worse way to end his agony and addiction.

This is one of the reasons why we should be there for our friends if we notice strange things especially if our friend or family is a quiet type or introvert, they should be enlightened that there is always hope and offer their help so they can get out of that addiction.

Introverts seldom share their feelings and they are very quiet about it, so always check a hint or make him open up especially if the introvert is involved in gambling.

The article says "school fees" not his friend's money.

And if you go through the article you'll see that it was close to his exams and he wagered is school fee and lost the bet that could have resulted into a panic that made him to end his life. In a situation like this he could have just opened up to his parents and the worst that could have happened was him getting shouted at his parents won't have killed him or send him away because of money they would have grounded him and make him go through some punishment or perhaps enrolled him in a job during his holidays to work the money he lost to betting, that would have been a better solution than ending his own life.

after reading such a long story I can conclude that self-control not to expect too much from gambling and have a positive mindset that gambling is only a place for fun. that's very important.
In this case, we can take lessons to avoid gambling from people around us who are young or underage who don't have good emotional control which causes addiction like that story. even though he was a quiet person, this quiet person has a high emotional level.

but with this sad story it can be a lesson for all of us to avoid pushing too hard on bets without using money that we can afford to lose.

It's a sad story. He was probably scared of what wil happen to him as a consequences of his action. Aside from losing money from betting, he also took and used his friend's money. He's still young and he can still change to have a better life but decided to take his own life. It's sad... Condolence to the family.

Gambling addiction can really make people to do things you wouldn't expect. The greediness to get back what you've lost won't do good and will only make you suffer, the more you will try to chase your losses. I hope we can learn something from this story.

I agree, we have to advise ourselves and also those closest to us, if we are addicted then it is really difficult to cure. Lucky me to be here, maybe even we are lucky to be here. Because in this forum we learn many things about gambling, and understand many things about life in gambling, not a few of us become responsible gamblers from here. Yes Sir gambling is just a game also gambling is not to get rich, very sad to read it and hopefully the family left behind can get through their sadness.

Hearing about someone committing suicide after losing their school fees to gambling makes me feel really bad ??? It's truly heartbreaking. If that person had received the necessary support and encouragement from people who could help him overcome his addiction or provide moral support, they might not have resorted to such a tragic decision and he would have been safe by now. Even if your addiction overwhelms you and you lose all your money, there's no need to end your life. Instead, try to slowly address and resolve the problem. I believe that no problem in life should drive you to take your own life. Every problem has a solution  and it's important to maintain a positive mindset rather than succumbing to negativity.

From reading the story, I realise more the need to not trust anyone with your personal details like your bank pin especially when you as a friend or family member of that person has already noticed the character of addictive gambling. I have a friend who gambles so much, whenever he is in need and decides to ask for a Loan claiming to be in bad position, I do not like to give him because I know that he is an addict to gambling and can do almost anything just to get money to gamble with. If you have a friend who gambles, be careful of any financial transactions or interactions you make and have.

I believe that this guy got addicted to gambling because if you are good enough, you will not use your school fees or any needs money on gambling.
I'm really sad for this boy. I think before this tragedy happened, he could've consulted some people like friends or much better professional because for sure they can help this boy to avoid it.

We often read and see difficult suicide cases, maybe some of the members here have seen their friends lose at gambling bets ending their lives by drinking poison, hanging himself or other means, that's why here we are always reminded of the dangers of gambling using other people's money, loans, stealing and so on.

In the case that happened to Samuel Adegoke, it was pure greed and carelessness of his own, without his friend's knowledge he had dared to take his friend's money to bet on gambling, that's a bad thing that Samuel Adegoke shouldn't have done, he betrayed his own good friend, anyone would be angry because the money saved for school fees was taken by a bedmate, this is really bad, because of gambling addiction, so that Samuel became dark eyes.

Sad to hear this. This kid very likely felt ashamed and trapped, like there was no way out. I can only imagine how he felt thinking about facing his family and the friend he borrowed the money from. Probably was thinking the worst case scenarios that lead him to do something like this. Everyone should be gambling very responsibly. Not everyone is financially stable and is able to recover from gambling loss. For some, the pressure and fear of disappointing the closed ones can feel unbearable. But still, you should remember that they are your loved ones and they will always eventually forgive you. Talking is the key here.

Don't you think this might be the reason our parents and life partner get angry on us when they find out about our gambling habit.
Gambling has taken many lives and just think if you had a child who lost his life just because he lost his school fees in gambling, what would you do ?
Everyone will blame the parent because its them who had to keep an eye on their child and his habits.

In this case, I won't blame the parents because the victim is already at the legal age. He is also an heir to his parent's status which probably makes this victim grow like this that is too careless about money. You can't watch your children 24/7, especially when they are of legal age because they are already liberated for their own life.

The only problem here is maybe the parents don't teach their child to become open to them for their problems that's why this child decided to bury the problem with him. This story is very frustrating knowing that we will be parents or parents already. We should teach our children to become open with us so that this kind of incident will be avoided.

It is heart breaking to learn that due to gambling addiction, a young person had forfeited his life.  It is a small amount of money compared to the possible future  the guy could have if he had realized that his parents can be able to replace the lost money.  What happens, happen, though many might blame the gambling industry for what happened but I believe it wasn't the gambling platforms fault.  It is the weakness of the person that drives him to kill himself.  


It is obvious that our parents are worried about us getting addicted and  ruining our lives due to the uncontrollable urge to gamble.  They are worried that we might not be able to control ourselves and fall to the abyss of gambling addiction, so they try their best to remind us even getting angry just to emphasize that they are serious about what they are advising us.

Well it puts an end to his problem, and not to sound cold or anything, but the dead don't particularly give a damn about the living. Dumb decision-making results in dumb results sadly enough. While I do pity the family, I don't think I have any for the kid himself. The result was caused by his own greed, not even hesitating in trying to include his friend in the case. He couldn't, or rather didn't dare face the consequences of his own actions.

While I think 22 is still young, it's at that age when you start thinking for yourself, and responsibilities and whatnot should slowly be placed on your shoulders, or at least, the significance of it. And considering all things, with how his parents seem to be quite kind, I doubt a scolding from them would be the end of the world, but hey, as I said, he's 22, pretty young.

When I read something like this, my heart breaks. It is never easy to lose a wager, but I don't believe that choosing suicide is the best course of action. The youngster may feel that his father will be disappointed in him for having to make a decision like this to gamble with his school expenses. When things go wrong in life, I hope that this will deter others from taking their own lives. I also hope that it will deter them from being too afraid of what other people will think because this has a ripple effect on society. Man up to whatever happens is still the best decision.

Every gambling site has certain terms and conditions stating that school and college students cannot gamble or anyone under 18+ years of age cannot gamble. But after reading the entire incident, I realized that gambling has some negative aspects which are reflected in this incident. We can console the death of this little year with nothing but one thingToday's 22-year-old is an asset of tomorrow. But how can a wealth drop prematurely only as a result of the negative effects of gambling? But in this day and age it is not at all reasonable to commit suicide by a fresh life just for school fees. I couldn't control the amount of ego a 22-year-old has, so I had to drop out at a young age.

Please don't talk like that. Depression is not a joke. You can't just tell these people that "hey don't go suicide". That's not how it works.

These people who are under depression are already in the verge of not considering things being advised by others that might saved them. That's why there's a proper way to deal with these depressed people as every word is critical and sensitive. In worst case, those advise might even triggered them to do worst things more as they don't have now the ability to understand what's right or wrong.

I know it's up to us to stand strong but not all has the capability to do that while under pressure.

Back to the story, we don't know the whole story why it triggered the suicide. I'm sure it's not just because of losing school fees.

That is the result of gambling addiction, addiction can destroy a person's life quickly. When someone plays gambling, they can easily lose the money they have, especially in large amounts or lose very important money.
and that can cause them to become stressed and frustrated, which can lead to financial problems, family problems, and mental health issues. And what's worse, to suicide because of depression and there are also those who commit crimes and end up in prison.
and I think, with these cases, maybe the gambler keeps his addiction a secret and if his family or friends find out about it. They will definitely help and take precautions and will also always be monitored so that it doesn't become fatal, and it would be very sad if a suicide occurred.

What a pity for the pain that boy will put on his parent. This is what gambling addiction can lead to,when you can't control yourself about your loss and be strong with containing it. It is better that we live to face our regrets or error,so that we can be strong instead of to think that suicide is the  only solution. That's pretty unfortunate and obviously a sad story. We can't really blame anyone for what has happened to the young man, even for a moment we may think that his parents should have done something since he had done the same thing in the past but I assume they didn't know that he is gambling the money since his friend said that he pleaded not to tell his father about it.

However, this is the reason why no one should gamble with the money they can't afford to lose, and gambling with someone else's money is a completely different story and should never be done at all, the consequences of that can be too harmful as we have seen in this case.

People are just realizing that suicide doesn't solve problems if they really want to solve problems, whatever the cost. But sadly, not many people are able to think clearly when they have a problem, including a gambling problem because it is like the end of their life.

This is a sad story that we read and wish we didn't experience it. We really have to be able to take care of ourselves so we don't get addicted to gambling like other people experience. We still have a bright future, as long as we are willing to change and have the determination to change it. I believe we will definitely get help from the people around us especially if we can be honest with them.

What a waste that of a young age he did the unthinkable in which the problem is solvable yet he cause so much pain to those he left. That's why it's really important to teach children how to talk and boost their self esteem, this is a critical values we need to still on our child at a young age to avoid these kind of problems.

Yes and it will never be. It is kinda sad that thing thing happen to him and I really do hope that it will never happen again hopefully to other people. The kid begged to his friend to call his mother again inorder to ask to keep it to themselves not to involve their pop. It seem to be okay but something is really stirring his mind and drink the poison. It could be the punishment the father may impose on him too much pressure to this 22 yr old guy.

It's quite sad to hear that, this is too far from what was imagined. I think it's too early for them to get to know gambling at a young age. This is an example of the importance of supervising both parents in everything that is done by their children. Environmental factors are one of the things that greatly influence a child's personality. They are still not old enough to know about gambling, and it will be fatal if no one saves them. For example, in this case, those who are underage have not been able to control themselves and have a great fear of both parents finding out about the mistakes they have made. Therefore, most minors always choose shortcuts to solve them without knowing the risks they will receive.

This is the reason why gamblers who can’t even control theirselves should never be gambling at all. Instead of being aware and understanding that gambling naturally comes with losses, they blame theirselves for their losses and when things aren’t bearable already, people will resort into suicidal which is a very wrong mindset. You’re right, if this student might have been exposed on this forum, he might be living and overcoming losses up to these days.

And yeah, I understand the point you coming from though, I've once been depressed due to relationship problems, to the extent I felt like taking my life, but God be praise I had friends around me, who kept distracting my mind with their discussions and at the end, I forgot about suicide.

I don't know what to say based on this story.  I tried to read the link you shared, it seems that the child is depressed and desperate for what he has done, he has no solution to replace the money he has used for his gambling. which in the end, a narrow decision crossed his mind to take an act that could not be justified. not only did he hurt himself to death, but the impact was bigger on the people he left behind. especially the parents who have been educating him, sending him to school so that he can achieve a better life goal. but unfortunately, his addiction ruined everything and not only that. in fact, he has made his parents destroyed in deep sorrow.

from the case that OP wrote regarding gambling using his school money and ending in suicide there was no encouragement from anyone except mental pressure triggered by guilt because maybe he had used his friend's money to gamble and lost.
on the one hand, pressure from other problems because he was afraid that his father would be angry when he found out that this had happened, so there were many factors that caused the man to swallow insecticides, but only encouragement from stress, depression or mental pressure.

I think we are already at the limits of what it can be achieved when trying to protect those which may be vulnerable to compulsive behaviors, the only other option left would be to ban gambling completely, and this is not an option as this not only will not protect those people as they could still gamble at illegal casinos, but this will also affect those which live out of the gambling industry all over the world, so while this is a sad story there is not much we can do to prevent things like this to keep happening.

Committing suicide because you have lost money?!? This is absurd. Losing money is not the end of the world. Debts can be repaid, money can be earned. Life cannot be returned after someone have lost it. Life is more important than the money.
I remember another horror story about a guy, who lost all his savings in a ponzi scheme and he committed suicide(he served in the military).

You also don't know to what extent it was the fault of the player himself. When I read articles like this or the summary of yours, I immediately think that there could well have been much more to that suicide than "only" those losses on sports gambling. If this true or partially true, the next step by the media would be to find one catchy reason that they focus on and then spread the story as far as they can. I am not generally doubting that this happened. It probably did. But when one of us would gamble away the tuition fee of ourselves and that of a friend, I am not sure how many would really pull the trigger and kill themselves immediately.

It is possible that sports gambling was one problem of a chain of negative events that this young guy had gone through. I don't know what your thoughts on this are but you can think for yourself whether you would kill yourself when life is actually alright but you fuck up and lose money for yourself and a friend in the amount of a tuition fee.

It is a very sad story. Sometimes when I see similar stories like this about someone who committed suicide because he or she lost money or something silly related to this, I am always shocked. But I can't just think and imagine killing myself because I lose things, especially money. No matter how much money may be, I can't kill myself because of money because that will not be the solution.

Getting addicted to gambling is not a good but a bad thing  thing because  addicted to gamble that can cause a lot of terrible things in someone's life. Let's just imagine this guy that committed suicide at this  young age because he lost his school fees money to gambling. How much will that school fees amount be that he decided to toke alway his life?When someone is addicted to gambling, there is no money he/she can't use to gamble, if not why will someone use it school money to gamble.

How do you know, that the root cause of this case is greed. this boy is an educated person, he is educated to gain knowledge for his future provision. in this case, we cannot judge someone without knowing the background to the cause of this suicide case. in fact, what we read from the link the OP shared is a fraction of the story or stories that are in the news. in essence, we know nothing of what actually happened to that student apart from his gambling, his tuition fees, and the reason he gambled that ultimately ended his own life. in essence, we both agree and do not justify whatever reason the boy did. the problem of greed, is another matter. I'm sure, there is something that triggers behind this boy's case. but one thing for sure, he had taken his own life away.

In essence, the essence that I got from this story is that we should not get stuck in the problems we face, especially in this discussion is gambling. it would be fatal to do the same thing this brat did. that's why, make gambling just part of the fun without expecting a definite reward. don't gamble, if the money is not money that shouldn't be at stake, whatever problems we face when we need money, whatever the needs that squish us. for sure, gambling is not the solution.

I've done something like this when I was still in college and I was a fool that I fooled my hardworking parents but it's not with gambling but with something else that I've done like other activities with my friends and spent it just for those nonsense things. It's sad to see that a life has to end like this even if we don't like it happening. I think the student's thinking is that if he wins then he's got more money, he'll be able to pay his tuition and at the same time he's got spare from that winning. I also think that there's an influence that has happened to him, we may not know it directly but I usually see something like this in social media where these posts are encouraging people to bet so that they'll have more money and they'll have their problems solved. And while the kid is still a student and a young mind, he probably fell for that. Peer and social pressure really is one of the problem.

I saw this thread last night and It almost brought me to tears, because I kind of relate to what depression feels like.
Do you know what the worst part of this news is? It is the fact this happens more often than anyone of us is actually aware. People with future, dreams, hopes and feelings end up taking their own life because they have left themselves to fall into a spiral of desperation and hopelessness.

I do not know if he had some faith or not, but I sincerely hope he is in a pleasant place now or at least in a place without pain and suffering, sleeping until he can be back to face our creator.

Even though I know things like this happen in gambling it still makes me sad to know about this. I'm also a gambler and I can feel the hopelessness he got. That's why I don't deposit my own pocket money, especially not mine. I can say, I still can control myself. If that was me, although I can handle my emotion and not resort to that. Still, that is not easy to handle especially if you and your family live in poverty and don't have the ability to gather that kind of amount in the shortest possible time.

If you will probably never deposit pocket money and of course still control yourself but in this case he is a teenager who is still in school and most teenagers who enter the gambling industry more easily act emotional and crazy out of curiosity and a high desire to win big. taken over by the brain.

What makes me even sadder is amount. Just checked how much money he needed. Its amount is like much cheaper than playstation 5. Think about it guys. Especially ones living in developed countries I mean. (I am not from developed country but amount seems still very low to me). I feel like poorness causes many issues as well. If you are regularly using internet you wanna live better lives. So betting/gambling your money away can look good idea to you etc.

Sad story and I didn't read the news you included so I don't really understand the details of the story, but as far as I know, the people who finally decide to commit suicide are people who already have the intention to do it and the victim just waits until there is a reason finally did what he had previously thought, so if he commits suicide because of gambling he would very likely also commit suicide because of other issues that really made him stress and became depressed. Gambling can indeed have a bad impact on the perpetrators, but every bad thing that is done by people for gambling reasons is not entirely true because they will also probably do bad things for other reasons, so the problem is in the person's mentality and anything can be a trigger, including gambling. If any of your colleagues have ever said that they want to commit suicide, it is better to immediately take them to an expert for treatment because that is dangerous enough.

I dont think that loosing school fees was the real reason to commit a suicide. It was last drop before he made that decision. I believe that people dont commit suicide so instantly, it is a decision they  came to with time. It said that he has bough insecticide. I think he has planned that suicide. As you can just all of a sudden decide so quickly how to kill yourself, as he had to be sure that it will work, but not just cause damage and paid.

That's really a sad story, but I can't understand why someone would end his life over gambling. The shame and financial insecurity that comes with losing large amounts of money is devastating, but suicide is not fixing any problems. It's the easy way out for the person itself, and everybody else is stuck with the problems. Like you said, suicide is only creating more problems not fixing them. All the debt you accumulated and the money you lost for your friends and family is not coming back overnight, it's not solving any problems for the living. That's a ridiculous and childish kind of behavior, how could he reason to that extent of using his school fees to bet including his friend's own, well on this planet earth there's nothing new anymore, such person needed to be well dealt with, punished and restricted of some rights of opportunities for freedom, if care is not taken, such child can use his parents money to gamble by stealing them from the house or from any other source outside their home, such person should be handled with strict discipline to curb him from further attempts.

This is why I don't go far on what I can afford, I don't want to be in that position as that kid where you feel like you are cornered and no one can help you out but just to end it yourself by suicide. It's not the right way to solve problems, be responsible for the damage, or seek help, and there are parents who won't turn their back on you. Yes, they might get mad for a day or two because of your mistake but they will help eventually.
What we can do is learn a good lesson from this especially if we have kids. Make them feel loved so that even at their worst they can always go back and ask for help.
Gambling is such a mess. I was once stressed with a losing streak that made me stay up until 4 AM just so I could chase my losses back until I was left with nothing. I just slept on it but my thought process is still to get my revenge some other time. It was another mistake to happen but thankfully I restrained myself from doing it.

Well, we can only save someone if we see them having some trouble or if we feel it when they are around but when they are not around us and they face problems and don't discuss it with us, we can't really do much for them, and we all know that what has to happen will happen for sure and no one can really stop that no matter how hard one tries if it's what destiny has to show us, we will surely see it.

I only pray for the suicide perpetrator and also the family he left behind, hopefully they (both parents) can let go of their child. When someone can't think of how he can solve a problem and suicide is the best way out, he will make a plan to kill himself. So I also think so because a person doesn't immediately decide to commit suicide, no matter what. But he will decide to commit suicide when there is no other way out. They think that suicide will solve their problems, but it will create problems for others. They are desperate and don't want to consider what it means for those around them.

They took their gambling habit to another level and this happened that was a bad story I wonder how it ended up like that because he already knows the money is not supposed to be for gambling and he should not make such kind of decision. Also, if you have depression ... rather go and seek help... do not dive deeper into a dark pit of despair by trying gambling to cheer you up. Losing a lot of money is not going to get you out of that situation.   

But somehow, it was the same reason why he decided to end his life because he was really overwhelmed about the existing problems plus, he gambled his school fees which he lost too, eventually. We may not know the real reason why he come up with that idea and carefully planned how to execute it, but we know for sure that he cannot handle the problems anymore and he was already on the edge with nothing hope left.

I feel like the reason for this is these people have nobody to talk to. It's very rare for people who have friends and/or a supportive family to commit suicide.
Suicide is a result of being alone with your problems and feeling like there's no way out. It's important to have someone who will talk to you and explain to you that this is not the end of your life. Money can always be earned back. If you do the math you'll realize that even a large sum of money is just 2 or 3 years of saving up - you can do it. People get 10 year prison sentences and they don't give up, do their time and later have families, their own kids, jobs, businesses. Many people lost their whole houses in fires and rebuilt everything.

You cant really blame all into the parents because we arent there into those things that they've been dealing. No matter how you do closely monitor your child but if he/she is a type where it doesnt really open up
problems or not really have that kind of communication in between parents and child then you would definitely skip out on knowing on what are the things that he's into. Therefore you cant really put all the blame into the parents.Yes, there might be some part of their mistake but not totally. that's for sure, parents who are only busy with their own work matters only give birth to children who don't have a place to tell stories and complain. so it's no wonder that children who grow up in families like that have suicidal tendencies

One thing is certain if indeed the student take his own life by drinking an insecticide. this person wanted to bail out of the problem he created due to him being a gambling addict.  Aside from that, the person is so coward that he don't want to face the consequence of his action.  Suicide if it really happen is always a planned thing, the person who wanted to commit it either think of it long ago and decided that is the only way to get out of the mess.

On the time that you do find out that you arent prepared about the risks involved on gambling then you should have avoided it in the first place. It is really just that having that winning scenario on which most people been thinking on the time that they do have considerations on dealing with gambling.On the time that reality would be faced up then this is where lots of losses instead.On the time that you do took up some loan or using up others money on believing that you could able to win and cope up and repay those amounts in time because you do have in mind that you could really be able to make money or wins but definitely we would be

Suicide is never an option guys, the saying when there's life, there's hope isn't a scam, I've watched that verse manifest in my life and the lifes of so many persons connected to me.

No amount of pressure should make you give suicide a thought, none at all.

Depression caused by gambling addiction and not having someone to turn to can cause suicide and this is what actually happens to the guy in the story he has a weak personality and he is secretive and an introvert.
Gambling addiction, depression, and having a weak character will contribute to suicide if only he can open up and there's someone he could talk to, this could have been prevented, so if you know someone who has a gambling addiction, do check his character if he can move on from big losses.

Do not misunderstand me, I indeed think there is a reason to be sad, because in the end his life ended prematurely and he has left people behind who are suffering a horrible sorrow because of this.

Do you know how he struggled before he could get the school fees, maybe he was just trying to double the school fees or maybe he was just trying to make some little amount which he will use for other things he need from the school fees. Depression is one of the effect of gambling loses and we need to be strong enough to accept our loses because the later can be very disheartened. I've heard this a lot but I don't understand how gambling can be a cure for depression, I know that there are games that you can play which are multiplayer where you can make friends, chat with others while playing and do a lot of other things to cheer yourself up and this kind of games can help you get out of depression or a similar situation, but I don't see how spending money on gambling can be a solution at all.

And it's true that a lot of people try to use gambling as a way to pay their debts and what mostly happens when they fail is they keep taking loans from other places only to pay the previous loans when they are about to default and that gets them stuck in this even more.

He was a very young to go into depression! The decision of self-destruction, no matter what you say may be the reason will destroy everything near & dear. A young human, who had so much to see and explore would never take such a decision. It was his surrounding that might have been the reason for him to gamble. It is his surrounding that emotionally made him realize that his life is worthless. Children in 2023 are unable to bear any kind of pressure. They are so much the opposite that we were in early of 2000. We wanted to enjoy, we wanted everything in this world. We never took the easy way! We worked hard and whatever we earned we used it for enjoyment while studying.

Actually that's why majority of people who commit suicide are young people because if they're mature, they wouldn't commit suicide due to good mental and know life is more important than money. Gen Z (born 1997-2012) and Alpha generation (born 2013-2025) are pampered people, they always exaggerating anything happen in their life and they tend to self diagnose if they're depressed, this because their generation are pampered.

If the boy didn't become addicted to gambling, he could still enjoy his school days and grow up. But everything has happened and can not come back again. At least this is a lesson for all students and parents to pay more attention to the development of their children.

Some people are weak vessels by nature and it is not everyone that is introverted, the guy in question was frustrated with another aspect of life to have his life taken the hard way, I don't think gambling was the only reason why he took his own life. The gambler in question is a student that attends one of the polytechnic schools in Nigeria, that is a public school whose seasonal school fee will not exceed $150 at the state and federal level, so if he must gamble his money and that of his friend, that shouldn't exceed $300 at most; Now tell me, which sensible adult will take his life for that amount except maybe there is additional information the media is not giving the public, gambling addiction, and suicidal thought often result from excess losses but this story is not clear.

It saddens me when I realize the level of damage our so-called renaissance has caused us... Alot of this has been happening behind closed doors, without being taken to over the air - it has lead mayn youths into getting depressed in Thier early ages in life, which isn't right at all.

Whats up into their minds on taking up some loan or borrowing money as if they are already making some income or having those sources for them to pay back? If they had been entrusted up by some fund and they are really that engage to gambling then for sure it would be high likely that it would be used up on there. Gambling addiction doesnt really mind whether you are young or old because once addiction hits then for sure you would really be having that huge problem on how you would really be handing up yourself on such situation or condition.

I’m not sure I agree with those of you blaming the parents. I am pretty sure that their child committing suicide wasn’t their goal. People do things by themselves sometimes and I feel like if help was needed it would have been provided. Having been young once myself though, I can understand how a run of bad luck could seem like the end of the world when you lack life experience.

Too spoiled I think. Some kids today are just unstoppable and they spend money on vices with the money they didn't earn. When you do have financial problems then the only ones who could help you out would really be only your parents on which they are the ones who could help you out in times of need.Of course you would really be scolded out on what you have done but its normal that they would really be helping you out as much as they could because you are their son which it would be normal that problem should be solved and

If you don't have fund as spare, then you definitely can't afford to lose it. So it's really wrong in so many ways to gamble using other people's money and even using your own money but already allocated to other things. I am not sure what the boy intentions were but I believe this was not his first time, an amateur bettor wouldn't take his school plus that of his friend to go gamble if he is not experience, for him to make that bold step and use his school fees means he has been betting before but what went wrong is what they need to investigate, either the friends or someone closed to him must know what he is dealing with if suicide have been on his mind, he cannot wake up one day and decide to take his life for something he knows that the parent can make up for him, the parent can't kill him for such mistake.

There will always be people born on this earth and vice versa people who die every day, but the case that befell this child is a lesson for all parents. As the age of the child will see new things (gambling) which unwittingly have brought them further from full control over their decisions. Parents are responsible for whatever their children do and if they are not well controlled child will suffer the same fate as this incident.

Stories like this don't just happen once and even every year there are definitely people who end quite tragically when gambling addiction is no longer able to be controlled by common sense and logic, it's just that sometimes it's not exposed to the media other cases and for me this is not surprising that before know the impact of irresponsible gambling.

Learn to be responsible for gambling that we do and do not get used to gambling only every day. For anyone who has a child this is an important lesson to always limit their interactions and control on a more routine scale of how their lives outside, so that prevention can be done when this situation has not been running too far for the child.

The problem with gambling addiction is that gamblers keep denying that they are not addicted, but just regular gamblers who only want to play and win. And they become in denial with their own uncontrolled emotions, where in fact they really want to burst out and stop gambling immediately but they can’t do it since they still have to regain what they have considered losses. However, if only parents give a lot of time for their children, I think they will always notice that there’s something wrong with them. Parents really play a vital role in the child's mental health condition. That's true that I am seeing it and these people that posts it on pages think that no kid is seeing it.

What if someone follows it without them knowing it and the person or the kid that saw that meme to bet all that they have really did it and then the bet lost? I don't know what's with these and I know it's just for entertainment but they should be responsible for every audience that will see these posts.

And that's why an example is on the OP and it's terrifying to see someone ends life like that because of gambling.

I don't know the boy's parents, and don't blame them, but console them about such a sad experience. Yet, in a society that gets wild everyday, parents should always make out time to discuss and interact with their child. They can easily discover when their child is depressed and passing through tough times. The deceased may have started gambling before he got admitted into the university, and his parents wasn't aware, because they never watched him closely. Or if they found out about his gambling addiction they should have counseled him and get a therapy that can help him fight the habit. Parents have lots of role to play in a child's life, such that if any get omitted it can be a torn in the flesh. The high rate of divorce today is blamed on the parents who fought or argued in the presence of their children.

Denial is really that common problem by most gamblers on which they would really be denying that they are addicted until they would really be coming into a point that they had spent up so much money in gambling.
Realizations wont really be coming at first on which it would really be just that normal that you would really be having experience it on the end which means that dont let things to go worst and its better to
make yourself be wary on your actions along the way or else you would definitely be having that huge problem afterwards.

Anyway, we all some time have been or will be guilty of posting such memes in the past or future, it is harmless to us, and we have no intention of leading any other person to harm through such posts, it is just unfortunate that some things we do with a clear mind tends to have negative impact on other people out there.

They need to open up to those around them so they can get help so they can cure their gambling addiction. This looks hard because those addicted to gambling have to admit that they are a gambling addict and want to cure their gambling addiction. And if his family members can accept it, they will immediately help and find a solution and maybe they can go to the nearest rehabilitation center so that person can get help.

And should be in every city to have a rehabilitation center so that these people can go to them, consult, and know what they have to do. This also requires attention from the government to help create a rehabilitation center to help people addicted to gambling.

He would be terrified if he lost borrowed money or someone else's money because he had to give it back to that person. And if he doesn't have the money to pay it back, he will surely get frustrated and stressed, which could trigger him to kill himself because he feels suicide is the best way to solve everything. Parents must watch over their children so they don't get along wrong.

It's also a shame to see some parents not to know what their children are doing in secret, i count it as being insensitive enough to know that your child is gamble being a student whereby gambling requires money to do it, also i will blame the parents the second time for the kind of upbringings the child was exposed to that has led to his thinking about comitting suicide, how did they arrived at training their child having that kind of mentality, he would have been so used to making friends or too used to an open environment full of different atrocities.

The biggest shame is for the casinos explicitly targeting youngsters though. They know they are unaware of the real value of money, they know they are hardly able to manage it appropriately, they know they are more likely to develop a gambling addiction, they know they are less likely to sue them or to make any other things against them if they are scammed. But they don't care, they have already made billions of USD from them and they continue to target them through social medias and streaming platforms like Twitch or Kick. But behind those losses there are tragedies.

People barely care about the implications of what they do and they do it regardless of the harm it might make to others. Whether it's about gambling or anything else, the general public always does things that make people take very wrong decisions. Sometimes, they torture celebrities and players with memes and personal remarks which seems fun to them but it actually hurts them as they can clearly see what's happening.

I've seen people committing suicide only because they've been tortured in some way, either by the public or by someone close to them, it's the same kind of people that find bullying to be a fun activity for themselves while it is obviously a torture for the person going through it.

It is very sad to hear some news regarding to this it breaks my heart knowing that the man who had died is just a teenager. I just that a little precautionary measure of a gambling site owner will be applied so that it would give them some awareness that they might go into addiction if they dont know what really they are doing and also it will give them some tips not to push too much.

Immaturity also has a role to play for those involved in such incidents; if not, I don't see a good reason why someone should think of suicide as the only solution to their problems when they have not even done anything that would end them in jail for the rest of their lives. There is this saying, "Had times or difficult times define men." Yes, "a winner or a very successful man was once a faliur who tried many times, got tired of trying, even got frustrated at some point, and also got depressed at some level, but they sailed through," and that's why they are winning. For a very long time now, I have not read or heard about cases like this happening to a fully grown adult, but lately it's dawning on young teenage gamblers, which makes me think they are underage gamblers. It might not really be what I think it is, but I don't see any reason why someone who cannot handle a big loss would venture into it in the first place.

We can't blame the parents, because the advanced technology have given path for the kids to explore and understand everything with the device in their palms. When the parents weren't educated, some kids understand and use it for the good whereas similar kids will try to know and experience everything. If I'm not wrong the parents have grown him good. As a parent, they will be giving their child money for upkeep, you don’t expect parents to be monitoring what their child is doing with money, and how sure are you that the child is even staying with his parents, you don’t expect parents to know everything about their child. I think it is rather unfair to blame the parents of the suicidal nature of his child (rest is peace). Depression is not only about behavior or the way a child is taken care of. There are also people who are genetically in risk to suffer from depression and other mental issues.

So I agree that the parents were supposed to know what he was doing, but there is a good chance he was very good at hiding it and abused the trust his parents had on him. Either way, it is easy to judge when we see from far away.  One day you believe you are the best father/mother you son can have, because you managed to send him to college, he is eating well and seems happy, and next day he kills himself.

We need to have more empathy.

Dont know on why parents would be always have to be blamed on the time that their children decisions specially on the time that they are really that on the right age then its not always the guardians should really be taking up the blame.It isnt really just that right because we know that no matter how we do really give out the best of best for our children but we know that they do really have their own will

I do feel sorry for the poor boy but I don't think this story is just about the gamblers but also about ones family and I guess that one of the major reasons why this boy committed this suicide  was the thought of his family reaction  when they finally find out that he lost his fees and even that of a friend to gambling and I'm sure that it might even make his parents loss trust in the boy and he couldn't bear all this thoughts and gave up and this should serve a lesson to parents here toward how to talk to their children with love and so correct them in love as well .

Indeed, parents will stop being responsible for their children, but parents will still pay attention to their children because that is a form of love from parents to their children. That's the attitude of parents and even though parents don't seem to care, actually parents really care about their children, especially if their children don't live with them anymore. After children grow up, they begin to make their own decisions without parental influence and parents only pay attention and help children if they ask for help. And in that case, it is possible that the parents must be very sad for their child but it cannot be expressed in real terms and only buried in their hearts.

I do believe that we shouldn't be really shocked about this because we keep seeing about these type of people, they do exist and even though we would say "don't do it" normal people are aware that they shouldn't do it, it is not a shock, and we shouldn't be shocked neither. I mean you wouldn't do it, I wouldn't no normal person would do it and I understand that, but when it comes down to these people it is obvious that they are not normal.

I believe that we shouldn't judge them, there are a lot of people with mental issues and I think it would be quite troublesome if we end up with anything more than that when we scratch off these type of people as well. I think it's quite important to just let them be and hope that they get the treatment they need before they end up like this guy.

Mental health is really the issue now a days because there are a ton of people, mostly teenagers, that have been through it. Sometimes we will say it is easy to overcome, but it is not, as this really depends on the emotional aspects of the person. I am just worried that they can easily do it, which is not thinking of their family. Even in my childhood, I never thought about suicide, and in that generation of mine, there are really no suicides that I've heard of. Always think that you can find and earn the money that was lost, but your life can never be back.

That is the thing, your average person will never think of taking such a path regardless of how bad things were, so it should be obvious that this was not only a problem of this person being addicted to gambling, there were some underlying issues with his mental health as well.

And this compounds the problem even further, as one of those issues on their own are bad enough, but if you put them together then it is clear that given the circumstances nothing good can come up out of it, and in this case the worst case scenario came to happen.

as I said before that the man's suicide was not only due to addiction problems but had several causes that could trigger the man's mental decline and he thought that suicide was the most appropriate way out.

School fees or college fees? The article mentions that he is 22-years old. I would expect someone in his early 20s to act more maturely. But then I know a lot of people who have taken out loans from banks so that they can gamble. In the end, they lose whatever collateral they have provided and end up in penury. Some of the conservatives argue that these incidents are quite common and therefore gambling should be banned altogether. But I don't agree with their views either. If we ban gambling, then it will just push the industry undercover and victims of fraud and crime will be afraid to go to the police.

This basically leaves me the impression that once you get easy and fast money, 99% out of 100 you will lose that money easier and faster. Not because you don't deserve it, but because you are not ready for that large sum of money mentally and psychologically. And for parents, they really have to be able to protect their children from wrong associations because that can lead them to take the wrong path.

A gambler or a gambling addict should not take loans at all, especially if they are taking the loan specifically to gamble with the hope that they will win a lot of money, pay the loan and gamble again with the remaining money because that doesn't work, you will eventually lose the money and then start looking for ways about how you can pay the loan back before the repayment date, that is where problems start to build up.

I know a person who is a relative, he took a loan to gamble so that he can earn some money, repay the loan and keep the remaining money, but plans that you make about gambling and winnings from it are never going to go the way you want them to, he lost the loan, took a loan from somewhere else to repay the previous one and that continues.

There has been a story similar to this but this look more suspicious, I have heard some addicted gamblers took a loan to gamble and it doesn't go as the plan they committed suicide, I have seen and heard addicted gambler use their parent's pension to gamble and when the game was lost, the parent died as a result of the panic and shock when they heard about the tragic loss, I have also seen a gambler but I can't say if he is addicted, the bettor used his school fees(master degree school fees) to bet, he tried to kill himself but was recovered after he was rushed to the hospital, but this guy committed suicide for small money, that is scary to believe for a 22 years old to do, there is more challenge to life he will come across and I wonder people in his peer group will do in future difficulties.

It would be believable that suicidal acts would came from those unpaid loans whether it would be on a bank or those those other lending companies which does have some horrendous interest on which on the time that
you wouldn't really be able to repay those obligations then they would really be definitely getting your possessions or specially on what you had in collateral which it is really that a common approach.

Speaking about a student losing up some school fees or money that he had borrowed into his friend? Making up some suicide for this reason isnt something believable on which same as you said that i do see this to be
non real or not really that realistic at all on making up such decisions. Taking up suicide would really be your last resort if you dont really have any other ways or solutions into the problem but come in mind that
even if you do take your own life, then your loved ones would really be shouldering those debts and not something that would really be cleared up on the time that you do pass away.

The shame he felt for using his friend school fee's money was so intense that he took his own life. Probably he didn't have any means to repay his friend who was already asking for the money, because he needed it to continue his course at the school, added to the fact his parents also didn't have the money to repay his friend. So it was a double shame he felt (regards his parents and regards his friend).

These things happen without the person thinking carefully about what he is going to do. If they had more time to talk and to clear things up it could have been possible to avoid this tragedy. But everything happened so fast, unfortunatelly... Now it's important that educators, health professionals and authorities take some time to enlight the younger generation on how to solve problems logically and reasonably, without taking extreme measures like that young man did on this case.

It's just so saddening that there are instances like these. It could have been prevented if there is a good communication between them. It is such a watse that a precious life is taken away because of money matters. Financial problems can be solved, but a life that is gone is forever gone. No amount of money can bring life back. Hence, it must be instilled in the minds of the younger generations to open up, communicate, take responsibility, and do the best that they can to solve their problems instead of running away from it and leaving bigger problem and heartache behind.

Gambling has a negative impact on people who become addicts because with gambling addiction a person can commit acts beyond the limits of either criminal acts or other actions that are detrimental to himself.

Well, each person has their way of thinking and their way of acting, that defines it according to their personality and it is very common for there to be people who have some problems, either due to trauma or because they were actually born with a flaw in their brain, and these things are sometimes not their fault, the bad thing is that when they are not treated in time they can give all kinds of reactions regardless of the consequences , of course this carries a huge responsibility charge and this leads us to think that all of us As players we always have to be responsible for our game and always be very right in what we do.

Sometimes, thinking about it, we cannot really say blame them if they made that choice because the kind of situation they are in is quite unimaginable for someone that is not on their shoes. Im guilty with this on which i do let my toddler on using up some device or phone but strictly checking out on what are the videos been watched which i do mainly focused on Baby first and Ms Rachel type of videos

 You're right @Lionheart78 I believe he's had several history of such event that might have turned that good maybe that's what prompted him to try again and out of greed he decided to include his friends money to stake higher and get more profit and it went the other way, but I feel the reasons that triggered the suicidal though maybe he's relieved death treats from his friend on failure to pay before a certain time, or worried about the abuse and embarrassment he might get from fellow colleagues when they find out, but altogether he made the wrong choice and too bad suicide was the only option he had.

Because anyone writes their own destiny and we have fair chances to improve our life using our life span. Yes its hard to be born as poor but its your mistake if you die still poor because it on,y means that didn’t do anything to improve your life.

Though, one needs to be aware that during the first years of our existence we are pretty much dependent on the choices our parents take for us and the way they guide us. During that period of time there is little to nothing we can do about improving our future if our parents are disfuncional and do not even give us the tools and education to fulfill a better destiny, even as we become adults.

The children had loss his emotion control and committed suicide for few dollars.The children who involved had forgot about their parents cared on him and if he get into their parents.The parent may just scold him or beat him.Now the entire life of the children was no more.The gambling site should check of random and doesn’t allow the children into the gambling.Even if their parents kick that children from the house,he can survive without their parents.But he is no more for their children,the parents also grew their children with more guts.
