Title: How would you measure your success in Crypto currency
Post by: kentrolla on July 10, 2023, 02:47:01 PM
Many said its absolutely a scam, pathetic and more. but crypto currency has favored to those who trusted on it, In terms of cross border payment, p2p and vice versa the domination of crypto is keep on increasing. In terms of investment people knew only Crude, stocks, bonds, stock market, gold etc...but this platform made a way ahead to make money harder and smarter, I know most of the government's are not favoring this but in upcoming years you will see the green signal for crypto as well.

I personally feel it has changed most of us in our life, In terms of technology and development we every one know the way we are heading towards web3, metaverse, defi are remarkable. All credits to development of bitcoin :) I am earning this from as well, I never thought I would make much descent money in this sector. share your success as well thankyou :D

Success in cryptocurrency is adoption by institutions and by majority of people. But ofcourse we're still far from this possibility. So if we would base at the present, I think we are in good progress given that more people and countries are considering this technology's usage. With regards to my success in this industry, I'd say I'm still far from that feeling of satisfaction. For me, being successful to anything is the same as meeting a point wherein you will be satisfied but not contented ofcourse. And if it is individual's success in this industry, then it would also be tied with profit. And with regards to profit, many for sure have suffered from loss due to unpredictable price movements and wrong decisions but be sure to learn atleast and to look forward with what's next for cryptocurrencies.

Everyone's success will certainly be different and what you are getting now is thanks to the hard work you are doing. Crypto has also made me a lot of money so far. There are many projects that I work on and continue to be involved with new projects. Getting an Airdrop from every new project gives a lot of advantages, I got it several times and almost never missed one. The important thing is to be consistent and keep abreast of new projects. Because of the many profits that I managed to get I started doing some trading and investing in the recommended projects. Many success stories of people in crypto and many more who earn thousands to millions of dollars in crypto. Who wants to try and stay consistent he will get the result.

I know this topic is one that questions financial success, but I still want to go a little outside of the box... Cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin in particular have changed many things in my life. My perspective on the world has changed. My perspective on money and its history has changed. Cryptocurrencies have changed and improved me for the better. Of course, I made money from cryptocurrencies, but first of all, I think I gained an identity because the world is no longer the old world for me... I am eternally grateful to God for meeting Satoshi and his idea of Bitcoin.

We all earned from those and definitely from Bitcoin. We're all grateful and happy that there's this Satoshi Nakamoto that we never knew how he/she looks like and if they're a group of people that has made this technological revolution and innovation. I've also earned and it helped me financially with cryptocurrencies. But I admire more those that have made a lot because of being early on this space and even the late ones that have believed there's still an endless opportunity regardless of how early or late you got in.

The term success is very subjective and depends on an individual. For me, the success is measured by ROI. I have a decent amount of investment into cryptos and I also hold millions of dead tokens from various old ICOs. So for me, it's return on investment.

The technology is fine, but there are many tokens available in the market today which are technically superior than bitcoin. But Bitcoin is still ruling the crypto market. So I assume a lot of people don't give a shit about tech, rather they care more about returns.

I don't personally haven't felt the change in my life, maybe because i am already living under good society. But i totally understand that in third world countries, or in somewhere where you can't trust the gov or banks, holding your own wallet, sending money and using DeFi is quite a game changer. Well i have benefited by making money but i don't really think that's the main point of cryptocurrenies. Just a side effect for them being volatile and me getting in early. And it's not like everyone will get money from it. Many of the people will lose everything just for investing wrong time to wrong coins.

I think for the most part people will talk about there personal gains because most people aren't involved in any different crypto projects.  I can say one of my major successes with crypto though is not in how much I made but who along the way I have met due to crypto.  I have made some great irl friends that I might have otherwise not have known.  Time and relationships to me is much more important than money so even if I "crap out" it will not be a loss :)

I think that I have been lucky so far in 2021 when I made a ton of profit from the Bitcoin I was holding and sold a big chunk of it at 59.500 dollars.I invested about 14.500 in a big mining rig at that time for 300 Mhsh which is stuck with me now, only 100 Mhsh I have active. What I define as not success though is the fact that I have not been able to be as good as a holder I was back then as I have been losing a lot of crypto in the casino and that is what I want to correct until the next bull run.I want to emulate the 2021 success in 2025 yet so far I am far from it and my objective is to come as near as possible  ;D.

Cryptocurrency has changed my life positively , there are things I have now that I won't have achieved if not for Crypto, since I joined the space I have been independent financially, married and  have beautiful children, though there are some setbacks like hacks and the Luna fiasco but it has been one of the best thing to happen to me in the last 7 years and I am very grateful to God for this.

It's not that big I guess, but it can definitely be called a success. I mean I had nothing when I joined, now at least I have a bit that I can confidently call my own. In terms of development, it hasn't really helped much, but in financial making decisions and related stuff? Vastly helped me to learn a lot. Just the fact that it made me aware of investing and what to take note of is a big thing already imo. It's also personally teached me about losses, hard ones, which I wasn't really familiar with (but I was kind of aware of) back then when I was still in college.

honestly I'd consider success in cryptocurrency just the same as investing in some other investments.
it's basically a success if you could grow your initial investments or you have an income from it. moreover considering the fact that many cryptocurrency holders has been having some massive profits if they hold it for long.
i think pretty much all those holders are successful people.

We could see see this from two different points of views, from the point of view of the market and from our point of view, when it comes to this market in general I think there is no other way to describe what we are seeing as nothing else but an absolute success, this market went from zero to a 1.23 trillion dollars in a little bit more than a decade, so the story of this market is the story of a huge success, and in my particular case I think I have done well enough as well, as you may guess I could have done better, but what person does not think they could have obtained even better results if they took slightly different decisions?

If the question is about my personal success, then it must be based on my net worth, whether or not cryptocurrency has helped me increase my net worth. And the answer is yes, but the benefit mostly came from the campaign. I have yet to see significant benefits from my real-world work, such as increasing business revenue and stuff due to the usage of cryptocurrency. It's not yet a success in my opinion if I use this as a base of the valuation, maybe because crypto is not yet mainstream, but maybe it's because my business isn't suitable for the crypto ecosystem, hard to tell... Currently, all my revenue is from fiat transactions.

The word success is very broad, and it also depends on the person.
It's a very subjective thing, and different people have different reasons for them to be called successful.

Some can just have 100 Bitcoins, and call themselves successful already. Some can just have reach their dream goal of having a hundred million dollars, and call themselves successful already. Some can call themselves successful if they manage to give their family a house and lot plus a car.

In cryptocurrency, TBH I can't measure my success into it because I'm very far away still from reaching my goal. What is my goal? Just simple. Holding a single Bitcoin in my wallet. I know it's hard (at least for me), but I believe that I can reach that one in the near future. Right now, I guess my measure of success is at around 20% only. I'm still far away from my goal like I said.

when viewed from the beginning I knew cryptocurrencies, even though there were not many results compared to those who already knew them beforehand, but I am grateful because with cryptocurrencies I can realize my dreams which seemed impossible to come true. of course, a large income from following crypto until I finally survived to this day. my hope is that during a bearish market like this I invest as much as possible according to my ability to finally get results in the next bullish season, and it will continue to circulate like that, as additional income, unfortunately I have not been able to maximize the income from the trading sector to meet my daily needs

The answer from your question gonna be different caused by it must be based on the personal's perspective. In my understand if someone can be called success in crypto when he will able to make bunch of money from crypto.
I have used money as a way to determine how success someone is in the crypto currency. It's caused by crypto is about speculative asset and money. I don't wanna put tech as measurement caused by it's not all of people actively using tech available in crypto.
I do believe if mostly people is willing to earn money from using crypto. that's why i called crypto as a tool to generate money online.

No reason for me to call someone who adopted crypto's tech as a successful crypto user. I prefer to take how much money that can be generated by anyone rather than tech in crypto.
Im not so naive by saying tech is a measurement in the crypto while money is everything in crypto now.

Still, despite the success of bitcoin and some other projects, the rest of the crypto industry is an absolute scam to this day. The possibility of making money on scam does not mean that this project is reliable. It means that you are among the lucky ones who managed to cash out their profits in time, while the rest lose money on crypto investments. The crypto industry is not yet sufficiently developed in terms of regulation and regulations regarding the various mechanisms for buying and selling cryptocurrencies. Scammers take advantage of this uncertainty and therefore create many dubious schemes.

I’ve done really well in cryptocurrency but a lot of that success is just luck that I was early & had the conviction to invest enough to take life changing money. What I would say to anybody new in the game though is that you are always only one coin or investment away from really making it. Don’t be afraid to take a few calculated stabs in the dark because you can make big money in alts.

It was easier five to seven years ago when Cryptocurrency was just making a breakthrough in the real world, you can participate in a bounty and the reward is almost equal to one year of your salary, that was when I have a great ride in the olden days where so many legit projects are launching their platform, but now there are so many scam projects and some of them looked legit until the developers run with your money, nowadays it's hard to see what projects will have potential and what projects are a scam, you need to have a good knowledge and an insight on how a project will turn out.

If success is only measured by the value of holding crypto, there are many successful people with years of Hodling missions with only a few small collections of decent crypto. The cut-off is that at least they hit their target time.

But actually there are many things that can be measured in a person's success, in other words they can aggressively achieve wealth faster because they have a high spirit of exploration and challenge in altcoin projects. In this case, success is not only about high yield, but also high experience.
I personally may be too old to do it all so I'm a bit skeptical everywhere and only have the first way.

The best measure of success in cryptocurrency is financial gain. How much have you earned by investing in cryptocurrency, and are you still investing in crypto or not? Sometimes it comes down to an individual's luck when talking about profit earning, etc.  The more you earn, the more successful your investment is.

Obviously that's for sure because those who are here are looking for financial benefits whether to make ends meet or whatever it is,
but it must also be understood that getting profit requires a process,
there is no instant way to get success it takes sacrifice.

I find cryptocurrency criticism, particularly Bitcoin criticism, one-dimensional and shortsighted. Naysayers frequently overlook the revolution and focus on the volatility. They seem to have financial innovation tunnel vision. I mean, isnt it amazing that we have a totally decentralized, peer-to-peer currency for the first time? Never before!

I agree that Bitcoin is a platform for investing. Bitcoin has opened up new investment venues for people who were too focused on traditional ones. Adding a secret spice to a classic meal unleashes a whole new flavor profile!

Bitcoin will be adopted despite certain governments' hesitation. Folks, this train wont stop. In a decade, it has affected major industries including finance and technology. Bitcoin is needed for Web3, metaverse, and defi.

If people are saying reaching $1 Million, $10 Million etc is a success in cryptocurrency, it's wrong because that's success in your financial, not in cryptocurrency.

Someone is success in cryptocurrency when he know what he buy and the reason behind it. People who're still buy a centralized shitcoins is still not success in cryptocurrency, but if people who're only buy decentralized and have a real use case, they're already success in cryptocurrency.

If you managed to do things right, you only get benefits in the crypto industry but of course, it took me some serious time in order to get my first income and some fruits in my investment. Because in this industry, it requires more knowledge than the others because you are not only working on how to multiply your investment, but you also needed to prevent yourself from getting scammed by avoiding shady projects and cryptocurrencies that will gonna ruin your dream to earn big. everything you do in your investment needs some patience and perseverance which will be the reason to become successful and earn a decent amount of money.

There is only one way to avoid scams - to have any experience and to check all the information. You have to check everything before investing. Scammers always use new tactiks to attract users money. But usually they offer things and products that are so attractive that common projects can not offer. That is why people continue to invest in scams.

Crypto is a tool to change one's life. Many people because rich, that was undeniable but many people also lost their money. For me, earning a profit in crypto is already a big success because this is the sign that I really understand how the market works and am able to adapt to the changing situation of the market. With this new and great technology, we could say that this will help to solve our problems financially. Indeed, the number of investors and traders are quite growing fast because they believe that it was a great venue to earn a profit even having a day job.

The knowledge about it.

If I didn't bump into my friend and introduced me to cryptocurrencies then I might not be here. Worst, I may still be asking what Bitcoin, Ethereum or XRP is because I am still innocent about it.
If I didn't pursue to have more knowledge about it then I may still just be working 9 hours a day and drinking with my buddies whenever payday comes, just the same cycle over and over again.
There's a difference now because I have knowledge about cryptocurrencies. There's always something new, something to research about, and something that will enter the hype.
I think that success cannot be actually measured.
But in terms of money, I did make a good amount during the ICO hype and then of course with Bitcoin too.

Crypto is a tool to change one's life. Many people because rich, that was undeniable but many people also lost their money.
Changes can occur both in the direction of thickening your wallet in your pocket, and thinning. Here, how lucky with the choice of this tool.

For me, earning a profit in crypto is already a big success because this is the sign that I really understand how the market works and am able to adapt to the changing situation of the market.
Success, right? Maybe it's all about luck and chance? With cryptocurrencies, the tactics are very simple: buy and do not sell until the price rises. The main thing is not to buy scam shitcoins.

With this new and great technology, we could say that this will help to solve our problems financially.
Technology is not created to solve your financial problems. For example, bitcoin was created for completely different purposes (digital money) than, as it is now used (investment tool).

Indeed, the number of investors and traders are quite growing fast because they believe that it was a great venue to earn a profit even having a day job.
It would be better if the number of users and new places for use grew.

Investors and traders are only inflating the bubble.

There are two kinds of people who have made a profit or suffered a lot of loss. Those who trade with more greed or get enticed by seeing others’ results, most of the guys book loss. On the other hand, those who trade patiently by analyzing the chart and market sentiment, make money from this market. But there are always exceptions. I have also made a lot of money from the crypto market, but I still won’t say that I am successful. I have also faced a lot of loss due to excessive greed, so I always advise sell it whenever you are in good profit.

It would be wrong to say I haven't benefitted from the cryptocurency market but I haven't gotten the level of wealth I want to acquire that made me to get involved in the industry. I'm not impatient so I'll be waiting for my turn, I have done my investment rightly this time and I won't be missing out on the next bull market like I did in previous bull market.
There's so much opportunities in the industry as some projects has turned people into millionaire in a very short period of time. I want to see myself achieving similar success by making millions from my investment before I can say I have become successful in the industry. For now I'm just making few dollars but as I said, I have patience.
I'm not ready to follow others in investing in shitcoins or NFT then start hoping to get lucky, I want to plan myself to the millionaire network by investing in cryptocurency that I'll have to hold for some years so when the wealth comes I'll have experience to manage it very well so I won't lose them because of lack of experience.

To be quite honest i would measure the success that i had with my crypto investments simply by the profit that i made or will make in the future with it. Given this approach my current success with cryptos is still non existant to be honest because so far i have not cashed out any of my crypto investments given to the fact that we are still in a bear market obviously. I think at the moment the value of my crypto holdings is pretty much at the same level as the value of the FIAT that i invested into crypto within the last years so i am still fine at the moment and of course i hope that once we go into a bull market again in the future i will have some profits too.

Re: How would you measure your success in Crypto currency

I would guess having more than you used to have should have been the only thing that matters, isn't it? I am not saying that's the only thing that matters, all I am saying that it is the biggest thing. Lets say today I have 1 bitcoin, and next year at the same day I have 2 bitcoins, isn't that success?

I feel like that's success enough and shouldn't really be different in any case. I know that it is going to be a bit of a trouble when we are talking about it that way, but that doesn't mean that we are not going to end up with a trouble. All in all I believe that we are going to make a profit one way or another, and that means we are going to make a profit so it should be a success, profit=success should stay as the indicator of success.

It will all depends on your perspective on cryptocurrency if you can considered it as a success. Crypto for me has a success interms of adoptation but personally I don't think I get the success that I want. I have a financial goal in crypto and I still haven't achieved that goal even I experienced few bull runs. I made wrong decisions that's why I struggled on achieving my goal. This upcomming bull market, I will try my best to achieve the crypto success that I am considering.

Those people who are saying that it's absolutely a scam are those who have experience with negative aspects and have been victimized with those people who make it their goal to let other people suffer with their hard earned money.

It's definitely life changing if you are early on it but the opportunity to earn from  it doesn't stop there. There's a bunch of markets that crypto has opened up so it's best to maximize it if you know how to.

I do not deny that there are indeed many scam cryptocurrency, which steals the money of the customers, but in the behind there must also be sweet fruit if we really understand how to benefit from cryptocurrency itself, as far as I know cryptocurrency gives a lot of benefits I got even though in the early years it was very difficult because understanding it was quite complicated, but I could feel I could be successful today with the amount of income from cryptocurrency that supported my life to this day. I think this is the point of success that I can mention from this crypto industry, where I don't have to spend energy from my muscles to survive.

In my opinion measuring your success in cryptocurrency can be subjective and dependent on individual goals. also the Key indicators include portfolio growth and profitability from trades but most  important effective risk management and continuous learning about the market. I think the success is defined by achieving personal financial objectives within the dynamic digital ecosystem of cryptocurrency and its a process of hard work not magic.

One's success in cryptocurrency can be determined based on how much money they've made so far after adopting cryptocurrencies either by trading them in exchanges or working for them at different places such as signature campaigns and other services available on this forum, a lot of people find success in cryptocurrency universe but a lot also struggle to achieve that because it is easier said than done and those who can't properly manage everything can't get success.

Most newbies these days don't really learn anything about the market or trading and just enter the market with their investments since they don't know much, they tend to be more vulnerable to losses in their trading endeavors and they learn step-by-step after incurring some losses initially.

Many people prefer to exchange their time and knowledge for money, as on principle that is what you are doing by getting a job and being paid for it, however using your money to try to get even more money is a more effective use of your resources, as our time is very limited and we also need to use it to increase our skills as well, however there is no upper limit to the amount of money we can have and as such it makes sense that you can earn more money as a trader than someone that is part of the government.

Some got decent profits but some also got a worse experience.
However, when it comes to development and earning opportunities, we believe that crypto does well but what just we need is to be more cautious when choosing the projects to invest in because not all are worth investing in, many were just a scam. But for now, I won't say that we are already achieving the goal yet from being considered as another payment option but with the growing adaptation, we can really be taking it there and that's the time we can say - it was successful.

Aside from the individual success that we have recorded and attaining financial freedom and also providing a better alternative to banks and also giving us a borderless financial advantage,  now what we look forward to is when institutions and people gain involved in Bitcoin and its advantage.,  when we can easily spend bitcoin to pay for goods and services and the general public adopting bitcoin.

Not only has cryptocurrency changed the institutional perspective on finances where the unbanked are easily financially inclusive in the sense that one can send money through Bitcoin without the necessary need to have a bank account or what have you, even at government level countries like El Salvador and the Central Africa Republic are all benefiting from bitcoin and have made bitcoin a legal tender within their country.

Often what is circulating in society in general when talking about success is getting and having a lot of money. Especially in the cryptocurrency business world, success here is considered if you get a lot of money from this field. And this assumption is not wrong, because many people who end up being financially successful, have excess income and lots of money from various activities in cryptocurrency. In fact, they have succeeded in changing their finances and their lives thanks to the cryptocurrency business. And this is what everyone always dreams of when they get into crypto, which is big success by making a lot of money. This opinion is very normal.

But the truth is, success in crypto is much more than that, much more than just making a lot of money. but also how crypto is able to change our mindset in life, change our perspective on development and technological progress, towards something that cannot be held but can be trusted. This is not easy to accept at the beginning. And the process to accept and develop it and follow it consistently, this is part of the word success in cryptocurrency for me.

You have a job, being a trader is a crypto job. But it is your own job, it is different with your cousins who work for the government. You are lucky that you can get your income with your own way.  ;)

I also worked in crypto since a few years ago. I trade crypto, join bounties, and do some other businesses in crypto. I'm almost the same with you, I can earn money monthly more than average people's salary who work on the government institutions. However, I think working in real life is also needed, I try to have a job although it is a private job.

Anyway, we must thank to the God that crypto helps us a lot.  :)

Financial Returns One of the most common measures of success in cryptocurrency is the financial return on investment. This involves tracking the value of your cryptocurrency holdings and assessing the profitability of your trades or investments over time. You can compare your returns to benchmarks such as market indices or the performance of other cryptocurrencies.

I am not sure what your cousins make by doing government jobs but that's stable income. Crypto trading is mostly based on luck, and while i, and you have been lucky, don't think that couldn't change in a heartbeat. Also i am not sure how this goes where you live but taxation in govenrment job is pretty easy comparing to crypto trading where it can change the outcome a lot.

I would totally keep steady job as a backup and trading as a hobby. That's how richest people in crypto that i know made their fortune. As they didn't need to sell when things were though.

What I really notice about people is just misunderstanding. They misunderstand what really cryptocurrency is difficult to identify the scam.
They must think that the scam here are the people or platforms that use cryptocurrency for illegal activities, it's not the Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is a scam.
Because in fiat currency, there are also using fiat currency for criminal or illegal activities but fiat currency is not scam.

I developed interest in cryptocurrency  when I realised it could save me the stress and limitations of conventional payment systems when doing business overseas.

However, in terms of financial gains, I have not made much progress in crypto as I have neither caught any of the bull runs nor bought any crypto that made huge gains.

Nevertheless, the knowledge I have gained so far has helped me on many ways such as payment for courses and programs online. So, I believe someday it will be possible to also make financial gains from crypto.

I think the first thing I would say about this is that we must not let other people to measure success for ourselves, as we are the only ones that know our goals and that know what we want to achieve with our lives, so while there could be some people that achieved great things on this market and for which I cannot compare, at the same time I am really happy with my small achievements as there is little doubt in my mind that investing in bitcoin has increased significantly the rate at which I have accumulated my small level of wealth.

That's right, if I'm not mistaken the country of Indonesia is preparing to launch a national cryptocurrency exchange this month, which will be the only platform for crypto transactions in the country and the stakeholders/Regulators there are finalizing the selection of companies to carry out trading. Of course, this is also good news because Indonesia's population is very large, namely 278.69 million people in mid-2023.

Many fail to see the forest for the money, or the blockchain for the coins/profit. Bitcoin, as the most popular cryptocurrency, represents this shift perfectly.

Put another way: let's face it, everyone wants a piece of the Bitcoin action. however, the greater picture? The key is to grasp the potential of blockchain, the underlying technology of Bitcoin

There will be lasting effects from this movement. Transactions, data security, and perhaps voting are all in the horizon for blockchain technology. To be successful in the cryptocurrency industry, then, requires more than just accumulating wealth. Blockchain is the final destination, so enjoy the ride that is Bitcoin

In crypto, I've fallen and risen numerous times. I'm sticking to my objective to ensure that I'm completely proficient in the space. There are no boundaries to what we may achieve in the market; we study and gain new ideas every day; clearly, now is not the time to stop; rather, we must continue to push harder every day. The existence of cryptocurrencies in the universe has made many people wealthy, but many have returned to the trenches as a result of investing in an inappropriate business. Everything will fall into place; it's just a matter of time before we reach the top of the market.

Return or risk is our own choice, this market exists until now and continues to develop in the future through many things that have happened. For me, I am always happy with what I have learned with it, as well as the fact that it has helped me to improve a lot in my life conditions when it has brought profits in the investment process. Obviously I do not like to blame this market, but always want to look at the fact that we always make personal mistakes when we lack understanding in a fair environment, if someone has understanding as well as too much. There is no reason why they have to suffer many failures and lose forever.

Yeah. the market goes as it is and continues without seeing that Person A has made a big profit and Person B has lost 30%, Yes. it goes back to each other's expertise and definitely experience that is proficient in reading the market along with valid supporting data is what determines someone to be the winner in this crypto space.

More and more people who invest and get early access to this market that I see will have better positions, it's really simple than that, I just wish that the market grows bigger and more people know about it is also understanding how it works so that you can make a profit on your investment.
Crypto offers a lot of opportunities indeed, but that doesn't mean those opportunities are easy, so the story of newcomers getting into the market and making mistakes, but over time maturing helps them achieve it get different results.

Measuring success is easy if someone has or has not yet reached financial independence in the cryptocurrency industry, and it can indeed be seen objectively or objectively in terms of this, for sure I do what I should do on processes to this point at this point , I think it is inappropriate if you speak only a success, I need to share what process I have gone through, but maybe it will be too long and need a lot of pages to tell, but the important point is that the process you have to pay very expensive, Sacrifice of assets, time, energy, frustration and many more that can take you to the point you can make money easily in the world of crypto, I am very grateful for what I get today, and hopefully those who are still struggling to get a better position in This industry can be achieved.

The way people say things about cryptocurrency, you will understand that it has gave a way of living to people than the government and politicians has ever did in their democracy lies.

It is definitely not a good thing to leave your job, especially if it's a government job because they are not easy to get and you get a pension too when you retire, one can easily manage to do trading or any other activity as a part-time job with the main job because it doesn't require a lot of time, and even if it does, a 9-5 job doesn't take up all your time and if you are determined and really want to pursue your passion too, you should be able to do it.

And you are also right that market conditions don't always stay the same, so the profitability of a trader keeps changing over time, that's why one shouldn't take a single period that is profitable to be the overall measure of how their trading is going because it doesn't take much time for dynamics to change.

Crypto has changed almost everyone of us life. We are still in its early adoption stage and once it becomes mainstream, we will be the privileged one reaping most of it's benefits.
I have initially earned crypto from signature campaigns on this forum and later I started buying them.
In those days, Icos was craze and I took participation in some of good icos. Those were the days when 90% of icos succeeded and those who participated in them make good profit.
Now a days it is really hard to find good project during presale but I heard some meme coins have made lot of people millionaire.

I haven't hit the target interms of financial freedom yet so I don't think now is the time for me. Although I have gain alot in terms of knowledge and experience which can be considered as success in that aspect.  Am no longer the naive person that came into crypto years back.
And I believe am near hitting my financial target which will give me some level of financial freedom and self satisfactory.
Congratulations!!!

Indeed, we look forward to gaining more profit from investing in crypto and we believe that this would give us financial freedom.
But I would say that it was high for me from my status where my investment is just low. However, what I get now is already a big success for me yet, I wasn't thinking about financial freedom. Maybe I was wrong and don't have that kind of positivity but I was not getting to the point where greediness will start as this will be the reason for our failure.

i'd measure success in cryptocurrency bow at how fast of a rate i can grow my capital.
i think its just that simple, when you can grow your capital fast enough and good enough I'd already consider that as a massive success.
because honestly its all about having good income, that helps you grow your wealth.

Success is everyone's dream. I went here too with the aim of making a profit so I could become a rich man. In other words, people who have a lot of money are definitely said to be successful people. I have tried this ability by participating in various things such as participating in bounty campaigns and fast trading and holding a number of coins in hopes of becoming a successful person in the future

yes, but I suggest you to invest in popular and useful coin, because if you invest in useless coin, then you will not be successful and rich, but of course you will lose your money, so it is very important for you to DYOR before investing and my advice is that you better invest in the top 10 on coinmarketcap, because it's safer and of course the price will definitely increase, so you can be successful and rich in the future.

Cryptocurrency is a place where you can not have a specific measure of your cryptocurrency success, before you invest on a particular coin, but rather spread your investment in difference alt-coins including Bitcoin and give it time while holding. I have been see many people testify about there cryptocurrency investment on Last burn with huge return profits after holding for a certain period of time, and base on that next Bull Run will be a successful for a new and old investors, as long you can hold.

All earnings in cryptocurrency are based one way or another on buying something before everyone else and selling it before everyone else, but not so early that you don't have to bite your elbows because of lost profits. This is why big capitals very rarely buy coins at market value, they try to buy these coins either during the venture investment period or buy coins at the bottom of the market, when most of the participants sell. Hence the conclusion, if you are buying at a time when everyone else is buying, you are doing something wrong.

It is also important to take note and to not trust blindly in a coin just because it is near the top of the market, after all we have seen several coins in the past that reached those levels and they still scammed their customers, in fact the community warned about some of those coins in the past and many people due to the privileged position those coins had decided to ignore our advice, with the obvious negative consequence such decision eventually brought them.

yes, all the time a lot of negative news hits crypto. but even though a lot of negative news has hit crypto, crypto is still growing and getting more popular all the time. this can be proven from wider adoption and increasing market cap. It is undeniable that currently crypto is one of the most popular digital investments and assets.

Not everyone has the target for gaining income only, some may expect to have broad insight in crypto. If you only target to earn enough money from crypto, you are successful when you earn good amount of money. But for people who expect for the knowledge as well, the success may take a long time. We know that learning is endless, we always continue to learn something new everyday.

yes, all the time a lot of negative news hits crypto. but even though a lot of negative news has hit crypto, crypto is still growing and getting more popular all the time.
Bad news is unavoidable, it will be always there. But bad news sometimes give us advantage, it possibly lead to a big decrease in prices. We can buy crypto coins at cheaper prices when there is bad news. Sure, mostly the impact of bad news only bring impact temporarily. For the long run, it won't give significant impact, crypto market will always survive and continue to grow.

When it comes to BTC investment, it's second to none. Now, what's interesting is that someone is able to manage between investing in potential coins and alternative coins too well. So, income/Increased estimation of trading assets not only in BTC but, in Altcoins also helps. it's just a success. So. all got.

Yes, Bitcoins have literally helped make international transactions easier and more convenient. I made lots of profits from cryptocurrency, but I won’t consider it a success. Bitcoins have a lot of advantages, and due to Bitcoins, we have invented new technologies like NFTs and Defis. Earlier, people were forced to invest in stocks, bonds, and NIFTYs. But along with these investments, they are also surrounded by rules and taxes. But in the case of bitcoin investment, these parameters can be completely avoided. So yes, I can say crypto investment has somehow been successful for me.

You need to be careful because even if once your money is in this market it cannot be easily taxed by the authorities of your country, once you leave this market and sell some of your coins for fiat and they touch your bank account, the first thing that a bank will do is to report that amount to the government and then they will come knocking your door asking to hear an explanation about the source of those funds and then they will ask for what it is legally theirs.

The success of a cryptocurrency is often measured by its ability to generate substantial fiat profits. However, in my view, the true success of a cryptocurrency lies in its widespread adoption as a viable form of currency, enabling people to use it for various transactions, including the purchase of goods and services.

I won't stop you from participating in airdrops or keep on hunting bounties but rather spend your time learning about trading. Because it was hard to look for hope in airdrops where almost 100% are scams and useless tokens. I will tell you that you can never find success from that but you can find it from trading. Yes, many had failed from doing this but who knows if you can make things right and you are good at this. Because from this, you can actually find hope, and was not impossible to succeed.

I believe whenever people have a temporary money in their pocket they can live for a while, I think they should look for a way to learn a skill that can make it a permanent situation. Learning how to design, code, or do whatever, marketing is the most important skill of them all, if you learn marketing very well then you can sell anything and make money from affiliate income of it.

So if that person made money from airdrops, that's temporary and they are not going to make that all the time, it would be much better if they learn how to do a better job with leering better skills and then use those skills to find jobs in the crypto market. I have done that, and I am quite happy with the situation without a doubt.

~snip~
The meaning of success in cryptocurrency may be different for each person, but for me, success requires three things, one is patience, two is time and number three is hard work. I think that if all the people in the cryptocurrency world have these three things in them then they will definitely be successful. Because if we see that most people are unsuccessful or failure in cryptocurrency because of breaking these three things, such as not being patient, not being able to control their emotions, then not giving time to learn something new, and having this mentality in the mind that crypto can actually get rich easily without doing anything.

Having passive sources of income is much better than just having temporary ones. I agree with this 100%. I think most people that are new to cryptocurrency (and this forum) will start of with doing bounties and participating in airdrops as they think it is easy and quick money. But as you mention, 99% of all bounties and airdrops are just a total waste of time, they either turn scam or if they pay out, the tokens are not listed on a decent exchange and thus just useless.

Bitcoins have a lot of advantages, and due to Bitcoins, we have invented new technologies like NFTs and Defis.

This is hardly a credit to bitcoin. We owe these types of tokens to Ethereum, not the bitcoin. NFTs on the bitcoin blockchain only came out this year, when NFTs on the ETH blockchain came out back in 2017 and thanks to the hype, NFTs became known around the world. DeFi too was popularized on the Ethereum blockchain in 2020. If you think back, all the significant hypes and new types of tokens appeared first on the Eth blockchain and then on the rest of the chains.

It's been a roller-coaster of some sort lol, my early days in the crypto space was very disappointing, I lost a lot of funds to scam projects, to hackers and to badly calculated trades. But I've made a few changes and it's been really productive in recent times. Indepth research has helped me when I'm investing, and trading on reliable exchanges like Binance and Bitget has exposed me to efficient products like Grid trading, Flexible Savings, Copy trading and so on especially on the later exchange.

Success in Crypto is the number of people it has changed their financial life, some people are sitting currently on life changing money, money they never dreamed of in their life thanks to Crypto they can say they are financially independent. Being financially free is the best thing that can happen to anyone in life, to not think of where the next food will come from and have more than enough is a great feat

Not having to worry about your income and to be free to do what you like the most is one of the best things that can happen to a person, however not everyone can handle that kind of freedom, without a structure many people feel lost and begin to engage on high risk behaviors which eventually will cause them to reevaluate their behavior, however a great deal of those people will only make this realization too late once they have committed a mistake from which there is no turning back.

Yeah, but even though we're heading towards those trends especially Web3.0, there are still kinda "slumps" into it. We've been around ICOs back in 2017 and innovation were still coming through then we got NFTs, but the trend just died down after couple of years. Right now we're heading towards AI where it might impact a lot not just in crypto but to the whole market itself.

Good thing I am not easily brought down by trends. Trends aren't equally meaning as worth it. I've seen a lot of NFTs being mentioned to be the future, but I wonder where are they now though after they went radio silent for so long.

You success in the cryptocurrency depends too much how much money you earn on cryptocurrency. It is much more simple to earn money during the rise of the market then during the fall of the market. During the fall of the market everything is so unstable and unclear that many people lose money on cryptocurrency.

You can go back a few years where there are a lot of success tokens and investments from those tokens have made huge profits. Actually crypto market is not stable so we get disappointed in fail market. Moreover, there are very few people who have not successfully profited from crypto and most investors have become rich from it.

A few years ago, many tokens were successful because there was a bull run, many people had a lot of money, and it was easy to profit from cryptocurrency, whereas now a bull run seems difficult to happen, and investors are more selective in choosing projects; they must have developments that are useful for many people or mutually beneficial for both parties to get success while being offered.

In the country where I live, Bitcoin is issued by government experts and is considered an illegal currency. But most of the banks in my country are not trusted to keep money many times it is going bankrupt. So I don't deposit my savings in banks but convert them into cryptocurrency bitcoins. But many a times people lose their money by investing their money in wrong coin and wrong location.
That is one of the most notable reasons why Bitcoin is so popular, a lot of people use Bitcoin as an escape route from traditional financial institutions because they don't want to use them as they don't have any trust in them, but sometimes, there are hurdles in their way just like you mentioned that the government has made cryptocurrencies illegal but you are still using it as your escape from fiat and institutions that are manipulating and controlling.

Bitcoin is definitely the most trusted cryptocurrency in the whole industry when it comes to storing the savings that you have from your real-life job or anything, there might be some trusted altcoins out there as well but you can't risk putting your life savings in an altcoins as anything can happen.

To a certain extent, you have a legitimate point. Sure, Bitcoin is the frontrunner; its the OG; your grandma's heard of it. Without a shadow of a doubt, it is the most well-known digital currency. But that would be like claiming there is no other reliable soft drink save Coca-Cola.

C'mon! Cryptocurrency is a vast and diverse field. Bitcoin isnt the only option. There is a wide variety of cryptocurrencies, each with its own set of benefits, underlying technology, and savvy development teams. Ethereum, Cardano, Polkadot, and dozens more are just a few examples. There are some altcoins that are not as risky as others. Some of them could turn out to be golden geese if you do your homework. Cryptography is not a lose-all competition, my friend.

We are not heading towards AI, we are inside the AI period, which means that if the bull run happens right now then AI would have been the biggest thing, but all the AI projects right now getting failure because we are not in a bull market right now. When the bitcoin passes its current ATH and be better then we are going to ask what is famous right now? That's going to be the case and that's going to help people out.

It is not going to be easy but we are going to end up with a solution that would be important. This is why I have some changes in mind to AI, and that needs to be something that automates things that makes peoples life easier. So whatever AI automation is famous at that time, could be the important one.

If it happens in the world that everyone starts measuring value in bitcoins, it will definitely change the lives of many people, especially those who have invested in bitcoin even now. But as long as absolutely everything is subordinated to the dollar everywhere, someone will lose money and become disappointed in cryptocurrencies. As long as the dollar exists, cryptocurrencies are just speculation, which is without regulation.

I agree with you. Cryptocurrency has changed my life as well. And I didn't even realize that there was a possibility to get a little money from giveaways or contests. At the moment I participate in Fairspin web3quest and there it is very easy to get a part of the prize fund by doing easy quests. I never thought it was possible

That's going to "eventually" happen if you ask me. I know that it will probably not happen anytime soon but looking at the situation at hand right now I feel like we are talking about a situation where it could be based on trajectory we are on right now. Think about it, if we are doing such a good work in the past 10 years and grew this much, then it means we still have time to grow as well.

If we grow the same way (not in price but in popularity) for the next 10 years that means we are going to have hundreds of millions of people, maybe close to a billion people who are interested in bitcoin. Sure the % profit we make may not go as much, but at least we will have enough people that think in bitcoin terms when calculating something.

People who don't have any idea about crypto currency understand that investment means stock market, gold, land etc. people usually invest their money in all these other than cryptocurrency. But beyond these there is ample room for investment. Investing in crypto market is one of them. Nowadays people are now more interested in investing in raging currencies. Many people withdraw their money from the bank and invest that money in Bitcoin.
Apart from Bitcoin, there are other important coins that people are currently investing in, but right now people are relying on Bitcoin the most and investing in Bitcoin for the long term. I think investing in bitcoin is better than investing in gold or stock market. Because if you buy bitcoin with the same amount of money you buy gold and wait for a long time, then it is possible to earn several times more profit from bitcoin than from gold.

It is always the same story, if we listened to the majority of the people and what they think about everything that is new then we could have never emerged out of the caves in which our ancestors lived, if we want to make any progress in life then some sort of risks needs to be taken, and while this means that our chances of failure increase as we are doing something out of the norm, it is also true that if we happen to be right then our success will be many times bigger than what we could have obtained otherwise.

Absolutely right, as I have seen many of the people of these types that are always in search of taunting other people, even if they are at a successful place, but the conclusion is that we should not listen to others that much, that we may be take tension due to which , we can lose our successful percentage.

Cryptos like Decred are constantly building and have monthly dev reports.

We have recorded more success than failure in some cryptocurrency industries,  and many of those who blanketly call cryptocurrencies like bitcoin a scam are all doing so because of the ignorance of the truth and facts of the subject of bitcoin and cryptography which Satoshi introduced a couple of years ago.

With all the late development and invention in the industry,  one is certain that in the coming years, we are going to witness more positive development that will change a lot of things around our human existence, and a good example is the web3 metaverse development that has transformed the way human works and interact with the virtual environment all through the help of advanced technology and development that is aided by cryptocurrency and the blockchain technologies.

Crypto surely has made in the news and is a matter of discussion for most gatherings. Spread about it's knowledge was quicker than the internet. But it has failed to integrate to our lives and economy to the extent everyone believed it would. One of the main reason why it's a household topic of debate but not of use is it's association with scams and another reason would be the highly volatile and speculative prices. Scams had always been a thing and it has became easier with crypto. And as everyone and every company jumps into crypto creating different hypes, the crypto is considered more like a gambling platform than looking at its utility.

It has evolved a lot, specially I think the golden years of bitcoin or crypto was that 2017 all time high. Because for me that is the year wherein we really see a lot of projects booming and then people started to realized what crypto can bring. And so there is ICO->IEO and others and now P2E, Web3 and Metaverse. So it will continue to grow specially that we are approaching the bull run next year.

Interesting question. Though I would not find myself in a position where crypto tells me how successful I am or whether I am not, let us give this a try. I think crypto success should be measured in terms of gains over a period of time. The type of gain. For example, how did we end up earning that much profit? Whether it was through extensive trading, ups and downs, a lot of losses, and then recoveries, etc. Or whether it was simply by HOLDING your Bitcoin in cold storage. I am more interested in the second one. If you are a true holder and you have gained more than enough in the course of let's say 4 years or something then I think it's enough success to be called. Imagine, you did nothing but chose the right time to buy the crypto and just kept them safe in your hardware wallet. In the first case scenario, it's common to trade these days, it is purely based on skills, and has a short success rate.

Of course, I made money from cryptocurrencies, but first of all, I think I gained an identity because the world is no longer the old world for me... I am eternally grateful to God for meeting Satoshi and his idea of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the revolutionary movement for the new technological growth for financial freedom and that is the most important of satoshi creation of bitcoin. This is the main goal but the other side of it is beginning to take front burner of it which is investment aspect and financial benefit. Making money from crypto investment is good though because it has also given financial freedom and increased access to wealth especially for the youth but at the same time, we have to remember the main achievement like you have mentioned.

I find it hard to measure my success in cryptocurrency, because I am still holding most of the cryptocurrency I've bought. Until I've sold them and converted to fiat, they are still unclosed trading deals for me. As usually, I have some positions where currently I am on a loss, and some where I am in nice profit. Since cryptocurrency is not my main source of income, and I happen to have crypto from bounties, airdrops and etc, meaning I have invested only time, but got crypto that has a value, I can say that I am successful with crypto.

This is of course talking about assets, things you can invest into as anyone, because if we are talking about business, then we are talking about actually making money and growing, not only you would make more profit but your business would worth more as well if you decide to sell one day. Those things matter and I believe that many people miss those parts. So in the end, if you do not own a business, you should simply just end up investing into bitcoin.

Crypto won't work the way we want and we should always expect developments and improvements all the time as the technology continuously innovates. We should only learn how to adopt the changes and deal with it for us to be able to grab more opportunities that crypto could offer because if we will only stick to the traditional crypto methods, we will not grow as crypto users.
The innovations and developments aren'y negative things that we should fear off but rather opportunities that we have to learn and embrace. We should never get tired of learning as crypto has a lot to offer us only if we will be eager to enjoy all the opportunities that it could offer.

in investing in crypto certainly requires a hard struggle and not everyone is successful in crypto because there are losses and there are profits, but in my opinion the success of people investing in crypto is very difficult to measure but what is certain in my opinion is of the characteristics of a successful person in crypto are those who benefit from their investment in crypto.

may we all benefit from investing in crypto and be successful.

It's common for people to know that crypto is more than just another currency because it's also an investment. And a person's success on it is being determined on how much profit they get from trading, holding and selling it.

I don't know about to define Succesful measurement cause people always expect more than they have. this is why measurement has issue during measuring success. For me, crypto gave me a lots opportunities and helped me to earn but I'm still survive to consider myself successful.
Definition of it might varies per person but the common denominator is about how much we make from it. That's usually a no brainer thing to measure how successful a person is with his stay on this market.

Other than that, maybe about the contribution that he's given to specific projects that he's supporting.

Actually what I have to say in this theory is that Bitcoin as digital currency have it's way of success, if you invest in Bitcoin without been conscious or curious of the investment their is every tendency that you make some profit and success in cryptocurrency investment and especially when you invest in a coin that have a good reputation and good development, secondly if cryptocurrency is of the bullish season any other coins follows the same line of the bullish to make success, so therefore i will encourage people to invest with their spare money and the investment to enter into long run so that they will make a very big profit.

If by success you mean fulfilment, I can boldly say I've done very well for myself in that regard vis-a-vis Bitcoin and cryptos in general. However, if by success you mean razzmatazz and all that glamour; then I will say no. I'm one of the few who came into this industry empty handedly. No cash to invest, nothing whatsoever but my curiosity. That curiosity gave rise to series of researches that landed me in this forum. My first Bitcoin was earned here, and never bought. From then, I got into series of little investments here and there. The biggest win for me with Bitcoin is the variety of investments which it has thrown up for me in the crypto space. To say I can even do those investments and monitor them from anywhere I am, is the icing on the cake.

I don't really think that it requires rocket science for someone to determine and evaluate their success in cryptocurrencies from when they started their journey until now. A person who enters a financial market with their capital must have records of their trades, how much they are investing, how much they've gained over every trade, and how much they have lost if they have lost any trades, and these stats and records will allow them to determine their success.

If a person has a net profit in plus and has gained at least something with their trading, they are successful, and the level of your success depends on how much you've gained so far based on your capital and how many trades you've made so far. However, if you are in profit, you are successful in trading.

After investing we have to wait if we  If we can't wait then we will never be able to make a profit by investing in any coin. In cryptocurrency investment many people have their own mindset and understanding concerning cryptocurrency, but I believe that cryptocurrency is all about trust and understanding before you can invest in cryptocurrency, so those people who are tagging cryptocurrency and especially bitcoin as a scam, I will say they are myopic of what cryptocurrency is all about, this is one of the reasons while some countries government dislike cryptocurrency because they thought that cryptocurrency will be a measure of embezzlement of funds until when some countries understand the features of cryptocurrency and they began to implement a law of regulating bitcoin.

The definition of success is cryptos do the work for you , after countless times picking right coins to invest , You finally gain enough and stable return and your invesment will be growing slowly day by day maybe year per year .

And you will face situation when its slowly become your steady and passive income and you will be sitting mindlessly while your portofolio is up to the charts . Of course there is also the point where the price is slowly regressing but its your choice , you ready to take the risk for bigger opportunity !

In crypto trading, you build a good relationship. That's great, but of course, everyone has their own definition of success. For some people, it's money; for others, it's relationship or friendship; for others, it's knowledge. So we can't judge anyone based on their success. Because behind the success there are always personal reasons, and there is a question: why does this success matter to them the most? Nothing is gain or lose until they think about it, but whenever people face a huge scam or loss, they definitely feel bad and can't even say they are successful or happy about it. So different people experience things differently, even though the path we traveled was the same. So I believe people speak according to their own experience, so there is no need to correct them; everyone's opinion matters.

In my personal opinion, the measure of success in cryptocurrency is how much one has been able to earn from it and how much knowledge has been gained about crypto. Because at the end of the day everyone wants to see only the profit. But the measure of success for those who are new here is how much knowledge they have gained about crypto.

I agree that it is not all about the money. Many people might think that the true success will always depend on how much money you make, but the thing is, without proper knowledge, you will not be able to gain any amount of money. Knowledge is the fruit of every success in crypto space.

Aside from being knowledgeable, success in crypto can measure on how wide its use and how many people was able to adopt it. The more it is being accepted in more places around the world, the more success it gains.

crypto change the perspective of this world, people keep involving with it as it offers a significant earn opportunity to people but in smart way, as op said. So need to analysis before step taking any action on buying cryptocurrencies as you have a lots of choices here. I like to involve new projects which have potentiality to go ahead but established cryptocurrencies are safe enough to go with as successful investment. Individually our success in crypto depends on when we enter the crypto space, the crypto we invested in, bitcoin or altcoin, and the amount we were able to risk toward our investment.

So far so good, my crypto journey has been an interesting one. I wouldn't lie but say that crypto has changed the financial aspect of my life. I am gradually moving into the financial freedom it promises us if we are to invest in bitcoin. Thanks to crypto I don't look like what I passed through years back. I can now invest wisely with the amount I can afford to lose

I will do these things.

1. Document everything
2. Track the initial capital
3. Calculate the profit and loss in every month.
4. Find the new opportunities.

Certainly, the success of cryptocurrency can be measured in various ways, and it has indeed transformed the financial landscape. While some criticize it as a scam, the reality is that crypto has proven its worth. It facilitates cross-border payments efficiently and empowers peer-to-peer transactions. It has broadened investment horizons, moving beyond traditional assets like stocks, bonds, and gold.

The crypto platform has unlocked new avenues for smart and lucrative investments. Governments may have reservations, but the industry's growth is undeniable. In the coming years, we expect more favorable regulations.

Personally, I've witnessed cryptocurrency's impact. It has driven technological advancements, leading us toward Web3, metaverse, and decentralized finance (DeFi).

In this evolving landscape, Coinremitter, our crypto payment gateway, plays a crucial role. It facilitates seamless transactions and empowers businesses and individuals in their crypto journeys, all while adhering to industry standards. https://coinremitter.com/?utm_source=com&utm_medium=bitcointalks isn't just a part of this success story; it's an enabler of it.

Then start involving with crypto as an investment or traders and thus journey get start from here. Usually i try to do giving best effort to discover new things cause this sector is big and so many facilities are here, just need to know how procedure are works

If my earnings from crypto are sufficient to support my needs then it is my success. None of us are here only because we love technology. Our final goal is to make a profit from the industry that can change our lives. Some might say they will consider their crypto journey a success if they can learn the technology and contribute their efforts to the development of the industry but all of these are directly related to earning money at the end. Till now my crypto journey has reached a milestone and I expect this upcoming bull run will be enough to give me such a profit that I can sustain myself for the rest of my life.

Measuring success in the Crypto world is all about checking how long a. Cryptocurrency project had stayed in the market maintaining liquidity and attracting more customers to the project. There are new crypto projects that are doing well in the market with strong liquidity but sometimes many of these projects don't stay longer in the market due to so many reasons like poor team, less funds for ads, bad maintenance etc so we need to be very careful how we invest in new altcoin projects that are just entering the market and have not lasted longer than enough.

Since my knowledge and time well spent in crypto I can bostfully declare it as worth my time and money. I remember how it began right from the dust trying to do multiple jobs in order to meet my needs and wants now I can say a lot has changed and crypto is among that which made me achieve certain things that I could not have achieved in a short time and not under going such stress from day jobs.
I still go out for my daily job but not as difficult as it was for me to meet up with my needs and everything looks pretty good, made a lot of  profits from my investments 😊

Just keep venturing into Bitcoin as of this DIP before it hits ATH so I can be able to share some amazing success stories as well and I suggest you take this bold step with me to accumulate as much as you can so we both share our stories together

Of course, what comes to everyone’s mind is to measure their success in cryptocurrency - this is their well-being now and before entering this world. But I think it could be measured in this way, for example, buying a car or an apartment solely with profit from cryptocurrency trading, without investing fiat money.

Sincerely speaking bitcoin is a joy giver, I never thought I could even be a part of bitcoin. Some years back I heard about bitcoin but never knew what it was and how it was used but I was eager to know, and finally I am a part of bitcoin community. Thought I have not benefited much, but have aquared knowledge. What is accumulating bitcoin without the knowledge? If I start investing in bitcoin without the basic security aspect of it I might be scammed. And probably becomes angry of not learning about " not your key not your coin" so bitcoin is the best thing that ever happened to me.

It's common that each of us needs to learn to understand crypto more. But in terms of success, I think the common one is the desire to have at least 1 BTC because BTC is the best coin but at the same time the most expensive one. And I believe many are not that fortunate to acquire 1 BTC instantly. Apart from learning the process as you said, it's also important to trust it, so that we can continue.

As a beginner, we should also start with the basic and that is to use crypto as a currency, then proceed by turning some into an investment, and lastly trade it. What you are doing is right. Learning new things and staying updated will also help us to be aware if what are the new tactics of scammers.

At current time I believe I'm taking two benefits from crypto. Crypto are my trading and investing options. I have invested and actively trading on crypto, my success is determined by the number of USD pegged tokens I generate as profit from my trading and investing.
In another aspect, crypto has enabled me to buy goods and services from wide variety of marketplace that I was previously unable to access. Buying flight tickets and booking a hotel room. Buying domains and hosting. Buying games and gift codes. I don't have to worry about whether or not my bank and payment processor would work.

IMO, there's not that much difference about everyone's success being on this sector. We're all having some good experience of how this economy is moving on, the economy particular to Bitcoin and the whole crypto market.
But with those good experiences and success, I wonder how many from this majority have managed to lose a lot first from different obstacles. Like losing entirely because of not yet familiar in holding and trading and also from being a victim of common scams as a newbie.

If you only watch and don't do anything about it, you will surely miss some once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by promoting some good project and getting rewards for doing it. Sometimes when you hit the jackpot, you gonna get a decent prize and others have been lucky enough to change their lives positively forever because of their determination in their crypto investment after they have done the necessary work on their personal research in certain crypto projects. You can always find some successful stories based not just on promoting good bounties but on investing at the beginning of presale as well.

For sure there is always a sweet, better and interesting story to tell in every journey, as of success story in this crypto space every investors have what they went through and came out of it to be in a good position to tell about their journey as it is not always smooth and easy as many will think, so many regrets, losses and missed opportunities but in all after the rain comes shine.
Crypto has helped a lot and is still doing the same, every good investment deserves a good profit, so if an investor must have ventured into making this kind of investment then for sure there is something suppose to be sweet about his success story.
As many already made their success story some are also on the verge of doing same, as most investment requires a lengthy period of time to account for success and better profits.

crypto serves a lot of purpose and appreciating the way it was made and the minds behind it is one of the attractive forces for developers

those in tech, mathematicians, economists and even psychologists find purpose in learning and participating with crypto

while the very main thing that got me to crypto was its promise of a profit, i grew interested in its system and even the psychology behind it even here in this forum where we can analyze market trends based on the behavior of people is the most interesting to me

Like I said, all of us here for the profit. Even developers, mathematicians, economists and psychologist wants to learn about this industry because they saw massive growth and shift of economical institutions. If you talk about pre bitcoin time, then you will see people had little option to go against inflation, but now they are using crypto as a safe asset to fight it. Even some countries where their economies are facing hyperinflation are now using crypto to keep their local businesses ongoing.

There are several ways I measure my success in crypto. The first of it and for almost all would be the financial success. All of our real life prices are on fiat currency so it's not a surprise for people to measure the success in % of profit made on fiat investment. That's what brings most people to crypto.
But there are other learning associated with crypto that makes me realize understanding things such as economics and technology are success.
Setting up solo or pool mining to a new currency was a measure of success for me in the past but now it's more like finding and using a L1 or L2 network to take early bird profit for staking alts and stables is giving me sense of success.

I can boldly say that my success in Bitcoin can be measured by how much money this decentralized digital currency has been able to help save my long term investment when the value of my local fiat currency fell drastically due to governments unfavorable policies. Whereby resulting to funds which were initially saved in local fiat, after a long while to lose it's global market value due to inflation and high prices of goods as the price of dollar increases to local fiat, whereas those who might have had their funds saved in dollars, it remains static, while those who save in Bitcoin, it's value increases due to it's volatile nature.

My success in the market is lengthy, I've been so much grateful for the proper knowledge received from the market, not holding down from taking bold steps to continue investing in projects. The volatility of the market is necessary, everyone have an idea of the market as long as the person in question is a trader. The market doesn't follow the commands issued out by top whales, rather it moved according to the present condition of the market. Crypto have played two major roles in my life. I've watched and observed the market, it becomes favorable as long you're not desperate and always wait for the market to come to you and not you going to the market.

I measure my success in crypto universe by the fact it's helping me financially since I started adopting it as investment and as a side hustle. I can't say I'm the magnate of cryptocurrencies, who completely changed his life, but I'm thankful it's helping me to keep some money for the future, besides allowing me to pay part of my daily expenses. I consider this a success already, although I still hope to continue improving within time.

And if I can help someone else through sharing my personal experience, I would say them to get away from uncertain and high risk altcoins, and to focus their money in Bitcoin currency. Moreover, don't expect to get rich on this industry overnight. Progress takes years to be achieved, so you have to take into consideration you will stay on this area for several years until solidifying consistent returns, unless you are already a wealthy person who has a lot of money to invest since the very beginning, what unfortunatelly, isn't the case of most of us.

Take advantage of every earnings opportunities you may find in this market. If you earn in altcoins, exchange into BTC, and hold most coins you can thinking on future increasements in price.

Many metaverse-based crypto projects have failed on the market. I think that's because they were too early in developing the idea of a metaverse and didn't see current technological developments.

metaverse lacking behind because so many project so far doesn't really imlpement metaverse, so many game based project just rereleasing crappy mobile game rebranded with NFT integration and call it metaverse while really it isnt.
moreover, what truly defines metaverse anyway im still kinda confused, even meta (formerly facebook) are gaining difficulties making metaverse popular the VR they produced despite has been giving significant improvement toward the devices overall still seemed to be something experimental even there are not many people fancy it making it super niche market for meta thats also the reason why their stock plummeted.
i guess you are right that we are still in development and really early stage of metaverse because overall these metaverse just doesn't really live up to the expectation.
even decentraland and sandbox isn't really that popular.

It is necessary to investigate first because if we leave the project without knowing about it then we will regret in future when we see the success of people who invest in those projects. All projects are not scam and every project is not trustworthy therefore keep in mind that first know about the project to avoid regret in coming days.

Those who are expert can easily know about project so they can easily know that which project is scame and which is trustworthy because they read all the details according to projects and take a review of the whitepaper so they usually take an accurate decision.

I would like to put emphasis on this statement right here

I always see a lot of people saying even boasting that they have acquired a lot of different coins and they feel that those altcoins are gonna be successful and even be as massive as bitcoin and while I do believe that diversifying your portfolio is a good move, over-diversification might lead to even more destruction

Even if you just have bitcoin as long as you have bought low and sold high, you can make profit and see success from your investment

success in crypto currency is a big coin dev , owner big market or a very large exchanger marketcapt. for example ETH dev is definitely successful and wealthy. the founder and owner of the binance exchanger is definitely wealthy.
if  not a dev, not an exchanger owner, the measure of success will have different benchmarks and standards.

I don't know what you consider success but I don't see success from any other person's perspective. my success comes when I'm being enough to dream big and it's coming through from where I expect it, I consider success as doing something that no one else has done.

Although all this might boil down to one thing having financial freedom but if this is term how many altcoin I have accumulated I don't see myself as successful because this coins are volatile and can reverse and make you broke in hours.

That's right, sir. Many rooms are capable of returning good returns as long as we take a little time to review before going in and buying it.

I've not heard any success in cryptocurrency for now because I have not reached my pace.
There is somewhere I intend to reach before I can proudly way to myself that I am successful as a cryptocurrency investor and traders.
There are people that had been in the market for a very long time and they can always brag to themselves that they have actually made reasonable profits from cryptocurrency. I am hoping to reach that level.

Similarly for me, Bitcoin and the idea of cryptocurrency has widen my mind. There was a need to take out the middleman, hence Bitcoin was created. This lead to asking why there was a need and digging further, I learnt how we are all being watched and controlled by the government even through the banks. Aside this, I’ve a lot of things internationally because of Bitcoin. It’s not necessarily about how much we’ve made, the knowledge is worth celebrating too.

I personally measure the level of success in cryptocurrencies by looking at the coins that are invested in that have high fundamentals and totality in the crypto market so that the coins can survive and compete at least in the top 10 CMC and of course have a high exchange which can give us the opportunity to big profit.

And with regards to profit, many for sure have suffered from loss due to unpredictable price movements and wrong decisions but be sure to learn atleast and to look forward with what's next for cryptocurrencies.
making a success in cryptocurrency is a something of personal and I understand that for you to make in the success in cryptocurrency is basically on the kind of investment you do in in cryptocurrency so the success is being determined based on the profit you make for any cryptocurrency, let us not contradict cryptocurrency investment and the success because there is every possibility that you might invest in cryptocurrency and you get a negative during the investment why sometimes too you will invest in cryptocurrency and you also receive a positivity instead of negativity so it depends and that is why we said cryptocurrency is unpredictable

Everything has pros and cons and people who are against crypto may not know about crypto, they are consumed by false information circulating in society regarding crypto. In my area there was news circulating that crypto was an online gambling site and anyone who was on it would be arrested because gambling in my country is illegal. For me, crypto is a renewable investment tool and crypto is a form of technological development.

success in crypto currency is a big coin dev , owner big market or a very large exchanger marketcapt. for example ETH dev is definitely successful and wealthy. the founder and owner of the binance exchanger is definitely wealthy.
if  not a dev, not an exchanger owner, the measure of success will have different benchmarks and standards.
The last thing that you said is correct. And this why the OP is here because he knows that a lot of users here are not like those you have mentioned. Since you know it already, then why won't you gave your own response? As I or others here are also curious if what have you achieved so far?

For me I'm not having an ambition to own my very own crypto or to own a crypto exchange. But my ultimate goal so far is if I can clear all my debts. It was actually my wife's debts Zzz... But I'm not totally angry with her since some of it still benefited me. You will say " but it's only just a debt? " No it isn't simple as that for ours, since the amount is huge if totaled all and then our income is only limited to be able to pay promptly.

We can measure our success in cryptocurrency when we have achieved almost 75% of our goal of going into cryptocurrency trading or investment. There are people that have so much goals in cryptocurrency and that might be very hard to accomplish but that would not be a problem when we are close to achieving more of what we have been longing to get in cryptocurrency.
My dream is to make nothing less than 2 million dollars from cryptocurrency trading and investment.

It is a fact that a person will admire only if he find it profitable therefore one will not talk about cryptocurrency if he loss money through it due to lack of experience but people never agree to receive their faults but share bad notion about crypto.

Cryptocurrency can be a good source of income and is not gambling but those will surely consider it as a gambling who do not know about it and unseeingly pick coins without determination of its reality. People also wants to earn without investment but in present era you will get money by using money.

Likewise me crypto currency has changed my life and thinking faculty. I think about bitcoin and nothing else. I think after God the best thing that happened to humanity is blockchain technology BTC precisely. A graduate without knowing bitcoin is like who didn't learn anything atol in school. Because Bitcoin is the future.

How I measured my success on crypto is the knowledge and understanding I have gottteen from bitcoin and the forum members who has help in building me up and discovering the better sid of me which I never thought I could do. In life we are bound to learning new things and it add our experience. later in the future people's understanding would be appreciated by whom you have also thought. That is the circle of life. You help today and receive help from another person tomorrow or get awarded for what you have done.

People have or have had different perspectives regarding Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general and this thing will stay, we can't change everyone's perspective and to be honest, it's their loss if they don't find and understand the reality about cryptocurrencies and how beneficial they can be for an individual if they use them in the right way. This is never going to harm cryptocurrencies or their adoption or anything else.

When Bitcoin was getting viral newly, and not a lot of people knew about it, there were a lot of rumors about it, even news channels and other TV shows tried their best to show Bitcoin as something negative so that people wouldn't use it, but that didn't stop it from spreading, and look at it today. Those who tried to show it in a negative light back then regret their decisions and thinking today.

Making such money may not come that easy. Even if you haven't made such money, you can still see yourself as being successful in the space if you keep growing in knowledge about crypto on daily basis. I never made much in this space but I'm always glad for the knowledge I gain each day in the space as I learn one or two things on dialy basis. I believe this knowledge will help me to achieve my dream in the space sooner or later.

I personally believe that cryptocurrency has changed my life by providing unique opportunities for investment and financial growth. Despite initial doubts and negative opinions from some people, I have seen cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin become a primary asset and provide stable income. I have made mistakes along the way, but the valuable experience I gained has shaped my investment strategy, which revolves around long-term asset holding.

As far as I remember the first time I played crypto most of the projects were only on the ETH network and after receiving payments from bounties and airdrops they were only converted to ETH. but currently L1 and L2 networks have developed rapidly such as BSC polygon aptos TON arbitrum etc. I think technological progress in crypto is the success of all of us.

Though I will not say that I have benefitted much in crypto but many persons have benefited immensely, the crypto market has been in its progressive state recently due to the rise in bitcoin price, for me I only benefited now due to my little holdings in my wallet, so no matter what, if you has been in crypto for the past 2 - 3 years, there is no way such a person will not have benefited if he follow the right track which is investing continuously with caution, there are many opportunities surrounding crypto ranging from investment, airdrop and so on, that's to say that as far as one is into crypto, he or she must benefit in one of the aforementioned.

Traders and holders are the only ones who have benefited from crypto. There are two ways if invest in crypto. One is that if you are an investor, you must have the mind to hodl and not be a panic seller or one who sells because of little profits. The second one is a trader. Since one has decided to participate in day-to-day trading, one needs to learn about it well. So that he/she would know when to enter and exit the market since trading requires timing the market, but i won't suggest anyone be involved in it.

Investing in Bitcoin has changed many people's lives and I myself can tell you how I was before investing in Bitcoin and how much I have profited after investing in Bitcoin. That's how fortunes of many people have been opened by investing in Bitcoin. In investing in Bitcoin, we must be patient and gain enough knowledge about investing in Bitcoin. We must have a long-term plan and be patient when investing in Bitcoin. Sometimes it is seen that many big investors lose patience in Bitcoin, so patience is very important. When we invest in anything, we must be patient. If we don't get success in bitcoin investment once or twice, we should not lose our patience.

The existence of cryptocurrency in the world has helped in so many ways. Although I can't truly measure my success through finance but it has rely help in some way. It has taught me how to interact with some social media and alot how to manage being greediness. Although I'm not long in the space, so I'm still hoping for a good reward for my patience and commitment.

I think you can perform better in this world because of your mistakes. Every person has been able to realize on their own how much progress they have made after coming to cryptocurrency. Here some people lost but there ignorance was to blame. Those who try and are able to understand Bitcoin better will surely appreciate these advantages. I personally don't know what achievement is meant by success but I am strongly motivated to take myself to that place according to the possibility of this space.

Do you think that most government officials are not smart to know that crypto is the way forward it just all a scheme to try to get in control, they make everything thing look like a script and yet go behind stage and buy some for themselves.

Success in crypto should be in terms of how much value you have stored in and how much you are holding, if crypto is going to be the next most valuable asset and I mean bitcoin then our success should be in terms of ownership not in making profits by buying and selling.

It is very important we look for good tokens to buy and keep our money there while waiting for the bull market to commence.
It is very important also for us to consider risk management so that we don't invest what we know we can't afford to lose.
Crypto market is big and we can earn from the market if we have know how to search for good tokens that are going to be profitable for us in ao g term basis so that we can ride the token and make good profits from them.

I can't explain all how cryptocurrency has helped my life, but definitely it's has been my only means of survival. I'm a student and I depend solely on the little commission my family gives me on a monthly basis but at some point it became very little compared to the challenges we face as students in school. Since I knew about cryptocurrency I have been achieving a greater height.

Long term ago I mined some shit coin that was launched on binance and later sold them for cash and since then I have been chasing different crypto currencies now I'm using my earnings to accumulate bitcoin in my Electrum account and after then I will also use the profit to do some greater goals. So basically, crypto has been a means of survival. And lastly I can't forget how I recieved different money from my cousin who is outside the country via bitcoin as means of payment, for long we have been facing the problem of receiving directly from him but since I know how cryptocurrencies works we don't long stress.
