Most times it’s not a good sign when newbies start their first post with a guide; it gives forum members wrong idea about the operator of that account sometimes it might be viewed as someone who ones had an account and now he’s here with a different account or probably an account that will soon fall for plagiarism since they just came into the forum without going through the rule they instantly start directing newbies like themselves… You should enjoy your days and ask as much relevant question as you can get about bitcoin and not the other way around, although having a newbie rank does not always mean the operator is a tabula rasa when it comes to crypto.

Btw, welcome to the forum before you continue your activity here I’ll advice you take your time to navigate around and get a good idea of what the forum is about and what each boards are meant for and possibly go through the rules of the forum.

My question is, why did you make the thread self-moderated? Is there any reason for that? Because I don’t see any use in you making the thread self-moderated, it’s useless to me.


Your post is not explanatory, I believe you should be learning and not teaching. The write-up that you just did is not really explanatory. If you are creating a thread about how to guide beginners, then you should have made it more explanatory. I don’t think any beginner will understand or learn anything serious from the thread that you just created. How will you want to explain the basics of cryptocurrency, and you think just a few posts that you made is enough? You didn’t talk about the necessary things that newbies are supposed to know before joining cryptocurrency.

The major reason I see why users create self moderated threads is to moderate spam on the thread, this comes behind setting house rules like limiting certain users from commenting.

I was wondering what OP must be thinking before making this post. I think OP should make out time to read through the platform rules and regulations so as to be on the safe side. I was curious if OP really knows he or she is a newbie here to have made this and possibly other members would think OP is here not to learn but to start getting merit without wanting to learn more about the platform. OP should have known that first engagement matters when it comes to activities of this nature on this platform.

The platform is always open to anyone who is willing to learn more about it and I will advise OP to fell free to ask questions as an it bothers his or her curiosity here because that is what would steer up more actions from Members to helping OP out by assisting OP to learn more.

But that's something strange in my opinion. Most beginners usually don't know how to create their own moderated threads. I also know this after joining the forum for a long time and until now I have never created a self-moderated thread. Could it be that he already knows that there is a lot of spam on this forum?

OP I think you should be learning than trying to be too fast, this forum has a lot to teach you beyond just getting merit. If your aim is to get merits and start making money then you will not learn enough to get to that level and may do it the hard way, take out time study, understand the dynamics of this forum and then you will benefit more than you are aiming at now as there's more you can bet from here.

The reason I'm stating all that which I mentioned above is because your post is just too basic and almost has no quality but then it could be considered since you are a newbie, if you have studied well enough your topic is such that would convey more quality than it is doing now, also take out some time to read the rules and guidelines of this forum so as to guide you alright but then I must commend your effort to wanting to educate others but whatever is worth doing should he done well.

This is funny how AI shit writers register an account and start creating their first post using chatgpt. Is it that much easy buddy? What makes you think that you will get away with it? Of course, it becomes easy to create an account and start posting without knowing how to use AI. But it's not easy to get away with it. You should know that someone will catch you at some point.

A friendly suggestion from me is to stop using these AI shit to publish content in this forum. You won't go any longer with this. You will end up getting red tags for this and won't be able to earn merits either.

It is barely possible to see a new account give us a guide about cryptocurrencies which we all know regarding this matter and as we can see, it is an AI-generated post.

who knows, one possible reason is so OP could delete posts that will call his thread AI-generated, I ran his post on three different AI content checkers and three of them showed that the content OP posted contains AI-generated content.

After opening the account you first created such a post and reading your post it seems that you took the help of Chat GBT to create your post. First post in forum is also new topic which I would say is impossible for a new member to create such a post. As a new forum member you should first follow the forum basics or general rules. If you follow the general rules of the forum, you will understand how to post, what kind of posts can cause problems with your account. Do not endanger your account by posting or posting with the help of AI technology.

Just go straight to the conclusion. Your first post started with self-moderated on the first day after a few hours of you being on the forum.

OP gave some vital point of information for anyone who is working to start learning more about crypto currency but it would have been better OP had mentioned his source or reference to further research for those who finds it interesting to continue with the information that they have assimilated here. This would have been better and also saving OP the stress of being tagged for plagiarism which is against the platform platform policy.

OP i would have applaud you a little for your own little way of giving this contributions if you had understand the need to how a reference link is required for more proper explanation and understandings, you can agree with me that this that you've just presented isn't what a beginner needs alone to get started, you just phrased a little aspect of what's being required without further explanation about them in details.

You did so well to bring such thread to this many crypto newbies, it will be of good help to many of us, but so sorry to ask you this question, please, how did you know all this? Are you already a crypto currency investor (Bitcoin)? If not how would you know this, you just created your account and start advice people, if you are not a Bitcoin investor and you have said all this that means your post has nothing interesting.
You have said well @DubemIfedigbo001, OP is not supposed to teach for now, he/she needs more knowledge before he/she can teach others about Bitcoin.

A beginner explains the basics of crypto, even though he is a very beginner.

WOW!! Once again a newbie account is here teaching others the basics of cryptocurrency and expects us to applaud his efforts. He just created an account and in less than an hour he came up with a post teaching other newbies the basics of cryptocurrency, how are we even sure it’s not a copy paste post? OP who should be in his learning phase suddenly proves he was born with crypto knowledge except if it’s an expert behind this account who have already gone past the learning process.

Your idea is good, but what you have done is wrong. I think you want to give knowledge to people like other people do. But unfortunately, I don't think you are anything other than spammers because you have performed all the activities wrongly, which is condemned under forum rules. If you did it unknowingly, then next time it will be better if you don't take any action against these terms and rules. Any way, your biggest mistake is that your post is written by AI, which means you are just pretending to be a spammer and you don't get anything. So if you don't have any knowledge, then why are you spamming by creating easy posts with AI and copy-pasting? On the contrary, I wanted to be a participant in the discussion on learning knowledge instead of creating a thread. But anyway, now you should decide whether you did all this unknowingly or if you did it for merit.

Maybe the Op doesn't know that AI posts can be detected on the forum here, but it is obvious that the Op has an alt account on the forum. I am sure he created this thread hoping he is going to be merited. How will he create an account, the first thing that will come to your mind is to create a thread on how to guide beginners. If the Op is truly a beginner, he will have to go through the forum first to see what the forum is all about, and he will be starting by making comments and not just jumping into creating thread.

The Op used AI to generate the post, how is he going to add the source link? The Op didn't create the thread because he wanted to help the forum member's he created the thread just because of merit. If the post has been properly analyzed, then it will have been very useful to newbies trying to join cryptocurrency. I am sure the Op will end up being banned for plagiarism or AI posters.
