~~~
Most times it’s not a good sign when newbies start their first post with a guide; it gives forum members wrong idea about the operator of that account sometimes it might be viewed as someone who ones had an account and now he’s here with a different account or probably an account that will soon fall for plagiarism since they just came into the forum without going through the rule they instantly start directing newbies like themselves… You should enjoy your days and ask as much relevant question as you can get about bitcoin and not the other way around, although having a newbie rank does not always mean the operator is a tabula rasa when it comes to crypto.
Btw, welcome to the forum before you continue your activity here I’ll advice you take your time to navigate around and get a good idea of what the forum is about and what each boards are meant for and possibly go through the rules of the forum.
My question is, why did you make the thread self-moderated? Is there any reason for that? Because I don’t see any use in you making the thread self-moderated, it’s useless to me.
Conclusion:
Starting your cryptocurrency journey can be thrilling. Just remember, the market can be volatile, so invest cautiously and keep learning. The world of cryptocurrencies awaits!
Your post is not explanatory, I believe you should be learning and not teaching. The write-up that you just did is not really explanatory. If you are creating a thread about how to guide beginners, then you should have made it more explanatory. I don’t think any beginner will understand or learn anything serious from the thread that you just created. How will you want to explain the basics of cryptocurrency, and you think just a few posts that you made is enough? You didn’t talk about the necessary things that newbies are supposed to know before joining cryptocurrency.
The major reason I see why users create self moderated threads is to moderate spam on the thread, this comes behind setting house rules like limiting certain users from commenting.
I was wondering what OP must be thinking before making this post. I think OP should make out time to read through the platform rules and regulations so as to be on the safe side. I was curious if OP really knows he or she is a newbie here to have made this and possibly other members would think OP is here not to learn but to start getting merit without wanting to learn more about the platform. OP should have known that first engagement matters when it comes to activities of this nature on this platform.
The platform is always open to anyone who is willing to learn more about it and I will advise OP to fell free to ask questions as an it bothers his or her curiosity here because that is what would steer up more actions from Members to helping OP out by assisting OP to learn more.
But that's something strange in my opinion. Most beginners usually don't know how to create their own moderated threads. I also know this after joining the forum for a long time and until now I have never created a self-moderated thread. Could it be that he already knows that there is a lot of spam on this forum?
It was a mystery and only he knew the reason. But it seems like he's trying to contribute to the forum, that's a good intention.
OP I think you should be learning than trying to be too fast, this forum has a lot to teach you beyond just getting merit. If your aim is to get merits and start making money then you will not learn enough to get to that level and may do it the hard way, take out time study, understand the dynamics of this forum and then you will benefit more than you are aiming at now as there's more you can bet from here.
The reason I'm stating all that which I mentioned above is because your post is just too basic and almost has no quality but then it could be considered since you are a newbie, if you have studied well enough your topic is such that would convey more quality than it is doing now, also take out some time to read the rules and guidelines of this forum so as to guide you alright but then I must commend your effort to wanting to educate others but whatever is worth doing should he done well.
Another AI Shit Detected
This is funny how AI shit writers register an account and start creating their first post using chatgpt. Is it that much easy buddy? What makes you think that you will get away with it? Of course, it becomes easy to create an account and start posting without knowing how to use AI. But it's not easy to get away with it. You should know that someone will catch you at some point.
A friendly suggestion from me is to stop using these AI shit to publish content in this forum. You won't go any longer with this. You will end up getting red tags for this and won't be able to earn merits either.
Just my guess --perhaps OP has an alternate account and commenting on this thread to hunt merit.
It is barely possible to see a new account give us a guide about cryptocurrencies which we all know regarding this matter and as we can see, it is an AI-generated post.
It is very obvious, right?
who knows, one possible reason is so OP could delete posts that will call his thread AI-generated, I ran his post on three different AI content checkers and three of them showed that the content OP posted contains AI-generated content.
here are the three AI content detectors I used and the result if you check OP's post if it contains AI-generated text.
hivemoderation.com = likely to contain AI Generated Text
gptzero.me = There is a 54% probability this text was entirely written by AI
copyleaks.com = AI Content Detected
After opening the account you first created such a post and reading your post it seems that you took the help of Chat GBT to create your post. First post in forum is also new topic which I would say is impossible for a new member to create such a post. As a new forum member you should first follow the forum basics or general rules. If you follow the general rules of the forum, you will understand how to post, what kind of posts can cause problems with your account. Do not endanger your account by posting or posting with the help of AI technology.
Conclusion:
Starting your cryptocurrency journey can be thrilling. Just remember, the market can be volatile, so invest cautiously and keep learning. The world of cryptocurrencies awaits!
Just go straight to the conclusion. Your first post started with self-moderated on the first day after a few hours of you being on the forum.
I will remember the message you mentioned in the conclusion of this topic because being careful and continuing to learn is capital in investing. I need advice from good people like you in adding to my investment knowledge in crypto.
My conclusion for you, zumlimodre, is that you need to be careful. Avoid activities that harm yourself in your activities.
Many of the suggestions you bring to the topic have been made by other people.
It should not be to you. The op has just shown that he's not smart enough with this stunt he's pulled. How can a noob who has this post as his first know so much to even "guide" other newbies? Except this just an easy way to calling attention to yourself, I see no reason for this, op.
If you were so knowledgeable, at least you would have deigned to check if this your basic knowledge of crypto has been helpfully supplied by another or are you just another of the many alts of a user who enjoys littering the forum by spamming? Or is it just that you can't make use of the search engine? Way to go though, atleast you've joined the club of noobs who don't start with " hey I'm new"..
OP gave some vital point of information for anyone who is working to start learning more about crypto currency but it would have been better OP had mentioned his source or reference to further research for those who finds it interesting to continue with the information that they have assimilated here. This would have been better and also saving OP the stress of being tagged for plagiarism which is against the platform platform policy.
My question is, why did someone register a new account only to leave this AI-generated garbage post? What is the purpose of this and similar topics and who is it intended for?
I have nothing against AI, but only if it is used to arrive at quality information or conclusions. What the OP offered is pure spam.
OP i would have applaud you a little for your own little way of giving this contributions if you had understand the need to how a reference link is required for more proper explanation and understandings, you can agree with me that this that you've just presented isn't what a beginner needs alone to get started, you just phrased a little aspect of what's being required without further explanation about them in details.
Next time you could do better by giving a recommendation link that properly explain everything needed, if not all but many, and also learn to explain in details, a newbie will need two things first, learning about the forum and bitcoin, maybe you could grab some helpful threads from beginners and help encyclopedia https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5364418.0
I admire to courage and desire to contribute with your limited information. I will advise you to keep learning and refrain from teaching for now. You don't just come into a forum as big as this and start teaching others, NO. you've to learn from other people's threads, understand the forum properly, contribute to meaningful topics around the forum and from your engagement, you'll know how to properly structure your topic to be able to transmit useful information to the well informed and  reputable audience we've here in the forum.
What you did is called spamming ascams there are many similar this here in the forum and better informing ones at that. Next time you want to post a topic, use this search element
Type the topic of interest in the search box, and  click the search button to filter the form database and get check if there's a similar topic. If yes, you just take your idea as a contribution to the already existing topic.
You can still search on google by typing
Code:
<Type the topic > on bitcointalk.org
You'll see related topics or exact topic. If none, you can go ahead with the topic creation.
You can also check for the topic on ninjastic.space
You did so well to bring such thread to this many crypto newbies, it will be of good help to many of us, but so sorry to ask you this question, please, how did you know all this? Are you already a crypto currency investor (Bitcoin)? If not how would you know this, you just created your account and start advice people, if you are not a Bitcoin investor and you have said all this that means your post has nothing interesting.
You have said well @DubemIfedigbo001, OP is not supposed to teach for now, he/she needs more knowledge before he/she can teach others about Bitcoin.
A beginner explains the basics of crypto, even though he is a very beginner.
Will other beginners believe it and this is even his first post on this forum.
Is that a strange thing? Most beginners just ask how to post on this forum, how to do this and that. But beginners this time already know completely about crypto and other definitions.
You need to provide the source so that it doesn't seem like you are a cheater.
Introduction:
Welcome, Bitcointalk newcomers! This topic is your quick guide to understanding cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
Cryptocurrency Defined:
Cryptocurrency is digital money secured by cryptography. Bitcoin, created in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, is the most famous example.
Blockchain Basics:
Blockchain is a distributed database that stores transaction information. It ensures transparency and security in cryptocurrency transactions.
Getting Started:
Wallet Creation: Choose a cryptocurrency wallet – online, mobile, or hardware – for storing and managing your assets.
Obtaining Cryptocurrency: Use exchanges, peer-to-peer platforms, or ATMs to acquire cryptocurrency, considering fees and verification.
Security Measures: Protect your assets with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
Learning and Research: Keep up-to-date with market trends, news, forums, and discussions on Bitcointalk.
Active Engagement: Participate in the community, ask questions, and share knowledge.
Conclusion:
Starting your cryptocurrency journey can be thrilling. Just remember, the market can be volatile, so invest cautiously and keep learning. The world of cryptocurrencies awaits!
That's better you have helping newbies in crypto but If that was in explanation then it would be better for them to understand perfectly as they have more things to catch and they have more to understand about crypto to get to the top opportunities of earning in the world of cryptocurrency.
Understanding the crypto strategies is important for a user/trader to follow, and this can be learned through personal experience, if we say that we can trade and we can make ourselves a better trader but we are not following any strategy and are working without strategy then it would be almost impossible to make and count ourselves a good trader. Unfortunately, we are just looking for the other's call and cannot make and develop our scenarios.
