Five years ago sounds nice. That way, I'd start mining bitcoins along with the rest of the early adopters in 2009/2010.

Are we allowed to go to the future? I'll go in 2100 or 2200 or even a few more centuries in the future, will there still be Bitcoin at that time ;D?

If we are only allowed to go in the past, I would go in the 50's or 60's : WWII was over and you could actually raise a family with one salary in the states and have a good life; there was a fear of a nu.clear war but now that I know it won't happened, it's fine, except if my presence in the 1950's changes everything because of the Butterfly Effect ;D

Use a time machine for bitcoins? What a waste!

Is there anyone thinking of preventing an accident or taking someone to see a doctor, so a person would still be here?

Yup. You can't take things like lottery numbers or sports results with you and go back in time and expect everything to occur exactly the same as it did before. You might win the first lottery, but things will diverge more and more and the numbers after that would be pretty much worthless.

I know one married couple who would most likely never have met had one of them never turned their head around at exactly the right moment. Now they have two children together.

This year, a few days back. Win lottery/at some bet services. Invest the money:

- 30% in BTC for:
       - 1/2 development type charity (training, crowdsource projects)
       - 1/5 small but well paid projects for constructive posters on this site
       - 1/5 usable, friendly "Why/where/with whom/how to ... with BTC" site for absolute beginners.
       - 1/10 savings
-30 % health
-30 % family
-10 % - reserved for "unexpected"

Which is why I have 14 followers and received a good amount of positive feedback for this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUw_WBTmYb4

And why someone sent me $150 and someone asked for me to play at his wedding after viewing that video.  I'd say some people are starting to like it.

And check out this one from 2012.  It was way beyond my work for that time.  Not all of it is great but there are some parts that came out very well.  Skip to 3:30 ish and there for a pretty awesome part IMO.

See?  He has no clue what a good guitar player sounds like.  He refuses feedback from those around him, and makes up imaginary events to boost his ego.

His mom told him he was special one too many times.   ;)

So you're actually creating this music because you think it is good? I just want it clarified before I pass judgement on you.
One constructive thing I can say though that's not about the quality of the music, but rather of the sound, is that I've never EVER heard a more headache-inducing guitar tone.

First dank, you are considered the forum idiot.  I am considered the forum scam buster.   ;)

Second, your concert will never happen, and you have never violated any physical law.  I'll put 500btc on that concert bet right now.

Finally, you gave your soul to squall, remember?   You have less spiritual power than I do, and I don't believe in a soul.

I also want to point out, dank could have a million dollars next month if he could actually defy gravity, even once.

Why is he begging for loans if he is able to earn $1,000,000?  Why is he only able to defy gravity when he is shooting up and no one else is around?

Randi has said that few unsuccessful applicants ever seriously consider that their failure to perform might be due to the nonexistence of the power they believe they possess.[8]

So you're actually creating this music because you think it is good? I just want it clarified before I pass judgement on you.
One constructive thing I can say though that's not about the quality of the music, but rather of the sound, is that I've never EVER heard a more headache-inducing guitar tone.

Tune yourself to the universe and you will hear the beauty in my music.

You're talking about yourself vod.  I have already defied gravity and seeing physics violated many times, I know damn well I can and will fly at that concert.

1. BTC will be worthless after the concert, we will enter heaven after singularity.
2. Acknowledging that my soul is burdened by a debt is not me relinquishing my consciousness.
3. My hand gravitated towards the ceiling a couple weeks ago, consciously.  I have flown in dreams a dozens times probably and can do so on command.  If your mind can create that happening in a dream, it can in life.
4. Your judgments apply to no one but yourself vod.  You calling me the forum idiot is only applicable to yourself.  Your opinion is subjective.

He has admitted to doing drugs while his mind was developing - odds are he has a mental illness and actually believes what he posts.

Originally, the "One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge" restricted applicants to those that had an established social precense.  This was to weed out those with mental illness.  (TRUE STORY!)  http://archive.wired.com/science/discoveries/news/2007/01/72482

But now, anyone can apply.  Dank could apply tomorrow, but it would finally prove he was just a normal, albeit brain damaged, person.

It is general consensus that you are the forum idiot - after a certain point, a sane person realizes if many people believe something, it might be true.  This is more proof you are mentally ill.

So, since you can't afford 500 btc, let's knock it down 1/500th.  Let's each put up a bitcoin and you win if you have a concert where 2,000 people (1/500th of one million) come to hear you play.  Anytime in 2014.  You game?

I didn't go to church myself until late 2012.  It was an awesome experience though, it was a black church which I didn't realize until I had entered the service.  I sat next to an older African man who had some awesome clothes and rings/necklaces.  Not like fancy bling.  When they started singing a song at the end we all held hands and he held my hand quite tightly, I could feel a connection to him, he seemed very spiritual.  I complemented on his outfit at the end and he was happy.

Then an older African lady came over to us and when the service was over she said, "It was nice to finally meet you all, especially you," pointing towards me.  Sorta blew my mind at the time but I suppose she could feel who I was.  I was also wearing trippy pants so that probably hinted something.

It was great.  Church is nice, there is a definite spirit present and hearing word of god/love is very empowering.

But yeah, anyways, I feel that religions should be a little more open to possibilities.  Heaven is definitely a realm where anything is possible, you can have any girl in the world, even the universe.

Moreso, you can fall in love with any girl.  Nothing beats falling deep in love with a girl, except maybe making love with said girl. :)

Ah, bright future ahead for us.

So to get it straight, your idea of heaven is every person on this forum banging your mother in every position possible, while you eat her out next to joey and his mom?

That's what "infinite dimensions" means, dank.

You are free to have such beliefs - I'm going to believe it's just your imagination, albeit a sick one.    ;)

I was going to refrain from posting, but you clearly need an egodeath experience.  So here we go vod.

You see, when one acts out of love unconditionally, others are attracted to them.  Some call this the law of attraction.  So by that logic, while you may go bang my mom in heaven, she will not have a thing to do with you because you're an asshole.  But you're mom will be seeking me because I made her son a better person.  Even though I am not going to be a belligerent asshole and tell someone that I'm going to fuck their mom.

And this is why you're ego.  And this is why I'm god, vod.

Have a good night.

That's not what I said vod.  You can go bang anyone you want in heaven.  But they're not going to want to bang you back, in their reality, because you're a dick.

That simple.

Well, I hope you have a good sleep.  When you wake up tomorrow, maybe you make a choice to not shoot up, and face the day sober? Then maybe you can further define your idea of heaven.  Is your idea more real than another person's idea?

Is each person allowed to enjoy themselves with positive experiences like you claimed?   Do we all share the same reality?

Or do we each have our own reality like you claimed (i.e. dreams/imagination)?  Your mother rejecting me in my reality would not be a positive experience, so she would enjoy sex with me in my heaven.  If she doesn't want me, does that mean she goes to a different heaven and I never meet the real her, just the person I believe she would be?  If we all have different heavens, are best friends able to choose to go to the same heaven?  What if I think someone is my best friend but they don't think so?

As a self proclaimed ego god, you need to clarify what we should expect.

Or are we all gods of our own heaven?   How is that different than my falling asleep and experiencing my own reality where I am a god and can do anything?

I am sincerely looking forward to this conversation tomorrow.   :)

The only time drugs were ever shot up into me was at the psyche ward after I laid out to be killed after Hell's Angel's were circling my friends house.

And I wrote a rap while I was in there, it goes like this.

Broken promises, hopefull wishes
Just a glimpse of the bullshit they feedin us
Locked in cages, all for the wages
No need for morality, it's all about legality

Tacklin kids to the grown
Six men holdin him down
Cause he won't give himeself poison
Who know's what they put in him now?

He's starin statan in the face
beggin GIVE ME A BREAK
but his cries are no use anyhow

As he's stabbed with the injection
his face change complexion
as the drugs rush to his brain
he feels hes goin insane

the doctor think it a game
yet he never feel the pain
they say we bein tested,
yet I feel fuckin molested

forcibly drugged with a needle,
is that how we treat our people?

This some nazi shit and it's time we quit
druggin the masses for what they believe
treat em like shit just for what they perceive
I can't take this now and it's time we leave
our primitive ways of our controlling disease

Not bad for a psych patient, eh?

Reality is subjective vod.

I want some of what this dank guy is smoking.

He got it from SR 2.0 for $25 (+ Shipping). I heard that it is a new synthetic drug, which is actually a mix of Krokodil, LSD and DMT. You need to contact him through PM, to get the details of the vendor. And also, don't overdose yourself.

Krokodil?

To be as I am.  To be god, I'd recommend LSD.  LSD is the most forgiving psychedelic, you can also have a great time with Lucy.  Shrooms are shorter but more intense, my first 2 gram trip was very intense and bad for the first 30 minutes but then became very good.  You learn from bad trips, so they're really not bad in the end.

Note: tripping a few times is not going to make you as far out as me, but it will help you understand.  I have plunged deep in the lake of psychedelics to find the bottomless trench that is the rabbit hole.  It will bring you peace and show you the way.  You may even fall in love with a girl afterwards too.

If you wish to see the highest level, order some ayahuasca, the plants are legal and it is a very spiritual compound.  Definitely not recreational, but it will help clean your karma up.  You don't even have to drink a lot to benefit from it, I find myself functional on small sips.

Weed is really not the most enlightening, but it is very easy on the mind.  It is good for beginners but will lack the full experience and spirituality of acid.

One minute he says we will all share heaven - the next minute he says we each have our own reality.

He has no clue.

Ask one thing at a time.  That's normally how a discussion works, otherwise, when I reply to all of them, you will throw around several nonsensical replies to stray the topic further.

Do we all share the same reality in heaven, or are we each in our own reality?

Please just answer the question, and don't play your nonsensical games.

Basically the countries with winter 70% of the year like winter related sports, for some

yeah, and other people in my house wouldn't be surprised to see a dude in a mask hanging out with me? :D

I should kidnap myself on the way from school, but what if I kick myself in the nuts :D
You'd have to wear some sort of ball-protection. Do you own any hockey equipment?

no, hockey isn't really popular in Europe :D

but I'll take that one for the riches :D

now, when have that settled all we need now is a time-machine :D
Not popular in europe? How far west are ya from? Definitely not Scandinavia at least!

Croatia :P

we watch it sometimes, Medveščak is quite popular but it's not like I'v ever seen someone playing hockey :D

In Zagreb maybe but I'm at the eastern end of the country :D
Aha yeah, it might not be as popular a bit farther south. It's still huge in the north though.
Basically the countries with winter 70% of the year like winter related sports, for some
reason. ;)

well it makes sense :D

down here we're all into football, handball, waterpolo etc. :D

not sure which part of Scandinavia you're from but if you're from Sweden you might be into handball too :D
Handball is alright. Fast paced sports with good entertainment quality. Altho I don't really watch any sports, on ice or not. :)

2008 :D

I was 11 back then lol

but I would of found some ways to purchase bitcoins :D

besides, I would bet my money on all football games I remember :D

If you time travel you won't be that 11 year you, you would be currently you and you could go visit with that young you :D
Or that how it usually work at movies, I'm not sure how this time machine works tough.

He will go back to 2008 and paste a sticky note on his room to buy tons of bitcoins and in 2014 he will be driving tesla.

I would just go talking to myself like, "Hi, I'm you from future and I will make you rich".
It would be pretty easy to proof that I'm "me" and that I'm from future.

yeah, but you have to make sure no one else sees you, which would be a hard job..

Why I couldn't just be my new friend? :D
Just use disguise or something. So that people would'n think why I would look exactly like me :D
Physicists say it's not possible to meet yourself in ANY time. They call it a natural fail safe .
What physicist said this more specifically?

Notice how dank was unable to answer a single question about heaven?

One minute he says we will all share heaven - the next minute he says we each have our own reality.

He has no clue.

 :D

Ask one thing at a time.  That's normally how a discussion works, otherwise, when I reply to all of them, you will throw around several nonsensical replies to stray the topic further.

Do we all share the same reality in heaven, or are we each in our own reality?

Please just answer the question, and don't play your nonsensical games.

We each have our own reality.  Though we can still create collective realities.

If anyone is right it would be He.  That man has the greatest scientific mind on the planet.
Alright, but his work is based on theories aren't they? And until proven we can't know for sure whether they're viable at all. Even the Big bang theory is being questioned over and over again, after being the most well established theory about the beginning of the universe for several years.

Point is nothing tells us he's right until his theories are proven.

When dealing with questions regarding time travel or the universe the only answers you can get are through theories and math.
For now, yes. :)
If the human race survives for long enough we'll most likely be able to see the theories in practice ( however not in our lifetime, unfortunately ).

in space if you achieve high enough speeds time goes by faster and you remain unaffected

something like that

Yes he said you have to almost attain the speed of light but he also said it's impossible to travel at light speed it's another fail safe of the universe.

but you must attain almost the speed of light, not the speed of light :)

I think he said it would take just 76 years to almost attain the speed of light.
Woho, given the the lifetime expectancy is increasing with an alarming rate we might after all live to see that. If his predictions are somewhat correct of course. There are so many unpredictable things that could affect it though.

His shows are simply amazing to watch. I love how he explains in simplified terms so morons like me can understand him  :D
Well, what would be the point of doing something as amazing as he does and then being completely unable to make other people understand it? :D

Lol "it's impossible to travel at the speed of light" I love how people make statements like this. Kind of like how they used to say it was impossible to travel around the world and come around the other side. Or that it was impossible to split an atom. Or any other number of things... that turned out to be entirely possible once greater knowledge was attained.

"Impossible to travel around the world" was spoken in the age of ignorance, when almost everyone on the planet believed in a god.

"Impossible to travel at the speed of light" is spoken out of scientific fact.  As you apply more energy to an object, it's resistance to acceleration increases, and that energy is turned into mass instead of velocity.  Mass cannot travel at the speed of light.  You can do experiments to prove this in your own home.

What tells you however that this isn't going to be viewed as another "age of ignorance" in a couple of thousand years? (Given mankind survives that long).

You don't how about teleportation vod.  You can travel anywhere, any distance, in an instant.

But you have to harness the power of god to achieve that.

Just need to believe.  Remove the ego (negative side) and you're left with the soul (positive side) which is infinite.

"With the power of soul, anything is possible" - Jimi Hendrix

We are multidimensional beings by our very nature, we're constantly shifting dimensions through space.  We also dream which is an example of our multidimensional nature.  Some have also experienced astral projection or out of body experiences, which are another example.

Everything exists right where you are, all you need to do is tune the frequency of your mind to the reality you wish to perceive and it will become present.

Psychedelics are an efficient way to decrease your ego and literally see higher dimensions.  They empower your soul.

Though for us to physical visit these realms, it will take a collective effort of humanity to purge negativity from earth.  That which can be done through a synchronized positive feedback loop on a massive scale, such as a music festival.

All that is a myth. And Jews have heavily inter-mixed with various European and Asian ethnic groups. Look at the American Jews such as Norm Coleman and Zac Efron. They resemble the Europeans much more than the Arabs. Present day Jews have on average less than 10% Semitic blood. And add to that those people who have converted to Judaism, such as Chelsea Clinton.

If you're going to go back to make money instead of mining you could do it a lot more simply.  If you had advance warning just print out the winning lottery ticket numbers and win 1 or 2 jackpots (I don't think you want to win more to set off alarm bells).  Or anonymously you could probably hit some big sports betting jackpots or invest in Microsoft or something.

But yeah being alive during Jesus' life would be amazing.

Why only usb miner? You could stole the whole concept of bitcoin and made your own currency. Hell you would be better with just some lottery numbers that this. And for money you would buy some first bitcoin buy for next to nothing! I would probably do something like this...

I would go to 2009/2010. I would invest in Bitcoin and all the right altcoins and buy/mine and sell at exactly the right times. For example, I would buy/mine thousands of BTC back when they were worth pennies each and LTC just after coblee posts his [ANN] thread. Then I'd sell most of it during the November spike and invest in BCNext's Nxt IPO. I'd sell most of my Nxt shortly afterwards and if everything goes well, I should be a multimillionaire by the end of it all. :)

To be honest any time period between 0 BC (well earlier would be fine to) and say late 1800's would amaazzzing. It makes me sad sometimes we will never see any of that stuff, and just have to learn about it in history books or the internet.

While money has no intrinsic value, I'd like to be rich, so my first destination is 2008.

I prepare and get a lot of CPUs...

I get 25,000 bitcoins.

Than I travel back to the present, and live large.

However inventing a time machine might start some sort of weird race, where people that can travel in time faster and more efficiently can control more of the world's resources. It might also create chaos in the environment.

Bring back more evolved viruses to a past without the cures might even destroy the world. (You bring back antibiotic resistant, viruses)

So, one should not travel too far back in time as the risk of contamination of the past is increased, with the possible consequences of a great loss of life and change of events.

Perhaps I would give the world plans for efficient electric cars so that technology would accelerate and be ready years in advance.

I'd visit the future (say 5 years) and write down every nonce that successfully mines a new block on the blockchain. Only to then find out that the nonce need is being computed also based on the coinbase address (address that receives the reward) and therefore useless for me to claim that reward  :'( :'( :'(

But you already exist. If you went back in time, that must mean you've already gone back in time and changed something without doing anything to change the future. I suppose there are a few different time travelling theories though.

Personally, I'd probably go back quite a long time ago. With my current knowledge, I could rule the world!

Aye. It's not like I'd go out and say "Omfg, I'm the smartest person alive". I'd keep a lot of information secret. It wouldn't be that difficult to rule the world. Take something as simple as electricity. That gives you a HUGE advantage over the next guy. Once you introduce motors into the playing field, literally I win.

I have a trans-dimensional device in my left pocket that can turn the entire universe into light, love and eternal grooviness, but I don't feel like using it. Why? Well, I have a time machine in my right pocket and when I'm done teaching my dog the answer to life, the universe and everything I'm going to use it to go 100 billion years into the future. Why? I just want to see what's up.
Where will we all be in 100 billion years? (http://scienceblogs.com/startswithabang/2012/08/23/where-will-we-all-be-in-100-billion-years/)

Your time machine is here what year are you going back to and why?

I want to do a lot more things like :
1. I'll visit back to the time when my mom was still alive. I never knew him so it would be lovely to see him in person. I've heard so much about him so I wish he was here with me now.
2. I will invest all my money I have, to buy bitcoin  in 2009
3. I would go to the future to see if all the fantasies about the future is true or not
4. I would go back into the past and undo a few small things if I could.

I'm going to back to my childhood because living in that year is awesome because there is no gadget. You come to your friends to play some different games. Board games like chess, snake and ladders. Missing that moment because this days technology is blooming.

I have a question.

Imagine that you picked the year 2050.

Then Jesus returned in 2030, and took His people home to the new Heaven and the New Earth (the new universe), and turned what is left of this earth into Hell.

Would you wake up in Heaven, or would you pop out of the TM in hell?

The XIX century gave a huge number of outstanding musicians, artists, writers and poets, architects, as well as scientists, inventors, adventurers and great politicians. And I would be happy to see some of them and to talk to them.

I'd like the future (Probably around 2100). Hopefully it's not as bad as sci-fi says, and if it isn't, then there's probably going to be lots of cool technologies to discover and other stuff. Think of how advanced VR games will be in the future.

I would like to be transported into the future, to see how technology has changed. Perhaps 20-30 years from now, it would be nice to see if someone has successfully achieved singularity such as mind uploading, or immortality in virtual reality. I heard there are studies and researches being made right now and it will be interesting to see it come to life.

Hmmm .. I think I'd prevent JFK assassination. That event blew off Executive Order 11110 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_11110) which would help to end the FED.
Not only his death prevented that to happen, it set the tone for the presidents that were to touch the holy FED.  :-\ Further on Nixon killed it with cutting the parity from the USD to Gold. That really started the mess we know today.
Change that. :P

The year I would like is 2018. Live in the present, people! Have we learnt so little from all the series we watch like Flash? Toying with the timeline never ends well ;D But honestly, we should all just appreciate the present and live in it. Enough of thinking of better times, either in the past or in the future. Even if I were mandated to choose a certain year, I really can't pinpoint anyone. I just like to live every day as it comes.

Your time machine is here what year are you going back to and why?

With the cold war scare, no internet? Everything analog? NO thanks.

As most others, yes 2009, and put my pc to mine and then invest into mining or just buy Bitcoin.

Of course, my country was the richest of the region in those years, now its the worst. I won't say it isn't tempting, and relive the 80ies the decade of the personal computer, but you could do that today much cheaper and easy. I even miss a subset of the fashion trend.

Well in that period you could buy Apple stock or whenever they went public (no idea) then sell it all in 2009/10 for Bitcoin.

I wonder what exactly makes you "sick" of the Millenium, you can for the most part choose the life you want. Don't want a smartphone bothering you at home? Turn it off (or don't buy it). Many of the current perks are optional.

Unless you are a smoker, but i'm not so i don't care they can't smoke in planes anymore :P
