I would've done a pre-order from bitmaintech, but they only accept BTC. At this time I have been restricted to using a credit card and I don't have the BTC reserves to do that. So instead I used my card, which has fraud protection etc if I need to reverse the payment for any reason. The units were listed as new and were reasonably priced considering the demand for them. Hopefully it will all work out, but I am willing to get my hands dirty and wade into the bullshit if I have to. :-\

I got the units for roughly 2700... let the flaming begin on that one haha. However, I was told that the higher price is not a problem so I wasn't too concerned. All I care about now is getting these 4 units in good working order, making repairs if need be, and putting them online ASAP.

Batch 2 packaging was pretty solid, and there is a additional foam liner inside the miner to stop the cards from dislodging and flying around. Still, you can never underestimate the damage that UPS can do. Your unit looks like it sustained a fall or something, why did you sign for it if it was rattling so bad? |
