No joke, it's just one of the many animals that is joining the animal crypto kingdom.

Rats are simple, Humans not, and rats are wild. No one controls rats, and certainly not RatCoin, this coin will remain in the wild without influence from the developers. It's YOU that make RatCoin survive.
In real life, no one controls rats, there are so many out there, strong community, always in a group, no one is being left alone.

The intention is that the public will own RatCoin, and not the devs, for making giga profits.

- Minimum Coin Age: 1 Day
- 60 second block target
- 30 confirmations for blocks to mature!

- PoW Payout: 40  per block
- PoW Confirmations: 4

- 3% Premine ( 750,000 RATC 550,000 will we use for bounties, and 200,000 we will sell to people that don't like mining )

RatCoin is not owned by anyone, for that reason we will sell 200,000 of the premined 750,000 RatCoin, just for the people that do not want to mine, and for a fair price :)
The other 550,000 RATC will be used for bounties only, to keep everything running smoothly.

Via this way we want to give out a message that we have no intention of pumping the price of this coin when it hits exchanges, because we own a lot premined RATC. (which we do not)
We want to make it as fair as possible and give every one a fair share :)


RatCoin will run on it's own after a while, a community based crypto that isn't controlled by anyone. Even not by the creator of the coin. Dev will only be available to fix issues and update wallets from time to time if needed.


Princing & Policy about how the 200,000 RatCoins will be distributed :


1,000 RATC = 0.03BTC ( Per person max 10,000 RATC can be purchased, so if you buy 10,000 RATC price will be 0.3BTC )

Keep in mind to send exactly the requested amount such as 0.03BTC for 1,000 RATC, or 0.06BTC if you want 2,000 RATC and so on.

For the people that don't know how to mine with the wallet, just go to -> Help -> Debug window -> Console. To start mining use command  : setgenerate true
And to stop mining use command : setgenerate false

That's it, your mined coins will go to your wallet directly :)

Thanks mate, I put a bit of Hash into the coin just for fun but with this announcement  it is pretty much guaranteed dead.... to bad their is not even an exchange yet to sell the coin.

I am thinking for a solution, everything will be running as usual.

Option 1 : A new dev will take over this coin
Option 2 : I will relaunch the coin, but with a much better launch announcement than currently the case is, and also with a proper website and perhaps an exchange.

Option 1: Coin will die, its not far enough in for it to be worth it for a dev to take over, easier to just create their own.
Option 2: Why its already launched and running, Last night I had over 300 MH on it and others in the pool had almost 900MH with about 10 Gigahash total on the network.  Not to bad for a launch, This coin isn't serious like Sync where it will get 200 GH.  Add all the features and it should pick up steam, if you Relaunch you will most likely lose all the supports you did have and kill the coin.  Why not just get the Website up, try to get listed on any exchange and Get all the relevant data from this thread, Start a new one and have the Mods delete this one.

Ok I will do so, I have found some one that is willing to help me, in this stage i will get the website up, and get in touch with exchanges to add the coin. :)

New RatCoin Blockchain Explorer (http://chainz.cryptoid.info/ratc/) up and running!

Note that the explorer is new tech, unrelated to ABE or other explorer, and was mostly dealing with Proof Of Work cryptos so far.
Things like extraction & difficulty are featured prominently, but aren't too relevant for Proof Of Stake, so suggestions on UI improvements are welcome!
