You need to mine or buy coins. you can only get a few cent by using those sites.

Thats what I want jst a few cent to experiment. buying sounds tricky,  just want to play with it first

If you couldn't get a few cents from coinworker you better give dude!
I have a friend that got more than 4 BTC from there in a couple days, just from working in his spare time.

We'll if you want to post cash in the mail for coins, there are many people who will do that and live close to you.

You could also use an exchange, or sell something on the forum for bitcoins.

What graphics card do you have in your PC? Even if its slow you'll still be able to generate a few bitcents by mining. You can mine only while you use your PC to minimize the extra electricity usage.

I have a laptop not sure what card, it says integrated graphics.

To make a sizable amount of money, you need a couple of high-end graphics cards, but most graphics cards will get you enough to play with. You can also use your CPU to mine as well.

OK I need to figure that one out i guess

Yeah. They're low on tasks now. I guess the site is getting more and more traction, so the available tasks don't last for long. But I know for a fact that at least the flagging pictures task is always being refilled.
Keep trying ;)

Yeah man, why won't anyone give you money?

No clue.

On a serious note though, sites like coinworker etc do give you BitCoins, but it takes alot of effort/time. If you're just dying to get some ButtCoins, buy them for USD! :)

I had not heard of coinworker.com before this thread.  Is it a bitcoin version of mechanical turk? (https://www.mturk.com/mturk/welcome)

Stuff is happening so fast now, I can't keep up with the flow.

Yes, they get the tasks from CrowdFlower (Mturk also uses CrowdFlower as their partial task provider)

Yep. Just like any currency, nobody is going to give them to you for free. Best thing to do is offer a good or service. If you do something well, see if someone will pay you to do it. You can also buy them, or try to mine.

Dwolla is useless unless you live in the US and MtGox, sending money is a hassle. Man this is a pain.

Ugh, I just tried that CoinWorker. How awful. And somebody made 4 BTC in 2 days? Were they working all day? That's like $20 at current exchange rates. You could make $60 at a minimum wage job in the same time. I suggest just buying some BTC.

Go buy $20 or $40 of bitcoins without a Dwolla account(which you won't have if you're out of the US) and tell me how it went...
