very bad, they oblige you to wire money from your bank account to your HITBTC account in order to get the status verified and to start using your account ... waste of time and waste of money + it's not enough, they want your bank to fill a form to certify you are the account holder, bank will charge you to do so and it's stupid. Decent support. Only problem I see they require 6 confirmations for BTC transfers before you can trade with them, which may spoil some trades, unlike other exchanges that require 1-3. Relatively quick withdrawals.

ANXBTC verification process is user friendly, they ask for ID and address proof + phone number, you will receive an activation code by SMS after they approve your address proof and ID

HITBTC verification process is very bad, they oblige you to wire money from your bank account to your HITBTC account in order to get the status verified and to start using your account ... waste of time and waste of money + it's not enough, they want your bank to fill a form to certify you are the account holder, bank will charge you to do so and it's stupid. I give them a 0 for their verification process.

BITSTAMP verification process is acceptable too, a little bit annoying because they don't accept address proof you downloaded... you must receive a bill at home, take picture of your bill and submit it to them... if you don't receive any bill at home then it's a problem

BTCCHINA and HUOBI are excellent, fast customer service, but good only if you have a bank account in China.

ITBIT is good too, similar to ANXBTC

Overall they are all good but I cannot judge HITBTC because their verification process is so annoying so I didn't try their service.

ANXBTC provides ATM debit card and installed many Bitcoin ATM in Hong Kong, however they are all out of service for now.

deposit fee SEPA for Kraken.com is wrong.  SEPA deposit is free.  Bank Wire € deposit is 5€

And you should add, that bitcoin.de is a marketplace with 0,5% trading fee, for european users.

Nice comprehensive list. Although, you missed something very important: BTC-e has a fee of 1.5%, with a minimum fee of $150 if you want to withdraw by international wire transfer. This is why I never withdraw fiat from btc-e.

Yes. That essentially means 1.5%, or $150 fee, whichever is higher. The break even point is a withdraw of $10k USD, so the fee percentage only applies if you withdraw over $10k, otherwise it's $150, which is crazy. Btc-e has low trading fees, but withdraw fees kills you unless you do high volume trading.

International Wire Transfer ($1000 minimum, 1.5% fee, $150 minimum fee)
    Paypal ($500 minimum, 7% fee, $2500 maximum/transaction)

Just look at your USD withdrawal options in BTC-E. :)

As Coinbase, it's not an real exchange. Exchange means that mutual trade between users, but on coinbase, we "trade" with coinbase, even coinbase's "trade" just buy and sell. So I'm sorry to cant inclde it.
    Thank you  ;)

why no altcoin exchanges, what a pity!
If I include them, the post will be moved to altcoin thread.  :-[
But some Bitcoin exchanges on list also have a bit altcoin business, especially btc-e.  ;D
If necessary, I will do a collection on altcoin thread  ;) I look forward to it

What's with Kraken? Everytime I look it says " USD deposits are temporarily suspended." I am verified.

This has been going on for a couple weeks.
Reference coinbase, whenever there is a large fluctuation of bitcoin price, they prohibit users selling and buying bitcoin.

They also need verification. So not much difference actually than any other exchange that accepts SEPA.

"Please supply your full name, address, government-issued photo ID, ID images (both sides if applicable), and cellular phone number. Examples of proof of residency include electricity, gas, cable, phone bill or bank statement from within the last 3 months. Some countries also require an image of you holding your ID in your hand. I think when you transfer in the EU, you can select the currency in the recipient's account. So if you have EUR, you can still send SEK, they will convert it as well. Plus if you have a SEK account and you receive EUR, I'm also sure it gets converted right away.

Only the deposit / wirhdraw via bank wire needs to verify on LakeBTC, like Egopay and other ways are not required your authentication.

And Bter, you can't do any fiat related actoin if you don't pass their verification, certainly this includes Egopay. In particular if you are an American, you will be denied any next action on Bter.

Anyway, if it not charge a fee in trading, it must have a fee in deposit or withdrawal, we all know Exchanges need to survive.

In fact, if all add up the cost, it's nearly same fees and charges between various exchanges.

coinbase should be added to the list, for US people who don't care too much about privacy (or who plan to wash their BTC later anyway).  Coinbase also has a bad reputation when prices jump up or down; it is said they will cancel your transaction, but so far I've not heard them take anybody's money illegally.

Campbx is fading away and have multiple issues. Should probably remove from your list.

    ok, I had deleted it.
if anyone foud another bitcoin exchange, I will add it

campBX is based in US, at least not gone away.

coinbase should be added to the list, for US people who don't care too much about privacy (or who plan to wash their BTC later anyway).  Coinbase also has a bad reputation when prices jump up or down; it is said they will cancel your transaction, but so far I've not heard them take anybody's money illegally.
agree, you could ignore it, but you have to tell us the full truth

This is a good idea, it's not just if there's a leverage it's also the conditions the leverage can be adjusted. Bitfinex for instance removed default leverage settings from their interface, now it's adjusted by their system.

Point of Exchange reviews is not to find out about the current price on exchanges, but to compare the features. If you want to browse the prices on all of them at once use sites like http://www.coinorama.net/ (http://www.coinorama.net/), they do an excellent job on that.

Hey here want to trade Doge for BTC where should i?
    Got any idea?

When you are choosing where to trade particular currency, go to the coinmarketcap.com (http://coinmarketcap.com), find particular currency and go to the "markets" tab where they are sorted by exchange's volume, in this case:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/#markets (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/#markets). The higher the volume - safer is to trade on it since it is the exchange that dictates the price movements.

I asked btc-e if I could wire money from my business account.  They asked for Articles of Organization, passport etc. which I sent.  Then they said OK, you can send the money now.
As soon as they got my wire, they froze withdrawals, including crypto, for a month.
Opened a ticket, they said send "SWIFT document."
My bank says there is no such thing.
The btc-e website says that to enable withdrawals, send ID documents.  Which I did, passport, bank statements, company documents, everything.
And of course, now they ignore me entirely.
If I can withdraw everything at the end of the month and get out safely, I will.  Btc-e has no respect for its customers.

Bitstamp was hacked last month, at least we know who's to blame, and you can make a claim with the law. even bitstamp were the mtgox 2, we knew the ceo and the team, so they never want to do anything in Europe.  >:(

But we nearly know nothing about BTC-e, we can't do anything to btce if they were really deliberately dishonest  :(

I suggest you take a try Lakebtc https://lakebtc.com/ which was attacked by DDOS every day, but it always endures and continues its buniness.

Just signed up for lakebtc.com and its a really good site

at least in the website design, lakebtc is just better than btc-e, all other exchanges are better than this two.

fortunately, we do trading with api while lakebtc has a powerful websocket api, close the site and only provides trading api is enough for the exchange  :)

among the list of exchangers mentioned, I prefer BTC-e.
    why?
I think BTC-E is great for trading because it is very easy to sign up, deposit and withdraw. For trading facilities BTC-e is also very good because it is very simple and also has applications mt4 so easy to scalper

Due to the extreme regulations on regulated legal compliant exchanges, dozensof Bitcoin exchanges are going out of business.By this time next year I can see where customers have to pay a fee to join an exchange or deal with an unregulated exchange where you could lose your money with no comeback. We are insured for being hacked and all fiat are held by a third party bank so your money is safe

Hi, i have a question, isnt International wire just like a bank money transfer? From wikipedia i get this:

Wire transfer or credit transfer is a method of electronic funds transfer from one person or entity to another. A wire transfer can be made from one bank account to another bank account or through a transfer of cash at a cash office.

So why is the fee bigger for visa and mastercard if it is essentially the same thing?

Hi, i have a question, isnt International wire just like a bank money transfer? From wikipedia i get this:

Wire transfer or credit transfer is a method of electronic funds transfer from one person or entity to another. A wire transfer can be made from one bank account to another bank account or through a transfer of cash at a cash office.

So why is the fee bigger for visa and mastercard if it is essentially the same thing?

I think what he said about iternational wire is just bank wire, but through SWIFT

TBH, I am a bit concerned about OKcoin, and all the stuff that has come out about them. The corporate structure and shady people involved, the lack of security protocols, the belligerence of Star Xu, the allegations of running bots, the exodus of all those executives..... doesn't look good.

Do you have a link to any of this? This is all news to me. I've been away from trading for a while. Was thinking of sending a little bit to OKCasino to do some 20x gambling. ;D

There is a lot of stuff on r/bitcoin. I'm a bit lazy to pull it all up myself. But google is your friend. ;)

heard shady trading in okcoin, and although I don't like okcoin too, but any sample reddit discuss more shady things with okcoin??

    any details link????

I'll just leave this here. Bolded for emphasis. Thanks AceWallen for pulling up the link.

I have asked them to do a proof of reserves and publish balances managed by them - really hoping they are doing it.

the thing is, how much trust can you put into that? there was a reddit thread recently where the former CTO stated that Okcoin gamed the audit. here's the link:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/37tm1b/czs_statement_regarding_the_dispute_between/

    Quote
I can confirm OKCoin removed a number of accounts (used by OKCoin bots) to pass the Proof-of-Reserve audit in Aug 2014. In essence, these bots trade on fractional (or fictional) reserves. Stephan Thomas was lied to during the audit. This is an unfortunate limitation of the proof-of-reserves method.

    And also this:

Up until the time of my resignation, Star alone holds the private key to the OKCoin code wallet. The backup of the private keys were held by Star’s wife and mother, both of whom are non-technical. Such was the state of OKCoin’s cold wallet security. I have insisted many times to switch to a multi-sig solution. Star said yes, but always delayed the task.

First ICO Launched on Crypto Next By AltBitEx.com

Douglas, Isle of Man - 1st of July 2015 - The first official Initial Coin Offering (ICO) on white label platform, Crypto Next, is being launched by Altbitex.com from 1 July 2015 and will run for two weeks until 15th July 2015.

Crypto Next is proud to announce the addition of ICO functionality to the Crypto Next platform, which will allow new Altcoins to approach Crypto Next, or any of its white label operators, in order to launch a new coin.

ICO functionality will work using the platform's existing coin trading mechanism, whereby coin trade will be restricted to a specific account with the unique ability to set the market. This will allow the market-maker to define a fixed number of coins at a fixed price, and create markets against any supported currency. Once the ICO is complete, the system will allow coin holders to immediately market them against any chosen currency.

The first Coin ICO on the Crypto Next platform is the International Euro (IEURO), running from 01/07/2015 12:00 CET until 15/07/2015 12:00 CET.

For more information about launching your own ICO,  on the Crypto Next platform, please contact us on admin@cryptonext.net

CEX.IO has been an exchange from the very start. You could purchase GHS (cloud mining power) for Bitcoins at the market price and trade.
Last summer we have added fiat money to CEX.IO, gradually developing in an exchange direction.
As you may see from the short service description provided, CEX.IO is a fully operational exchange.

    Hello,

I just wanted to ask, as far as I know the maintenance fee got to a point where it was not favourable for users to own GH/s and mine, hence you rearranged for bitcoin exchange only. What happened to all the mining power? Did users sell all of it back to you?

Borisz, our users possess lifetime GH/s, which means, they are able to sell them at any given moment and trade on the price difference.
Now, we are searching for solutions that would help us to resume profitable cloud mining.

I see your site also trade USD GBP etc fiat, any fiat forex available?

you want to trade forex with bitcoin or with fiat? i think you need a different broker

if you want to do it with bitcoin, which is better imho, less hassle with documents ecc, you can try 1broker

I think his meant both to trading btc and trading fiat, both. it's cool!

If you want to choose an exchange for trading or buy-and-sell, I hope this post will help you.

Here that the fees are charged by the Exchange, does not include third parties (such as banks) fees charged.

Great information! Thanks for making this, it's very helpful  :)

I know it, bter was a quite big cypto-coins exchange once, which based in one city in Shangdong Province, China.

But bter seem to had gone bankrupt due to the two big theft recently: 10,000,000 cny valued NXT was stolen and 1,750,000 usd valued BTC was stolen.

Did anyone still use bter here?  astonished;  ::)

I think it would be great if somebody can come up with a table showing comparison between the rates and the fees charged by each exchanger. Personally i use kraken for my supply and it would be nice to keep watch for alternatives as well.

no, but i must assume that they were dealing only with usd before, that's why they weren't so famous and their volume wasn't great either, good for them then

i still find kraken to be the best for exchange in fiat, but maybe not for trading....

All of the exchanges that I used have pretty much similar fees. Kraken has one of the highest fees in the industry. The last I checked, if you are a casual trader, their fee is quite higher than btc-e. Then again, to send money via SEPA is much cheaper that to send money to btc-e, so in the end you end up the same.

Fees are not a big deal if you are a casual buyer, but they are important if you are a day trader. Kraken has a dynamic fee, more you trade the fee goes down though.

fees are closer to 0, and free is a trend. if any one exchange back their fee rates to two years before,  they will lose customers instantly

I just registered at LakeBTC and they do not offer normal SEPA deposits for now. You can only get EUR via those "LakeBankers" (I guess these are normal users who provide their personal bank account for deposits to LakeBTC, so LakeBTC does not need a own bank account).  They charge fee from 0.3 to 0.8%, which is too high I think. I would prefer a normal SEPA with 0€ to 5€ flat fee, so I won't trade at LakeBTC, until they offer real SEPA deposits.

It's not only the deposits, the withdrawals may be very problematic at the first sign of any trouble. You can bet that those "LakeBankers" will fly away from the exchange in no time without looking back. Just don't use such ad-hoc solutions, they may seem fine when everything is in order, but things often are not.

for the fee, I think it is not important, there must be a max fee, it is impossible to deposit 100,000€ with 300-800€ fee.

in general, I support it if the LakeBankers are regular business with local, do not support individual to do LakeBankers.

I'm agreed, it is supposed to open a corporate for LakeBanker.

one contractor with Lakebtc also invited me to be a LakeBanker, I promise that I refused it at the beginning, but eventually I became a LakeBanker. one reason is that I do have an account which has a few btc at LakeBTC; another reason that LakeBanker is a voluntary thing, I can also do nothing even though I've been a LakeBanker.

but in fact, I had helped to deal with the requests of two deposits and six withdrawals. and now I think I should take a break, to avoid my bank came to me in trouble. and, it seems all is good at least for now, wishes.

Yes, if there is a maxed fee, such as 20€, I think 0.3-0.8% fee is acceptable.

Most OTC trader fee is more. Although localbitcoins only 1% fee, but the price has already rised 1-10%, so the fee is actually over 3%.

And more local exchangers, they charge a ridiculous fee to transfer btc. If LakeBankers can spread faster and wider, I think at least it would be better than localbitcoins.

I am also an old user of Lake BTC

the Lake Banker idea is great, but the problem is that many small requests were accepted too fast, while some big requests were excess and no enough money to complete it.  :(

I had exchanged more than 10 BTC into any other currencies, and prepared a big fight already.

but so far I only accept one deposit request of 50,000 japanese yen, what a pity

wish more small requests and I will continue to wait and see

I had exchanged more than 10 BTC into any other currencies, and prepared a big fight already.

but so far I only accept one deposit request of 50,000 japanese yen, what a pity

wish more small requests and I will continue to wait and see

if you do Lake Banker as a person, I suggest you should just do a little amount. otherwise your bank will pay attention to you.

Hi guy, do you notice LakeBTC recent relsased GBP, EUR and JPY currencies?

no, but i must assume that they were dealing only with usd before, that's why they weren't so famous and their volume wasn't great either, good for them then

i still find kraken to be the best for exchange in fiat, but maybe not for trading....

support mul-currencies are always troublesome and higher costs. because it is fighting to bank which behind is gov.
I would prefer a normal SEPA with 0€ to 5€ flat fee, so I won't trade at LakeBTC, until they offer real SEPA deposits.

indeed for the case, at the first time I heard LakeBanker, it's really exciting, just like a agent with gobal payments, such as okpay, perfectmoney etc.. but if the lakebanker was a personal, a lot of policy risk, local laws and regulations that might take you in a lot of trouble

for the fee, I think it is not important, there must be a max fee, it is impossible to deposit 100,000€ with 300-800€ fee.

in general, I support it if the LakeBankers are regular business with local, do not support individual to do LakeBankers.

10 BTC is far more than 50,000 JPY which is less than 500 USD. Do you wish requests less than that? These transactions are not worth handling aren't they?

After all of the recent exchange busts and hacks, I don't know who in a right mind would use an exchange as a wallet. This has to be a complete newbie that doesn't know thing about crypto scene or a completely ignorant person that just don't care.

I have held some funds on the exchanges before, but that was just because for some alts, wallets were to hard to set up. So I concluded that they are safer on the exchange than that I mess up something and lose coins because I don't know how to set up the wallet.

This case and the case of active trading can only justify holding coins on the exchanges.

if you were Banker too, you will find that people are more willing to make small deposits, $300-2000 are common and grab one is difficult. and big deposits mean you have to put a big cash pledge in lakebtc, this is not suitable for everyone

anyway, this work is no cost, the fee charged by bank is paid by depositer, it is a easy thing when I do it in online bank

Coinbase is very good in some ways.  Perhaps the best thing about it is the zero maker fees.
And if you live in the U.S., it's very convenient; you can do ACH transfers between Coinbase and your bank account.  Banks don't charge for those transfers, and neither does Coinbase.
But there is a downside.  Coinbase is a big fat target.  As the biggest bitcoin business in the U.S., by far, the regulators have it under a microscope.  Coinbase bends over backwards to comply with law enforcement.  For example, there was at least one person who apparently had his Coinbase account closed because he sent some of his coins to a gambling site.  Coinbase tracks the coins that people buy from it.  So buyer beware!
Another alarming little event happened recently.  The IRS demanded that Coinbase turn over all its customer records for something like the last three years.  That's names, addresses, transaction histories, everything.
A judge granted permission for the IRS to issue such a summons.  Coinbase is fighting it in court.  Even if Coinbase succeeds in holding off the IRS, I take this as a sign of things to come.

By the way, the name of the Coinbase exchange is GDAX.  That is how you need to search for it if you want to find it on sites like this

Post by: payzet on January 27, 2017, 01:19:49 PM
Payzet is World's Largest Bitcoin Exchange Company. Payzet are Exchange To Payzet to Bitcoin,Bitcoin to Payzet,Payzet to Payzet .You can Exchange Paypal, Skrill, Bankwire into Bitcoin easily in a single step.

    What PayZet does? – Introduction(https://www.payzet.com)

Learning how to use Bitcoin can still be quite difficult for new users because the easy-to-use layers on top of the underlying protocol are
still being created at this point in time. Having said that, most people who have used digital payment systems, such as PayPal, in the
past should have no problem learning how it all works in these early days. Having some bitcoins is pretty pointless if you don’t know how
to spend them, so let’s take a look at how you can shop with Bitcoin online and send coins to your friends.

Payzet bitcoin exchange is the fastest way to buy and sell bitcoins in World. Bitcoin addresses are kind of like the usernames of the Bitcoin
payment network. If you want to send a payment to someone else, then you need to know their Bitcoin address. You can Deposit Instantly with
Unique Transaction id on PayZet bitcoin platform.

At this point in time, Bitcoin addresses are kind of like email addresses before they were simplified in the 90s. These addresses are
a long string of random numbers and letters, and it isn’t exactly the most user friendly way to add somebody to your contacts list. Having
said that, you should definitely add a friend’s public Bitcoin address to your address book if your wallet has one. Once you have your
friend’s Bitcoin address, you are ready to send him or her some bitcoins. At PayZet bitcoin we guarantee you fast transaction
    processing and best bitcoin rates.

To send a Bitcoin payment, the first thing you will want to do is open your PayZet wallet. There are many different Bitcoin wallets out there
today, but PayZet is one of the fastest with best rates available in the market. There is a tab for sending payments in your wallet, so
navigate to that section of your wallet to begin. Once you’re in the “send” section of your wallet, you will be asked to provide a Bitcoin
address and an amount. If your friend has sent you a Bitcoin address, you can simply copy and paste it into the address box. Before entering
the amount for the payment, make sure to check the unit name next to the box.

PayZet wallet uses full bitcoins, bits and millibits. PayZet wallet will allow you to enter an amount in US dollars or euros if needed, so
don’t hesitate to use that feature as well. Once you’ve entered the required info into the two boxes, you can then send the payment.
This is a transaction fee that will be paid to Bitcoin miners. Deciding to skip out on this transaction fee can be rather
costly because miners will only confirm transactions of their
    choosing.

Hello I need trading sites that uses cryptocapital as deposit and withdrawal method..

Please help with the list of trading sites that uses this

what do you mean about "cryptocapital"?

I think all listed exchanges provide crypto currency, like BTC etc, as the deposit and withdraw way.

good! My friends and I need it!  :)
Thank you, but this is not the most perfect, it can be more satisfactory  ;)

The list is nice and informative. No exchanges on the list went bankrupt...yet ;)

but we can't know whether the author quietly deleted the exchange that had been bankrupt.

The one I know for sure is cex.io (http://www.katiewager.org/cexio-review)  - they list it as one of the payment options when you click deposit or withdrawal.
