Bitcoins as a store of value now need bitlicenses is this how lawmaking and lobbying works in the US? Really???

Wow, I really didn't know lawmakers could do things as drastic as this, not even an exemption like you have for holding gold where I believe you're not all forced to have it in an ETF or have it given to you by a customer in exchange for a service or good.

they do this because they are desperate ... and lobbyist do a good work, too.  ::)
not a problem ... bitcoin is made to buy and sell "by the hand".
if professionnal exchange fail ... local exchange (like the saturday market) do the job.

like drug dealer job.

You only need a bitlicense if you are in the business of exchanging bitcoin for cash or for cash for bitcoin, if you are a business that accepts bitcoin this does not apply to you

what about in the ''business'' of storing value for yourself, why isn't there an exemption like there is for gold?
