Imagine that the dev is actually the owner of a hash renting website. He launches a scam coin and people come to his website to rent hash in order to mine the that coin. Even if the coin makes it to an exchange, the prices too low to matter and the coin dies. This is irrelevant for the dev because his gain is not from the coin, but from the hash he rented to other people who mined that piece of shit coin.

It is cool that your questioning my motives.  Here is the thing,  I own 3% of this coin.  I mined 150000 coins.  If I was a scumbag P&D member I would be singing this coin's praises.  Instead I offer words of caution.  I don't think I am the coin police.  I just believe that every time a scam succeeds it takes money out of the miner's pocket.  Every time an investor loses money on a shitcoin that means less money for miners.  You need to start thinking about the big picture.  If scams and shitcoins are all the investor has to invest in they will simply stop investing period. All the money in the world doesn't guarantee a spot on bittrex.  If they require PoD and you refuse I guess you don't get to play.  Word on the street is that's their plan going forward. Due to all the scams.  Required PoD for listing.  And btw I am guessing the dev got 33 blocks of this. There were 16 launches in the last 7 days.  People say I trash EVERY ann that comes out.  That isn't true.  I jumped on the lemurcoin dev because he was trying to do a bullshit long PoW/ large premine scam.  I jumped on the Xuro dev until he corrected his OP.  He was lying about only premining .8% and it was a 7% premine.  The second he fixed the OP I stopped.  And this coin.  I think this dev is carsen.  I believe he got 33 blocks of this coin with an instamine.

I think part of the issue with the coin so far is that people always latch to something with promises.  This coin has zero promises, which is good considering the goal here with community input but bad for investor interest.

It's feeling like a bigger project now. I want to add so much things to it and they're promises.

I will add them to the OP with a set date. I'm still writing out the Whitepaper and drawing the processes that will happen.

It won't be extremely professional (and sorry before I even type it because I suck at grammar) but i'll make sure it hits expectations of everyone.

I just read back a bit, but was wondering if there was ever any movement on the POD front. That would at least put minds at ease, possibly even generate some volume. I almost bought some as I saw some action on Ccex... but that CK label looming is gonna just keep it dead in the water imo, not a risk i'll take personally though I wish you guys luck.

I was pushing for PoD because I was told about 3 weeks ago bittrex had no plans to add coins without PoD.  They still do add coins without PoD so that makes PoD completely useless now.  I didn't ask for PoD because I believe it has value.  In fact go visit the Axroncoin thread.  PoD can be faked.  PoD doesn't ensure the dev has any skill.  PoD doesn't mean the dev wont run away from the project.  PoD doesn't stop a scammer who lied to get his PoD rating from scamming you.

If you believe in PoD I have a question for you.  Do you believe in the Santa Claus too?  Stop chanting PoD, it is a stupid mantra.

You do realize the is community self-regulating (unless you'd prefer government regulation), yeah people can still scam, but it makes it more difficult even if only slightly. If we don't work to make sure coins are legit no one else will enter this market and it will just turn into a crypto circle-jerk.

I couldn't agree with you more we need to work together to make sure coins are as you say "legit".  The problem is PoD doesn't make sure that coins are legit.  We need to figure out a better system.  I am sorry I can only point out the faults in PoD and cannot offer a better solution.  This doesn't change the fact that PoD doesn't work. Nor does it protect anyone from being scammed. The sooner PoD is dead the sooner people will start to work on a new system to stop scammers.

Remember this,  you can put a Band-Aid on a broken leg.  That won't help your broken leg.  You have to fix the problem.  You can't just pretend something is helping when it isn't.

When it comes to this coin I feel it's irrelevant.  Nothing to hide, no far-fetched promises or hype and no premines or ipo.  Miners are the ones with the most of DarkBlock so worrying about the dev doing anything other than updating us and keeping the coin stable is silly imo.

I finally just made enough Bitcoin so that I can have other developers jump on the boat. I figured out I can't do a lot of things, so now, i'm able to complete everything.

This dev is a liar.  He was claiming he was making 100s of btc in IRC chats.  Then he says he wasn't working on the project due to lack of funds?  Lets think about this.  What has this dev done?  He released a coin.  Made grandiose claims about adding many features.  Then he did no development of the coin. He has done zero development since the coin's launch.  Now he is back saying the same things he was saying 3 weeks ago about how he is going to add all kinds of features to the coin.  In the mean time someone was buying this shitcoin up for 10 to 30 sat on C-cex.  Now there is 5 btc worth for sale.  VVXX 2.0 if you ask me.  If I were you all I wouldn't pay him off.  I wouldn't invest a penny until he makes good on all those promise to add features he made in his OP.  Talk is cheap dev. Lets see you make good on all those claims your making in your OP.  So far all you have done is lie.
