Title: 4 650GH/s+ Habanero boards, $350/each
Post by: MrTeal on August 30, 2014, 04:25:42 PM
I have a bunch of samples of the new design spin coming in next week, and I need to make some room in my rack and breaker box for them.

These are just the bare boards, and buyer pays shipping. I'll do $1300 if someone wants all 4 of them.

Do these come with the custom backplate?

I know your post says bare boards but the post in your other thread kind of implied they came with the coolers, I'm not trying to be a pain the rear but are the coolers included ?

Taking off my Peppermining hat here, I'm selling some of my personal boards to make room for the new test boards when they arrive.

They're all pretty good performers, using a Swiftech H220 with upgraded fans. $450 each or all 6 for $2500.

Oh, they come with the backplates, just not the H220s.

Although for an extra $120 I'll toss in the coolers premounted (with Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra and upgraded fans).

Okay I'll offer $2500 for all of them with the coolers.

I have several chilis collecting dust. That was a great board. I've been a fan for a while.

If you think you can ship them safely with the coolers mounted that would be great but if you have any doubts I'm okay with reassembling them myself.

Sorry, I can't do that. I need the coolers for the next build, so I have to turn around and go rebuy $720 worth of coolers.

I understand. With that said I appreciate you willing to sell one assembled with the fan at cost basically.

I'll be honest I want one of these for nonsensical reasons the chili boards were my favorite project yet.
Let me think about it a bit, I may just get one for the hell of it...

For anyone looking at coolers, Newegg has the Coolermaster Glacier 240L (slightly upgraded version of my H220) on for $100 with free shipping. Combine that with promo code "bitcoindeal" ($75 off $300 or $150 off $500 if you pay with Bitcoin), and you can get an awesome cooler very cheap.

You can air cool them, though performance will be lower.

I ran one with a Hyper 212 Evo at 340GH/s poolside, and only 241W (@110V) at the wall. Temps were 89C at that point, so there would be room even with that cooler to bump it up a little. I would guess with a bit of an upgraded fan on a Hyper 212 Evo you could probably hit the original Babyjet speed of 400GH/s at around 300-320W at the wall, but I haven't tested that.

Shipping varies by country, PM where you are and I'll look it up. I'd guess about $100 for two, but I'd need to check.

For one, $40. More than that, it'd be $60 per two.

How about $750  for the remaining four? Escrow if you want it but I know your rep around here and feel fine without it and I'll pay shipping...
