Vocal store

Every one knows that Music is a huge market, every time it gets more and more online , having a music store with your favorites artists as well as new ones with the advantages like commodity, speed and customization that crypto currency can offer will make Vocal platform a powerful and important market in the music industry.

Artist's crowd-funding.
Crowd-funding will enable artists to go to the next level, spreading and selling current music or creating new one sponsored by Vocal.

Hello, due to the actual unfortunate state of crypto regarding many scams, we decided to start a wave of trust. We ended in the conclusion that development teams , specifically ones involving IPOs, have to provide transparency and some form of collateral. The initiative of doing PODs is very good but as we know now; third party POD providers can miss some details when regarding to secure the deal besides that they will only release documents in case of a special request.

Well, now we know that anonymity over here is very important but regarding to IPOs/Crowdfundings, we think that as any other investment group, company or society, where the leaders of the project are public persons, crypto crowd-funding need to be similar, investors need to know with who are they dealing because they are trusting their money to them, investors cant keep investing in random internet developments without even being sure of the full name of IPO manager. With normal coins we know the devs may want to be fully anonymous (and not all) and they have their right but at least regarding to crowdfundings the actual situation is wrong, lack of security is bringing mostly dishonest and incompent devs to the table and its slowing real innovation, crypto crowdfundings can boost and speed up a sucessful project and they create decentralized companies/projects; in this way fighting the monopolization but only if its ruled by competency, honesty, enthusiasm and trust.

So we thought of adding a new layer of trust where many dishonest, straight scammers or incompetent devs can remain outside of this circle, where the devs cant just sit down inerts after IPO regardless if the coin/project is having profit or not. The team must continue giving the extra mile during all development, and being public will help or in last case "force" to give it, and help to stop straight scams.


At least regarding crowdfundings, we think this is necessary, so we are starting with making our identities public, a Public PoD , and using this real bct account used by me and my brother in the past, we have nothing to hide and we have nothing to fear regarding our roadmap and coin, we have the skills and did enough research to know that our platform can fill what we are stating and through milestones we will be able to make it live in less than 15 days. We think crypto users should demand this kind of assurance.

It take a whole lot more than just cutting out the middleman in the music industry to become successful. Takes a huge marketing, promotion and production budget. Videos aren't cheap, travel is not cheap, studio time with major producers ... not cheap. A pool of funds is still necessary to provide this backing to ANY artist.

This is what has me interested in VOCAL. I've been an artist manager and musician for 20 years. Still very well connected. They've touched on supporting the artist long-term. This is key. The ability to crowd-fund is also good. Hopefully all this means the artist will have the type of support i've mentioned.

Yea lot of money if you want to make large artists interested in a cryptocoin. Try contacting Bieber to have him support Biebercoin BRC, likely he never even heard of it and I don't see any effort to let it happen. Besides he wouldn't even know who created the coin, if he could be trusted etc. I don't see any harm but like the Coinyecoin they may be afraid for a lawsuit.

People have to also realize that in the case of Coinyecoin .. Kanye himself is already tied into contracts for months/years to come. As with any artist. Plus they've already received their advances which in turn is their profit. Its the publishers/labels and distributors that would have more of an interest to be against any artist crypto as it interferes with what they have to recoup which can take years/albums to do so!

Yes our crowdfundings are exactly for that, firstly they will help small artists but later as we grow, we can reach bigger stars, no one started big :).

Also many people have been complaining about soundcloud recently, thats another target we will reach.

Yay! I'm on there! I don't want to sound stupid for saying this, but it says that the number one person on there has 84million coins? Am I reading that correctly?  :-\

I would assume that the very first round of distribution from that policy/method is going to be later rather than sooner. I also got the impression that it's entirely up to them if/when/how it happens because it's supposed to be used for a specific purpose.

I think the most important thing at this point is that we get word back from the developers that this project didn't completely hinder on an idea that required 30 million coins. Can they still do what they want even if it's only got 1.8? How about when there 25,000 listed artists and each of them average 20 songs and 2 videos. That's 500,000 audio files and 50,000 video files/links.

I'd like to know what, if any, changes are going to be made regarding the accounting...

Top received address in explorer is total mess. Check current balance section which seems more accurate also includes burnt coins from ICO and top wallet got 635k.

yeah, it's in the whitepaper in op which is why I didn't link or reference it. I figure I could always use it to fud and cause a stir but seeing that this was an ipo and all, we might at least want to wait until leaving the gate before trying to panic this plane down. If we gonna go the panic route, lets wait until we're off the ground so we get the experience of the crazy emotional free-fall before the crash and burn while we take this btch down.

I don't know why kids on c-cex are fudding about this coin. The rich list that is referring to 84 mil is volume, not holdings and if you scroll down to balances you can see the burned address and the 1.8 mil remaining. The entire market cap is worth 9 btc at the ipo price! That's about the cost the developers put into it in terms of work.

First thing you should look at is building a multipool that pays out in vocal, would have a big impact on such a low valued float.

They may want to buy more cheap coins, can't see why any other reason to fud.. This is a great coin with a lot of potential. :)

It would be wise, if the dev contacts COINKING for adding vocal in their multiports.

Since you do not have the platform yet and all we have is a few ids, can you prove in any way that the ids are not fake? How about your real facebook account or something else?

Fixing the supply data is a must to get added to Bittrex.  They rarely add a coin with incorrect numbers by any count. Mary Jane was added under similar circumstances, meaning just having burnt their unsold ICO coins also, and when it was added the was a big disclaimer on the top of the page regarding the coin count. The numbers were proven correct and it was finally removed but that pretty much tells you how Trex feels about coins with incorrect supply info.

Even if a hard fork is required to ignore the burn address permanently and correct the supply info I would take a serious look at it. Although low/high coin supply doesn't always equate to low/high value the reality is total coins is one of the first things people look at when researching a new coin. The lower, correct number would definitely pique more interest and we all know how important first impressions are.

The DEV is very kind and honest. Thanks for the bounty for translation and Promo, received and in my wallet staking. It's at bargain basement prices now. I own over 100k and I not dumping one vocal so that's a lot of coins off the exchange. So those dumping so cheap are not very wise at the moment and too impatient. I wish I had more btc spare to scoop up the cheap coins sigh.

First thing on the agenda should be a multipool that pays out in vocal since bittrex doesn't really like low volume markets and  the value of the entire float is worth 3k Usd, even small amounts would cause big gains.

I would recommend teaming up with Fire Rabbit (he does great videos) and a couple vocal music artists you know to make some music videos for promoting vocal.

Also, you should focus on building a community through your own set of forums away from Bitcointalk. I could bang out a set of basic forums for you in an afternoon, I have moderated/admin MMORPG forums for years plus have our own set of Cryptocurrency forums in which I have moderated for the past year. It's VERY beneficial since you can contact people much easier and have all the space you need to fine tune all the work with people who actually want to see it succeed.

I don't know why so many people are keen on irc chat. Personally I don't like irc because you don't get to see history and miss alot. I prefer a shoutbox over irc but chat embedded within forums with history for registered members would be better. If using simple machines forums comet chat would be pretty good and more advanced would be to build your own using Ajax.

If it does turn out that the original developer is gone all we need to do is verify that the float count is correct, do some checks and we can just move the source code to a new repository and create a new thread.

The very first page of this coins ANN (other thread) I knew it was BS. Did any of you actually listen to the one artist music they had signed up. Did you really think this was a serious proposition?  

Im an actual music producer (20+ years) experience and i have seriously considered doing a proper coin with real world potential in the music industry. This one, and all the others are nonsense for the simple fact they promise their coin will be used to buy music. They won't - and the devs know this.

 If there is any industry out there which could embrace an alt coin it is the music industry but these clowns are fking it up. The dev/team of any music related coin must have a large amount of contacts in across the industry (and I mean across the industry from the artist to the sound engineers, labels, distributors, online retailers, graphics guy, radio, magazines, blogs etc etc etc.. Did this dev project any of this? Forget about actually selling music (thats irrelevant). There are so many other ways a music related coin could become a serious contender (im not spilling it out here). In the meantime stop investing in these nonsense coins brought to you by amateur hour. You will know the real deal once you see it - if it ever happens.

The idea of a music related coin is about one of the best roles for an alt currency, so the idea isnt bad at all. But this one was crap and so are the rest imho.

Dev was online yesterday but didnt answer any quistions, he keeps us all in the loop. I think he come here says something, people buy the low priced coins on c-cex and he sells his coins for a higher price. He will be riding us like a rollercoaster.

Their platform is just a copy and for using crypto then bitcoin or doge would be better(or other coins). You could do a coin for music but then you need a new idea and contacts.

Can you explain why you had no updates until suddenly as the price dropped to 1/4 the IPO price, a large portion was purchased. It looks to me like you waited until everyone sold (and possibly even made those "dump now!" accounts), removed your ID's and then purchased Coins and came up with some flimsy excuse. It wouldn't have even cost a lot since you could use the BTC raised in the ICO to do it and still have a lot left over....

Everyone is free to imagine whatever they want, i dint buy coins but there are people who buy/sell only because they see some useless post here, you investors/traders are the only responsible for that acting, the same people who dumped because some random acc appeared here posting "vocal is a scam, dont buy it" are surely the ones complaining about how i the dev can manipulate the price with simple posts here. Why does this merit its own blockchain? Could this not have been built as a wallet on an existing blockchain? Other than that, I like the idea but just seems like a weird way to accomplish the stated goal. To be fair I'm very skeptical of any ICO.

Haven't been able to contact Skele in the last few days.
The website has been offline for a couple days that I've noticed and it seems to me like Vocal has come to an end, unfortunately.

I had really high hopes for this project, although I knew Skele was having a really hard time trying to make it happen with the small funding that Vocal got.
Regardless, it appears that he's vanished and we all know what that means.

So, I'll take the opportunity to officially excuse myself from the Vocal team and this project.
