Title: [ANN] Coin Ad (New Owner)
Post by: bitcoinaliens on November 20, 2014, 02:01:55 PM
Hi there, I'm Dan, and I'm the new owner of Coin Ad (http://www.coinad.com), I've negotiated the sale with Carlos and handover is complete.

Firstly I want to say there will be no drastic changes to Coin Ad. ALL balances can be cashed out, advertisers can make adverts as normal - NOTHING will change in this way. The site will be fully operational.

My only goal is to increase the traffic and popularity of CoinAd, and my plan to do so is to reduce fees MASSIVELY. Roughly to half them for advertisers, and to pay the other half to users - to increase the payout for each ad view.

Here are the Changes... the New Coin Ad:

1. A 50% Reduction in OUR Fees

We are going to trial this until the end of January – another 10 days.

If we can still make a little money to keep the site running then we will keep this.

This is LIVE right now, there’s nothing you need to do or any coupon you need to apply, we just calculate and take 50% less fees than normal.

2. More Ads

We are going to supply Ads ourselves even if there is a shortage.

I want this site to be THE largest Paid (in bitcoin) to click ads site in the world.

Sometimes there has only been 5 or so ads to click.

I will immediately guarantee that there will always be 15+ Ads at ALL TIMES, and if there are empty spots we will fund them ourselves.

3. Cheaper Ads (100 satoshi per click) For FREE Faucet Owners!

For a temporary basis, again just until the end of January we are offering faucet owners advertising at not only cost price, but around about 100 – 150% cheaper.

Generally if you take more than 10,000 clicks the price per click would be 200 satoshi (approx) , or less if taking a longer timer)

However for faucet owners we are offering 100 satoshi clicks, basically to bypass the regular way of buying:

1. PM Me your Headline text

2. We also use OUR referral link to your faucet.

3. Deposit into a wallet address we will give you

4. Minimum spend is 10,000 clicks (which is 1 million satoshi) * I really don’t think there is a cheaper form of advertising available right now.

* The theory on this is that it will; 1. get you more clicks , 2. let the browsers of coinad.com earn from coinad.com for clicking AND earn from your faucet at the same time. 3. We make up the difference in pricing in small referral commissions – so everyone should be happy.

If this is the case we might continue this on, but we will trial it until the end of January to start. PM me to get started :D

4. Newsletter

The only other way I want to monetize is to simply to add a newsletter - this is the ONLY thing which will really change within the next few months. And if you don't want to receive it you can INSTANTLY unsubscribe easily. You aren't obligated to receive it or to buy anything or to read it.

Dan

Hi there, I'm Dan, and I'm the new owner of Coin Ad (http://www.coinad.com), I've negotiated the sale with Carlos and handover is effective immediately.. sort of.

Firstly I want to say that to Coin Ad itself NOTHING will change. ALL balances can be cashed out, advertisers can make adverts as normal - NOTHING will change. The site will be fully operational.

There is actually a handover period/timeline, and I want to be completely transparent:

Now - until 31st December: Site is still controlled by Carlos (previous owner), database management, any technical work or site breakages will still be handled by Carlos.. so actually really, nothing at all will change in the short term, the site will continue EXACTLY as it is. During this time I will get an education in managing it for a smooth handover.

January 1st: Site will be handed over. Again, nothing new will happen, the site will continue to exist, fully operational.

It is in February onwards when I will make some changes - but I only want to increase the traffic and popularity of CoinAd, and my plan to do so is to reduce fees MASSIVELY. Roughly to half them for advertisers, and to pay the other half to users - to increase the payout for each ad view.

The reason for the sale is simply as Carlos is focusing on other projects (and Adbit), and the profit just isn't high enough on Coin Ad for him to justify working full time on it.

I however want to monetize in a different way, simply to add a newsletter - this is the ONLY thing which will change within the next few months. And if you don't want to receive it you can INSTANTLY unsubscribe easily. You aren't obligated to receive it or to buy anything or to read it.

However, if I can increase the profit, via this newsletter, then I want to do much more to Coin Ad,  to make it MUCH more profitable for YOU, to have the hights PTC payouts, and to add new features.. possibly; an inhouse faucet, competitions for users, giveaways for advertisers.

So, hi, thanks, watch this space!

Dan
I confirm everything said by Dan.

I dont think that coinad was that profittable. we barely had any sites to click.

while other services had 20+ i only got like 5 or 6 at coinad.

I wonder what would happen to adbit.co ? That was on sale a few months ago, but was not sold ultimately.

That's true. I used CoinAd long time ago when I was new to Bitcoin and then gave up since I couldn't earn much

Glad to see CoinAd has a new owner now. Hope he can do better promotions and can really reduce fees massively to attract more users/advertisers

Hmm, well when I was looking around it seemed Coin Ad and BTCClicks were the 2 big ones - seems quite a lot in Coin Ad to click and earn from, and I was.. am advertising in there too.

I can't give exact numbers, but basically if you imagine that the profit from fees is almost non existent when you take the cost of server and some other small costs... and the site earns more from Adbit ads than fees.. then yeh, the business model isn't exactly working as it was.. so yes, it is within my plans to "scrap/halve" the fees - give 50% lower fees, and the remaining 50% to the user.. but that won't be till probably mid January.

Also want to run competitions for the top users within a certain period of time, competitions for advertisers to win free advertising... a few just social things like this..

Good, make better prices to compete with btcclicks and you might take off!

I would advertise if you can compare to btcclicks.  ;)

CoinAd is better, cheaper and paying more than btcclick but if you can set advertising like btcclick. Ads should be starting soon as it can.If you can make it, you will be best site to advertise and earn!

What is the limit when a user will get deleted or become inactive?

Also Carlos, PLEASE make it so the viewers must keep the page on top when viewing ads and make the timer stop if they minimize the page or go to another tab. This will make the advertising better and would make more people buy ads on the site. I know others have that feature so please make it happen.  ;)

CoinAd is a great site and has always paid me on time. (about 5-7 days after the cash out request)

From CoinAd's TOS:
Quote
After 30 days of inactivity, your account will be permanently suspended. An inactive user for 72 hours after registration will have the account permanently suspended.

Coinad sold out is a thing that is long overdue because the website owner have lost focus and the new person that takes out would have completed is research before buying and this will give bitcoin community a hedge.
Congrats to seller, buyer, advertisers and publisher @ coinad.

coin ad is an asset that the buyer will never regret he only needs to add some twist because as at today the site already have 247 834 members, this is an asset and not a liability.

Wow I didn't aware of this TOS. It seems I can't use my account anymore coz it was permanently suspended

Don't quite understand why set it 30 days. If this requirement is not revised, I'm afraid I won't invest my time on CoinAd again

You would be better off most likely. If this is the same "BitcoinAliens" that also runs the BitcoinAliens faucet, you will receive no end of spam in your inbox.

Yes you're right.. I've kept receiving spam promotional emails from "BitcoinAliens" even my CoinAd account was already permanently suspended

It's sad to see CoinAd finally runs into this kind of cheap spam service like this

Sorry for the delays whitewidow, I'm actually still not in control of the whole site, on the deal we made I take over around January 10th. At the minute it is still Carlos managing the site and approving ads, and the policy is to keep a consistent level of ads showing rather than to have spikes and nothing alternatively..

A policy that I don't disagree with, as mostly ads are still approved with 24-48 hours, but it is my hope I can boost advertising to the site (by lower / no fees for advertisers - just click cost pricing), and so have more volume, and faster approvals.. which brings me to; marketing:

If all you want is to claim some free bitcoin and never take up any of the promotional emails you receive then this is fine, I love bitcoin, I'm happy to serve you, to spread bitcoin, and give some out to you, and if you really need to just use an adblocker and unsubscribe then do so.

As it is/was CoinAd was making almost NO profit - seriously, the "profit" from fees on ads is absolutely miniscule and there are server and hosting costs to pay - as well as personal time investment which has been HUGE. In that situation it's impossible to justify spending time on it, growing it, marketing for it.

So CoinAd can either stay as it is and slowly die and get never get any bigger or better. OR I can add a newsletter and some paid emails and sponsors.. is that really that offensive? With this plan in mind I want to grow CoinAd MASSIVELY, to give out more $ per click than any other PTC site, to have more traffic, more advertisers using it.. but none of that can happen on the existing model.

You wouldn't believe how HARD it is to GIVE MONEY AWAY and profit from it.. I'm not a charity, and I'm not a multi-million $ enterprise.. I'm just a guy, passionate about this and wanting it to work. The newsletters and the promotions help to make more profit, so I can give away more bitcoin and grow the site bigger. If this offends you then you can unsubscribe or stop visiting.

Why did you edit the number of clicks from almost 90k to 71k?

Because our Google Analytics stats changed from 90,000 to 71,000 so I was just keeping the post updated to our statpage (maybe it's just an error on Google's part). Not trying to get free clicks or whatever :P, was just curious what's causing this. I can provide you with screenshots if needed.

I like the new layout!
I think it's better if the AutoScratch option text will change to say Yes or No after you click on it, so it's easier to verify. Or, you could make the option a checkbox.
What would be the best is if you could make the AutoScratch option persist for each address, so like a default option.

Thanks!

CoinAd.com (http://www.bitcoinaliens.com/CoinAd) is now, fully, officially under new management – from us, the Bitcoin Aliens team.

There are going to be some BIG changes.

I am sure that will be welcome news to all. The old site was very sporadic with payments. While they did always pay out, you might have to wait some time to receive even after meeting the withdraw limit.

Ok, we've been in control for a couple of weeks now, and made some changes to CoinAd... not really changes, but just re-commitment to increase the popularity by:

1. Cutting ad prices in half (see our previous announcement on this thread just last week)

2. Adding more adverts - ensuring there is much more to click, and therefore much more to earn on a daily basis.

Currently you can claim 3,825 satoshi in approximately 3 minutes from just the top paying ads live right now!

When we took over there was usually 5-6 adverts to click daily, we’ve added our own spots and added special promotions for faucet owners and at current count there are 25 adverts to click on.

I had an account for more than 1.5 years but after the administration change the site hasn't been opened in my browser Opera 12. Today I tried to access it in Opera 18 and I got this error: ERROR Account suspended. What an unprofessional administration. You don't fix your problems and you suspend peoples accounts. It's like a joke.

Ok thats actually one thing we need to change - this is actually a relic of the old management still, I think the rule is your account gets suspended if inactive for just 30? 60? days.. we will prolong this for 120 days... will take us a little time to build this functionality though.. Eal, can you PM me your email and I will look for your account and unsuspend you of course!

BTW, in the contact page, try to update the Bitcointalk.org link. :)

Received some mBTC from last week payout. Anyway, could you check if wasefd2@live.com have been previously registered? I remember I signed up for one PTC site last year. And I'm getting account suspended message. Not sure if it is CoinAd.

Hi clubhouse, really sorry about this, I've really looked into this and this is an anomaly for me so far, I can see you have a balance and have applied to get paid out, we paid out 1000s of people the other day, cleared the queue.. I cleared it again just now and you still weren't paid. We are looking into this now.

BUT, please check your balance with us on Alien Faucet, I checked and you have an account there too - so I added this balance to your account there - which gets paid out on Friday - and you will also receive the CoinAd payment when we get to the bottom of things too!

Title: Re: [ANN] Coin Ad (New Owner)
Post by: bitcoinaliens on February 04, 2015, 05:09:46 AM
Ok, were really wanting to try new things with CoinAd.com, first a mini update:

1. Popularity Increase:

Since we took it over we have just about DOUBLED the daily traffic through the site - you can see this on our Adbit traffic estimations here: https://adbit.co/?a=Advertise&b=View_Bid&c=TPQ46OZQ6MICF (https://adbit.co/?a=Advertise&b=View_Bid&c=TPQ46OZQ6MICF) , previously they were 8-11k, now we have 15k+ daily page impressions (they are actually higher in our google analytics).

2. Today we are trying something new - FAUCET DAY!:

Today it is "Faucet Day" at CoinAd - we're promoting a load of our favourite, high-paying faucets through CoinAd TODAY!

This means you can earn satoshi from us while you claim from some of the BEST free Bitcoin faucets out there - you're going to claim from these faucets anyway, so you might as well claim through our frame and you are basically claiming and extra 100 satoshi per claim :)

3. + the top 7 ads live right now pay 2800 satoshi between them!

So before you even get to the 100 satoshi per click "Faucet Day" clicks, the top 7 ads from us today are paying around 2800 between them - today is a BIIIIIIG DAY!

4. AND we are still giving a 50% SAVING from the previous fees for ALL ads.

* we only take 5% rather than 10% fees.

Read in our full announcement about this a few replies back on this thread, but we are STILL only charging HALF fees on all ads you place!

Our aim is to be THE best source of MASS, INSTANT bitcoin traffic online, and our ad spots are getting bought and re-bought more than ever so we are really pushing towards this goal fast :)

Get involved, claim on faucet day (and the other high paying ads) or place some 50% discounted ads here (approved within 24 hours):

You are right, and thats absolutely not acceptable, it wasn't like that when the advert was placed - very very poor and low quality marketing and I've removed this now - for reference 23coins - this was you, your USSR faucet.

Awesum, thanks for fixing that so quick. I had noscript running and wasn't on a windows box. Just some faucet owners try to slip that in. ;)

So far I am enjoying new Coin-Ad outside of that. A lot more ads than before.

24 hours to view the ads you viewed. And for adding new ads, it will take a few hours as verifying the ads are done manually.

Ok were obviously not scamming, we paid out 1.9 bitcoin last week. Your transactions are 16k satoshi. We are really struggling to fix a TINY bug which is affecting a TINY amount of people - PM me your wallet address or email address if you are signed up with either Alien Faucet or Weekend Bitcoin and I will add this balance onto your balance there too as it is unlikely we can fix this before the weekend now.. it's really baffling us actually why just a tiny number of accounts/balances dont go into the payment run and get paid.

We're still really stuck on this issue, it seems like 1/10,000 or something miniscule is affected here, but I do appreciate that those 1/10,000 are you guys. It is unlikely to be fixed within the next couple of days... but:

My coin ad account information.....
Username: Mani94 and 33LQuxf2BGyLskW5mtmxq6stZYFGfkLLd9 this my xapo wallet address. i have 16k pending. Please sort my problem @Bitcoinaliens.

Mani, the nice, rounded bonus payment just come to you, thats me. Just an apology and to show we are serious.. but your coinad balance will be pending for a little time longer still.

Ya never received a PM..... but Ill try again
Coin Ad Account Medishun
3FX5qzi68HxYPQMTs4xktL3w2TnxVsWphi is my Xapo Wallet address and I have 16k pending... Let me know if you see it >.>;

Medishun, you too - check your wallet, sincerely sorry for the trouble!

I have sent you a PM. Try and reply. 3 payments pending since February 4, 7, 14 , none of it is yet to be approved. And you are paying others. Should I call it unfair?

Deeprince, you too, check your wallet, sorry for the late reply, were having a lot of bugs we are ironing out now.

Hi, I write again to know why my payment required 14.01.2005 is in "manual". You said that you would have paid in a week but it did not happen. My current balance is 0.75766 mBTC if I have to add these to the one in pendig
Let me know what I need to do, thanks
My account is clubhouse@live.it

Date    Amount    Transaction ID
21:16 January 14, 2015    1.00104 mBTC    manual

Clubhouse - what can I say, you were the first one who alerted me to this, and it's still not fixed.. no excuses, just how it is.

So please check your wallet - that bonus payment is from me, and yes, sorry, for now the pending coinad payment will still be stuck a little while longer, hopefully just a few days.

Ok, everyone else - last week we paid out 1.9btc - these 4 people are a TINY selection of problem accounts and we are FRANTICALLY working on this.

Thank you!  ;D Believe me to those who are reading this thread for the first time, the Alien crew are very dedicated to their members. Any and all problems I had were with the old owner of this Site.

**Edit** Btw Alien site works great, but weekend coin doesn't allow me to use Xapo Address even though you advertise for it on the site. The Same address works for the Alien one though >.> Something to look into? Right now I use a Electrum Wallet for your other sites so not a big deal, just my two cents... Thank again for the responses...thats 3 more then I ever got before XD

I got my first payment (since BitcoinAliens took over) just a few days ago. Thanks a lot.

Lot more ads than before, so it is worth a few minutes to peruse this site.

Oh okay that's easy,

Xapo wallets change addresses anytime you receive payments.... The New Wallet Address works as your main Account but the old number will still register your wallet too....It's all for security reasons... with your new # a outside person can not know your new balance on the block chain.... it's very nice feature

Yea for example my old address was

3FX5qzi68HxYPQMTs4xktL3w2TnxVsWphi

Today as of 2/22:

31sYjU1d1nVqPVAZksN2MVfu42BFZ1T2h2

Now I can use the new one obviously for any new sites that ask me my address for payment. BUT if I use the 3FX Number Xapo will recongnize it if a New site sends a payment to it and redirect it to my wallet.... Easy peazy ^.^

Hi Dan ( bitcoinaliens )

Congrats on taking over coinad.com I must be one of the few who needs to thank Carlos because while I was using it last year, it worked and paid OK.

I see the Terms still say, "After 30 days of inactivity, your account will be permanently suspended."

I guess I fell into that hole, could you un-suspend my account: mart2013 please?

I am subscribed to both bitcoinaliens and weekendbitcoin newsletters and NO WAY can they be described as "spam". We opted in to receive them! and the content is usually interesting and useful.
It is a little frustrating to get reminded of CoinAd when I can't login though LOL :D )

Ok drumroll... are you ready - here's the reason you haven't been paid...

You never added a bitcoin wallet into your account profile!

And despite this I did still compensate you privately for more than the amount you were due. But if you go and add your bitcoin wallet into your account then I will be able to pay you :) - it will be on the next run - Monday.

We're announcing a NEW video competition today with FIVE MILLION SATOSHI as the top prize! We want you to make a video about CoinAd and how to use it!

http://www.coinad.com

The rules are pretty simple:

1) The video has to be more than a minute in length.

2) You need to upload the video to your Youtube account.

* top tip - title your video with keywords - then it will get found and you will also earn some referrals and earn from their ad views - some example titles are - Coinad - Bitcoin PTC | The highest paying bitcoin PTC site | Bitcoin Paid to Click Video Guide | Get Paid to Click Ads in Bitcoin | Free Bitcoin for Clicking Ads |

3) You need to include your wallet address and referral link - so we can pay you - put it in your video description.

4) You need to link to it in our forum thread here OR post it to our Daniel D'Alien facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Daniel-DAlien/890709270949728) – ONLY entries that are posted onto our official forum thread or facebook will be counted.

5) You have until Friday 27 March to submit your videos! We'll be announcing the winners of the competition over the weekend after this date so keep an eye on your emails to see if you won!

Obviously this wouldn't be a competition without prizes so...

We're going to pay everyone who submits an eligible video to the competition 20,000 satoshi! And our TOP prizes are INCREDIBLE!

Why is second place prize so much bigger than 1st...?

5 million million satoshi is a HUGE amount... ;D

Reminds me of being a kid, I want a million trillion dollars...

If we compare this site with other non-BTC payment PTC sites, your rates are low. Maybe it's for attracting advertisers to get more advertisement. Do you plan to change it for benefiting visitors? In these conditions it's very hard to cashout reasonable amounts without heavily referral click support.

Hi! I really love CoinAd. It's one of the few faucets I keep visiting. I've used it for quite a long time. There was once a pretty dry season where there were not many ads, but it has been really good with enough ads for a while now. I wanted to just keep watch on this thread and read about the video competition so I made a video too. I don't have much experience doing videos but I thought why not. Thanks for the site and enjoy!

Hi Dan.  :)

this is my video for the competition.

https://youtu.be/LRW2BEFK4pA

Believe it or not but this is my first ever video that i have uploaded on Youtube.

i know the quality of the video is not great but i think it's understandable. i think i am the only one who have shown how to use CoinAd in detail. i don't know about others but i certainly have. hopefully you'll like it too.

I rest my case   :D

Alright, great! As of today there are four entries to the CoinAd video competition!
In light of the fact that we have 5 BIG prizes up for grabs, I'm going to extend entries into next week (I really want to give away ALL the prizes for our loyal users!)

Anyway here are our video entries so far (in no particular order)! Some great videos, I'm sure you'll agree - but are you going to let these guys get the prizes that easily? Let's see a few more and give them some competition this week!

You'll have until 3 April to get a few more entries in so let's see some more and raise the stakes in the competition!

Yes, we have some great video entries for the competition now! Everyone's balances have been updated with their prizes and the 30k bonus for entering the competition :)

Here are the rankings:

1st: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iy9C3vAfKLg
Loved the graphics and how it introduces Bitcoin as well as where the best place to get it is (CoinAd, of course ;) )

2nd: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2OhsW83PvE
There was a great "infomercial" style to this one - and I personally loved the photos that introduced it :)

3rd: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRW2BEFK4pA
This one is a really solid entry, takes its time and walks through the whole site for newbies :)

4th: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH52ilf2y_4
Same with this one - solid, informative. Really good video to get started on CoinAd with :)

5th: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiN5DCbNsWs
This one... was crazy! I'm not sure it's the best way to learn how to use CoinAd, but it certainly makes an impression on the viewer!

We love all the videos we received, but only the top 5 could win the big prizes... here are the rest of our great contestants with their entries! (And you both get the 30k satoshi bonus for sending in your entries too!)

In the past (when btc price are over 800 $) i have used more time coinad, but now, for ad pay less of 300 satoshi, i don't click, because 1 captcha for less 300 satoshi is more.

Why you don't add, for the older account, the ability to enter a captcha every 2-3 adv (for adv less xx satoshi)?

I don't see why they would scam you over 0.6 mBTC... I've had much higher payouts and they have gone through just fine. That being said I hope this issue can get resolved for you. I'm guessing it's either a mistake or they have their reasons.

Is this Still Active ?? I wants to purchase clicks for my Faucet. I will keep my ad Active 24/7 by depositing funds there and will let Coinad to deliver as much clicks as they can :)

Hi Ajatmoralez,

Yes, this offer still stands, can you PM me your ad details and ill give you a wallet to send into.

Have you had payouts from us ok now? Otherwise I will look into your address and see what the problem is - also are you 100% certain that you have a wallet address in your profile - and that it is valid. We've had problems before and the result was just there wasnt a wallet entered to pay.

I had to open a new account when that happened to me but not really a problem for me as I had no referrals.

It really is a draconian rule :(

I could be wrong but I *thought* bitcoinaliens said that he was going to change that inactivity rule. Too buzy maybe?

Sorry I can't be more help, he has replied to somebody since your post, but not to you. I have no idea why that has happened.

His friend from the planet Midori (Daniel D'alien) did said say something about Midori forums being better better than those here on Earth, so maybe he is not really sure how to use them? ;)

Erm, I don't have anything to say other than we're not a scam, we put all adverts online within 24 hours. We also do respond to serious issues, so we should have responded to this - can you just PM me and explain your issue and well make sure your ad gets put online. We're not seriously stealing 0.005btc from people - PM me here, or contact me through the site and we will respond and make sure if there was a problem your ad gets exposure.

Everyone else - if you just want to join and click some ads you will see your payment come to you each Monday - this is our payout hot wallet: https://blockchain.info/address/1BwJgbMKb7nz4GZ3uTDTbpovzznTrBbyJE, it is shared by our faucets, but you can see we've paid out 141btc in total - and you can see the transactions going back months.

dollar77, What does that have to do with harizen's question? Do you seriously believe that spamming this topic with your ranting, and spamming coinad's email inbox and contact form is going to get your issue resolved?

You have been proved wrong in your WILD allegations of SCAM. We who have been here for awhile all know that bitcoinaliens (Dan) is TOTALLY HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY.

There has probably been a simple mistake is all. Or you are full of ..it - which is it?

What exactly are you trying to achieve dollar77? At the moment you are just annoying people, wasting other people's time, and making yourself look very stupid. Any more of your trolling and you go on the banlist.

I look forward to seeing your apology to Dan. If you are lucky, he might take his time to look at whatever issue you might have.

Loading ads taking too much time now or is it only my internet connection?  ???

Hi Harizen,

I just this minute tried it and it was OK for me. Then I tried the next ad, Bitcoin Income, and it was slow. That is because Bitcoin Income have at least two errors on their page. Most browser programs will retry several times before giving up. Sites heavy with Javascript can also be a problem. NB: Your browser status bar may say "waiting for coinad" but that is not exactly true.

1. Is it on all the ads or just one or two? The timer does not start until the advertiser's site fully loads. Those sites may have a problem. e.g. Bitcoin Income took over 30 seconds just to load for me.
(Perhaps bitcoinaliens can think about adding a 'report problem site' button to the surf bar?).

1a. Are you trying to surf too many sites all at the same time? If you have a slow loading site in another tab, that can slow down or even freeze the loading of CoinAd in your active tab.

2. Is it only CoinAd or other sites also?

2a. If it is only CoinAd, What do you see if you ping the site?

ping coinad.com
PING coinad.com (104.28.28.125) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 104.28.28.125: icmp_seq=1 ttl=55 time=11.1 ms
64 bytes from 104.28.28.125: icmp_seq=2 ttl=55 time=11.0 ms
64 bytes from 104.28.28.125: icmp_seq=3 ttl=55 time=14.5 ms
...

If that fails or the number of milliseconds (ms) is over about 500 ms then I think you need to look at your computer or contact your ISP.

I hope that helps,
Mart

Sir thanks for the response. :)

Yeah its only on CoinAd and it's not only on viewing ads (I understand some of the ads loads slow like Bitcoin Casino) , even jumping from 1 link to another takes some time for about an average of 5-10sec (for example I clicked My Account , View Ads , etc. ) .

Not able to ping it the time I post my problem but here's the ping now as of the time I writing this query :

Quote
Pinging coinad.com [104.28.28.125] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 104.28.28.125: bytes=32 time=33ms TTL=59
Reply from 104.28.28.125: bytes=32 time=35ms TTL=59
Reply from 104.28.28.125: bytes=32 time=35ms TTL=59
Reply from 104.28.28.125: bytes=32 time=33ms TTL=59

Ping statistics for 104.28.28.125:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 33ms, Maximum = 35ms, Average = 34ms

Well Im not complaining and I can bear with it :) I just noticed that the site runs slow starting yesterday "for me".

Other sites in BitcoinAliens family runs smoothly except for CoinAd.

The free VPN has a common IP address, I often find the ads are finished by other users who share the same IP.

With the VPN app youre not using same IP even it's free.

But with the proxy website you all are using same IP.

Well I'm using VPN now but it's still quite inconvenient. And the recaptcha needs to click at least two images which is actually slower than entering the verification code. I still prefer the previous version.

Yeah it's impossible to change BTC address for now. But if you really want to change your BTC address you can make a new account with your desired address so that you don't have to wait to answer your ticket.

did you read FAQ section? It is not allowed to have more than 1 account per houshold (per IP).

Quote
Can I have more than one account?

To protect CoinAd.com advertising system only one account per household is permitted. This is strictly enforced. Any account found to be in violation is suspended and any commissions earned are immediately returned to the advertiser.

Lol of course with other IP then you can view ads in your own IP. Go to your neighbors house with pc and net connection (family , friends etc) and do a favor if you can use his / her PC (with no coinad users). I think it's valid because you just make an account. And you can't view same ads at the same with the same IP. No harm from both parties here.

Hi,

right now, yes, changing bitcoin addresses has been disabled because of a security vulnerability. Our top priority is to protect our users' earnings on the site. We will let everyone know once this feature is re-activated.

We are recommending that users make a second account right now - despite what the FAQ currently says about this.

Please note if you're using a wallet provider like Xapo there's no reason at all to change your bitcoin address every week (all old addresses still point to your account and you will continue to be paid through it).

Hi everyone, right now blockchain is having some issues with how its api is handling payment forwarding - due to this ads paid for on CoinAd are taking some time to come up in our system for review. We are now starting to receive some of the ads paid for several days ago and expect to be completely caught up to date fairly soon.

In the meantime please be patient while Blockchain fix the issues they are having - any ads paid for will be reviewed and activated as soon as possible!

Be care full with advertising on Coin Ad!You pay for made up numbers/views!

So first I payed for 1 thousand payed views for my youtube video. After my advertising campaign went online and the view count did not go up on my video, I tried to view my Ad over Coinad.com and noticed that it was just displaying a blank space, not the youtube page like it should have.

I contacted support, asking if they could look into that and fix it and reset the view count. I never got a reply.

Also I payed for advertising banners. I bought 150 thousand passive views (!!!). According to Coin AD I (only) got 71 visitors from the 150 000 passive views to my Youtube video. And that number is totally made up by them. I can track the view count of my video on you tube exactly. In the whole time the advertising campaign was running I got 4 views on my video. (even some one just watching one second will count as a view)

Proof: http://coinad.com/?a=Ad&b=HF3R4977CLACH and http://coinad.com/ads/?a=Ad&b=QSMWCLS7GUKF2

Have you tried sending a support ticket/email/PM to them? Try sending a message to them, and if they don't reply after a few messages, open a scam accusation. I've had a good experience with coinad in the past, but that may not be the case for everybody.

Guess I could send them a PM. Will do that now.

Edit: Never got any response.

My advice, stay away from CoinAd.

Hey everyone,

Please note that CoinAd PTC has been moved to www.bitsforclicks.com - all login details have been moved over with it, and we're working on fixing the white-screen problem that some of you are reporting with the new website.

Thanks for your patience with this.

Has anyone actually had the site work recently?

Glad it was just the 20.00 about.

If they don't respond and just take my money should really make people aware.

From what I can see from the deposit address they gave me they have received a few deposits that they have since moved ( so yes they are aware they got the bitcoin ).

.29 btc about... that is 100.00 a day scamming people unless there is just some glitch ( which I wouldn't know because their support will not answer )

They have some problems with the website, but they are working to fix it.
I have speak with the owner via Skype.
You must try multiple times to make an action on the website (for example I try 2-3 times to login or to edit the ads).
They pay weekly like always, so no big problems.

Coinad is one of the best bitcoin advertising network and also one of few networks which is not crap like other alot of crap bitcoin advertising networks

but its sad to see they are hell of in troubles but they are trying hard to fix everything, right now the problem is they dont have enough advertisers so publishers are just showing blank ads i dont understand why they dont have advertisers because the current CTR is Amazing

BlockAdz.com can't be a scam, it's owned by the same owner as CoinAd.
Try to contact them and I'm sure that your issue will be solved.

Hello,

I'm interested in getting an invitation for this ad network.
I do have this website: https://claimbits.net
It is around 4 months old, it does have over 9000 members and is growing daily. Alexa rank right now is around 100K and this is not a cheap quality faucet created with some free scripts available online, it was built with a custom script (developed by me, improved frequently) which is also available for sale on my store. Thank you for your time!
