But I don't want a bunch of people annoyed at me because I am too blatant/bold in the advertisement of my website. I could make it smaller, make the colors duller, or just convert it to straight up text.

But I have to go from memory, all signatures are blocked for me now. It's not animooted.... I agree though, animated images annoy me, especially in forum signatures.
