Welcome to this short introduction thread for VapeCoin (VPC)

What is a vape

A vape is a device that is battery powered to produce inhaled doses of nicotine by way of a vaporized solution. It makes use
of a rechargeable battery that powers a heating element (coil). The E-Liquid (more on E-Liquid below) comes in contact with
the coil and is then vaporized.

I am a local business man from Scotland is involved with vape shops.I have 19 full time staff who work for me.
It was one of these staff who suggested this idea and started explaining about bitcoin (he never stops now)

I have 3 people right now designing our vape shop where our products can be sold for Vapecoins VPC
very simillar to http://www.cloud9vaping.co.uk/ but with the functionality of accepting Vapecoin.

I am not very technically inclined so any questions about the coin will need to be taken by one of my staff who know's about such things

I can't say I have heard of much of that here , There are special pens/vapes that you can buy to add "herbal substances" they look just like normal vapes.

Since the source was/is not posted on GitHub.com the bigger pools will not touch it. Since you can do a source code compare to check things to make sure all is well and no code to hide coins or make things unfair.

I'm more worried about the wallet being a virus and when I click on the pool link it doesn't load the page so that's what I'm concerned about

there is no viruses , its based on the code for litecoin

@VapeCloud: I Don't know the first thing about coding but whoever provided you with the wallet didn't even bother to change the litecoin logo, also whatever it is you need to change in the code for it not to be detected as 'litecoin-qt' - looks like something out of coingen.

You should get a coder or someone to manage the technicalities for you.
Watching with interest as this would be something I could actually use for my vaping habits though I'll wait to see how things shape up after your updates before buying/mining....... good luck.

It's BCT bro you know that people are going to get defensive when stuff that is launched isn't working properly and no one said he was a bad guy or anything just questioning the coin and the way it was constructed.  There is nothing wrong with that I see that in almost every thread I read about any coin that comes out nowadays because there have been so many scams out there and people are sick and tired of being ripped off but I do hope for his sake that he does well but like I said unfortunately when a coin isn't 100% working when it's launched that usually sends a huge red flag to miners and investors to not want anything to do with it.  Which is why I just said that he should've made sure he had all his stuff in order before launching the coin that's all and I wish all you guys the best of luck with it :)

People aren't going to harass your staff my friend they just want to see physical evidence that these shops exist that is all.  You just keep beating around the bush about the shops when you simply can give the addresses of them so people can google them to make sure that they exist.  I really am trying to be supportive here and help you out with how you can build your "community" and to start when you say that your coin is 100% assest backed be prepared to show where you can purchase items with the coin.  Because if you can't provide proof of this then obviously people are going to be skeptical about it. I'm not against this coin. But the distribution is not fair. For a total supply of only 1 M coins, 1000 coins per block for first 500 blocks doesn't fit the logic or completely Insane. It'll only create a situation where most % of coins are dumped within hours of launch while the other miners can never ever reach that amount after the second Halving. Also take a look at this..


It doesn't have any block halving which is good for its stability.

We have 4 shops throughout Scotland; 2 in Edinburgh, one in Falkirk and one in Glasgow. We have been established for over 3 years as shops and have a small online presence. We also offer wholesale throughout the UK.

We do not however have any form of affiliation to the person who is claiming to be us on this forum. We have no member of staff who resides in Commercial Street. I found this forum thread via a post on our Facebook page this morning.

I am concerned that someone is purporting to be us and would therefore be very careful regarding the veracity of their posts.

So many contradicting claims form this dev. He own's the shops, his employes, he's a part owner of shops, he has stakes in shops. Knows all business partners as he should if he owns this businesses. Last but not least, we should expect that his business partners are familiar with this venture. If not, WTH he needs to contact them via pm BCT forum lol, he can call and explain.
