Title: Install Tapatalk To Give Easier Access to Mobile Users? Post by: smartazz on May 24, 2011, 04:46:56 AM I was just wondering if it was possible for the admin of this forum to install the Tapatalk add-on onto this forum. The add-on basically allows people who have iPhones or android devices to download the Tapatalk app and browse the forum in a mobile-friendly manner?

I have tapatalk on 2 forums for the last 2 years and there is no problem with it at all, but in the first versions when there was too many users logged in from tapatalk there was a huge overhead on the server/Db server. Additionally, I believe it introduced a number of CSS security issues and they weren't very regular with their updates, which (I think) may have been why it was removed. Lastly, it would interfere with regular browsing from mobile devices and harass the users into installing the Tapatalk app.
