I also can't see why it could be wrong to launch an Alpha of a product before the ICO. Most projects don't have anything to show at this stage, they have fancy ideas and 50 pages long whitepapers. Some have an MVP or a click dummy and a ton of marketing materials. A working product is so rare in these days and really should be appreciated. I mean, everyone can make pretty powerpoint slides. Plus isn't the money from the ICO supposed to finance the development of a product? I'm really at a loss here and I don't get why the proof in form of an Alpha version of a product could be considered a bad thing Huh
That puzzles me as well. We intentionally postponed the A2A ICO till we can provide a clear evidence that we HAVE a working technology. Yes, it is still an Alpha and we have to do many bugfixes, but that is how it works in the software development. On top of the described amount, 10% of the amount of the A2A tokens exchanged during the ICO process are issued for bounty, airdrops, advisors and strategic partners of the STeX project. The minimum amount of 200,000,000 A2A tokens must be exchanged during the ICO. If the desired amount will not be reached during the ICO, the liquidity pool will be topped up with all additionally issued A2A tokens remained to reach this 200,000,000 limit and will be reserved in the liquidity pool for the future distributions in response to the future userbase growth. 5% of the total final supply will be issued to the liquidity pool on STeX Exchange and other exchanges to provide sufficient liquidity for A2A tokens on the market. It depends on how you understand the atomic swaps. The exchange itself gives you an ability to change tokens across different blockchains. You can describe it as a master node with direct swaps between all connected blockchains. |

Great! Reading the whitepaper always helps. Although, I'm not sure whether there is an explicit description of the tier system. I'd guess that the exact tiers are tbd and that it all depends on KPIs and the distribution of A2A tokens. Maybe @Ivan [STeX] can elaborate a bit on this. Tier system will be introduced in detail after the final release and may be adjusted on the way to stay attractive to the users. |

I dont really understand how u gonna maintain the liquiduty? U will create the pool from the collected funds. But it will be only eth. So you gonna provide the liquidity only for ETH trading pair??  The Whitepaper explains it.

The problem is that you need a measurement system to evaluate all the tokens to create cross-rates, and we used an additional token for that purpose. I know a lot of decentralized exchanges implements this kind of solution and I wonder if this could be even possible on STeX
We use cold wallets to store most of the funds. With hardware wallet we cannot control and confirm the security level and do not want rely on someone's else professionalism in this critical part. Properly configured server is unpenetrateable, all exchanges' hacks has inside or human stupidity behind. We use same encryption level as bitcoin blockchain itself and similar principle of confirmation for the transactions. |

One question, I just want to know if I understand it correctly:
If I will trade one Altcoin with low volume against another Altcoin with low volume, and there are most likely no other ASKs/BIDs on this pair (just in case ...), do I understand it correctly that these coins are traded in background against BTC/ETH with the Liquidity Aggregator to prevent my order stuck forever?
You got it right, and even better - STeX is trying to execute your order using all possible ways of exchange - against all other coins in the system as well. But for you it's just an ordinary order. |
