Really looking forward to seeing this project take off, its simple, clear and actually addresses a specific need in an emerging industry. Gaming tournaments and eSports is a perfect application of smart contracts and exactly the kind of usecase we need to see.

Anything happening here? Can't get any movement on the network on my end.

Old school launch and not scammy ICO non-sense, can't wait.

Biotech researcher here, just found out about this project and invested after a few hours looking into it. This product is valuable no doubt about it. To someone working in genomics research and analytics this is a very useful tool. Imagine being a journalist without a computer and suddenly someone gave you a computer with a word processor, this is exactly the level of upgrade this is to those who will use this tool. Massive opportunity right here.

Hey guys, don't know if anyone can help, I downloaded the latest walled for DRM and imported my old one, the coins are showing up in my balance as unconfirmed. I've been waiting a few days now, the blockchain is synced but all the transactions in the wallet still are not confirmed. Anything I can do? I'd like to start staking these soon. Thanks in advance.
Did you try resynching the whole block chain coz I remember once I had a similar problem with a different coin resynching fixed the issue. Yeah, several times. No luck. Maybe from an old fork, I've not kept up with DRM, just have a folder full of wallet backups I'm sorting through. Tomi, pm sent.

The situation is shitty. Blockchain forking is a tricky topic I stuck around mining some coins during forks before even including and algo switch once. I can't defend the wallet issue but one thing I can say is that right now the mining power is the lowest it ever will be and the block reward allocation for those of us mining right now is up and once the controversy settles and the coin is working with all new features nobody else has, many will be wishing they got some of this launch mining themselves
Isn;t the diffuculty way high atm because mining continued from the previous coin?

Good going team, for a dev team that focused on transparency, they seem to have done everything they could to not be transparent during this launch. Have we even had any kind of an official statement from the devs yet? Any explanation why they would release without working binarys and without a block explorer? Or why we've had to rely on mining pool operators for ANY news or support regarding this coin? Or why random members of the community are alerting us about the chainfork and not the devs themlselves?
I'm out, I won;t be buying, mining or otherwise investing in this coin. Everything about the last 10 hours has been shady as shit.

So this is now forked then is that correct? It's be nice to have a block explorer provided by the actual devs to verify. I cannot think for the life of me why anyone would release a coin without either a block explorer or a working wallet. This is pretty insane guys.

Suprnova is now finding blocks, i've hacked together something that it works.
Hashrate display is wrong, I'll fix that within 48h !
thanks for your patience
Thanks OC, would you recommend leaving my miner pointed at supr overnight or is this likely to make me rage in the morning? Also could someone link me to a block explorer for Zen? I can't seem to find one. Another thing that should be provided at launch.

Honestly no word yet from devs here? And no comment as to why there are no binaries available at launch?
What a complete joke of a launch.
|
|
|
If devs have any sense they'd abort this utter failure of a launch. Instead I'll bet they're busy mining when the rest of us can't.
I had a good bit of btc standing by for this ICO, looks like I'll be taking that elsewhere.

A few years ago this kind of a launch would have been called a scam... Only Linux users with the knowhow to compile from source can mine from day one. I thought we'd gotten past these types of launches... Seems not.
Not compiling a windows wallet is not an unforseen issue, it is basic coin launch 101.

Guys, if you need an address to mine, I can give you one right now and then send you the coins for a 1% fee. I have been on this forum for a while and have a good reputation for trading and rig rentals: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=383359.0You can pm me if you are interested. I'd rather know how you have a wallet when no one else does tbh.

|
Wow, really no compiled wallet at launch?
|
|
|
How the hell do you mine this coin with nvidea? Website instructions are complete garbage.

I was just thinking the other day, the one thing this coin really needs is another ANN thread.

Yes, network is slow, need more staking wallets. Perhaps bounty needs to be collected and kept on a few public dozen wallets staking on a Digital Ocean server.
A move like that soon would ensure solid support at this stage.

Thanks to leetcoiner for taking this project on and for seeing the potential for Coven.
We need:
1) Roadmap 2) Website 3) Working Block explorer on website 4) Twitter + Facebook 5) Roadmap, realistic and achievable 6) Public Escrow and payment plan with funds held in a visible wallet, viewable from website. 7) Hexnodes
Huge potential here.
