1  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the correct time to purchase bitcoins and al-crypto? on: November 10, 2018, 10:54:20 PM
Very few of us have seen first rise and nose-dive of bitcoin. Then came the tremendous growth report of bitcoin which forced the world to take bitcoin and alt-coin seriously. This tremendous growth soon started to get correctly. That is from 16000 USD to ~6200 USD correction has happened so far. As as of now the prices have remained stable about 6000 USD.

Do you think this the better time to go for bitcoin purchase spree again? As from the bitcoin price history bitcoin has shown tendency to spike periodically.
Considering the bitcoin  novelty has worn off across the glob, Now there is sufficient awareness about the bitcoin and crypto. what could be the driving factors If yes then what could be the driving factors for the growth? As previous factors may be less significant this time.

I will say that buying if cryptocurrency at this time is personal and from one's detailed analysis do e and not necessarily through just survey from ordinary persons. I can recommend that it is safe to buy now and hodl till about 2-5years from now to get some real profits. But if you can learn the nitty gritty of trading, you can as well buy in now and make some real short time earnings too.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy bitcoin because it won't be fine on: November 10, 2018, 10:46:49 PM
Every is entitled to his/her opinion. But I can only agree on some parts of your analysis. I do contend with your conclusion as regards people being advised against buying bitcoin; that it won't be fine. I do think otherwise that the bitcoin will definitely rise later and become absolutely relevant and worth the buy now!
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you hear about Bitcoin (From Ponzi to Cryptocurrency) on: November 10, 2018, 10:35:31 PM
I first heard about bitcoin through the time I was actively in ponzi and I also got financially hooked in the waiting period. Got introduced through a friend and this also wasn't a fair earning at the end of the project/ICO.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of news circulating for Bitcoin prices on: November 10, 2018, 10:29:29 PM
It shows that the bitcoin market is mostly influenced by most people who don't have detailed understanding of how the market operates and what is entailed in it. The effect of the news is rlly dependent on the level of exposure of the people.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future payment methods of bitcoin and crypto on: November 10, 2018, 10:20:39 PM
I hope to discuss about the future payment methods of BTC and Crypto. Start accepting  bitcoin and crypto currency  payment today,Accept payment security without payment claim and avoid risk ,Send the bitcoin and crypto currency to your employees and customers.

I believe this should be part if what the SEC and other financial bodies are working on to ensure safe transaction processes and sustainability of the system once it has been implemented.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why we should all use Bitcoin and no more credit cards. on: November 10, 2018, 10:15:05 PM
I would say to get lots of persons to use bitcoin as means of payment generally would involve a mass involvement in stating one's desire towards it to different shopping sites. I believe from overview survey, companies can then adopt the use if bitcoin payment into their financial system.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we overcome the hard times? on: November 10, 2018, 10:08:23 PM
Hey guys, what do you think, can we be strong, and overcome this hard times when everything is red? How soon we will finally see bitcoin growing?

My own relaxed assurance as regards the bitcoin market is that it is no longer an instant profit maker as at before. So, a lot now are being reprogrammed to understand that it is not a get rich scheme and avenue to enrich one self but securing their future. So, better one diversify into other things to make ends meet.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: November 08, 2018, 10:08:47 PM
If you had 10000$ where would you invest it?  I'm hoping for 10x in about 2 years, how would you personally split that money? There are so many altcoins that I dont know which to pick, I remember the top 5 altcoins from years ago and  now they are all gone, so should I only invest in  BTC end ETH or others like NEO, ADA and EOS?

I have some real physical responsibilities at the moment, so, I did split the 10,000$ into 2 halves. I will use half for sorting out my personal expenditures. The remaining half, I will future split into 2halves; use half in investing in some altcoins and the leave the rest for hodl.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: LIFE GOES ON. on: November 08, 2018, 10:01:17 PM
Looking at the present state of the market, it could be very disheartening. But one thing is certain is that blockchain technology has come to change our society. And Crytocurrency which runs on the blockchain will continue to wax stronger and stronger, stay above fear. Life surely goes on with or without the enemies of crypto.

Yes! The full realization that cryptocurrency and blockchain have come to enact a lot of possibilities for the future in different areas of life. This gives a real glimmer of hope/light to present Investors that the future of cryptocurrency promises quite a lot.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell us about your experience on: November 07, 2018, 10:14:25 PM
As for me, I would say my experience is still a 50-50 category; I have gained as much as I have lost. I did got in about late last year and it was via the knowledge of the hyip. I did lost some good money I borrowed then and thank goodness I got some earnings via bounty and airdrop earnings later on. I am still in connection at the moment and really expecting the market to pickup again.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you think the market is down right now? on: October 29, 2018, 09:16:59 PM
is it all that is going on with regulations?

Big whales just waiting?

People do not believe in crypto anymore?

is it trouble in some countries in ASIA with laws and regulations?

What came to mind first as regards why the market is still down is the part of compromise; people not believing in hodling on to the cryptocurrencies they have but selling off even at ridiculous prices. This has continued to happen overtime and has contributed immensely in the devaluation of the cryptocurrency markets generally.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have to make big investment before you can make profit in crypto? on: October 27, 2018, 09:07:33 PM
I have seen quite a number of topics here where people have been selling or asking for advice whether to sell their properties to invest them in bitcoin. Am surprised some people forget that crypto investment is not always a win affairs. You either lose or win. You can as well make profit in crypto with small capital if only you have the patience to hold and wait for the time when the market is booming. Do not be a greedy investor. Always invest with an amount you can afford to lose. Have a nice day.

Big investment and profits can be relative and peculiar to some areas/location. The size of an investment and focus of profit is dependent on the character/behaviour of the Investor; so, what they feel is good for them as profit.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 the year of correction? on: October 27, 2018, 09:00:18 PM
As we witnessed a bearish year which lasted longer than the prediction and some people was it was the bad year for crypto but i feel it was a the year of correction as the value of crypto were overachieved at the end of 2017. Hence we are having a correction period to what the real value should had been? Kindly share your opinion.

Seeing the fall of cryptocurrency price of 2028 as correction of the prices is a perspective but I could reason with you in that line only for a while. But I will further disagree because most of the current token prices are really below the normal price being sold. So, conclusively, I don't fully see the price fall as a correction but a passing phase of bearish markets.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Who controls the market? on: October 24, 2018, 08:42:41 PM
Remember, this whole thing about crypto is largely decentralized, thus, there is no single authoritative body in control of the crypto market. Although there are few centralized platforms among crypto, the market is largely influenced by the efforts and influence of the users of crypto. How well sellers and buyers treat the coins on the market affect the performance of the market.

There are Dumpers and Pumpers that have controlled the markets in times past and few happenings in the recent times. The effect of Whalers in the market performances have been felt over time too. But in all, I do think the Security & Exchange Commission's regulations is having an overall power over the market at this present period.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: October 20, 2018, 11:15:22 PM

Looking at the current market, many people are disappointed in the market price, bitcoin prices stomping at the $ 7000 level, altcoin prices are falling deeply. Recent good news, however, shows that the market continues to grow and has great potential in the future. What would you do this time: Buy bitcoin, buy altcoin or do nothing?

Not doing anything at the moment; just watching as the markets are still not impactful. I have moved on to check with 2 other physical jobs and only check by refreshing my wallets over and over again; expectant of the bullrun!
16  Economy / Economics / Re: harmonization of fiat and crypto on: October 20, 2018, 11:08:08 PM
I have read several threads that say "fiat will die and will be replaced with crypto" as you agree? I personally do not agree. because when the real system is already established in value and a new system comes with a fluctuating value, the government will not take that risk. But do you agree if Fiat collaborates with crypto in building a future financial system? without killing one system. share your opinion about this.

The future of cryptocurrency holds a lot in view with the fiats. The fiats and the Cryptos are currently having a good relationship except for which financial governing bodies might see otherwise. Though the use of fiats might decline as time goes on but it will be in a mutual method.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 20, 2018, 10:58:30 PM
The success of digital wallets in the African continent was really great and based on what I've read on news articles about it, it really helped the economy and the businesses when it all started years ago.
With this in mind, will Africans be welcoming of bitcoin/altcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to earn cash or invest? Like using it as real money / cash?

I did see a ranking recently and Nigeria was ranked 7th in the world of cryptocurrency transactions. With this indicated, it shows that Africa has embraced the cryptocurrency in itself and we can only hope for a better synergy as time goes on.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Investments Why Risky? on: October 20, 2018, 10:41:17 PM
A whole lot is now being put in place just as highlighted in ensuring genuineness and security of Investor's funds. Before now, some ICOs have been maliciously setup with the intent of carting away people's money. The checks and balances we have now, the loss of funds has been reasonably reduced.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is one of the saviors. on: October 20, 2018, 07:13:33 AM
we certainly hear a lot of people whose their lives change 180% because of Bitcoin

based on https://www.livebitcoinnews.com/venezuelans-turn-to-bitcoin-and-online-gaming-to-survive/
when government policies make them miserable, they find ways to survive.

Do you agree with Bitcoin is one of the saviors and are there any of us who have saved their economic lives since focusing on Bitcoin?
and honestly, I'm one of the people whose economic needs have survived because of Bitcoin  Grin

I can say well that the bitcoin did help me this year in gaining grounds per time; surviving in our economy. If not for the bearish markets of this year, I would have really broken even in my finances to a certain level. So, I quite agree that bitcoin must have helped quite a number of persons too all around the world.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: October 20, 2018, 07:08:05 AM
Warning! Ranting ahead!

I am getting really pissed at the state of the markets. Despite positive news, the market is still pissing blood. Why?

Tons of videos on YouTube over and over again and again, hyping the crap out of this or that coin, anticipating something. But what for. The prices are not moving up when they should be.

What is the point of being excited when market is being manipulated by the most despicable creatures on the planet who see themselves above everyone else.

From my point of view it looks like TPTB saw people getting rich and becoming independent and they couldn't allow so many wealthy individuals in society so they came up with a plan to end this.

If you look at prices you can see how prices hardly change anymore. Heck most of the time Bitcoin prices remain at 0.00! in the hour! Why because they probably set up their bots to pump and dump their coins based on market movement to keep the price the same to prevent people from making money. This isn't so impossible to be true you know.

Just set up some bots and millions worth of money and when ever market provides a hint of an improvement dump it, and when even it going bad pump it. Keeping the prices relatively stable.

I mean why on Earth would anybody in their right mind sell, or setup their bots to sell when positive news is everywhere. It just doesn't make sense. It just an evil behavior that is all.

The whole cryptocurrency thing became somewhat stale from around May/June; this was about the last time I made use of the exchange site to sell any of my tokens for Ethereum. It has really being boring for me while anticipating the break of the bullrun!
Another thing that comes to mind is the fact stated in your fifth paragraph of a barrier being put in place to truncate the rate at which people were getting rich through the cryptocurrency. This, if true, has been well achieved for now.
