1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your view and your opinion about Ethereum? on: February 12, 2024, 08:49:54 PM
The second most popular cryptocurrency coin is ethereum, Ethereum is ranked #2 in the cryptocurrency market place. Currently many people are investing in Ethereum and they say that investing in Ethereum can be more profitable than Bitcoin, because they say that when Bitcoin is 100k then Ethereum price will reach 10k. In this they can earn more than Bitcoin. Also, some are saying that once Ethereum's SEC charges are over, the price will rise so much that they will be able to profit more than Bitcoin.

What is your view and your opinion about Ethereum? You can share if you want.

ethereum is my favorite altcoin after solana we have to know that the king of altcoins is ethereum we have to admit that if the etf eth approves and the bull run starts I am very, very sure eth will break its all time high again buy more eth from now that is my personal opinion about ethereum and go back and do your own research
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of These price tragets are realistically possible in 2025 ? on: February 12, 2024, 08:46:44 PM
How many of These price tragets are realistically possible in 2025 ?

Bitcoin (BTC) : $150,000 Ethereum (ETH) : $12,000   BNB (BNB)  : $1,500 XRP (XRP) : $7    Solana (SOL) : $500

Cardano (ADA) : $9     Dogecoin (DOGE) : $3     Polkadot (DOT): $200 Polygon (MATIC) : $10

OK, I'll give you my opinion about what you predict, BTC, Eth, Solana, Matic. I think it could be that prices at that price could exceed your target, but with Doge, BNB, Polkadot, I don't know or have lost hope with those coins, what do you think?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The best new cryptocurrencies to buy in 2024? on: February 12, 2024, 08:16:42 PM
You have a good projects listed here but most times its very hard to just conclude about all these project on what their outcome could be because at times altcoin poses a very high risk to invest on more especially with the current bull trend any coin mention now would seems to be the best, but the truth be told they can't survive for long run because after bull i don't think they could still find a place in the space. From what I am seeing these coin will surely end up being pump and dump, so as investor you need to target them at the right time to sell otherwise when that time is missed you would end up holding worthless coin.

what you say is very true because many people are fomo with the bull run trend coming soon if you don't know what you are buying I recommend don't buy research before buying something and choose altcoins that have potential and are very suitable for long term holding such as eth solana and others This is not financial advice but a token that I say can survive a bear market
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana blockchain on: February 12, 2024, 07:24:23 PM
The Solana network was affected yesterday and stopped processing transactions cause of a outage. The outage lasted for 5 hours.

It was the biggest crash on the network since 2 day outage in April. The outages on Solana network is because of node issues they say.

https://www.theblock.co/post/276237/solana-network-restarts-after-outage-that-lasted-five-hours

Yet, Solana is still one of the top 5 coins in market cap. With so many outages, the project should've been dead by now. I can't understand why people are still buying this coin when it's unreliable for day-to-day payments. Neither Bitcoin nor Ethereum have faced an interruption since the day they were launched. Solana's current situation shows us it's experimental and not ready for mainstream use. Developers should've kept Solana in "beta stage" until it passed all of the tests.

If SOL hasn't gone to $0 by now, it's because whales are manipulating the market. For some reason, VCs want to keep this "shitcoin" alive. I'd prefer a reliable and decentralized network like Ethereum, even if I have to pay higher fees and wait longer for confirmations. Unless Solana prioritizes decentralization and reliability, don't expect it to last a lifetime. Who knows what surprises we'll find in the future?

I don't agree with you about the comparison between Solana and ETH. Solana will be more popular with many people in the future than ethereum, even though the prices of the two are very different, but when many people complain about the expensive fees paid for ethereum, it doesn't hurt to hold or invest in solana. everything is fast and cheap, let's see the light that shines from Solana in 2024
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming altcoins on: February 12, 2024, 07:12:34 PM
There's one that I've been watching recently but it's not an upcoming one but was just listed a few months ago. namely the UP altcoin token is currently only listed on bitget even though the price is currently down from before. but I am very interested and curious about this altcoin.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: How is it possible to say there is no money in the bank on: February 11, 2024, 10:04:07 PM
Because your money is used to be owed to other people. so if you have a lot of money in deposits or ordinary savings. and want to take it all, the bank will have difficulty if you immediately give all your money.
So the bank will give time to provide the money you want to take maybe sent from its head office or the person paying the debt.

It's true that banks don't keep 100% of our money, they only keep 10-20% of our money, the rest they turn over or owe to other people. That's why if we want to withdraw all our money from the bank, it takes a week or more because the bank provides the money. First of all, that's the level of bullshit from banks. If one country withdraws all the money that is in the bank, the bank will be overwhelmed and go bankrupt. Many big banks have gone bankrupt. So be smart or look for assets to save your money so you can maintain your wealth.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you deal with financial stress? on: February 11, 2024, 09:58:59 PM
Maybe I'm stressing out too much because I'm yet to find proper housing to establish myself again after being away for over a year in the military. I'm generally an anxious person myself, but does anyone else feel the same, and how do you deal with it? How do you stay optimistic?

Don’t overthink! I experienced same stress before during pandemic since my job becomes temporarily close while I have a lot of fixed bills on monthly basis that need to be paid especially insurance.

I focus on my current resources and try sellings goods on social media which helps me a lot to get extra income. I live near the manufacturing area of goods which I resell it on lower price compared to retail. I will not overcome this stress if I will just overthink about the problem and stop finding solutions. Check what resources you have and capitalize on that to get extra profit that will cover your expenses.

I did the same thing as you selling online when my job or my office was closed. I had bills to pay every month even though I had no income at that time. The more I thought, the more stressed I became, so sometimes I didn't think too much about things. This is because we have to accept that when we are not well, I did what I could do, such as buying and selling online and in the end everything was fine until my financial condition improved over time.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should prioritize investment over saving on: February 11, 2024, 09:55:05 PM
Saving our hard earned money have never been a bad idea, but their are certain things we need to consider before thinking of saving, such as inflation.
Inflation is truly the real enemy to every money that is being saved up, because when the time is right like a year time, when it should be used for it purpose, the value wouldn't be as how it actually was when you started saving it, but on the other hand, if we have been investing that money into Bitcoin, land or gold bit by bit, over the course of a year, the value of that your investment would have added additional value compared to our savings that will be eaten up by inflation.
So too me we should think of investing more of our money than saving it, so that  inflation wouldn't eat it up.

Saving money all the time is the wrong thing in my opinion because maybe your money increases when you save but every year the fiat exchange rate decreases so you could say that we save too in vain, like walking in a different place with investing because our money can work for us. while saving we work for money, I think it's like that
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Quitting Smoking Has Two Big Benefits. on: February 11, 2024, 09:48:25 PM
Quitting smoking has two big benefits, and I've been doing it for over 3 months. And both can be said to be long-term investments, apart from long-term health, the money used to buy cigarettes can also be used to invest and I invested in Bitcoin.
In one month I can spend approximately $90 to buy cigarettes, and the price of the cigarettes I buy is around $2/pack for one pack a day and sometimes more than one pack.
And by quitting smoking, I was able to increase my regular monthly Bitcoin purchases from a portion of my monthly salary as well as $90 per month in cigarette money.
And I definitely felt a difference in my health and also saw a difference in my Bitcoin holdings after increasing my purchases, and I wish I could do it forever. Honestly, even though I don't do it, sometimes I am still tempted to want to smoke again when hanging out with friends and also at certain moments.
And the strong reason I stopped smoking was because my wife likes to nag me if I smoke at home because I have small children, and over time I decided to stop smoking. And previously I tried it several times but failed, and now I haven't smoked for more than 3 months and I hope I can do it forever because it has two extraordinary benefits. Health and can increase my investment.

It's absolutely true what you say smoking only wastes money, especially as the price of cigarettes continues to get more expensive than smoking. It's better to set aside your money to invest and you'll be healthier, but if you can't, start cutting back or buying cigarettes that are cheaper than usual, sometimes when we're stressed. We also need these cigarettes or don't smoke when necessary. These are tips and suggestions so you can increase your investment money and reduce smoking
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is technology really important for investment decisions? on: February 11, 2024, 09:00:22 PM
Of course technology is also important. But what's more important than that is trust. And trust can be built with a good reputation. But I was also surprised by the price of SOL which was not too affected by the problems often experienced on the Sol network related to power outages or the like. This is possible because the community has been formed strongly and the community believes that SOL will provide them with benefits if they continue to hold it. And I think this is also a good sign that Sol does have the most solid community.

That's right, I really agree with what you said, technology is indeed important, but the trust of people or the community is much more important because they still trust and use Solana, even though Solana has recently had problems, they are still solid and don't believe it. I'm really amazed by that.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a wallet that stores more than one crytpo on your desktop? on: February 10, 2024, 11:52:31 PM
Is there a wallet that stores more than one crytpo on your desktop?

Never put your assets in the same wallet because it is very risky if you want to use a cold wallet, but if not, store them in different wallets such as Metamask and others to minimize us losing all our assets when one wallet is lost and the other is not. just disappeared
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low cap altcoins best for rising price? on: February 10, 2024, 11:37:52 PM
Of course you can, if the timing is right, that's why timing is so necessary, newly released projects can increase many times over because they are supported by good market conditions.

That's right, I agree with your opinion, if you are good at timing the market then that is really necessary, but if not, don't do it because it requires extra research because not just anyone is good at timing the market. I personally prefer to pay in installments rather than waiting.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why this Altcoin called Worldcoin could have a huge potential? on: February 10, 2024, 11:28:15 PM
Ive been seeing this Worldcoin trending lately. So, I decided to make a little research on it because of that.
First of all, the coin is founded by Sam Altman who was a partner of Elon Musk in open AI. Apart from that, he is a Billionaire also. So, If you look at this coin from this point of view, It actually looks great with that. So, after checking the whitepaper, I see that's its an identity and Financial Network. And its also secure as described in the whitepaper. With this technology, you can scan your eyes to prove that you are a human being also. After seeing the coin ($WLD) trading on several exchanges like Binance, Bitget OKX and more, I feel more confident about the project and coin and I see huge potential in it. So I feel like sharing it here to see people's opinions also.

because behind WLD, who founded it, is the most influential person and focuses on the field of AI, that's why this coin has the potential to rise so high, especially since it has been traded on large exchanges such as Binance and others, that's why this coin has gone up. Correct me if I'm wrong
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: February 10, 2024, 11:08:24 PM
now in February 2024, altcoins are already growing rapidly, altseason is about to start, I'm sure eth, tron and others will be very useful for the future, that's my opinion and it's impossible for altcoins that there will be new altcoins and new narratives
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana network shuts down, will you still invest in SOL? on: February 10, 2024, 09:19:53 PM
That's one of the biggest problems with Solana, some people say that if Solana doesn't solve this problem, Solana will no longer be popular.
but some people say solana will survive and return to normal.

I will give my opinion about this I think Solana should solve this because if not people will not use the Solana network because of the many problems people will move to another network but Solana will not be silent about this case they will solve this problem as soon as possible otherwise they won't survive as long as this case hasn't been resolved, that's what I think
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest airdrop you've ever received? on: February 06, 2024, 11:48:02 PM
The potential crypto market always surprises us. There are serious and hard-working traders who still have to suffer losses when the market fluctuates, but sometimes luck can change the someone life. We have heard of cases where someone became a millionaire from DOGE[1], SHIB[2], PEPE[3]... Recently we know another lucky teenager who became a millionaire thanks to JUP token airdrop.

He has made over $1 million on a Jupiter airdrop, he invested time and resources into the platform and was able to maximize his earnings by using various features:

The teenager shared his strategy in a 12-min video, saying: "I focused on actively using all of Jupiter's tools. It's about being smart with your moves on the platform. I made over $1,000,000 on the $JUP airdrop[4]".

Although Airdrop/RetroActive hunters have been a popular profession over the past year as many projects have launched and there have been many campaigns to attract the community, success like this case is an exception. I think that he will receive many congratulations for working hard and receiving a well-deserved reward, but there will also be many people who are jealous. I hope he will use this great reward effectively for his life in the future.

I think events like this have a positive impact on the crypto market:
  • The luck and becoming a millionaire of an individual are always attractive to everyone: the crypto market will have new investors.
  • New projects will have more motivation to conduct big airdrops to be well promoted as Jupiter.
  • Many Airdrop hunters will participate, helping projects test platforms to detect bugs before they are exploited by hackers.

I have been participating in the crypto market since 2017 and have also received a few airdrops but usually they are only worth a few USD. Maybe I should collect more luck before becoming an Airdrop hunter Smiley

I want to hear your story in the Airdrop sector:
  • Have you ever participated in Airdrop?
  • What is the most valuable Airdrop you have ever received?
  • How did that airdrop help change your position and journey in the crypto market?

My experience of taking part in air drops is quite good but I don't get it more often than I get the first air drop that I got was a combo airdrop on the Combo Network. I got USD worth of tokens for around 120$ which was good enough for me when my position was a bit down and I really needed money to participate. Other air drops, that's all my experience of taking part in the air drop that I participated in and getting prizes
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next step for Solana? on: February 06, 2024, 11:37:51 PM
You know in every project there's something that causes a setback. Just like ETH. Its setback is the high fee rate but that of Solana is always blockchain or something similar. I know most of us have come across the latest news about blockchain being down for over 2 hours or there. My question is, do you think Sol is ready for the next phase with the same issue it faces over again? How can they tackle this because more projects seem to be interested in them but with this ongoing issue of theirs, how often can they keep up?

You know, is not about loving a project but it's also about how long they withstand some circumstances that won't affect their chain.

For those who haven't come across the news, you can read it here: https://cryptobriefing.com/solana-block-production-halts-validators-confirm-major-outage/

News about Solana with the same problem has also occurred several times before in the past years. But strangely this doesn't seem to really make the community abandon them. instead their community continues to grow positively. And now I even think that the blackout problem has become a habitual problem with Sol.  Roll Eyes

In my opinion, because the majority of people are switching from the ETH network to Solana because gas fees are cheaper and transactions are fast, that's why the problems faced by Solana have increased so much.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it valid to invest in a gaming projects? on: February 06, 2024, 11:25:58 PM
I think it is a good idea

Aside from it is something you can invest in, you might actually find it enjoyable and entertaining and like it said in its description there are a lot of earning opportunities not just in the form of investment

This types of projects will allow you to actually enjoy yourself while earning but note that you should still be careful and keep a level-head even when playing

It's true, but research more deeply before entering or playing the game so you don't experience losses and also study existing play to earn games before joining a new game, that's my advice.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Safe is MetaMask? on: February 06, 2024, 09:57:22 PM
If your assets are already large, you should self-custody using Trezor or Ledger. Warning first, this is not a sponsor or anything, I'm just giving advice because we have 100% full control over the assets we have. You have to learn that if your assets are already large.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bullish 2024 ! on: February 06, 2024, 08:48:17 PM
Currently many new projects with large funding raised are listed and it can be said that they are big projects because after listing some of them entered the top 50 of CMC. examples include APTOS ARBITRUM and SUI.
I mean, does the emergence of many new projects like this indicate that bullish is getting closer? What do you think ?

It could be that yes, the bull run is getting closer, I think, but this cycle is very different, not the same as the next bull run, because many big companies have entered the cryptocurrency market, I think the next bull run will be a bit predictable, that's my view, but hopefully it will be the same as the previous bull run.
