1  Economy / Economics / Re: if you think 18k btc is low wait until autumn ... on: July 01, 2022, 07:22:11 PM
Now btc has already touches $18k, and most likely the bearish season continues which will certainly bring more price drops for bitcoin. Well, as long as the market remains low and bearish, then we can just expect inevitable price downtrend as its what bear market is all about. After all, we won't sell our coins in times of losses, but this long term bear market will always bring a lot of opportunities to invest, we just have to invest in the right coins so we can expect huge profits after long term hodling.
Can we expect large investments in cryptocurrencies in the future from large funds and institutions, if in the context of the global crisis many are trying to get out of cryptocurrencies? If they do this now, they will incur losses and may not risk dealing with bitcoin in the future. But Sailor continues to buy bitcoin even now, so there will probably be true adherents who will promote cryptocurrencies.
Most large funds and institutions also exit their fund from stock, cryptocurrencies are no different. Till the stock market start pumping their money back to stock, then we might see a similar trend to crypto as well. The only chance large funds and institutions want to invest in cryptocurrencies right now is they must have the securities from the government. Similar to stock regulators so they know they won't take many risks.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: June 27, 2022, 06:14:15 PM
This doesn't age well. Is it just me or feel like they're going too fast and too forceful with all the transit and implementation the Bitcoin in El Salvador's economy. Not taking into account the bear market and high volatility from it pushes normal citizens to stay out. Only use it to the bare minimum to keep their fiat value stable.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about altcoin market on: June 27, 2022, 05:35:40 PM
Is polka-dot a good price at 7 dollars? This was its price two years ago, do you think that polka-dot can still go down or not? Have we met the bottom for altcoins or all these are just fake outs? What do you think about altcoin market.

You need to avoid projects that are dying and proceed with the new and trusted ones but this will take time for you to investigate the team behind that project in order to avoid getting scammed. When a bearish trend happened, some of the altcoins out there won't gonna survive after it and you might lose your investment if you happened to invest in those ones. That's why everyone is recommending investing in bitcoins because as of now, it is the safe haven for the investors. But I'm not closing the opportunity that the other altcoins bring, because some of them will have momentum after this bearish market.

Nowadays investing in altcoins can be quite risky, but if we intend to make a profit, we must accept that risk. It is very difficult to know what will be a scam project at this point, like the way Luna did, we won't know until it happens.
The best way is to focus 70%, 80% of assets in bitcoin and the rest you can research a few alts you consider worth holding.
In order to be successful, we must step outside our comfort zones and take risks.
Yeah, spending at least 70% on assets like BTC and maybe some top altcoins would lower the risk of investing the leftover 30% in other altcoins. But I think since we're at the bear market right now, other altcoins aren't worth the risk. Maybe we should stay away, have that leftover ready for BTC or top altcoins when they are dipping.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was 17600$ was the bottom ? on: June 27, 2022, 04:32:41 PM
It is difficult to predict what will happen in the next few weeks or months, especially in the current situation of the crypto market which is still in a bearish phase. it is likely that the price of bitcoin will fall even further. Even some people predict the lowest price of bitcoin is $13k. It's better for us to wait and see where the direction of the bitcoin price movement will go.
It's indeed difficult but as the market goes now, I said the chance it goes lower, even lower than the 17600$ price which a lot thought was the bottom. It isn't hard to see where we've gone when the situation in the world looks grim every day, both in economic and political stability.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are given this opportunity to choose which one will it be on: June 26, 2022, 08:31:34 PM
Even between ETH and BTC, I would choose ETH over BTC right now since ETH has the ETH 2.0 milestone in the future to rally and pump accordingly. BTC doesn't have a lot of leg to stretch anymore compare to ETH, at least in short term in my opinion.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: June 26, 2022, 08:04:08 PM
The market should be able to gradually recover, just that if you were to ask when the market could reach the peak, I reckon it wouldn't come till the next halving. We would probably see a pretty long period of steady movement, maybe a gradual increase even but it wouldn't be a sudden pump or anything imo. Just DCA in here imo, it's the best time since we're not going to see the peak any time soon so almost this entire period is pretty good as a time to invest.
I can assure you that next halving will see a different level of beast in crypto for sure. Think about it this way, before 2017 peak there weren't many people around, I was here and I can tell you that crypto wasn't a big thing at all. After that, we had a bit more people and we started to see a lot of retail investors come in and that was a great thing.

After the 2020-2021 run, we started to see not only a lot of people, and I mean like tens of millions of people in the crypto world, but we started to see super rich famous people like Elon, and a ton of companies with a lot of money like microstrategy. So, I have to say the next halving will be just a whole new level for sure, it is always growing even bigger.
What you talked about doesn't seem like was coming from the halving effect. It's just that Bitcoin and the crypto market become the norms that many news outlets start to pick up and run news about it. This help exposes cryptos to the mass and more and more people find it attractive in the high volatility of the crypto market to profit. Because of the overexposed, coup with the FED rate and inflation, we would need a lot of time to slowly recover back to the ATH.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Airdrop Sharing on: June 26, 2022, 07:37:17 PM
Anyone has any airdrop to share right now?

The market is so bad right now, it would be great to get free airdrop and wait for it to pamp!
I don't think there is an airdrop that will give you a lot of money, 2022 is really different from last year,
where there were many airdrops that gave us a lot of money, but don't worry,
if we collect airdrops and follow all of them, of course we will get the results too , and don't be discouraged

We can't earn enough through airdrops now that the market is in a shakey condition. Even top coins are not in good shape so we might end up being paid with shitcoins again. Airdrops nowadays aren't the same as before because most projects are having a hard time surviving this bear season.
Same with real life as the world going into recession, wage doesn't pay as before because of inflation. For works like doing an airdrop, takes with so little effort that doesn't worth anymore.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops vs Bounties on: June 25, 2022, 06:08:59 PM
Both are death now so currently answer is no more money airdrop or bounty. My advice don't spend huge time for participate bounty or airdrops programme and beside follow your real life business or study. Your rank is to low so you can join only social media bounty so 95% bounty is death now. Although try to others way for making money from internet.
Some users of the forum have been attempting to get into every bounty and airdrop possible, this only leads to a waste of time and electricity because these coins will be worth dust in the next few years and they will only be inflated with big but fake promises.

Still such users will not learn their lesson from older members of this forum and continue to do so. The craze behind bounties has currently reduced but it is still there. I dont get why such users dont attempt to improve their ranks gradually and then go for bitcoin paying signature campaigns.

Getting rich is not easy, but needs a clever approach, which is not going to be through bounties or airdrops.
Merit is the main obstacle for members to improve their rank. You need to make a lot of posts and threads in good quality to get enough Merit. For years doing that to rank up from Full Mem to Sr Mem or from Mem to Full Mem. So a lot of users don't have any choice but to stay with sign campaign, earning pitiful rewards with their rank.
Worse, the bear market also influences the price of bounties and airdrops to drop further even before they are rewarded to the participants.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin (BTC) Crash To $13K After The Fed Rate Hike? on: June 25, 2022, 04:52:43 PM
So, from what you guys said, Fed hike did affect crypto and BTC but not enough to cause it to crash to $17k alone. It means the next Fed rate hike will not be as devastating as the one before. Still, the market has some weak links that I fear would add oil to this: NFTs, TRX/USDD, Sol,...
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Will Not Devalue To Zero on: June 25, 2022, 04:44:26 PM
No chance for ethereum to devalue to the zero. Protocol has become a very popular protocol and this time bunch of people owned ethereum as their investment. The potential to go down will always there but not for going to the zero value. This is not possible to happen.
Thinking about something that has become a part of people's life in the crypto to be devalued to the zero is pretty naive. People already considered ethereum as an investment.
So many address that was holding ethereum.
Yes, too many projects were at stake and part of ETH ecosystem. They of course will never let their main network go bankrupt or come to zero. Like shareholders offer to buy more stakes to keep the company going. Or investors want to buy ETH at the dip when it was cheap enough for them.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties dead? on: June 24, 2022, 04:42:41 PM
I think true the bounty time ended and there has no big money from it. Even i am still work in few bounty which is 5-10$ my salary target. Anyway if the green market will make up soon then could be possible good days for upcoming bounty.
Bounty campaign being affected by the market trend. The developers wanna use their money for the promotion if the market was in a good condition but look at how bad the market right now is. I meant you must also aware if these days so many people being scared to invest their money into the crypto. That's why developers are holding themselves to run promotion campaign. I see that some campaigns were pausing their campaign due to the market condition.
Not just the market trend. Bounty campaigns are also affected by time as people slowly smart up in the way to handle and give out rewards. You rarely found an overpay bounty anymore since rates are now fixed to some extent. Bounty managers becoming more professional also affected it.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with scam copycats of YFI on: August 31, 2020, 01:35:13 PM
The wild appearance of YFI and how unnature it got to such a high price already put a lot of investor and trader at lost. Now, those YFI copycats come like a wildfire and I already saw a number of people fall for FOMO of them. This YFI coin really brings out a lot of trouble with it and I'm sure the YFI and its copycats are going to be dump soon.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: August 17, 2020, 01:51:56 PM
The price of ETH has increased many times compared to before. And if you still hold 4 ETH then I believe you now have nearly $ 2000 from it, and you can reinvest with this money. If you invest carefully and scientifically, I believe you will quickly get back profits in 6 months
Yes, $430 x 4 ETH = $1720 to be precise. If he still got hold on the last 4 ETH, he is at least got half of what 14 ETH was worth back in May (~$3000, I think). This is what crypto about and everyone should never give up hope because the chance you can earn back your loss is there.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time on: August 06, 2020, 06:10:46 PM
Release a new project around a hard time where everyone tries the best way as they can to make some money? I don't think that is a good idea, to be honest. Not many investors have carefree thinking and more investors with a picky attitude about their investment. Introduce a new project around this time doesn't yield a good result. I think any new project should be on low profile and waiting for everything back to order before making an announcement for their project.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be the best time to invest? on: August 02, 2020, 07:37:36 PM
Never too late to invest in an altcoin when you saw the price was gradually raising. Tho, you need to plan your entry point and exit point if somehow, it has a weird move and falling down.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: August 02, 2020, 07:24:06 PM
I think people are not easily trusting like before as not many new altcoin projects good enough. Old altcoin projects already have a hard time keeping their investors to believe in them. So a market like that, Bitcoin dominance is not unexpected.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: August 01, 2020, 07:42:16 PM
I think there is only one reason for this: greed.

People are greedy and most of the times they know there is a scam but they hope they can get out before it falls down. Mostly they couldn't.
Yeah, most victim of a scam is 10% of naive idiots while 90% of greedy pigs who thinks they could pull out and make a sizeable profit. Heck, most scams just exploit the greed of people to work so I don't have any empathy for the victim of obvious scams.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree with the experts? on: August 01, 2020, 07:37:53 PM
I don't agree with any self-proclaim cryptocurrency expert. Only follow a few high reputation crypto predictions expect but they always have said their predictions should be taken with a grain of salt. Everyone can see the covid making every sector looking bleak so you don't need cryptocurrency experts for a simple remark.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much you earn in bounty hunting for the year 2019-2020 on: August 01, 2020, 04:08:24 PM
Bounty hunting still works and earn a couple of dollars for each bounty project, the rate would be higher if you have a better rank for the signature campaign. Tho there are no ICO projects like it use to be so no bounty for them. Mine highest paid in this year would be $200 for 1 month in the signature campaign. Nowadays, there is a group call Bounty Detective that has been employed in serval bounty projects.
