I know El Salvador is very crypto friendly , are there any exchanges on there?
Their legal tender now is BTC and I've seen some local exchanges there being used by their locals that has features that helps them with paying their stuff and not just with qr codes but also with their bills and other utilities. I was wondering also how much does it cost to get a coin on an exchange these days? I rememeber years ago it use to cost a bitcoin, but a bitcoin was WAY less then it cost now.
Nothing has changed, you can get it by directly purchasing it to them. Where did you experienced or heard that it costs us a bitcoin to have a bitcoin? where are these exchanges? I would like to see how they set them up and what coins are there or just explore them I want to set up a node based system of dedicated servers there so people can play a video game online. I think el salvador would be a good place to experiment I heard it used to cost a bit coin during the wild wild west days of cyrto currency before the "know your customer" laws to get your coin on an exchange but I do remember more then one exchange running off with everyones money. There was some decentrailed exchanges I might still have an account to, I dont even rememever some of the names in 2024

NEOXA master node - (GAMING AND ADVERTISING) get paid as people play GTA and FORTNITE and several other games.
GALA MUSIC AND FILM node - (MUSIC AND FILM) get paid for music and films attached to your node. node holders split royalties with artist and song holders.
So nodes arent the problem. people chasing scams in hopes of getting rich quick seems to be.
thats true I was thinking I might need a node based system based on dedicated servers, get paid to host the servers in a certain region. does the node based system know how long you are online? I need to reward the dedicated servers hosting with the most uptime and or players

I would like to incorporate a crypto coin to my game and pay people running dedicated servers with it.
which is the best coin or algorithm for this?
Why not just make it a fun game without having the motivation of people that they'll just play it because there's sort of token that they can get from it? Well, I am not hater but it's actually a good integration when there are tokens that you can get as a reward when you play a game. But in the past, we all have seen these NFT games that have been motivational to many gamers but then it has ended up when the hype is done and the active players become lesser. I need to be able to pay people for running my dedicated server, People out in russia would like to set up servers and play but it would lag to much if I run it in the US, and or if I host it on my PC and vice versa there will be LAG to avoid this, I could set up a dedicated server in the region so the players wont lag or else if I release the game it will get bad reviews because of the lag I cant have 1 server in the US with people from russia, brazil and china playing https://streamable.com/g14z0aand I would like to do the crypto coin thing before I go that route. At least with my coin or what ever I do, there is an actual product. Having a crypto coin backed by a game is an interesting concept, and since the game is ready for a beta release it would be nice to release it and see if it can grow organically

not a meme coin, its a coin to run dedicated servers.
for example, the cost of running a dedicated server is expensive, But these days people have fiber optics with 300 up and 300 down and can go higher, the coin will be backed by the actual virtual reality multiplayer game, so its backed by an actual product you can play and has replay value
its also a PC game , and a mobile game, so everyone can play together its not just a virtual reality game, its cross platform
How can a pc/mobile game be "backed" by a cryptocurrency? Games that integrate crypto have tokens that have value because these games have economies and are multiplayer. A VR survival horror game, on the other hand, I don't know how a token would be useful in this case. while I DO have the option to "host" games, I also would like dedicated servers as they are more secure and less chances of cheating. Also dedicated servers run better the game itself is just a game, how ever the coin will be backed by the game, meaning, if someone buys a coin, they also get the game https://streamable.com/g14z0aI would need a coin that tracked for example, how long the server has been up and running, how much Players are there. The idea is to set up my own dedicated servers all around the world, so I wont be at the mercy of amazon and those other big names.\ I can have a cloth system, weapon system, those things are later on, I am more interested in algorithms and what new tech is out there in the crypto world, its takes a lot of time and research . For example, proof of stake is when you stay online and collect coins, I need people to run my server (stay online) and get paid.

I have been thinking about making money in cryptocurrency, but I'm hesitant to try because I don't want to get scammed i.e. didn't get any rewards for the effort I spent. I'm really curious with the current hype in 2024 and how much you've make from it? I know that scam is inevitable in altcoins, so I might be looking to earn with less risk. What I know the current hypes in 2024 are: 1. Testnet airdrop 2. Meme coins What about NFT or ordinals? but I think it's really risky because it's non fungible and you can't make sure people will buy your token. What about P2E games? I haven't hear it anymore. Probably I missed other hypes or if you know the another way of making money, feel free to comment. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I am currently looking into making a crypto coin for a PC-Mobile-Virtual Reality Survival Horror game I am working on I need dedicated server so I plan to create a crypto coin proof of stake type of coin which will pay those running the servers. I dont understand MEME coins because they are not backed by a product. at least with the coin I eventually create, it will be backed by an actual game.

As you already have been advised, you can choose to create a token and not a coin in this, also know all the required technicalities in doing so and the financial demands one will require to fulfil before he can establish creating one, just as we can view from the most performing currencies are those with higher market capitalization, so you may have to think about this if you're capable or will look in for collaboration in launching for such. read more on this https://cointelegraph.com/learn/a-step-by-step-beginners-guide-to-creating-your-first-cryptocurrency-tokenI think I would need a proof of stake, the stake being the time running the server without interruptions Can tokens also be proof of stakes?

Not sure why you'd want a cryptocurrency with no other use at all(unless you're creating some sort of memecoin here), but you're going to want to create a token, not a coin. It'll be totally up to you, but you're better off going with the SPL or BEP20 standard; definitely not ERC20.

I forgot to mention since I live in the US I would need an "environmentally friendly" coin
proof of work coins will soon be outlawed because of the pollution they cause so I would like to get maybe a proof of stake coin, or something that does not require a GPU to mine, trying to make this future proof

I heard they will pass laws banning the mining of bit coin in america because its to bad for the enviornment so I was looking for a proof of work coin so if someone say leaves the PC on they can get paid little by little.
are all proof of work coins the same? are the as safe as proof of work?

Bitcoin is back at 10k but every single alt coin hasn't really gone up
The growth is un organic and fake , maybe by 2 or 3 whales or maybe even a corrupt exchange
You may be wrong, the recent price surge doesn't look like a pump an dump, the growth has been organic in contrary what you said. Anyway time will judge if you are right or wrong. I told you so https://finance.yahoo.com/m/9ff5163b-f54b-3fca-a03a-343ea99beae4/bitcoin’s-crash-hurts-the.html Bitcoin (BTCUSD) turned around and slammed the betting public’s fingers in the door — yet again — on Thursday, crashing more than $3,000, or 23%, from the previous day’s peak in a matter of hours. The cryptocurrency’s sharp turnaround came after days of big gains had started to draw the Main Street speculators back into the trade.
