2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Early Bitcoin forks? (e.g Litecoin) on: January 06, 2018, 09:58:54 AM
According to Wikipedia, Bitcoin cash was the first Bitcoin fork... is this correct?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Bitcoin_forks

If there are earlier forks, would old Bitcoin private keys be 'redeemable' from that fork?

4  Economy / Services / Re: Need a video editor to create a short trailer on: October 18, 2015, 02:04:35 PM
Need a few clips putting together and edited into an edgy "coming soon" trailer.
Total length of clips is ~5 mins and the final edit needs to be between 30-40s.
Please PM me with your price and example work you have done.
Potential for future work if the video is good.

Hey.

I can help you with those clips.
I will send you a PM very soon. Have a great day.

Best regards.

Thanks, still looking for help with this. The clips are from a drone and the project is based in the mountains, so quite an interesting job.

In case you need professional video contact devthedev: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1128913.msg12140752#msg12140752 but I think he would price 0.1+ btc.

Thank you, I have PM'd him.

And how much are you paying for this? BTW will you not be paying if you don't like it?

Good questions. At this stage I want to see what people are charging before I set a price. I'm also happy to pay before work is carried out (if they are trustworthy) or a 50/50 split before/after.

8  Economy / Services / Re: Aerospace Engineering graduate looking for work on: November 01, 2014, 09:03:53 PM
Nobody else noticed that he mentioned he will work for a relatively cheap rate of 1 BTC/Hour?
What kind of rates would you charge?

It depends on the job to be honest... but it won't be expensive (~1 BTC/hour). Send me a message if you are interested.

Back when this thread started, BTC was only $10~$40 each. Given an Aerospace Engineer typically earns $60~$100 per hour, the rates charged at time of writing were cheap.

Still available for work. Send me a PM if interested.

Here is the auction with details and photos etc:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131262597065?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

I’m selling this wonderful bicycle as I’m moving away this winter and sadly will not be able to do any more adventures on it. I could not have asked for a more trusty companion on some awesome journeys. The bike is in great shape and could easily go around the world in its current state. There are a few scratches on the frame and pannier racks as expected but all the bicycle components are sound. All of the extra equipment is also in working order, with a few bits of cosmetic damage here and there – nothing which affects its ability to do the job. Everything has just been thoroughly cleaned (including the panniers). The bike needs to be collected or you can organise a courier to pick it up.
The Bike
Merida Touring or Commuting Bike Bicycle
Crossway TFS 100 – Aluminium build
Suitable for male/female between 5ft 7inches and 6ft
Shimano HBNX21 dynamo – fully fitted, with fuse, controller unit and 30pin Apple (iPhone/iPod) connector. Can be swapped for other connectors.

Shimano V-brake ‘trigger shifters’
24 gears
Shimano Acera rear derailleur
SR Suntor front derailleur
2 handlebars included - Adjustable height/angle handlebar mount

Extras:
ACOR rear pannier rack – alloy tubing and 25kg load – RRP £42
Avenir front pannier rack – allow tubing ‘low rider’ style – RRP £25
Cateye Velo wireless cycle computer – RRP £35
Topeak Pocket Rocket Pump mounted to frame – RRP £15
Avenir pannier bags with hi-viz waterproof covers – RRP £60

16  Economy / Services / Re: Offer CAD Service, technical drawing on: July 21, 2014, 11:57:09 AM
I only have a business version for autocad. but its possible to import .sldprt into autocad.

So i can help you with your problem. Just contact me via PM with the explicit details.

Thanks but I'll pass. I was really looking for native Solidworks. I believe solidworks is geared more towards 3D modeling and parts assembly, and autocad is great for 2D drawings but lack a lot of the 3D features, even though it can import solidworks files.

I am fluent in Solidworks, PM me for more info Smiley

Hi Singapore!

How many are working Bitcoin ATMs there at the moment?
Do they both do cash deposit and withdrawals? Any fees during cash outs?
Thanks Smiley

Saw one in Bartini Kitchen the other day which offers cash in and out Smiley not sure about fees but won't be a lot  Wink

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Southeast Asia? on: June 28, 2014, 02:25:58 PM
Dear all,

I'm currently cycling all around Southeast Asia (www.jackandiva.com - beta) and looking to spend/trade some BTC along the way (it's the only money we have to fund the trip!). Not much can be found on http://coinmap.org for the remote parts of S.E.A. and neither on https://localbitcoins.com.... do you guys know of places which accept BTC or people that want to buy? Any other suggestions?

We're really keen to pay for things in BTC and help promote it if possible!

Thanks!  Smiley
wow.
I really give awards for you, friend. it is a very great trip. I want to participate with you. because I live in Indonesia. and Indonesia is Southeast asia. Bali may be one of suitable place for it. however, where I live far away from there. it took several days to achieve it: D

We are in Pekanbaru, heading to Bukittinggi tomorrow hopefully - where are you? Bali may be too far away from us too Sad Did you go on a trip there?
Bukittingi.. yeah I'm not some far away. it only took half an hour reached its Cheesy

Just sent you a message. We arrive in Bukittinggi tomorrow but not sure where we are staying yet (hotel etc.). Will be there for ~5 days. Get in touch!
