1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the price sticked to 620-630$? on: June 12, 2014, 01:57:00 PM

So sad. However I understand you because this is unusual for bitcoin - usually they are worth more today than yesterday.  Wink
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bubble starting to burst? on: June 12, 2014, 12:48:26 PM
so are we going to se 10k by 2015 or not?

I do not think we will see 10 k price this year but the highest price of the year is 7000 USD. Next year it will be much more over 10 k.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My House! on: June 12, 2014, 11:15:07 AM
I am back Smiley Been busy doing other things since I sold my house for bitcoin, and haven't really been following the price that closely. I check every so often and lo and behold it is back to $660+ right now!!!!!!! Well it looks like my $400K investment is going to make me a millionaire very soon. Now back to what I was doing... enjoying life.

u sold ur house for btc but don't check the prices? either balls of steel or fibbing  Roll Eyes

Apparently he is a young man with nerves made out of steel.
Indeed he will become something great.

Young men have life ahead, not back. If he were 60 yrs old about to retire it would be smarter to look for investment with less volatility but he is able to build his life even if he lost every penny in bitcoin.
That's the attitude of strong hands.

BTW, while people are screaming here crash, I am buying a little every now and then.  Wink Perhaps I am crazy while I ignore all the stupid charts that shows bitcoin crashing back to the levels it was a couple months ago (360 USD).

To me this looks pure scam.
I do not recommend anyone investing any FAS shares unless you are not willing to get screwed.

Seems that the investors are looking for hefty dividends on timely manner and this share doesn't offer them anymore so the investors got disappointed and are desperately trying to get rid of the shares.
On timely manner paid regular hefty dividends are the only thing that makes the money flowing back to the share.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ### ANN FAS ### INSTANT ALTCOIN MINING ### NEW AUCTION RULES ## on: May 30, 2014, 07:32:52 AM
Keep paying dividends on timely manner.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ### ANN FAS ### INSTANT ALTCOIN MINING ### NEW AUCTION RULES ## on: May 27, 2014, 05:34:31 AM
Thank you!

Looks good!
Now it is important to let the price grow.
Perhaps the mining hardware fund can be used to purchase more hardware?
Then it allows the dividend payments on more timely manner.
Bitcoin is gaining some value.

One good coin to mine might be Monero, if you are using CPU.
The hardware fund should be used for buying new hardware always as soon as it is possible. The FAS needs markets and it gets it when there is constant and increasing dividend flow.
When the markets for FAS share are back, then might be good idea to little more new shares but first it should rise like 3 or even 4.  Grin

When next dividend payout?

When does those new miners start mining hefty dividends?

The price is surprisingly easy to predict based on the previous rallies.
However there might indeed be a blackswan event that will drive the BTC to 700 000 USD at this rally. The probability for this is perhaps 5 % or less.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: May 14, 2014, 04:37:24 PM
And it is rallying: 0.447 touched for the first time in 72 hours!

We've come (fallen) a long way if this is what constitutes a rally nowadays!

every rally has to start somewhere.

It will probably encounter some form of resistance around ~450, ~470 ~500, ~670 and of course ~1000 and ~1400 (and probably more price points) but it will eventually go pretty fast and it seems to be starting now. It will probably take a couple of week or even a month or two to fully develop though but all signs are pointing towards a forming rally.

And the top will most likely be somewhere between 5000 and 7000 or something indeed.
I think it very hard to call the next top already.
It really depends on all the news.
For example, when a government declares bitcoin national currency, BTC goes much higher than 7000 (add a couple zeros)
But, when proof exist  of a fatal flaw in bitcoin we pretty much go to zero.

But, I very much like the binary bet.

It will not most likely go to 700 000 USD at this rally but 7000 is realistic based on so many previous rallies.

The next bubble will be somewhere between 5000-7000 USD.

We are witnessing with our very own eyes the opportunity to purchase 1:1,000,000th of the money supply of this world, with one click, for $5,000, which is 1:10,000,000,000 of the fiat supply of the world.

Do the division: money is going for 1:10,000 of the price of fiat.

I don't trust the government that much.

The history sides with me. The bitcoins the Norwegian guy bought for the total of $5 in 2009, bought him an apartment in 2014. If kept in fiat, it would have bought him - a sandwich.

Reptilian, not even a sandwhich. In Finland you need to pay something like 8 USD for sandwhich (6 euros).
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ### ANN FAS ### INSTANT ALTCOIN MINING ### NEW AUCTION RULES ## on: May 14, 2014, 11:42:46 AM
It is crucial now for the FAS share to mine the most profitable coins and dump them instantly and pay dividends.
I hope you have your miners now running with full speed.

Seems the FAS share market is dying because not paid dividends enough.
It is better for some time just mine and pay dividends before new share issues because seems the share issues makes the dividends coming less regularly. There is always the separate fund for new miners - this is excellent tool for using buying new hardware for some time. Now just the market of this share should stabilize/rise back to 3 or even 4.

Special cocktails at the bar:

- Black Russian

- Bloody China

- "To the Moon"

- The Gox (served flaming)

Seriously though, it would be worth getting someone to design a range of Bitcoin-themed drinks

+1

Definetely.  Grin

I hope the new miners will increase the dividend income.
I have noticed the altcoin markets are bearish because bitcoin is bearish too. However, it is expected that Bitcoin will make new ATHs later this year (minimum 3000 USD and maximum 7000 USD).

Are you guys mining still? I wonder why the dividend payments are getting slower and slower.

Hello guys,

I'm french, ( french forum talk about everything except coins...)

-I placed an order at 448 this morning on Kraken, and I realised that it passed while I was eating at restaurant...I would have canceled it when I see how it's going down, but it's done, my first BTC !

So what would you do if you had about 950 dollars to buy BTC? Buy now ? Wait ?

Buy.
There is a high chance BTC will be priced 7000 USD by the end of this year. When the rise starts, it will be tremendous based on previous rises.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 16, 2014, 10:06:54 AM
Today I poured fresh cash in Bitstamp at 499 USD. It wasn't the lowest point but still it was bargain. The megatrend of bull-run will not end until 7000 USD/BTC. There might be some short flashcrashes along the way but the overall picture looks very bright.
Those who invest right now and are able to waite for 5-7 months will see pretty handsome ROI.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 15, 2014, 11:12:59 AM
Please short BTC because I have fresh cash flooding into BTC markets.
I am expecting the next goal to be 6500-7000 USD before the next major correction. It will take probably 4-6 months to achieve these levels.
