1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any successful bounty projects since 2018? on: September 30, 2019, 11:37:38 PM
99% of the bounties today are scams by people who are just looking to pump and dump their coin after creating a bunch of hype. if you have been part of one of these scams in the past, then you will know what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, we need more regulation in the space before such fraudulent activities can stop.

Bitcoin trading is a risky proposition. Well you will likely profit most of the time, sometimes you will buy high but the market will not come back down and you will lost everything. well you won't lose everything, but you will have to re-buy into the market and you will lose some money, and it won't be good. so you should think carefully about if the risk is worth the reward for you.

This big drop in hashrate is kind of unprecedented. Well not really, but despite that there have been big drops in the past, this one is pretty big compared to normal.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between Bitcoin and Facebook's Libra on: September 30, 2019, 11:31:31 PM
Facebook Libra is a centralized going which cannot be compared to bitcoin. Yes it may be a cryptocurrency, but when one company controls it, it's basically defeats the purpose of what crypto is all about, which is independence.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting too emotional while trading crypto on: September 30, 2019, 10:27:07 PM
emotions do not belong in day trading. It is already stressful enough, and the computers and systems analyzing charts do not have emotions like you do. So if you are crying after losing some money, just remember the computer doesn't have feelings, so it will have a big advantage over you.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: September 30, 2019, 10:26:23 PM
investing is usually better than saving because you can grow your money. However in a bear market, it may be better to save money because the market goes down. over although investing is better because you can grow your money over time. Saving is also good to have a financial security net.

Quantum computers, some people think that they would be a risk to bitcoin... However, there is something called quantum resistant address is. 10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy using Bitcoin on: September 30, 2019, 10:24:02 PM
if you want to buy using Bitcoin, between an individual person and yourself, then you should use an escrow service. An escrow service will hold your Bitcoin so that the other party can't run away with your Bitcoin without giving you the product. If you want to purchase on a website , ensure that they use a qualified program like pit pay or other that is well-known not to be a scam.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Relation To Bitcoin Cash on: September 30, 2019, 10:22:46 PM
Bitcoin cash is just too 4 coin made by a loser who tried taking over Bitcoin. Well maybe he had good intentions, but they are ultimately wrong. Bitcoin is the king and is here to stay. And people who are deceived by Bitcoin cash, despite their good intentions or thoughts or opinions, will eventually lose in the end. 4 coin made by a loser who tried taking over Bitcoin. Well maybe he had good intentions, but they are ultimately wrong. Bitcoin is the king and is here to stay. And people who are deceived by Bitcoin cash, despite their good intentions or thoughts or opinions, will eventually lose in the end.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legal and illegal countries on: September 30, 2019, 10:21:54 PM
they can try to illegally eyes Bitcoin, but they will never succeed. The technology doesn't allow for it to be blocked or banned. Anyone can download a crypto wallet on their phone, and start buying and selling Bitcoin. Yes it may be more difficult in some countries, but where there's a will there's a way.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin already won ? on: September 30, 2019, 10:20:57 PM
There is no win or lose. Yes, Bitcoin is currently dominating the cryptocurrency space by far. However, there is no such thing as winning or losing because many coins have different purposes and Bitcoin just happens to be the king. So you can say that since Bitcoin is King, he is winning. but if the King has no population, then what's the point? So all of the coins matter because they contribute to the cryptocurrency infrastructure and ecosystem.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: September 30, 2019, 10:19:09 PM
It isn't about us eliminating fiat currency. Things happen naturally, in terms of if financial markets push fiat currency out of existence, then that's what was meant to be. However, if there are uses for fiat currency in the future then it will probably stay. We can't predict the market, so we should just do what's right and see what happens.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Trade war Influences on cryptocurrency on: September 30, 2019, 10:17:57 PM
the trade war is good for cryptocurrency. Actually, it doesn't have much of an effect on it. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is going to succeed regardless of any trade war or other war because ultimately the technology is what matters at the end of the day, and people are benefiting from blockchain technology on an everyday basis.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: September 30, 2019, 09:46:38 PM
Big risk comes with big reward sometimes, and sometimes it comes with big failure. It doesn't mean you are right or wrong, it is just in the nature of the act of taking risk itself. Therefore think carefully before taking big risk because it may Result in a big loss. Maybe it's better to take smaller risks, to avoid losing.
17  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: September 30, 2019, 09:45:40 PM
Kyc is definitely a benefit because we need more regulation in the crypto industry. Regulation prevents fraud crime and offers overall better social affect, instead of people using Bitcoin for nefarious purposes. It's inevitable that kyc will become the norm in this industry, and we should be wary of any business or exchange which doesn't require it.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Used Computer Equipment For CryptoCurrency Unsafe? on: September 30, 2019, 09:43:55 PM
What you pie isn't what's unsafe, it's who you buy from. Who is the vendor, and do you trust them? If you can't trust the person who you are buying from, for some reason, then you should consider doing more research before buying.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not a "store of value" or "medium of exchange" ... on: September 30, 2019, 09:41:47 PM
They also forget the fact that virtually all money today it's just that , virtual. if they believe in virtual money, and they accept virtual money at their stores and retail locations, then why wouldn't investors and institutions accept Bitcoin, which is essentially a better form, I'm more secure form of the fairy virtual money they already except.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand risk in crypto on: September 30, 2019, 08:42:18 PM
It's impossible to detect risk on everyday basis. We can only invest in the moment and hope the price rises. If the price falls, we must be patient until it rises again above the initial buying price. Otherwise, well we can't predict the future.
