1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PYRA] Pyramids | X11 PoW | DGW v3 | No IPO | Egyptian Crypto Currency on: June 09, 2014, 09:32:34 PM
700k premine with the first blocks having a 90 coin reward. So that's 7778 blocks of premine. It'll take the network 3889 minutes / 64.1 hours to generate the amount of premine. And then there's only 35k reserved for bounties? When does the dev plan on dumping the other 665k?

If you feel this coin is so bad, why are you  still here? What do you get from complaining?  Roll Eyes

premine is only 0.7 % what are you complaining about ? and we are planing longterm holding we will help it rise

dumping only make coin die . why we would make our project die this is nonsense

You just didn't say that... You would let it die at the same moment you can pull out nice amount of BTC from premine. That is not nonsense, that is in basic human nature, also called greed.

this is a community long term coin , sorry dumping isn't on our agenda , if we are looking this much for profit ,we would have made an IPO , this isn't a pump and dump coin
you don't get it do you ? this is our last hope to free our people from corruption

Then what are your plans for the other 665k premine? And we also need a block explorer and you need to make the premine addy public. If you fail to take these steps it'll just be another dev dumped shitcoin like all the others that we've seen before. Just some text on a forum is not enough.

Those it matter?  Coin owners should be able to receive some money for theirself, no? If he work for his coin then this is more then enough, people are need to start thinking, "DO I WORK FOR FREE IN REAL LIFE?" If this answer is no, then "WHY SHOULD COIN OWNER NOT RECEIVE SOME MONEY FOR ALL THEIR WORK?"

Yeah, b/c it's a lot of work to copy-paste a coin and not having any clear goals on future development.

Even a copy-paste coin takes a considerable amount of work if you want to get everything working fine. If you feel it is that bad if the dev gets something for his work, well, then I suggest you start working for free... Or even better, start competing and launch a coin of your own that fulfills your requirements and then you do this work without getting paid.

Well, I'm just concerned that the only interest of the dev is to dump the coin once it hits an exchange and thus far he hasn't done anything except saying stuff like 'only time will tell' to show us that his intentions are indeed genuine.

Now that is true, it IS a concern, but, hard as i may be, it is true - only time will tell. I prefer trying to trust people who put a lot of work into something and yes, sometimes I do get disappointed, but most of the times I don't.

It would be great if dev would develop a little more on the plans he has for the coin, it would be great for the coin and the Community. If dev eventually dumps all, more or less, of his coins, I am fine with that, as long as it is done in way that does not instantly kill the coin.

Due to the forking we recommend everyone to choose one of the pools decided by the dev to be on correct fork!

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Millionaire Coin (MIL) - Launched! on: June 08, 2014, 07:27:05 PM
We are shutting down our pool. We are certain we are on the original chain, but the chain forked very early and since we have been unable to resync to the wallet dev says is the correct one, we feel it is not fair to keep our stratum up and running.

We are sorry about this and apololgize for the problems this may have caused those of you who choose to mine with us.

We recommend all miners to go to one of the pools using the now dominating fork (and by dev declared to be the correct one).

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Millionaire Coin (MIL) - Launched! on: June 08, 2014, 07:08:32 PM
Well, we now have THREE different wallets downloaded and installed on THREE computers on different networks and they ALL show block 136.

Explain that, dev!

And we are using the conf provided by dev.

cryptopool.eu.  you are on block 124.  so you are on wrong fork.

I belive that Cryptopool is on right fork, but we have to wait what the resync will show!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Millionaire Coin (MIL) - Launched! on: June 08, 2014, 06:55:19 PM

http://mil.cryptopool.eu i think you are on the wrong fork

We are checking this, but we believe we are on the right fork. Restarting and resyncing to make sure.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]ROM - X11-POS ONLY. 15M - Yearly 30% POS on: June 06, 2014, 12:47:29 AM
What was it he said that you did not understand?

An altcoin will only survive a very short time if does not have the support of the Community and the Dev. This means things need to happen more or less every day.

We have seen at 600 satoshi high, but volume now is low and price is 90 satoshis and this can go either way.

If there are no news, coin will very quickly go into oblivion and die, but, on the other hand, if there are good news and a supporting Community, it may go the other way and stabilize at a few hundreds (or more) satoshis.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]ROM - X11-POS ONLY NOW on: June 01, 2014, 11:25:43 PM
We are experiencing these very same problems with the syncing of the new wallet. First we thought it was due to lack of nodes, but this appears to be something else. It has been syncing for 10 hours now and it is not anywhere near complete yet...

We are trying to find out what is wrong, but no luck so far.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]ROM - X11-POW/POS COIN PLEASE DOWNLOAD NEW WALLET!!!!! on: May 31, 2014, 09:28:59 PM
We have problem with our wallet, we are working hard to get your coins out of it.

http://rom.cryptopool.eu

//Cryptopool team

Is the problem just because we don't have enough network activity?

We believe there is a low network activity we have huge problems to resync all blocks with the network.

Are there anyone that have any nodes that we can add to solved this problem?

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]ROM - X11-POW/POS COIN - LAUNCHED! on: May 30, 2014, 08:53:06 AM
Network hashrate is dying out. I think it almost all relegated to a single pool at this point.

Yes, it looks like a failure....i hope that my IPO coins will be worth something.... I've heard that it should be listed tonight on bittrex, so maybe then some more activity will happen, as it looks like one of the fastest failures in X11 history...Making a copy of Citizencoin is never as good as the original one Smiley CIV big failure, ROM failure, who will be the next CTZ clone?

Told ya.... block rewards too low Smiley No miner in his right mind will be able to profitbly mine this...

Well, it is quite possible to mine this coin right now, no problem at all...
