Hi dear BGL community!
Please note that 0.1.11 build was recreated and reuploaded, previous one contained a bug related to getblocktemplate RPC method not working, it is fixed now, and github release is actual (as well as official website links).

Hi dear BGL community! In accordance to the positive trends towards decentralization in EVM networks, we made a deploy or WBGL to - Optimism (L2 rollup) chain https://optimistic.etherscan.io/token/0x2ba64efb7a4ec8983e22a49c81fa216ac33f383aBGL mainnet custodian address: bgl1q327ljj0tzja2j7mvfnyfeqenhazwfcpha0xz88 - Arbitrum (L2 rollup) chain https://arbiscan.io/token/0x2ba64efb7a4ec8983e22a49c81fa216ac33f383aBGL mainnet custodian address: bgl1qhhsh234z4fzrwcncta657etyd36ayt67qvvn3a Please note, that the contract addresses remain (intentionally) the same across networks. Total supply is now symbolic 1000 WBGL on each. Let's work on the ideas of usage on these networks, we also would focus on bridges and exchanges, I already asked guys working on current bridge.

Hi dear BGL community!
If you intend to hold and own your BGL, then store your coins in BGL mainnet on cold wallet. This is most secure and reliable way. Bridge, pancakeswap are to provide means of exchange, the main function of wrapped tokens is to provide exchange and liquidity without CEXes. The BSC blockchain is not fully decentralized (although it has many good points). Remember BTC's old saying, not your keys - not your coins, it stays true.

Hi dear community! going with the numerous requests here, we have an offer from CEX to get listed, here's the details (below). Who could lead this process? Please DM me and let's do it! 1. Select the listing package, then we will send you a contract for signing. Note that, the price for erc20 token and altcoin will be different. Please refer to the price column accordingly. https://imgur.com/a/pUE4vTM2. Process payment. 3. Submit necessary information for the listing integration. One of the core team members of the project will do these required steps: 📍Step 1: Register an account on https://vindax.com/ + Pass KYC on https://vindax.com/. This guideline will help you to pass KYC: https://vindax.com/faq/how-to-complete-identity-verification.html 📍Step 2: Register an account on https://info.vindax.com/. Submit full information required on this page. Guideline: shorturl.at/dDI19 🔖Note: Use the same email for all steps; There must be two separate registrations because vindax.com and info.vindax.com are two separate sites.

Post was updated, indeed the address belongs to Hotbit and a fellow BGL user, not the hacker, sorry about misjudging. Hello, please do not give wrong information, check more carefully. https://bgl.bitaps.com/bgl1qz4x8362m9m36zjhthw5ctpxps323amyft8jt5yIts address is not a Hacker address. You need to make a correction. I claim this for sure. Because I transferred BGLs from my Hotbit wallet to Mobile wallet on 16.11.2022. Please post information on the forum after a good review. Fixed, see the post above. Any updates from the team concerning the hack, exchanges etc?
Please let us know. Thank you!
See above. There are a few questions: 1. Why is the tweeter for the project not active? 2. Why was the release of the NFT collection stopped? 3. Why is there no new exchange to buy a coin, not a token? 4. Why didn't they change the logo to a new one for CMC?
Thank you for questions! 1. The tweeter was created was a community member and currently is not supported and I don't have access to it. We can create a new official twitter. 2. BGL NFT collection is an initiative of MyLuck (out community member), and let's hope the releases continue. Maybe demand is not very high. 3. We would like to make new exchange listing for coin on BGL mainnet, but currently we don't have a person to arrange that. 4. We have communicated with CMC with all the links included, probably they are still processing or mb that is not on their priority list.

Hi dear BGL community!
Unfortunately I have to say that bridge wallet from BGL mainnet side was probably compromised, so the amount of around 450k BGL was transferred to hacker's wallet. Guys are investigating the issue.
This is the biggest hack in all of the BGL's history. Contests are now paused due to these circumstances.
Don't be worried about the bridge funds, they would be reimbursed.

Hi dear BGL community!
We decided to stop tx contest, will explain why: network congestion was tested, we had full block or ~700 transactions in the block. BGL blockchain passed a long-running stress-test. Thanks for all participants!

@vanorton, @EmmaWu how about Lightning Network for BGL?
Up for this question. Hi guys, Lightning Network technically should be supported by BGL as we are continuously syncing with BTC codebase and this feature should be present 'out of the box'. Currently there is a space in the blocks for your tx to get there comfortably, so no urgent need for Lightning on BGL, but technically it is there. Anyone could set up a payment channel if they want to, why not. because I saw some bridge posts having a bit of a problem, so I bought WBGL on pancakeswap, and it worked fine. hope to buy more WBGL in this month. I did not say that I could not buy WBGL from the bridge. I stated that I could not transfer my BGL coins from my wallet to the bridge no matter what RPC I used and there were plenty of wbgl coins available on bsc network. Why dont you read my posts one more time and this time do it carefully? PS I used to be a great advocate of this project, just read my previous posts. However, I think that team should provide some updates concerning this project. I believe that Emma was talking about hiring a marketing person back in April of 2022, then there was some talk about a publication in a tier 1 journal, there were also some questions from the community regarding exchanges and lightning network that went unanswered... Dont get me wrong, this project is great and has a great potential but the team needs to provide some updates to the community if they want to keep this project flowing through the bearish times and keep trust from the community. PS2 I still dont know if the problem with the bridge was fixed because right now there are no wbgl coins to swap through the bridge so I cant test it. Thank you for the feedback and your support! The main problem is to find a proper person to take care of marketing, unfortunately the search still goes on (open for proposals here), but the activity is present nonetheless, check recent articles. We are pretty consistent on providing updates at 2nd post in this thread, it's regularly updated, check it out: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5238559.msg54173808#msg54173808Don't worry BGL is here to stay.

Hi dear community
I want to announce (and we can publicly confirm) this address to be the address with 'burnt' coins in addition to the coins being burnt within tx fees. So that anyone could burn a portion of coins on their own discretion (within a project activity, etc.)
The address is: bgl1q00000000000000000000000000000000tm54qt (it is generated to be valid, last bytes are checksum, but no private key for it obviously)
Explorers and BGL Core could (and would) be eventually upgraded to count such coins burnt and out of circulation (I would ask our software contributors to take this address into consideration).
What are the features of this? - we can count what amounts were sent to this address, from where for any period of time; - we can create different mechanics on top of that: captcha mechanism to send some amount, contest-lottery "burn the ticket" 0.1 bgl = 1 ticket, DAO mechanics (who burns more in a period get more voting power or burn to create a proposal), burn can be a provable reputational merit (a factor of prestige, status as a luxury good, like expensive watch, car etc.)
Would like to see your opinions, ideas for contests, mechanics for this thing!

Hi dear community!
Could you help me please regarding this? A tier-1 media article about BGL is planned to be published soon please share ideas (preferably news-like it's more appropriate for the article format) what should be covered in it!

Hi dear community! Two important updates: 1. There are questions about web wallet (bglwallet.io), here's the instruction, please share it with users across our channels: Please be advised that old RPC endpoint went down, and it means that BGL web wallet at bglwallet.io stopped sending transactions. Our fellow community members at bitaps came to help with this. To fix wallet transaction sending, after logging in into wallet, in the top right there is a button labeled "Node RPC", user should click on it and paste new RPC URL as following:https://pool.bitaps.com/and wallet would work again. It would be great if someone would host RPC endpoint and share it publicly (it's basically a BGL Core node where RPC ports are opened)! Let's be more decentralized! 2. The bridge had to be moved and reconfigured at https://bglswap.com. There were also some issues fixed along the way. Please test responsibly, but even if something gets stuck, the new bridge maintainer would come to help.

Hi dear community! Unfortunately, the old bridge bitgesell-bridge.com is down and we would be transitioning to new server, domain and maintainer for the bridge. All 'stuck' bridged transactions should be returned back by now, please DM me here or on Discord if you have tx that wasn't returned.. I would keep you informed the new bridge is on the way.

Hi guys! A new cool contest is launched! we can call it " Burn mf burn" ! new incentive reward program who like to hack things or want to understand more about BGL. Every week (1008 blocks) 5 addresses would be randomly picked from top 100 addresses that in that week burned most coins by creating transactions. Number of transactions doesn't matter, what matters is the most amount of burned BGL in tx fees. The reward is BGL for $100 for each of 5 chosen addresses. That's BGL for $500/week, $2000/month in rewards! The list of winners would be updated here: https://bglcontest.bitaps.com/burnPayouts are done automatically from address https://bgl.bitaps.com/bgl1qe66smvq80dclu6srtparcesj3np7wmlvfj3wzsBest of luck to everyone! I really like the result of the contest. There is nice tx data https://bitgesellexplorer.com/tx-statsEventually more then 5k BGL was burned.
