it is already listed in exchanges the price are pump and dump. the question is why theres an airdrop? it is legit or scam devs?thanks

There is no airdrop. If you've seen an airdrop promoted by anyone other than the official Dragonchain accounts, it's a scam.

Guys, there is no airdrop. @dragonchain_1 is a fake twitter account, which has now been suspended. The real Dragonchain twitter is @dragonchaingang. https://twitter.com/dragonchaingang

Do not send any ETH to anyone offering a Dragonchain airdrop.

Dragonchain price has surged since it's launch. Any particular reason for that? Where the roadmap milestones can be found?

The price went up because it was seriously undervalued, and still is in my opinion.

Can someone enlighten me on this, please: How can Dragonchain host ICOs when it's an ERC20 token?

DRGN is an ERC20 token which accesses the Dragonchain platform. In the future, DRGN may be swapped to a token which runs on the Dragonchain platform instead of Ethereum.

need to be on new exchanges but I fear they will not so dump the Dragon
no future did you ever watch Fantasia....
The SEC's regulations are the reason the team will not solicit exchanges to list DRGN

So you're not happy that the team comply with regulations? Cheesy What is this, some kind of Anti-FUD?

Let's put it like this, when the SEC decide to shut down all the non-compliant projects, exchanges will be falling over themselves to list tokens that ARE compliant.

Hello,

I am a token holder but recently started to worry about the SEC and regulations for tokens that are considered a security.

Dragonchain was sold in the US and considers itself  to not be a security, but the SEC will be coming with regulations soon and im afraid they may disagree with this. Has this been thought out by the owners? What happens then? For more details on the SECs latest statement related this, see below. Not trying to spread fear on this but genuinely want to understand since I own the token.

"Second are ICOs where the lawyers appear to have taken a step back from the key issues – including whether the "coin" is a security and whether the offering qualifies for an exemption from registration – even in circumstances where registration would likely be warranted. These lawyers appear to provide the "it depends" equivocal advice, rather than counseling their clients that the product they are promoting likely is a security. Their clients then proceed with the ICO without complying with the securities laws because those clients are willing to take the risk.

With respect to these two scenarios, I have instructed the SEC staff to be on high alert for approaches to ICOs that may be contrary to the spirit of our securities laws and the professional obligations of the U.S. securities bar.

I recognize that in some ICOs there is no market professional involved. The SEC is undertaking significant efforts to educate the public that unregistered securities investments offered by unregistered promoters, with no securities lawyers or accountants on the scene, are, in a word, dangerous."

Yes, the regulations have been thought about by the team, and they have sought legal counsel in order to make sure they are exempt from registering as a security.

DRGN is a tokenized micro-licence which allows access to the Dragonchain platform. It offers no dividend or revenue for holding the token, and it was clearly stated in the whitepaper that you should not view the tokens as a speculative investment or expect profits from purchasing them. The SEC's regulations are the reason the team will not solicit exchanges to list DRGN, as this could be classed as a form of market manipulation.

The ICO's that have come under the SEC's scrutiny so far have been those which have led investors to believe they can expect profits by purchasing coins or tokens, either by promising a reward or dividend for holding them, such as the DAO, Munchee, and Plexcoin, or by claiming they are backed by some form of commodity, such as real estate and diamonds in the case of REcoin and DRC World.

https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2017-219
https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2017-185-0

The SEC also stated recently that it is possible for some ICO's to be exempt from regulation: https://www.sec.gov/news/public-statement/statement-clayton-2017-12-11#_ftn5

"It is possible to conduct an ICO without triggering the SEC’s registration requirements. For example, just as with a Regulation D exempt offering to raise capital for the manufacturing of a physical product, an initial coin offering that is a security can be structured so that it qualifies for an applicable exemption from the registration requirements."

To be clear, I'm not offering you legal or investment advice, and if you're concerned about any risks involved in holding DRGN you should consult your lawyer.

I think talk cheap...and they should have there own wallet before launch .
I will drop all my coins if no wallet is available on there platform.

So earlier today you were going to buy some... Now you want to dump because there isn't a dedicated wallet? That's a good one! Absolute classic! Cheesy

How many coins are working with companies that're traded on the Nasdaq? Do you think Cogint are bothered about a wallet?

I've already seen some similar ICO, why are you different?

Hello, sorry, but I don't know what ICO you mean.

Dragonchain was an ICO launched before your coin, it uses the ticker DRGN, so he probably means this.

You should change your ticker to avoid confusion.

GALER SOMEBODY KNOW HOW CAN I REMOVE MY DRAGONS FROM THAT POOL http://www.mining-france.com/pools/drgn/drgn/index.php?page=dashboard AND SEND TO AN EXCHANGE?

You're in the wrong thread mate, this is a completely different coin, it isn't mined.

It looks like this is the thread you need to ask in: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2436339.0

What a coincidence, one of the old fudders turns up on the day we get an update.

You're absolutely correct.
My bad.

No worries dude.

That's basically what I did though, right?

Not with your first comment, it implied there were no updates, whereas the Medium has had posts at least as frequently as you suggested should be made.
No problem you misread. Only 1 of my posts is in that chain (:

No, I didn't misread.
Your first comment: "A blog post every 1 or 2 weeks wouldn't hurt. it's only a blog post and not a book, after all."
Your second comment: "Not one visible from their homepage, no"

Not one visible from their homepage, no

So your issue is that it's not listed on their website? If you suggest it to the team maybe they'll implement a link to the blog.

For anyone else who doesn't know where to find all the resources see below.

I see a lot of tweets with great news coming from the official Dragonchain Twitter account... However, the last blog post on the website has been written in November, and there are only two in total. I think that a serious cryptocurrency needs more frequent updates. Two months is like ages in cryptocurrency time.

You mean updates like the news from earlier, an alliance with a data analytics company that's traded on the Nasdaq?

Would you rather they wrote a daily blog, or actually did something meaningful to achieve adoption and marketshare?

So all the resources that there are already aren't enough for you? Is Medium not a blog?

I believe this could be a serious good coin, however at your website you promote your build from Seattle and even shows bittrex on a map... when does dragoncoin come to Bittrex?  Roll Eyes

Whenever Bittrex chooses to list it. The team's legal advisers have told them not to solicit exchange listings. Bittrex is following Dragonchain on Twitter though, so we may see it listed there at some point. If you want it listed on a big exchange, vote for it on Binance, they have more volume than Bittrex. https://www.binance.com/vote.html

And yes, it probably will be a serious good coin.

So I am waiting for this moment when bags on ED are filled and the price will fall giving me an opportunity to buy cheap. There was not much buzz in media about this ICO. I have missed totally. I just found this project when surfing crypto channels overall CMC announcements about price spike. This is the best advertisement when the price is mooning and coin is listed as one of highest gainers. Coinmarketcap is doing an amazing job for altcoins.

Well, we're on 3 exchanges now, and as you say, being one of the top gainers on CMC is a pretty good advertisement. Things move fast in crypto! I hope you can get in for a price you're happy with, I'm certainly not selling anytime soon.
