I have been here since the first hour of release and the op never said no premine... please get over it He said there was no premine so quit your lying. where? Look guys let's give the developer the benefit of the doubt. Just looking at the code it seems he wasn't "hiding" it, unless he was the dumbest scammer in the world. I think he just screwed up. Let's see how it goes. Who knows maybe some people can pick up some NEB on the cheap and post some real profits. Next time post your pre-mine. If the dev just posted 50K or 20K the coin would have still skyrocketed. Damn some people are dumb.
Yep I wasen't hiding it, just didn't annouce it. I did go a little far and mention no premine, which I do regret and thats where I messed up, I should have just came all upfront from the beginning with the premine, but I didn't, so I did the next best thing and that was to destroy more than half of it, and use most of it for bounties. Nebulacoin still has more potential than ever, this only got us more traffic/trolls.  Keep positive! You won't be let down. OK. It's a false positive, but I don't have McAfee to see why its reporting that. Does anyone else have McAfee and can post their result? A false positive? I don't think so. My antivirus has deleted the QT file, it says it contains a Trojan. It even tells me the name of it. This has never happened before with any wallet I've used, even ones that throw up false positives on virustotal. SO exactly what was the virus it claimed it was? Something very strange just happened. My antivirus software has just quarantined my Talkcoin wallet, in other words removed it. I must have nearly 50 wallets on this computer, never had a problem like this before, and yes, I know antivirus software can see wallets as a threat that could contain a Trojan. This was different, I've been running this wallet for 10 days, and all of a sudden it gives me a warning it has found a Trojan, and requires a shutdown.
This is what it said it found: Artemis!6AF36822F69C
Just a heads up.
Edit: Antivirus flags the windows wallet link as risky now.

I don't see anything wrong with reg premines of 1% or so (as long as most is spent on bounties and a little for dev (there is a lot of work if they stick it out long term and they should be paid)) definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed if dev thought he wasn't hurting his own coin with this crap, he'll deff have a lot of showing and proving to do if he wants our trust back  ....Please forgive me for not talking about the premine upfront and partially lieing. I do apologize, I should have mentioned it from the beginning. I hope we can move forward from this. Bittrex has taken the 30k of the premine and destroyed it. So we're merging with CACHE now? And before anyone says otherwise, it is a merger if they have to share the same codebase to implement PoBc, presumably they will share the same anonymity technology as well? I've been talking to the dev and suggesting the team should push for TOR Anon support on this coin. Freedom and security for communication but also for the coin itself.
What do you guys think?

I think the reason this is so overlooked (we don't even get people coming in here calling it a scam!) is because of the large pre-mine and people not taking the time to reason it out past reading about the pre-mine. Hopefully it can overcome, but the way the markets been I am surprised if you've been able to dump the pre-mine at all. How is our 'gold fund' doing? I know, this is much higher as our market price at the moment, but the potential is huge here! To be as transparent as I can be, I am thinking that I will announce this offer for only a week, after that, I will buy part of the IPO at the fixed price and I got a friend who are interested in investing in XGR, even in this way. So, again, it will be a public offer, anyone welcome to buy any of the IPO during the week, after that I will sell to whoever I can at the fixed price. Please comment and give me thoughts about it! We started a new network bounty bot. The bot sends every minute 0.00000001 NFD to account 111 with a fee of 25 NFD. A transaction has a deadline of 5 minutes. The network bounty account is NFD-BM65-Z57M-LGNK-5HCMKThere will be still blocks without a fee. Please comment and make suggestions. Have fun forging the fees! When noone wants to comment, I'm doing it on my own: I suggest to change transaction frequency to 15 seconds and fee to 6 NFD. This increases probability to forge a none zero block. This is better for small effective balances. Complains? No complaints here. |

You want an active, committed dev team working for the future of the coin and the community? You got it, look at what they've achieved in just 5 weeks, it's seriously impressive. I see big things happening here. And this isn't NXT! A great deal of time and effort has been spent to ensure that NFD has a much fairer distribution model. I suspect this will have a positive effect on trading volume purely based on the numbers of people who own NFD. 1.9 Billion were distributed for free to more than 1200 people.
