1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the next big thing? on: August 29, 2015, 06:36:39 AM
Let's all create threads with the same useless questions over and over again
That add no value to the community so we can all keep the quota up on our sig campaigns
2  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 20% PSN VOUCHER CODE. on: July 31, 2015, 02:11:50 AM
Is this for US PSN?

I'm assuming its $20 as well not 20%
3  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling my Bitcointalk account (Senior member) < this account, details inside on: April 16, 2015, 11:34:40 PM
There is absolutely no point in having a trust system if you can just sell it away

And let's make it abundantly clear here.. Your account has "value" because of that trust system
That is what you're selling off and there is no way we can verify that the new owner deserves the same trust rating that you achieved

By publicly stating that you wish to sell your account instead of going through an anonymous 3rd party tells me that either

a) You don't really understand why the trust system is important in this ecosystem or
b ) You just don't care
4  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] MSI GE60 2PL Gaming Laptop on: March 02, 2015, 07:57:23 AM
You post in my thread with your uneducated opinion

That was incorrect and add no value to the post
And you're telling me that I'm insulting you..

How about this.. delete all your posts in this thread.. reclaim a bit of your dignity and let me sell my laptop

The audacity of some people ...
5  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] MSI GE60 2PL Gaming Laptop on: March 02, 2015, 07:03:19 AM
You said and I quote

"You know in oz you can get them new for the price your(sic) asking"
1188 - 1000 = 88 and that's a positive integer.. meaning that it's not lower than the original price

Grammar is a great indicator of good intelligence.. you can't even spell the word
6  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] MSI GE60 2PL Gaming Laptop on: March 02, 2015, 06:44:41 AM
There is no new laptop of this model I can find in Australia that is $1100
I also said the price was negotiable

I never said it wasn't second hand I said the condition of it was the same as brand new

No it's not.. I have the original receipts and I haven't registered the warranty with MSI against that serial
You don't forfeit the warranty and has no reference to change of ownership here
http://au.msi.com/page/warranty

How about this if the only reason you've come here is to criticise the price then
a. At least get your facts straight
b. Use some grammar because you look like an idiot

8  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] MSI GE60 2PL Gaming Laptop on: March 01, 2015, 10:14:54 PM
Hi All,

I have for sale my partner's laptop that she bought a few months ago
It's a MSI GE60 2PL and it's in pretty much brand new condition

She bought it to play Dragon Age Inquisition on our holidays and finished the game now so doesn't need it anymore
Runs pretty much any game you throw at it.. more details are here on the actual model

http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GE60-2PL-Apache.html

Not really interested in sending it outside Australia and pickup (Sydney) would be highly preferred
Escrow is fine also for other states

These retail new right now for $1299 so looking for AU$1100 negotiable in equivalent Bitcoin of course

I find it hard to believe that someone with a legendary status would not know the answer to this question...

11  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS/WTT] Prospero X1 on: February 10, 2015, 03:16:37 AM
Is there anything specifically you want to trade for one?

How about a 64GB SSD?
12  Economy / Goods / Re: Samsung Galaxy S5 on: February 08, 2015, 09:30:58 PM
Ah I'm terribly sorry I didn't read the first post..

I hate it myself when I'm selling and people ask me something specifically I said I wouldn't do because they didn't read it

Free bump at least Smiley
13  Economy / Goods / Re: Samsung Galaxy S5 on: February 08, 2015, 09:25:46 PM
I would take it for $380 shipped to Australia?

Escrow would be best as well
14  Economy / Goods / Re: Xbox One Unity Bundle on: December 14, 2014, 10:47:40 PM
I'm guessing you're shipping from the US?

Andreas Antonopoulos is in Australia talking about Bitcoin

A story has made it onto the front page on one of our biggest online news sites

What do you all think of the article?
17  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling 100 Spondoolies SP30 Yukon miners with hosting on: November 19, 2014, 06:18:44 AM
Wow it's only currently 17.28 Bitcoins to purchase this miner and 11 months hosting

I would feel bad having to pay such a small amount that's going to give me such a massive return!

Would you take my first born child on top of the cost to make it fair?

Heh!
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Compared to Bitcoin, gold doesn't seem real... on: November 19, 2014, 04:03:40 AM
If something like the Carrington Event happened again today

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_storm_of_1859

Bitcoin wouldn't exist and gold would survive Smiley

Conservative estimate

With an average of an 8% difficulty rise over the next 365 days will return 23.7 coins
Price as of now is 33.11 coins

This doesn't include power costs after the 1/3/2015 either

Easy to show just how bad a deal this is
20  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: KnC Neptune 3.3TH/s + PSU + Various other gear on: October 26, 2014, 10:33:34 PM
I ask myself the same question...

If you got it online today it would take you 126.3 days to mine your BTC back with the assumptions

- You have free power
- There is an average of a 5% difficulty rise across those days

If the difficulty goes up more than that.. and you have to pay for power

You're easily looking at 150-200 days to possibly break even.. depending on your power costs (you may not ever break even)

Save yourself the hassle and just buy 3.9 coins....
